@Gulesave all they would need to do is have a diminishing returns for permancy and yet still let people get a reasonable amount quickly. If the first few gave a good chunk of % magic find you could quickly get to say 100% MF but past that point you only get small fractions of a %. Yes there is still technicly inflation even if each one past a point only gives .01%MF but you’ll quickly reach a point where people wont bother trying to hunt them for more.

Zerg is that hard to fix imo… simply implement a “over crowded” system that decreases player effectiveness when too many players are in close proximity; they do less damage, misses attack and take more damage due to all the chaos.

They arent legendary anymore, just a combination of exotic+legendary that created new weapon.

I will feel cheated if for w/e reason they get any boost/returned to previous status

Transmutation is Anet’s own broken system. It’s a game mechanic they introduced for us to use, and it’s not a player’s fault that this busted kitten system quite literally BREAKS best in slot, end game weapons. This stat swapping functionality should have been in place from the very beginning.

None of my legendaries are transmuted because I didn’t want to risk it, but I don’t blame people who did transmute them. Sorry, but your of view seems insanely vindictive, petty, and spiteful. Your reward for waiting patiently will be getting the upgrade immediately and without having to jump through hoops to get what is rightfully yours, and transmuters will have to do whatever Anet comes up with to fix their broken legendary. Anyone who put in the effort to make a legendary deserves this upgrade. Period.

Do people here not have a shred of common sense and logical reasoning? If it’s purple, it’s legendary. Crafting it took an ungodly amount of time and effort (or money), and nothing’s gonna change that.
Anyone who says otherwise is nothing but the proud owner of a sore bottom. and I’m only adding this remark because of that post above mine.

Good evening everyone.

I have a little gripe with the new Heroic Edition that was released. The upgrades in it are relatively lovely, however none of them were included in the CE pack. In addition, I noticed that the Deluxe Edition has also had these items added to it, yet the price (as far as I’m aware at least) hasn’t changed for it.

Now, perhaps I’m acting a little too entitled here but surely the players that splashed £130 on this game should have access to those too?

Feel free to leave your thoughts about this. If an ArenaNet staff member could find the time to explain why this is the way it is, I’d appreciate it.

Before I close this post out, I simply want to clarify one thing: I’m not begging or demanding anything in this post. I simply want to know why these items weren’t included in the digital side of the CE. Also, I tried searching for this or something similar but came up empty.

To OP: I was bad at JP’s before April. I like to think I’m decent with JP’s now.

One thing I hate about JP: foes, that will kill you so you have both an armour repair bill + a WP bill. SAB doesn’t incur armour damage if you die. And there are no WP’s to pay for. And I like the learning curve. The first level in the first world was really a nice way to figure out how to actually play this thing. While still having some harder to reach places for those that had already mastered it.

And the fact that the “infantile” mode is there too is great. So you can take the easy route to scout the place, then the normal route to finish it off and the new route (the insane one) for those that are, well, insane

And Zaxares, you forget one big advantage of being in there with a group. It’s a dungeon setup. Which means you can leave it and return to your friends. So, if you’re bad at jumping and drop dead in that poisonous water once too often (you have 5 lives), you don’t need to spend your precious baubles, you’ll just get yourself kicked out of the dungeon and return to your friends again

For those of you familiar, you know that the sword Infinite Light has a magic find stat by default upon creation. This is also, to my knowledge, the most expensive non-legendary weapon in the game.

From what I’ve read, all existing MF items will become account bound. Those items listed on the TP will be returned to their owners. I assume this means they will be stuck with them. Unfortunate for them sure, but at last check there were only what…half a dozen of these even listed?

If we make one of these after the change in MF patch, will we have the option to choose it’s stats? What will the new default stats be? Will it be account bound? Will those that already created and listed the item be free to list it again after they change it’s stats?

I’m sure this isn’t the only item on the TP that will be impacted like this with the MF change. For expensive items like this, players should be given a way to make up for their time and cost of creating the item. Sure, they get their listing fee back, but they are now stuck with something they wanted to turn into profit, likely as part of a goal to reach something else.

I planed carefuly my colors and style. In my case is white+light blue (NOT VIOLET)
I am owner of Meteorologicus that now perfectly fits my style (My zephyrite cap has same light blue effect).

Changing colors to violet/purple will ruin everything!

You wont HAVE to buy stones. But if you want to keep your skins and upgrade stats only option is buying stones.
Im guessing you would like to receive quantity of transmutation stones for free with 3/8 update, right? Because, hey its not fair for them to FORCE you to buy transmutation stones to keep your old skin!

If that is the case then apparently being able to customize the look of your char the way you want is considered a “luxury” by Anet.

Because not having p2w cash shop items and monthly sub is perfectly fine with you, but making income with cosmetics is a bad thing. How about i give you 60$ and you come and work for me for free next 12 months, sounds fair right?

So, we beat Zhaitan with fireworks. That’s great. But for the entire living story, we’ve simply been ignoring the dragons. Primordius is still coming up from below, Kaltorrik from the east, and Jormag still descends from the north. Are they really just that slow that we can throw party after party without care? Not to mention we’re likely to see 3/4 months of holiday updates (counting SAB), which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, just… I thought these guys were supposed to be a problem.

Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed many of the updates. But are they ever going to actually matter again? And, if anyone remembers the manifesto, will they ever make individuals feel heroic again?

Then again, they stuck to the manifesto as much as a brick sticks to a stone…

Well, if MF was the reason you were using the armor, why didn’t you make a MF set exactly?

MF was just one of the reason why i got it. It gave me a bit of everything. Now they’re simply removing it without any compensation – something they told they would have done along with the removal of said stat.

hey said long before that MF is going away. Live with I or get another set of armour. Without mf nothing will change towards your damage output, survivability etc. WHY should they give you more damage to compensate for drop rate?

Because they were balanced with all those stats originally – magic find included.
Since celestials were introduced since november – far before they thought about removing that stat. So why should i be glad of a straight nerf on my items, especially without that compensation – that we thought being simply replacing that stat – mentioned above?

No one said you should be glad, but just move on. I am happy they are removing and imo if the MF is one of he reasons you got Celestial gear, it is a wrong reason in my book.

With blues and greens becoming more useful to salvage can we have it removed, an advanced option to toggle the message or have the message on a cooldown.

What about hardcore players or players who want a real challange.

Currently as getting the second best in slot weapons ascended is acquired by crafting. Aka grinding T7 mats (not actually hard).

Can Anet make new hard content like 10 man or 20 man dungeons that offer really cool rewards for tactical and hardworking players?

For the new ascended armor that’s coming soon as well I don’t want to just earn it by doing dailies or crafting I want to earn it by doing difficult content, epic boss battles where my group fails over and over again until we finally kill it and have the best feeling of reward in the game.

People complain about games that are “Too hardcore” are almost like a job and they don’t want a job they want fun. But my perception of fun is a challenging “real” challenging game that offers great rewards for completing really hard content with a larger then 5 number of players (not zergs). Am I the only one who feels this way?

Because if everything is so easy to get and is all aimed towards people who want a free ride whats the point of even playing there’s no real investment as saying “I earned this gear or I earned this loot through hardwork and that really hard boss fight” I cant really say “I earned this loot by doing my dailies or by farming T7 mats”

So in the end I hope i’m not alone here because I feel like Anet is only looking at people who don’t want a real challenge or to people who only have an hour or so to play a day.
