City of Hope storyline bugged. Pass all 3 trials, get to end to leave trial area by picking up the egg, and stuck. Can not get out. Sucks about this game is there is no “in game” support who can speak with you live and help you out.
still bug, can’t believe it still hasnt been fixed. in all the LS chapters, if you run just a little ahead of NPC, progress is likely to bug, forcing you to restart again, working as intended?
back to unplayable. was good a few days ago but only while it lasts. now back to random ping spikes and dc. VPN don’t work as well either.
want to continue support/playing this game but honestly can’t even get stable connection. needs to have better routing in SEA when other games don’t have this issue.

yea seems to be okay for now (For Streamyx). so we have to thank our ISP for that?
what other MMOs route through Telia? i’ve never DCed so badly in other games.
300 ping is already good enough, for ppl in SEA/OCX it is >300-400+ms all the time.
too bad you need to use a 3rd party VPN to play the game. PingZapper and most VPN also has a monthly fee. the only decent free one i could fine is Windscribe.
If you guys still having issue with the connection, try using VPN. It solved my issue with DC.
it works temporarily, but it is not convenient in the long run when you have other stuff downloading in the background that use up the VPN bandwidth allowed. ping is also higher.
other online games have proper routing and don’t need a VPN to have stable connection out of the box. Gw2 needs VPN to just not DC every 10 mins lately. why can other games not route through the Tier 3/Telia servers and why must NCsoft servers specifically route through there? there lies the probem.
what we hope is Anet to contact the networks involved to look into the issue, because Level 3 or Telia is the hop before reaching their NCsoft servers. our ISP is unable to solve the problem and we don’t have other choice of ISP. our report also carries little weight.
well it’s a shame because we really like the game and have been playing for a long time and this DC problem is only so glaring lately. i’ve seen similar reports from players in my country with Streamyx ISP. i guess most will just move on to other games since it is unplayable out of the box. we have no choice of ISPs here either due to the monopoly.
i hope Anet can look into the route of affected ISPs to their NCsoft servers, and maybe setup an alternate server route. because other multiplayers games don’t DC like this.
After the patch, I suffered from frequent lag and multiple disconnections from the server. This is very frustrating and heart-breaking.
I’m a player from Malaysia and tested with other online mmo(s) / games. However, I don’t have any connection issue with those games. By the way, teamspeak is smooth as usual (even though I don’t have mic).
I would love to continue support the game and hopefully one day I might be able to play with my children in future (well… I’m still single but who knows one day it may become true?). It just that the connection issue really breaks me … a lot. I don’t know about other players, maybe they will take break and come back later? As for me, the question is how am I supposed to support the game that I love if I can’t even play the game?
It has yet reaches my limit; at least not today but if I decided to stop playing then which mean I’m done with this game. Consider I’m insane as I’ll going to make sure there’s nothing left for me to come back (regardless of donating mats / gold to guild, trash all items / gears, delete all toons, etc). Maybe is because of a thin line between love and hate (is my problem anyway).
Kindly look into this matter and seek for a resolution urgently. Any form action to resolve the problem will be very much appreciated. Thank you.

are you on Streamyx or UniFi? i hear TIME connection is ok, but then you need to have access to that, and the coverage area is very limited.
yea it is sad because sometimes they say is ISP problem, then when we complain to ISP nothing happens because we are only 1/4/8Mbps subscriber and the network is so oversaturated we only have private IP.
then again, have not encountered such terrible DC with other games so i wonder if it is also our ISP to NCSoft server routing problem. if Anet cannot fix this for affected players then i guess we have very few options: VPN, change ISP, quit the game.
but as you know TmNet is the major ISP monopoly here. so yea it has been unplayable again since the latest patch. always Error 7:11:3:191:101. i just log out.
but back then were at least in our country online payments were dreams, we had to buy hard copies. and buying a game from a friend who didnt like a game at age of 15 i dont see anything wrong with that. we did bot a favour to each other. and i understand that someone doesnt want to retrive acount at a new game like battlefield which is very desired at the moment, but to deny an account retrive for a game 15 years old and that only lives from fans, and doesnt have operational internet site. that harsh.
you should’ve said you bought a boxed copy of the game yourself, you don’t need the proof of receipt from the shop you bought from. just show them pictures of the boxed copy/CDs with the serial code. didnt need to mention your friend. send a new ticket.

And sometimes it goes to 1500ms in the latency graph but just for few secs.
The lag is always around the same hours everydays. After 1h or 2h the lag ends and i get my normal ping, 70-98ms. And its just in GW2
you could try a third party VPN, i used Windscribe. connect to one that has lowest latency for you.
at least it lasts only 1-2h for you, and your normal ping is great.
it’s also the IP, 64.25.38.238 had a lot of packet loss for me too, and DC problems, but few days ago i got another IP and seems back to normal for the moment.
the lag spike to 1500ms is enough to cause u to DC with Error 7:11:3:191:101 sometimes, if it cannot sync back after the spike.
same, my ISP won’t lift a finger since it is not their problem, talking to their bot-like tech support will only lead to canned responses and regurgitation of troubleshooting procedures that have no correlation with the problem. i can’t switch ISPs either because they are the only ISP monopoly in my country, we don’t even have the infrastructure for Fibre. so it’s either stop playing Gw2, or try a 3rd party VPN.
honestly i’ve never had this disconnection problem with any other online/multiplayer games, this only happens with Gw2.
Gw2 is also very ping intolerant, a little spike would cause skill lags then error disconnect. and the login server sometimes lose connection while in game, causing BLTC/guild panel unable to load until you zone/log out.
good thing the DC problem got better like 2 days ago, so i can play a little since i posted about it earlier.
ping still goes over 1000ms intermittantly and some DC still today, will check back later. wanted to get others on HoT since there is sale but this is holding back.
lol thought i was the only one. something wrong with our (Malaysia) routing to the servers? i could get connection without DC (although still high ping) with a VPN routed to Canada. but i would like to play without a VPN, as it did not require one before.
used to be able to play without constant Error 7:11:3:191:101 just before the Lunar patch i think, and connection was never as bad as i remembered (played Gw2 since Flame & Frost). am able to play other always online/multiplayer games like Diablo 3 fine though.
It will take so long for anet to fix something like this. I cant pug CM anymore because 98% pugs insist on plank , tree and hill for the bosses. There’s also the kittenty safespot for AC p3 boss, though, Grast can be an kitten sometimes.
If Mister E was right with the leaks, we would be getting Seasonal Fractal Leaderboards which would be like a race to reach 100. Perhaps there could be rewards for completing the full 1-100 too even though you werent the fastest to do so. It’s like the seasonal Fractal reset but is seperate from your current FoTM lvl :P
Has offhand Axe range/radius increase from the old trait been baselined? Why can’t Fortifying Bond replace/swap with useless Instinctual Bond in Beast or made baseline since pets are weak without sharing boons.
GM Honed Axes +Ferocity affecting only main hand is not useful in pve, or pvp either.
A suggestion from the Ranger forum is to merge Trapper’s defense with Healer’s Celerity:
Healers Defense
- Lay a Spike trap when you start reviving an ally
- Grant 10s of swiftness to allies when you revive them.
- Revive speed increased by 10%.
Search and Rescue is still bad, doesnt work on defeated npcs unlike other professions. Besides not sure how it can be improved since it isnt used much.

Seems OP’s personal reward lvl is at 21-30s tier. If you did a 37 or any above your tier you can only get daily chest for your PRL tier (not 31-40 reward). So when you do a 29 you wont get that daily again.
It kinda makes F1 useless, there should be Aggressive / Guard (Avoid Combat mode currently works like this) / Heel (totally passive unless manually targeted).
A section would only work if people use it, like there is all the home nodes/jp port/livingstory AP runs that players sell on open world tab.
Gw1 had a automated filter group for Trade using wts/wtb as tags. It also detects players in the area (same outpost you are in) for missions, something which could work for grouping open world content like Silverwastes/Teq taxis.

Hi, is it safe now to put a skin on a Legendary after the update, has anyone done it and switched it back again? I noticed some transmuted Exotics now have a warning text with the original item’s name when I place it in the Mystic Forge, so it should work like the original item.
