I like Scarlet.
The Consortium funds her.
Failure to stop the Marionette before the power meter associated with it is filled results in a massive cannon going off and every single player within Lornar’s Pass being killed. Even those possibly on the other side of the map.
wtf
I know, shame these players have to waste 60c-2S to respawn!
lol, honestly if they’re on the map and not helping they deserve to die.
Well the nice thing about Champion Trains is that you can join and leave them whenever it suits you. Unlike dungeons you’re not making a 30 minute commitment.
I agree that the loot isn’t as good as their popularity implies. On the other hand they do reward a nice balance of loot + Karma and occasional skill-points, T6 materials and money.
I can’t wait for the new update. I don’t care if it’s good. I don’t care if it’s bad. I just want to knoooow.
Honestly, that’s the only thing that goes through my mind come patch day. I don’t care about anything except solving the “Great Update Mystery”.
Otherwise known as G.U.M.

I suggest Anet changes the way their profanity filter works. It´d be much easier if they´d change every word, that is getting hit by the filter, to something nice or ridiculous, like sweetheart for example. And then make that filter permanently active.
God i would love to see those abusive people screaming even more, because they can´t abuse properly anymore lol
Largos please. They are awesome. Tengu is the most likely to appear though.
I don’t understand, I have a Necro and just about every Skill, including every skill with your staff is some kind of Party Buff/Heal.
GM Sheyla (Guild Wars 2 Support)
Jan 19 17:46Hello Davin,
Thanks for contacting the Guild Wars 2 Support Team.
In most cases the support team is not able to replace individual items in situations of this nature. However, we were able to make an exception for you in this particular situation. Please be very careful because it is extremely unlikely that we will be able to provide another replacement like this for you in the future.
You will find the Leaf of Kudzu in your mailbox. If you do not see the mail, simply reduce the mailbox content to allow pending mails to drop into the box. Please be careful to remove the mailed item using the correct character.
Thank you for your patience.
Mesmers are all about being purple and kicking kitten . Get used to it!
i thought the only reason people played mes was for the pink and purple
Sylvari female necro.
Necros are awesome! They do it all! Everyone is jelly!
The only disadvantage I can think of is that there is so little time to play them all!
Would you like some hard cheeze with your sad whine?
This is probably a stupid question, but where do you go to see the discussion of the proposed changes? Under the assumption this is something they said, and not conjecture on our part?
Living Story is going to end by all of us finding out that it was all a dream and that Bobby Ewing is still alive after all!
Are we going to see Bloomanoo and Peneloopee get married in Lion’s Arch? There’s some heavily romantic dialogue between those two at Thunder Ridge Camp.
Bacon, sushi, cheeseburgers…
Stop it! Just stop it!
This thread is making me hungry!
But we haven’t even got to the vanilla custards and red velvet cakes yet.
It would be nice to get some more use out of Seaweed. It’s a level 80 material, and I think it’s only used in one recipe. Of course we’d need fish to make sushi. And what better way to get fish than fishing. I’m going to change my vote from bacon to sushi.
Sushi is vinegared rice.
Fish, vegetables, etc. are all optional toppings that go on the sushi.
And?
So you don’t need fish in the game for them to add sushi. Just Rice and Vinegar.
I never said we did need fish for them to add sushi. I said sushi would be a great opportunity to add fishing, which I something I’ve personally wished were in the game since the beginning.
I’d like it if we could use ascended rings as an ingredient in wedding cakes.
How would this open world guild war affect event scaling in a zone? Suppose 2 guilds of 20 members each are fighting and I’m trying to do an event nearby? Won’t that event be scaled up so that I couldn’t possibly do it, even though the other 40 people aren’t doing the event?
In a game with dynamic events, this is a terrible idea.
Hopefully one of these days the mods will just auto-stop these open world combat ideas.
Yes I do understand that calling out specific Anet employees is not allowed, so I will not attempt to do so. Also I also understand that this isn’t the only post out there doing this sort of thing, but I thought that there wasn’t enough love on page one at the moment, so here it is
I love Guild Wars 2 and still actively promote it to my friends. Why?
It doesn’t have a sub fee. It’s inviting for people who don’t want to compete for loot and experience while playing with their friends. It’s inviting for those who want to have massive, strategised and organized battles (Tequatl, WvW). You get experience doing EVERYTHING in the game, so you don’t ever have to grind out that last bit of XP killing trash mobs. It has horizontal progression for its levelling system, I don’t have to get more experience each time I level up to get to the next one, the requirement stays the same. The devs are actively listening to and implementing player ideas and feedback, even in relation to the living story, both in design and pace (Giving us a loooong break, story driven updates to come with a massive content drop afterwards. Also I found that the Nightmare Tower LS was a MASSIVE improvement to previous episodes, having lasting changes to an area, paced out in a non exhaustive manner and having lots of group and soloable content, with decent rewards.).
The CDI.
The CDI.
The CDI.
Quite cool looking armours and skins to work towards, Legendaries, Ascended gear, etc. 5 Man dungeon system that help you find friends quickly, make memories when things go horribly wrong and give you something to do with your guild, besides missions and WvW and the like. And also, finally, the community that they wanted to make since day one: A friendly, co-operative and helpful community in game while exploring the world, fighting monsters and doing events. A community that won’t mind giving out very helpful advice in LA, people that go and help a player do a minor event to help them as well as get rewarded for it.
There are so many reasons to love this game yet people seem to get trapped in the negative way of thinking on the forums that they don’t see why they still play it anymore. I’m excited for the implementations of the CDI in the future, and I can’t wait for the content drop! Yes, this game does have cons too, but don’t only focus on those when giving feedback, The devs are people too. Imagine this was your game that you had created and worked on for years and every time you look on the forums you see nothing but “Why GW2 sucks” and “Why GW1 was better” and “Omg get rid of this”. This just serves to demotivate and hurt the feelings of those who have put so much hard work and effort into the design of this game. Please guys, look to the CDI’s if you need to learn how to give constructive feedback that is actively listened to, and help make this game better instead of constantly complaining about it.
Put yourself in the devs shoes, and give them some love
They announced weeks ago that the next four updates are Living Story and then there will be a features-only update. They have found that doing both in each update leads to one overshadowing the other, so going forward expect updates to be either new features/balance tweaks or a Living Story chapter, not both.
If the word Berserk has any meaning in GW2, the spec should not have precision because you are at frenzy state. You would be powerful, forceful but not in a clear mind to do thing with accuracy. My 2 cents
