I don’t think tonics would be a good fit for this. If you want to change your look, it would be annoying to have to constantly using a tonic, and that’s before you get to questions of how you would control what your character looks like once you’ve transformed. (Is it random? Does it use your character creation options as a key to assign corresponding features?)

There’s obviously some amount of tech for combat tonics (Infinite Watchknight Tonic,) but I’m not so sure about this idea.

I would say there could be a endless version of each tonic. And I would say the looks would probably be randomized, or maybe just the default look for each race. Depending on whats easier I guess.

Obviously the tonic isn’t going to be for someone that wants a certain hair style. It would be just to change their race. Maybe someone doesn’t want to play as a huge looking Charr but wants an Asura instead.

This is how I feel about it.

Macroing an instrument in game does not gain any benefit over other players at all in any shape or form. Yes it allows this person to play a song more accurately, given the fact that the provided macro actually works.

If said player paid for their own instrument, they should be able to do what they want with it. Using a macro to play a song is quite alright with me. I don’t care who does it.

It’s much more pleasant to hear a song that is actually played right instead of someone spamming their notes not knowing what they are doing.

Sure there are some legit instrument players out there and you won’t know if its a macro or legit, but as the saying goes… What you don’t know won’t hurt you.

I think the worst is during silverwates. Yay, you had to give me a slow loading chest window for just 2 bandit crests and 3 sand.. -_-

I was thinking. It would be great if we could have different race tonics, but still use our own abilities like normal. So say for example. I’m playing an Asura thief, but I want to look like a Charr instead but I can still fight. A Charr like tonic would allow me to do something just like that. There would be 5 tonics (6 if we ever get a new race).

No I don’t feel that rerolling the same class to just change my race is an ideal thing.

And I honestly think, this would be a great feature for those that made the wrong race and hate it, but don’t feel like rerolling, but yet like race elite skill they have.

Here is some straight up feedback, no bs.

The Good:
1. The new dailies are great, rewards for each one completed, don’t have to do 10 different ones to get 10 AP.
2. Login rewards are great. You get 35 laurels (55 if you pick it in last chest). You get 10 free levels for any character per month (6 more in the last chest, so you can get 16 total).

The Bad: (While the login rewards are decent, they lack 2 things)
1. Luck. You only get 2000 in a month. That is absolute crap, I get almost 10 times that amount salvaging stuff throughout the day. Please increase it to a more reasonable amount.
2. Mystic coins, you only get 20 in a month, and since monthlies are getting pulled. You will be losing out on 30 mystic coins (1 for each day, and 20 for completing the monthly, so you would have gotten 50, now its only 20). The amount of these need to be increased as well. Maybe try this instead. Day 1 – 2 Mystic Coins, Day 8 – 4 Mystic Coins, Day 15 – 8 Mystic Coins, Day 22 – 16 Mystic Coins. Then add on 20 Mystic coins for the 28th day as an automatic reward just like the 2% increase to gold find. This way we will still get our 50 mystic coins we used to.

It would be cool if we could just hide the armor we don’t want shown. That way I can be in my swimming trunks on my Asura capping away with my dual pistols like a boss.

You could let your imagination go wild with this one. So many designs you could do. Although what would probably be simpler is just use the guild emblem on it.

What I am talking about folks.. is CAPES!!!!

Yes, the ones that would go around your characters neck and drape down to almost the bottom of your feet. Not those wash rag looking ones they have in WoW. I mean good decent size. They capes would have animation too when you run. So as you start to walk.. it would sway in the wind.. and the faster you pick up speed the more the cape would drape outward to go with the motion (think of a someone running with a flag over their head and how it flaps in the wind, except the cap would only go as high as your upper back). So at the 33% movement speed, that thing should be flapping like crazy. I honestly think this would be one of the greatest items that you could put in the gem store. I would definitely buy one, although maybe a color option upon buying would be ideal (unless guild emblem does that for you?).

Dailies never really worked on monthlies.. I thought monthlies was kill like x amount of champ mobs, ect ect.

So It’s like $104 tops according to their price, but i don’t know any chinese middle man services.. just japan.

It was out of stock instantly the topic was posted. How do you expect us to “save” anything, when we can’t even buy it? Maybe you guys mean savings by not be available so we don’t spend money on it?

- 4 out of 5 people in team got the daily chest (me being 5th did not)

it’s 35 laurels if you don’t choose the Chest of Plentiful Laurels at the end of the 28 days. if you do, that would amount to 55 laurels for 28 days.

Yeah I noticed that after a little bit, I was just adding the numbers up on the 1 wiki page, then forgot about that after.

So since monthlies are getting pulled. Based off of a 30 day month, each day getting 1 laurel for dailies, and 10 for monthlies, That would mean 40 laurels a month. Now it’s only 35 with the new dailies.

Would be nice if laurels was added to black lion chests as an uncommon item at least.

The only reason why the airship is there is do to the LS season 1 content when Lion’s Arch got attack.

If Lion’s Arch ever gets fully rebuilt in the near future I strongly think the Airship will get removed.

No, if you look at the picture, you get laurels on login 2,7,9,16,21,23 then 28. How many though, is unknown.

I don’t see where you seen the laurels in either of these pictures. All I see is a moon phase, and treasure boxes. Where did you get your info? .. Maybe circle something I’m not seeing?

If you look at the icons on the Daily Log-in Bags, you will see Laurels on the second bag of each row, and the seventh bag of rows 1 and 3. You can, I believe, also choose more Laurels from the very last reward container (Number 28).

Is that the laurel symbol on the first bag of every row too? It looks like a small one to me.

Ok say for example.. I have some ecto’s i wanted to sell.. lets take 8 for example..

So I right click on the ecto’s in my inventory, i click on sell on trading post.. the window comes up, I click on sell instantly, right after I click that the green window appears.. I then press OK .. and it brings me back to the window asking me to sell 1 ecto now.. but they are all sold.. so I click sell instantly again, and it tells me I do not have that item to sell (because I had already sold all.

The way the window used to work is.. if you ran out of an item, after you clicked OK, it would take you back to your items you are able to sell instead.

This hasn’t been working correctly since the patch.

The window updates everytime someone joins someone’s party, instead of the icon just slowly appearing in the window instead, needs more of a real-time function without the stupid animation (appearing from right side and moving to the left over and over).

There is absolutely no reason for Bandit Crests to take up inventory space.. at all.

Lets take the guild I am in.. [TTS]

There are 12 TTS guilds total (so far). Only the leaders can be in multiple guilds at once for obvious reasons. Some of them have 3 accounts. So they can be in all 12. Having a guild alliance chat would greatly benefit something like this, but for everyone. That way we could talk between each other.

Some people may think… "there is no “need” for this" … Regardless of need or not.. its something that I could see a huge amount of the players utilizing and taking advantage of.

This one is pretty self explanatory.

You take for example.. Guild 1, and Guild 2. You then put in a special chat command where the Guild 1 owner would type something like /GuildAlliance Guild 2. And then Guild 2 owner would type something like /GuildAlliance Accept. Thus combining guild chats together, where they could then use /ac (for alliance chat).. and talk to each other!

Having something like this in game would make a huge impact on coordinating certain events, and working together.

Regardless if you use it for raids or what not, it would still be a great feature to have in this game.

Has anyone actually tested it out yet? I have a feeling it won’t work on anyone in instances, so dungeon skipping is out of the question. (Besides, it’s an account bound one use item only.) You could use it to skip JP’s, but Mesmers can already do that for 99% of JP’s with Portal anyway.

Thats why I was asking about a Permanent version instead. :O

What would be the point?… we can already teleport almost anywhere with waypoints, and AFAIK currently there’s nowhere in the game we can’t reach with more than a couple of minutes (at most) of running from a waypoint, except for points you’re not supposed to reach easily (jumping puzzle endings, for example).

You could have a friend with map completion, hop around to all waypoints, and you could just use this permanent teleport thing to jump right to them instantly.. getting all waypoints lol.. Also you could even use this to jump to people on vistas to get them done (not sure if you need to be in party though).

This would be nice. Make it so.

You need to be putting this to the attention of Overwolf at their website, ANET/NCsoft has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with overwolf.

I’ve been having problems with Overwolf, and now /wiki will not bring up my browser window like it used to. Even in windowed mode. I have to manually go to my browser to get that to work. This never happened before this patch.

Guild wars 2 is completely overlapping Overwolf .. like there is some sort of always on top function enabled. I have GW2 in Windowed Fullscreen. I am using the latest drivers for my graphics card. I have reinstalled both and nothing works.

I tried changing to fullscreen 1080p, then back to windowed fullscreen.. and i get an error something about not having directx 9 .. but I have 11 installed so I didn’t see why that would show up, my video drivers are up to date even.. and when overwolf actually stays on top of game .. 2 mins later my game crashes. I’ve tried at least 20 different combinations to try to get Overwolf to work, but since this last patch.. I can’t do anything. Trying to repair game client currently.

There is also a diminishing return that kicks in if you have camped the same character in the zone to do the same event.

Go AFK in LA or something with that character.

I logged on, did Karka Queen, went to Tequatl, then went onto Wurm .. i don’t think DR would kick on just in that short of time.

So I did Triple Trouble 2 times in a 24 hour period.. first time I didn’t get a golden wurm chest, and I didn’t get one the 2nd time neither. This is usually that chest you click on on the bottom right of your screen and hit accept. A lot of people were reporting they didn’t get theirs either.

Was this encounter’s rewards nerfed?

So after Silverwastes nerf.. it seems like there isn’t a decent full map or even organized ones. I think people just gave up, but now I’m stumped where to farm, and please don’t suggest dungeons, or fractals. I am looking for solo stuff, or maybe pugging in certain maps. Has to be a decent place
