not sure about the uninstall, but you do not have to even uninstall. Just copy the whole folder to new drive and change desktop shortcut path to the new location. Then delete folder from original drive.
VLC player will play MKV files no problem.
i use OBS open broadcaster… its free open source.
google OBS local recording for settings on youtube. cuz local recording settings are different from streaming settings.
you can use the same toon for pve and pvp, the build and equipment/rune/sigils/amulet and traits are all seperate. (the little helmet icon top middle of screen when in the mists)
i think you need a toon to be lvl 22 to unlock the PVP icon at the top. then it is unlocked on all future toons. (but you can get there via portals in Lions arch without the button if you dont have a lvl 22+ toon).
while there is no point in leveling a pvp only toon, i have a few of them sitting at levels 2-10+. and i keep an empty character slot when i feel like rolling a funny name for awhile.. the only reason to level would be for looks since u cannot equip shoulders and gloves i think, at that low level.
been playing since start so i have tons and tons of the tomes of knowledge for leveling. ive leveled 6 toons using tomes, and still have enough to fully level 8 more. but i dont bother since its PVP…
what playstyle do you like?
if you always play warriors and tanks, trial 80 the warrior, it is alot of fun, i personally get bored with the ease of it.. its too straight forward and can get boring.. but they easy mode PVE roaming.
necro is a great start, its a PVE monster when u get some levels and some minions rolling.. and the reaper trait is awesome but you will need max lvl and then do hero points in the heart of thorns maps..) so u may find yourself using the boost to get ahead and it may be worth it..
mesmer i think is the hardest as far as leveling. they do not really shine until they hit higher levels and unlock alot of traits. the playstyle is more complex, and the portal skill is godlike for roaming PVE, ppl will love you for it..
i used the 80 boost becuz i have 1 of every class maxed anyway, but i dislike how it locks you in the 80 zones…
dont spend alot of cash on gear until you hit 80… use what you get from drops and buy cheap what you need from trade post.. once you hit 80, you can gear to your hearts content. the lvl 80 boost gives you a full set of max gear and trinkets when u commit to it…
so id suggest…
use the 80 boost trial on all the classes, and see what you enjoy most..
then you can choose to regular lvl your main , and save ur boost for your next toon.. or say screw it and use the boost, get a set of gear then play the game as ur necro…. you will still learn the class.. even though you will be stronger in the lower zones..
have you looked at the CPU hierarchy charts, puts both of those in the same category. so i would say its not a worthy upgrade…
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/cpu-hierarchy,4312.html
if you want a real upgrade, (and i always was an AMD fan) but save a little cash get an intel MOBO and an i5-4690 or higher… if u wanna stay AMD, you can get an m5a97 FM3+ AMD mobo cheap and get an fx 8000x series…
but id go with intel…
i will say tho i ran GW2 on an fx-6300 with m5a97 mobo and HD7850 1gig GPU, and had med-high settings 40-60+fps…
but now i went intel with an i7-4790k (still using same single GPU with 60fps+ everywhere high….) and never looked back.
when match is over, its over, dont worry bout it.. if u win or lose, there are always ppl that will just keep attacking after match is over cuz they are either salty or angry…
probably missed a que pop…
if u have hdmi out on the GPU ur good with any build. i play on a 55inch tv at 1080P.. i do not have a computer desk or anything like that… this is my main rig for browsing net/netflix/GW2/movies/etc/etc… i7-4790k, with an older HD7850 1gig GPU…. plays gw2 on almost max, 60fps+ everywhere..
grab a gtx 970 for future proofing, and an I5/I7 and ur golden, just HDMI to the tv..
my exact build is i7-4790k, HD78501gig(will be upgrading soon) 16gb ram, 750wPSU razer naga mouse and sidewinder X4 keyboard.. dont even bother with wireless….
my case is full tower, so its no, media center PC, its a monster.. just sits next to the entertainment center
yeah just watch for the dodges and kiting.. theres ur mesmer.. not bad if u have AOE just burn all the clones/phantasms.. the annoying thing in the midle of a crazy skirmish (and ive done this b4 and it works) is when a ranger has the same name as their pets and ur not paying attention to the character icon above.. which happens..
link to the xpadder config
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1YROM5NF7bCbkbJTsEvZ2XRPHZSYdtctkPzj9yo0zleI/edit
this is the only thing i know of, is using xpadder with an xbox controller. i never could get used to playing seriously using a controller since i pvp alot.. but maybe for general roaming around pve it works…
note: the xpadder site only offers a paid version, but there is a free older version but i cannot remember where i got it from. i use it for running SNES roms with an xbox controller…
(edited by black sun empress.7401)
if it was a new toon id delete it. but considering its a 4yr old toon i wouldnt delete… ive made 3 or 4 norns along the way since beta.. i’ve tried and tried to enjoy it and i always get tired of the giant slow norn. then i use kit and they end up shortest female norns and i love how they look..
rush it all u can, theres no guarantee it wont be broken next year…
i have every class lvled to 80 and geared and done all content with…
i do not do raids so cannot comment on that. but aside from that ranger is solid, its my main. use for everything from general roaming/farming/events/world bosses etc. i love the pets… and i can change up my play style from full ranged, to melee, axe/sword/torch/horn condi or power dmg. etc. its also easy to lazymode PVE with if ur just chattin on TS with friends. great survivability. and plenty of damage. YES, other classes can pump out more damage than you, but it’s PVE, noone cares. u also have a trait in druid that gives perma 33% speedbuff.. and i cannot stand slow toons anymore after this (im lookin at you guardian, (yes they have speed but u have to manage the skill rotation).
but i will tell u to take another look at elementalists. i did not like ele in GW1, and i never liked them in gw2 since beta, but a friend of mine she plays only one toon.. an ele.. so i started learning the class (i liked the skills i like the staff or dagger/dagger or horn/focus).. you can pump out so much might stack and damage, and the skill rotations are not that difficult to learn. and it is alot of fun.
in the end… play what u enjoy the most… since beta launch ive rotated mains a few times, but im still on ranger… and ele…. 90% of the time..
u can still run d/d with a modified auramancer build, it isnt on meta. BUT it helps if u are playing with a couple ppl that know you are running it, and understand what u are up to.
u can bump fire dmg and might stacking(or blind on tier 3 fire), sacrificing some of the heals.
currently testing rune of the pack, and paladins amulet
u lose the reflects from focus, but ride the lightning and updraft suprise groups.
not saying its optimal, but its fun..
am i cursed as one of the unfortunate?
would a diff acct give me better luck?dont keep giving me, RNG is RNG…. sucks to be u…
RNG is RNG. And yes, it DOES suck to be you. PVP is a game mode that has very little in the way of drops. PVE is where the vast majority are. So you want the better drops? Do pve. That being said, I’ve had… 3 hoards, 4-5 wurm chests, 5 ascended weapon boxes, around 8 ascended armor chests, and 9 precursors.
you seem to have some good luck then with all that listed, congratz!.
oddly enough, pvp reward tracks are where i GOT all the drops i listed above except for the teq hoarde, and a few useless rings from fractals.
and i play about 90%PVE and play 10%PVP, a few matches a day, maybe a little more on weekends….
like i said.. it’s just a rant mixed with some frustration sprinkled in there. i know nothings going to change.
@OP what is your luck purcentage ? Apart from that your experience is pretty common I would say and I can relate to your experience in loots. On a side note I would also say that for me, I had better loot when making a full rotation of skills at its maximum proficiency on WBs for example but I also remember watching a stream in which a guy was playing ele for: he had no real clue how to play, barely tagged mobs in defense phase, auto-attacked a lot, didn’t make the rotation in order to stack might during the burn phase but still ended up looting a tequatl hord weapon box for his fight against tequatl….Priceless xD
LUCK is around 250%, but is negligable, 250% of .002% is nothing
i know its just a rant. im sorry. seems everyone i know that plays the game just falls into cash/drops/skins/luck/ etc.. and im forced to buy gems to convert to gold when i want something.. i know there are tons of these posts., have a toon of very class that i rotate, and all have done everything for the most part…
(edited by black sun empress.7401)
i am not asking for handouts lootwise. i am fine if i’m precursor RNG jinxed, fair enuff. i am NOT asking for pre’s to drop from the skies for everyone.. .. but if all i get are blues and greens worth merchfood silver/copper regardless of all gamemodes it’s garbage. after 3000+hrs i am tired of nickel and diming………
if it wasnt for my guild who i have made lasting freindships with, and for PVP which i love regardless of meta snobs and tier snobs my group always has fun there…
i am seriously tired of being cursed with crap RNG…
was soooo happy with SAB coming back, and this was icing on the cake.. 4/5 got weapon boxes, i got nothing…
since beta launch i can count on 2 hands the good drops ive gotten…
entropy
genesis
5-6 random crap stat rings from fractals/pvp
4-5 some decent stat rings from fractals/pvp
1- tequatle horde wep box..
2 ascended armor boxes from pvp (best drops ive gotten in game) still had to convert to stats i needed..
never got any other exotic worth over 2gold..
thats it…
the only thing that keeps me playing is friends in PVP..
while everyone around me is working on their 4-8th legendary, with multiple precursor drops…..
i have played every game mode,
i am not asking for handouts.
what am i doing wrong…
am i cursed as one of the unfortunate?
would a diff acct give me better luck?
seems same thing happened in GW1, never got good drops there either…
i love this game, and its playstyle but comeon…
dont keep giving me, RNG is RNG…. sucks to be u…
could never get used to those keypads. had a razer nostromo.. i dont use alot of keybinds.. they may work great for first person shooters, but trying to use that, as well as just do things like talk in map chat, i couldnt get used to swapping from that to keyboard then back depending on what im doing.
since u have the naga mouse, scroll wheel right/left/and click and then the 2 buttons are F12345. Love that as an ele and ranger.. side buttons the number 1 is set for teamspeak push to talk, the rest are left as is as your 2 through 0 that covers ur heal and elite issue.
everything else i left mainly as the default. WASD-QE to move, space to jump, the little ` symbol to the left of the number 1 key for wep swap. i use the number 1 key above Q for auto attack, and 2-10 on mouse for the rest of skill bar. muscle memory will work for u once u get used to using the mouse buttons.
lemme know what u decide to go with im thinking of upgrading as well. pulling med-high on a 1gb HD7850 (i7-4790kcpu)… lookin at gtx970.. only game i play is gw2 tho.. so not sure if overkill..
You don’t have to buy new GPU just because they are being released. For GW2 HD 7850 is already perfectly capable and upgrading to GTX 970 has no real benefits. I normally suggest upgrading CPU but you already got top CPU too so… Are you actually feeling the game lags a lot? Or you just want to spend some money for no good reason?
Only reason for you to upgrade would be if you want to play some other much newer games that are designed to require much more GPU power or use modern standards (4k, DirectX 12 etc).
no lag, game is beautiful – 50-120FPS depending where im at (never notice above 60 tho since 60hz tv) on 1080p on 55inchtv. i7 runs at 4.6ghz. but gpu-z shows card runs at 99%, @60c temp all the time when playing. so while there is no lag and it stays cool, it is defenitley taxing the card. so i guess i wanna upgrade for the sake of upgrading. maybe a gtx 960 would be a better buy, although i do not think the 128bit memory bus could make use of the 4gb version i think that one is a gimmick..

I had that issue with OBS. I can check my settings later. I found a guide for the proper settings for “recording only” and it comes out crystal clear with manageable file sizes. I know Fraps file size is insane.
FRAPS or OBS to record.
windows movie maker to edit which is free (although may have to dload from microsoft since its part of a windows essentials package and not included on all versions of windows, but is free to download)
you can try OBS. open broadcaster, open source and free. works very well to record. not sure your issue though as i use fraps and have no problem..
i dunno why fifty five inch tv was replaced with kitten with the word filter..
i play 1080p on kitten inch tv at 60hz (so i wont see above 60fps). spend more on the CPU, and dont kill yourself on the GPU…. i run an i7-4790k on an asus z97a mobo set to performance (no manual overclocking) which puts me at 4.6ghz… 16gb ram
MY GPU IS A RADEON SAPPHIRE 1GB HD 7850….. card is old as dirt…
(anything above 30 while just lounging about in a map you wont notice a diff) with fraps loaded and the options in game showing FPS i get 40-50ish in LA, 40-50ish in mists waiting for pvp.. 120+FPS everywhere else roaming PVE and story etc.. except huge world boss events and i run Dragon stand daily and everything is smooth as butter even when it dips to 30-40…. all settings med-high… the settings i did turn down, i turned down just a smidge since visually it was minimal on the game, like shadows… i think the biggest culprit was reflections which i set to terrain and sky…
for whatever reason when i take a screenshot it does not show the fraps in upper corner…. it is basically same as FPS shown in options..
(edited by black sun empress.7401)
dont shy against rangers cuz of the pets, they aren’t hard to manage and are alot of fun to collect, and use. been playing since beta so i have every class maxed but i use for diff things..
ranger – is my main, love her, and use for everything from general pve, guild missions, fractals, farming, world boss hunting, and end game meta events. you can make their playstyle as complicated as u want with melee or condi, or go lazy mode longbow event farm. tiger/smokescale/bristleback pets are my fav. Druid is fine as long as u dont expect to be a 100% healer class, i run longbow and staff for events. the staff is good for crowd control, light heals, mobility and mob tagging…
warrior – i dont play warrior anymore but it is a dps might stacking monster. i just find it too simple to use and i get bored with the skill rotation.. greatsword/axe mace,
guardian – dragonhunter is very nice. can use in all game modes, the traps are a general PVE heavy hitter, plus you have tons of blocks blinds heals damage mitigation plus party wide boons buffs.. only downside is mobility. only class that doesnt have a perma swiftness and thats just me i have a need for speed when goin places u can run staff and stack the symbol for swiftness but ur stopping every 12 sec to charge for 4 sec, or drop a skill to use “retreat” which if general roaming, u can do just remember to switch skill out b4 u enter combat. . the BOW skills are fun tho , and Greatsword and sword focus are pro.
Necro. - depending on how u look at the game, unless u want to be the “hero” in a story or a warrior/paladin class good guy blah blah type. this i think is where u want to be… speed, insane dmg, reaper is a MONSTER in pve. this is my 2nd main. but you have to like the whole dark/death concept. minions can tank and dmg for u, or u can run a chillbot and just shutdown and melt everything. dagger/horn is optimal at the moment, greatsword hits like a truck, and reaper shroud is just lawnmower 2.0 on sterioids..
elementalist is also amazing, takes a little more attention to stay alive since ur squishy running full DPS gear, but insane dmg, AND ALOT OF FUN, im currently addicted to ele at the moment.
as far as guilds, send me a msg in game, good group of ppl. relaxed and always willin to help..
oh and you will get medium high settings with that as well..
a couple guild mates use the ASUS ROG series and love it. they run the 17" versions
15.6" FHD and not too flashy, will let u easily upgrade HD and ram, but ur not gonna be upgrading a GPU on a laptop. 1200$ gets u an SSD and some extra VRAM, which wont be needed for GW2 anyway. or 975$ without, and u can add ur own bigger better quality SSD cheaper im betting.
MSI apache are nice as well, but same specs around same price…
maybe stop trying to be a little kitten.. join a guild, make some friends and pvp for the fun of it. im at 3000 matches, so im not pro, but not new… 50/50 win rate. i would gladly take a team of 1st timers as opposed to some self entitled prick like u. if u dont have fun while ur playing a game, its time to quit…
WOW – I don’t think that was necessary.
You know… instead of getting on your high horse, this guy is being honest.
Look at all the QQ threads about AFK’ers.
You often know you’re on the losing team within a min or 2, and I like to just keep playing, doing my thing.
BUT when I see someone going AFK at the same time as the penny has dropped for me that my team mates are clueless, I know that THAT person was probably the other decent player on the team and he turned up with good intentions, wanting some competition but got poo’d on by the system.
Then I see the guys who are still playing… and their !!!!!!‘ing in chat about do this do that… and really think they have a chance – because they’re that new.
And I keep on playing – doing my thing… but I know that the AFK’er was most likely a reasonable player and the other well intentioned folks – well… they’re learning… hopefully the system doesn’t break their enthusiasm.
TLDR – Guy comes on forum… writes honestly…. gets abused….
the only thing i can say to this is what i said b4, its not pvp, it is NEVER PVP. its team vs team. play with ppl u like. if u solo que. make some friends.
afk’rs will happen
DC will happen
ppl quit, will happen
i want u all to fight every match like it depends on ur life. and every part of ur team protects u
.
bout to solo que. and i bet i have a better time than u….
screw the ESL, screw the elite, screw the rank farmers. honestly im not impressed watching esports meta garbage. . screw MMR, take a little bit of advice, play with friends, make some friends, win or lose, its all about how did u enjoy ur match. some of the best matches i have ever had win or lose, was playing with good ppl, and against good ppl.
when u solo que, you have the option to just run amuck and YOLO with no communication. or u can say hi, and try to talk strategy. take the lead if noone else will, and try.. wont always work, but sometime it does and you will meet some nice ppl.
TL:DR its a game, have fun….. <3
100% agree with this. I have so much fun when i play with guildies (duo or triple queue sometimes)…(note: we very rarely use TS) but its fun because we know how we play and can anticipate each other to a certain degree.
When solo queuing i totally agree with trying to take the lead/initiative if no one else is. Many times we have made a difference in Temple map simply because i would say in Team chat “Tranquility in 30 seconds. Please help”.
On another note OP, you said you get inspired when you see a “pro” team mate play well. Why not be the “pro” team mate to your “noob” team and inspire them to play better?
im not on a high horse m8.. i am saying. enjoy ur game. enjoy ur matches. win or lose,. play ur best. and HAVE FUN WHILE DOING IT. i dont care if im losing 500/50 if im having a good time on TS with my friends around the world. i get that 1 stomp with my favorite finisher. then i win. ITS PVP. HAVE FUN…. hitme up in game if u want to play with decent ppl….
Except for it’s hard to find a good guild with devoted pvp players that won’t discuss totally unrelated thing in or before the match. Not to mention losing in parties like that, may give birth to mutual mistrust among members in the future. So nah, no thanks, I’d rather focus on increasing individual skill than constantly running into situations like that. Not saying it doesn’t worth a shot to try to find a group/guild/party like that but totally not while the season is open already.
this is the type of person that ruins pvp… stop thinking its pvp, its team vs team. season or no season… talk to ur ppl…
ive played since beta… u are missing my point.,,,,,, win or lose doesn’t matter… play for fun and with good ppl. because in the end it doesnt matter . you wont always win, you wont always lose. you may lose 20 matches in a row. then you will win 501/499. that is the best match. you will also play a match where u lose 499/501 and that will be ur best match. bcuz u got the best stomp, or the clutch rez. even tho u lost, you had a great match.
this is the kind of person i wanna pvp with and wanna pvp against. take a leap and be a better person..
the DARK RONINS will see u on the battlefield, and i will greet u with a bow and a good fight.
wrong terminology poor choice of words. im sorry. u are basically saying you only play well when the rest of ur team plays well. u are indifferent to your team right off the bat unless they prove themselves to u.
screw the ESL, screw the elite, screw the rank farmers. honestly im not impressed watching esports meta garbage. . screw MMR, take a little bit of advice, play with friends, make some friends, win or lose, its all about how did u enjoy ur match. some of the best matches i have ever had win or lose, was playing with good ppl, and against good ppl.

i thought i broke my TS3 settings, setting it up. a guild mate logged in, we were both in the lobby, and me as server owner admin i couldn’t assign them from guest to guild member group, or from guest to officer group.
then i hopped into the different channels. and in my AFK channel and i can apparently assign ppl to diff server groups from there.
what am i missing, all settings look the same across rooms. why cant i do it from any room? when im in the afk channel all server groups are available to me, but any other room, they are all grayed out. 12 diff rooms, all standard rooms. some varying join power and talk power edits, but thats it.
and after i make them officer, they can change guests to guild members from any room.

i really liked playing this build, but it helped me make a slightly diff build that i enjoy more. i usually just run PVE zerk MM… after trying ur build, i enjoyed the chill factor. but i felt the armor rune bonus wasn’t really needed. the sigils on weps are fine, chill and might stacks are great. i went dagger warhorn and GS. ALL ZERK with pack runes.
blood 2-2-2
soul 3-2-2-
reap 1-2-3
still undecided about blood. dagger speed buff and war horn perma 33% speed are redundant. but i like daggers.
Good build, ty for helpin me thresh out a side build.
using shouts, suffer, rise, you are all weaklings, chilled to the bone. steamrolls all PVE..
glad to help, i popped on just at the right moment.. added to friend. cheers enjoy ur hall, if u like sparring and such 1st upgrade i recommend is the arena.. its alot of fun. all the upgrades are pricey tho..
gg thread necro, are u hitting ur mice with hammers and penguins?, if ur having issues with ur naga try to roll back software update, or get new update. thought mine took a crap, turned out to be a software bug with the razer synapse. been using it fine for months now… maybe u got a bad mouse. my post 9 posts above i have all 3 mice listed in this thread, my g600 and g502 are in my garage as backup. both GREAT mice, 502 not enuff buttons tho, and the rocker on the pointer finger is annoying. but. the feel of the 12 button naga is the best, (although i dislike the cloud based driver sync etc) which glitched and forced me to try other mice, g600/g502. then all a sudden new update back in business with the naga… i just dont bother with updating now unless i hear its stable.
i run a tankier version basically exactly like this for the past year, then adding druid when it came out, it works very well and people never expect it.. Using soldiers ammy. its not on metabattle. my own custom build. run the second one with druid:natural stride for the speed buff and reduced immob, and lingering light for mass blinds when ur in avatar and drop heals on group. i use the we heal as one heal skill for boon sharing to pets. smokescale and wolf. energy and intelligence on both weps. fast bouncy tanky dmg condi clearing goodness. but when new patch comes will have to re-evaluate build since they are removing my soldiers and nerfing energy sigils to the ground.
i use the same GPU as u, the sapphire radeon 1gbit HD 7850 and i get 80+fps everywhere, with a few settings turned down that honestly, dont really impact visuals. i play on a 55inch HDTV, 40-60 in LA, and 40-60 in dragon stand and big maps. what CPU are u using, thats more important. at 1080p, anything above 30FPS u wont notice TOO much diff in an MMO. and if ur monitor is 60hz refresh anything above 60fps doesnt matter.. gw2 options matches FRAPS fps in pic. i would say tho, if u plan to play other games, go 970 for the 256 bit bus.. as opposed to the 128bit 960..
30fps+ in this game is perfectly playable without issue, its not CoD…. ive never ever felt laggy, on various maps except the stupid svanir boss the snow effects kill FPS… i dont wvw alot, but i lead HoT maps alot. DO NOT SPEND 500$ on a gpu just for gw2. if u plan to play other games then upgrade accordingly.
if u have an original character that has had some birthdays, you should have a instant lvl 20 scroll from the gift. (these do not stack) so new toon, use scroll to instant 20.
follow cooking guide to 400 for cheap 10 lvls, use crafting boosters if you have them.
XP train in edge of the mists.
PvP you get Tomes of knowledge easily, ive leveled 8 toons to 80 just doing that.
always have XP boost food on you, cheapest is bowl of candy corn custard i think, 45min of +15%xp for kills. its dirt friggin cheap.
after you get a decent i7, dont kill yourself with $$$ on the rest of the parts like GPU, and crazy expensive ram.
i did put a little bit more into my PC, for photoshop and other things. but i play gw2 with
i7-4790k (330ish$)set to performance which runs at 4.6ghz (not overclocked)
16gb ram (85$)(was 8gb(50$), no diff in performance on gw2)
asus z97a mobo ,(90ish$)
rosewill challenger case (50$)(recently upgraded to thermaltake mk2 (100$)full tower for the lulz room and expandablility)
Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 1GB 256bit bus GPU<———- not a high end card. 100$ish now
250gb samsung SSD 850 evo (90$)i think with 1TB HDD (50$)for storage
i play on a 55inch TV at 1080P via HDMI, and the game is beautiful. i only turn reflections to terrain and sky, and i think character distance models to medium. i notice no difference either way on the model distance.
50ish FPS in LA, 60+ everywhere else (60hz refresh on display means u wont see anything above 60fps anyway, but FRAPS, and ingame options FPS match , shows up to 100fps alot of times.
unless your going 1440p or 4k monitors that require 500$GPU, spend ur cash on a nice CPU.

Hall upgrade Tavern 2 needs more atmosphere
in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

im not even bothered by lack of multi-level(floors) which would be another great idea. i want something to do in the friggin tavern.. WTB NPC’s that do stuff..
Hall upgrade Tavern 2 needs more atmosphere
in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns
Posted by: black sun empress.7401
Don’t get me wrong, i love the tavern restoration 2 upgrade, it looks great. we have precipice hall, and we spent alot of time and gold on upgrading the arena, tavern etc.
But, I am a little disappointed in the tavern2 considering the cost. its just a building you can stand inside of. the bartender gives you the crappy 4%xp buff and thats it.
I know it may sound trivial, but it’s a social hub, chill out area while other ppl battle in the arena, or just lounging in map chat or TS3. We could use a few NPC’s considering the cost and effort involved. Offering party favors,, some music like a band, a bartender that lets u get the drunk effect, (does gw2 even have that? i dont play with recreational consumables too much in this game but in gw1 you would spin and the gfx would get loopy)
or is this a crazy request?, i am not an immersion snob roleplayer, but those couple things would be icing on the cake for atmosphere.
Thoughts?
well if you like PVP, then just PVP your way to 80, you get tomes of knowledge that gives u a level for each one, also just logging in daily will give you 10+ tomes per month.
ive leveled 8 toons from 1-80 using just tomes, its simply the fastest way if you enjoy pvp.
as for necro build in pvp, u can run minion master, its pretty forgiving.
anyone have a good idea of what to train, in what order for jungle?
i have
glider 2/6
itzel 4/6
exalted 2/5
nuhoch 1/6
not sure what to train next, what would be most useful/needed as i venture into the other maps besides verdant.
currently on nuhoch 2 atm, or should i work on gliding more?
thanks.
