The old LA was OK, but I like the newer one alot more, really beautiful and with all the greens.

I do not think LA will get destroyed ever again.

I’d like to suggest an increasing of the character slots since I’d like to create more characters, hehehehe.
No but for real, ya I may be crazy to have THAT many characters but it’s fun! I would like to create more of the ones I am currently having now. Mostly because I’d like to create the opponent gender since I got no Male norns, sylvari, charr or asura, yet.

So I would be fun to have some male characters except for human ones.
Increase the limit to 80 or higher, or something like that.

Reason why I do have that many characters is mostly like the same reason as I did in Guild Wars, they have each their own hairstyles, looking and armors.
Sylvari only wear Sylvariish looking armors and weapons and vice versa with Charr and Asura..
Norns and Humans are a bit different for me, my humans can basically wear everything since it look best at their models and norns only wear Norn-looking armor, cultural armors and weapons..

This topic has prob been up for a time ago, as I’ve also been discussing this aswell but I find it weird that Separatists and (ghost) Ascalonians are fighting each other.

I mean, they’re literally the same ‘group’, as they’re both anti-charrs, which I would gladly join them, hehe,

Anyway, is it because the (ghost) Ascalonians are too blindly due to the Foefire and see everyone except themselves as ghosts are their enemy?

Why are the commander always like ’’ let’s kill everything in our way, even if it’s our own gods ’’ !?
It make sense if the commander was Charr, Norn, Sylvari or Asura, but Human?!

Humans and the Six gods are something special, something they’re praying and granted blessings from.
Just because the kitten commander and the little annoying Taimi kitten has a theory that Balthazar will take over the world bla bla bla....
It’s one of OUR gods. We just can’t kill our god who has been a blessing for the humans for over 250 years and even more! (GW1~ years aswell)

Just imagine if Jesus Christ or Buddha would come to our world and then we must kill them because we BELIEVE that they are evil?
No but for real....

I am a huge fan of the Six gods, as my favorite race is human and their lore. I just hate how lazy ANet turn something like ... oh I don’t know, a GOD to evil just like that and we have to kill them!?

I simply don’t get it. As the commander (in my case, my ’main’ character is a human) shouldn’t even consider to kill one of our god just like that!!

I was excepting the human characters would be more how Kasmeer reacted when we revealed Lazarus’ imposter’s identity.
Atleast that would make sense!
They are our gods, not a kitten dragon or something we simply need to kill just like that and then happy endings. >_<

If the 2nd Expansion will give us more lore and meeting the rest of the Six gods, I hope the human characters will have their special and unique way, being affected by the influence of the Gods’ return to Tyria, just like Sylvari characters had in the 1st Expansion.

Extra to the LW story:
Otherwise the story was really exciting, map was a well-done as always and the mastery is so much fun!
Cool that we actually got to see Primordus in a close shot but abit disappointment that we put Primordus back to sleep once again....

I do miss GvG and Guild Halls.
Pretty sure Anet has scrapped this idéa just like many other great ones aswell..

I used to love this game, but having nothing to do is really boring. I am taking breaks from the game here and then and I am barely playing it atm.
Been here since BETA, I got 70 characters, leveled up all elite specs except Herald, doing all stories, got worldmap and etc. etc..

Anet is indeed really slow!!! It takes years for them to actually create something and whatever that may be, it would prob only be 2 hours playtime or less.

I kinda regret of playing GW1 and GW2 instead of WoW actually.
GW2 overrall seems dead to me.

I miss GW1, atleast there was an actual and good storylines and campaigns there!

GW2 released 2012 and today it’s 2017, that’s 5 years and what do we have?
Yes we do have the Living Story but that’s so slow in progress.
One Expansion pack, which was really disappointed.

I would love to kill Braham and Taimi off the ’main characters’ team.

Well I am blessed so far, been wanting the 6 gods costumes for years now and finally we got Balthazaar, Dwayna (and Melandru?) Hoping for more!

That would have been nice! Just like the weapon swap, an armor swapper! I love the idéa!

When will we find more about Isgarren and his tower below Garenhoff’s town?

The villagers are thankful and talking about Isgarren (the Wizard) who is guarding and protecting them with the help of his tamed Elementales.

But, when will we’ll actually meet Isgarren and learn more about his history?
I have been wondering this for years now but nothing has been shown up sadly,

I am playing with an alternative character, an Asuran character and I was doing storyline and saw a concept art of the Wizard’s Tower of that chapter, Pry the Eye open.
I haven’t been playing fulled Asuran storylines yet and I actually thought I was going to enter the Tower itself to rescue Professor Gorr.
Sadly, that was not the main story.

After running around from this beautiful town which I haven’t been in many years, I found a gate which I assume could be the area to enter the Wizard’s Tower and the map beside Garenhoff is still censored!

I haven’t been doing TA lately but today I did played the 2 paths and I was quite chocked when I asked my party about path 3.
They said it was removed…
I do believe I’ve done Fyonna’s path once before, 1 year ago I think.
I just wonder , why did it get removed?

Was it because of the Aetherblade’s path add? Why not keep both of the Aetherblade and Fyonna’s paths?

It’s just feel so weird playing TA with only 2 paths… [ if you don’t do the Aetherblade ofc.. ]

Cantha was a very unique Asian theme, nothing over the top or silly.

The music, terrain, characters, everything about it screams awesome. Easily my favorite place to visit in GW1. Dang you Am-Fah and your random rappelling down trying to smash my face

Too bad they removed any semblance of it in GW2… even the small district Divinity Reach that was dedicated to them in alpha/beta.

Finally something different, I just keep getting bored of being the ’goood guys’ all the time and I LOVE the idéa of the flashback(s) of the Firstborns, Asuras capture the Secondborns to experiment on them.
Really love how you can see Caithe and Faolain’s love-backstory.

Although I don’t really see why Caithe and Faolain (+ us players) are being the bad guys... for real.
Remember this was years ago, the flashback were about when the Firstborns were basically had their task to help newly awakened sylvari understand what they have seen within the Dream of Dreams, etc.
There was no alliance between the races over the Tyria.

And for all who is crying about killing those stupid man-horses...
They’ve always been enemies?? I don’t get WHY this is different??!
I enjoyed being at Faolain’s team, along with her Nightmare Court’s members, aka Shadow friends to kill these foul man-horses!!

Hopefully we’ll get to see more about Faolain and Nightmare Court.. ohh and Caithe of course..

Chromomancer —> Cancelled class of the 4th campaign ’’Utopia’’. = Mesmer in HotS.
Paragon --> Nightfall class. = Guardian in HotS.
Ritualist + Dervish —> Nightfall and Factions classes = Revenant in HotS.
Summoners --> Cancelled class of the 4th campaign ’’Utopia’’ = Necromancer?
Monk —> ?? (Guardian)
Assassin --> ?? (Thief)

Cool way to reconnect old professions, as we, fans have requested it alot. Looks really interesting indeed.

Either way, the Sylvaris who is following the Dream will either die or joining the dark side, the Nightmare Court or just be as Scarlet and Aeoriwn (however you spell his name )
Remember the Sylvari in your storyline were he didnt felt or knew anything about the Dream or Pale tree. He was from another "tribute"/clan" of the Sylvari race in another main town of their own kind.
Hopefully the Pale Tree will survive!!

I’ve been waiting for Aetherblade bundles even longer...

Or make them sellable/buyable, and I would literally buy all of your tomes,

GW2 Humans are betrayers for GW1 Ascalonians (also our older characters )

Do remember that the Humans first took Ascalon from the Charr to begin with, so by that logic it’s Charr’s by right of first claim.

True, and even before that it was the Grawls homeplace…
But still, pre-searing Ascalon was the beautiful places in GW1, I’d love to visit it again but in GW2… or similar places…

My guess is that this outfit will prob be an upcoming Halloween Outfit from Gem store.

Tengu:

- Capital city: Dominion of Winds
- Male voice: The same voice as the NPCs uses or the newer Tengu’s Clans in HotS areas. Or an Anet employee.. it shouldn’t cost that much for hiring a VA..
- Female voice: Same as above.
- Main storyline: Should be somehow a bridge to the new expansion as a way to introduce the Tengu as a playable race, and other races are able to complete the same storyline because the expansion’s storyline.
- Background: Maybe small quests or a new dungeon to regain of what happened and why Tengu were kicked out from Cantha and if any Tengus are still alive in Elona.
- Cultural armor: Shouldn’t be too hard or cost too much to design 3 armor types for each weight class.
- Other armors: Render it as male version for all Tengu bodies, as Charr and Asura have.

I just don’t see why Anet refuses to listen to GW2 Community regards this topic of adding a new race. Tengu, as the most requested race has been suggested for years and probably 80% would agree of having Tengu as a new playable race.

Blizzard are able to create new races, adding armors, voices etc. so why can’t Anet do the same?
Yes, before incoming ’’omg blizz is alot bigggger than GW!11’’ replies, it wont matter because Anet CAN create aswell!

This topic has been ever since the very first day and after 5 years we still see no sight of getting a new playable race, whom might be Tengu as it is the most popular requested race among the community.

We still can’t get access to their hometown, Dominion of Winds, as they’ve shut down all non-Tengu races from them.
We still don’t know why and what they’re planning or doing inside their walls.

Here’s my suggestions how Tengu can still make it to a playable race:

1) Female and Male bodies:
We’ve only seen male Tengus so far, and their body is indeed a bird-body so the easiest and best way to create their bodies is to have just like Asura and Charr, sharing the same body structure, unlike Sylvari, Norn and Humans.

2) Personal storyline:
As many, many players has been disagree about Tengu having their personal storyline as it might be too complex to create from zero and onward to Zhaitan’s final battle.
Yes, it might be indeed hard to create this but my suggestion is that they only create Tengu’s personal storyline before joining orders and the rest of that like the all the other races has.
By that I mean, just like Human, Charr, Sylvari, Norn and Asura has their own personal pre-storylines as in Cultural stories.

-ANet could explain why Tengu was thrown out and landed here and what happened to Cantha.
-What Tengu has been up to for all these years.
-Tengu can help and gain trust and respect from the other races as they could join and be part of the ongoing storyline with the Elder Dragons and other threats accross Tyria.

3) Newly content and onward stories: (Living World Seasons --->)
My suggestion here is that Tengu can’t be playable to replay older LS stories or Pact/Zhaitan’s story as none Tengu were part of, except one of two as being merchants or blacksmiths.
Whenever Living World Season 3 comes to an end Tengu will and can be playable in the next LWS 4. (and maybe joining in our new upcoming Expansion... or Expansion pack 3.. )

4) Female and Male voices:
Just like above here, no voices will be recorded from the old Vanilla GW2 Story or older LWS.
Hiring 2 new voice actors need to be done of course but that wont be hard.

5) Armor and sets:
Charr and Tengu has similar body structures, not completely but almost. Yes, ANet has to design all Armor & sets as they could fit to the Tengu body.
Remember that Tengu has no different design of female & male armors. Just like Charr and Asuras.
Tengu will of course also have Cultural weapons and armors, all three tiers.

I think that’s it.
This could be the best way (I’m not saying this is the only or the BEST-best way..) to make Tengu as a playable race for us!
