Well… since Suggestion topic is in the Archived section and I didn’t see other place to put this Suggestion I leave it here at this sub-forum.
A little Back Story: I love Dungeons and I Worked very hard to achive my Dungeon Master title and when I got it was glorious and it use to be a different GW2 where that title really mean something.
Nowadays with all the Dungeon Path Selling , anyone can be a Dungeon Master and the title loose all their prestige.
My suggestion, that I’m gonna make now, is just to put a fez more Titles after the Dungeon Master one, to give a sense of progression and community
recognition to persons like me that play GW2 mostly because of Dungeons.
So right now after we get the DM title we have more 200 points achievements to get without title.
if I’m not wrong (not logged right now) it requires 200 dungeons paths to get all the achievement points.
So there it could start the New titles like I’m gonna list now below:

500 Expert Dungeon Master
1000 Ultimate Dungeon Master
1500 Dungeon King

That is my opinion and I also think that something similar should be added to fractals and no achievement points are needed (thou will be always a plus).
This isn’t a nerf, this is a fix. Deceptive Evasion is useless when you run a phantasm build. Whenever you have 3 phantasms up and you have this trait, you would be unable to dodge. Because it would destroy your powerful phantasm and destroy your damage output in the process.
Have you ever considered that a simple fix that it wouldn’t override phantasms would have also fixed this? Heck, if they did that and did the same for the scepter, it would solve several problems.
It already does that. Clones do not ever override phantasms. They only override other clones.

It is intensely annoying when they impliment something that the WvW community overall isn’t interested in over something that they are extremely interested in. Combining WxP should only take minimal tweaks. I don’t really understand why something so small couldn’t be done if creating an entire map can be done.
It will come but not in this patch. I am pretty sure they are planning how to do it right….hold your horses…

To add something constructive: I’m very excited about the account-wide WXP. I had always strayed from playing WvW on alts because that’s WXP my main could be earning, but with this on the way, I can level my noobies in WvW again.

Adding the WvW requires players to PVP… and there is no way to AVOID not PVPing to get discovery in WvW unless ur server is overpowered and stomps everyone.
If i want to know if an exotic piece of armor or weapon after salvaged has a chance of dropping insignia/inscription i have to read in this forums threads and make research since some named do and others dont even with same stats.
Or am i missing something and it is easier to know?

The problem indeed is: where is the limit? You have to realize that sprockets will become more valuable and that Anet will keep adding uses to them (precursor crafting anyone? What if they add a subcomponent that requires 10,000 sprockets?). So what’s the limit? A chance of empyrial shards? Lodestone cores? Crystalline dust, Azurite orbs, Toxic spores, or pristine snowflakes? Anything is on the table.
Other than that, you’ll always have regrets about buying an infinite tool because the next one will always be better/more efficient/more rewarding. It’s a very deep rabbit hole; you do not want to go in there.

I would like to give you a MASSIVE thank you for what you produced with this update. It has been quite life-affirming for me and here is why.
I have made so many friends (d’aww) doing this content and I have not been logging in every day so much to kill the wurm but rather to join the Teamspeak and hang out with the guys and gals. You didn’t just create a content update here, you actually created a real sense of Community. I know for other servers and guilds it has been having the same effect. It has been bringing players together like never before in order to achieve a singular goal: KILL THE WURM! Even the Desolation server community at large cheers us on and roots for us on the forums and elsewhere. They love that they are part of the same group that is achieving these amazing things. Heck, even other EU servers – our bitter enemies in WvW – cheer for us can see themselves as being part of the harrowing struggle for eternal glory against our worthy foes across the pond!
However, I think its been slightly divisive among the greater community too as many feel it is too ‘hardcore’ and you guys are catering too much to the ‘hardcore’ crowd. This is likely due to the time-commitment involved in being in the right place at the right time and getting in with the right crowds to be part of something really special. Most players are saddened because they feel the content is ultimately inaccessible to them as much as they would really love to be a part of it.
I’d love to make a few suggestions here that may help with the problem.
Underflows: Merge low-population servers together. Will Vabbi-FissureOfWoe kill the wurm today?! Who knows! But they certainly have the player count to do it!
Increase the amount of people willing to put in the effort. Do this by helping those people who ARE organizing these events do it better and more efficiently. Make it fun! Make them ‘feel’ like a commander of an army. More willing commanders means more players to follow them. Expand commander tag functionality.
– Different coloured Taco’s
– Little comments written by said Commander when the tag is moused-over such as a basic information or a Teamspeak URL! (Open to abuse i know)
– Expanded /playercount functionality. User definable range i.e visible and adjustable AoE field to catch just the players the commander wants to count. Count classes individually. 5 Mesmers, 3 guardians, 200 warriors etc etc
– Absolute 0 suppression in /map for commanders. People generally don’t buy a 100g Taco to spam/troll mapchat unless really dedicated. Consistent abusers of the functionality (many player reports for example) can get lengthy gags. At least be more lenient than the current system. I can barely hammer our 2-3 sentences before I start hitting the suppression cap.
- Links in chat. At least to the wiki =/ A commanders #1 job should be to teach first, organise later. You guys need to somehow help facilitate this.
- Player controlled vote-kick system. Afkers dont contribute. 10-20 players vote-to-kick-to-Lions Arch a player and the current AFK timer is brought forward instantly until the player makes an action. I.e they get 1 minute to do something. The vote-kick would fail if the player was active within the last, say, 10 minutes. (Generous in my opinion) I could get my friends to abuse this for free ports to Lions Arch without having to go through WvW or sPvP lobby.
- Make using the squad system for commanders and players alike easy and intuitive. You could make it almost automatic. If a player is near a specific commander, they could auto-squadjoin to that commander. Or maybe just a little unobtrusive UI element like the current ‘Party Request’ pops up that a player can ignore or accept. (Automatically sent by the game and not the commander) Having an exact playercount of how many players are with him/her is extraordinarily useful for a commander and is half the battle when setting up groups.
This content’s difficulty is probably just a teeny bit too far for the moment. I wonder how the 10s Invulernability bug fix will improve things. I am of the opinion that it still wont be enough to have a greater portion of the community enjoy this fantastic content. More people should be able to experience that feeling of accomplishment after days and days of trial and error. They shouldn’t feel like they were fighting queues and back-end game systems more than they were fighting the boss.
Rewards need buffed.
tl’dr: Content amazing. I cried in frustration. Built amazing communities. I cried in joy. The 9th class needs a buff (Commanders)

ANet developer came in after about 20-30min and resetted the map.
We managed to go into the new zone about 15min before spawn and had a blast during the event.

The point of going celestial is mixing with few other things to get a decent crit % (thus the sigil etc….).
That is why if they go on with this nonsense they have to offer an armor switch (and trust me celestial would disappear from the game).

A PvE player is supposed to avoid a 1-2 second 1 shotting aoe.
A WWW player is considered uncapable of avoiding a 5,75 second aoe for half his health.

Why is the cost for Tier 3 Cultural Armor so high?? By the time a character reaches the level where this armor is “useable” and “useful”, that character (or it’s other minions) is already at a level where armor with better stats, higher rarity, and better defense is available at less than a TENTH of the cost of this kitten!!! The Tier 1 and 2 items are at least reasonable for the cost involved and are (usually) better than anything else obtainable————FOR THE LEVEL they are designed for. Yes, getting the achievement is nice, but NOT at ~750 gold——————NO achievement is worth THAT expense!!!

I think you are mistaking value with prestige. Value is draconic armor that every heavy armor class can buy/craft. Prestige is Cultural Armor just to say you have it and are seen in it, I only have Sylvari and Asuran tier 3 left before I get the “Emperor” title. Value you boldly claim how little you paid for such a quality item; prestige is boldly claiming how much you paid for an item, quality or not.
Why do you think they have the “Golden” title? Bank 200 gold and you get golden as an option. They probably should bring that amount up some, maybe 500.
There are greatsword skins (fused) that are over 350 gold for a single weapon. In that light, cultural armor is a relative bargain at 121 gold for a set.

Why on earth would you bring up the real world and try to make this seem like that. Real world is the real world. Game world is the game world.
With that thinking they could start selling upgraded versions of skills in the gem store. I bet your view would change then. They never said current skills were best in slot either.
Because online or not this is a real world. You bought a product, product works as described, end of. So a new product comes out, doesn’t invalidate the original purchase or entitle anyone to a refund on it.

The game world is a game world run by a company that lives in a real world and fills a real world service, our entertainment. You can’t separate these two when discussion decisions made by the real world company in a game world.
Your second part is a rather exaggerated argument. Of course people would be upset of upgraded versions of skills were being sold for real money. If it should ever come to that, I’ll leave the game without a second glance. But what they added yesterday is a far cry from that. The upgraded skills would be game-breaking, where the new pick is not game-breaking.
