Dogged March and Destruction of the Empowered are godlike. Add to that the +180 Power and Unblockable status from Signet of Might and the Warrior is back where it belongs. It made this class feel like a WARRIOR again.

To be fair, it might be a bit too much to ask for a bugfix within a months time.
We did get Gluttony and Soul Reaping fixed, but that took a lot longer than 1 month after posting about them. Only the fact that it seems to work fine in pvp sounds to me like it cant be thát hard to fix, but ofcourse you never know. Def hotfix worthy though.
But when Hidden Killer got broke, they hotfixed it within a week.
Necro should be totally weird. They should be totally unpredictable. They should be totally illegal. They should have the most creative of builds. Their traits design should allow for much more freedom than other professions. They should be extremely hard to control, just like the MIG-21, yet shines in the hands of a master.
Necro already carry the burden of being “evil”. They already carry the burden of being “illegal”. What’s the point when these evil magic aren’t even all that special? Why not just play that holy guardian or holy elementalist instead? They are more powerful and everyone loves them in town. So what’s the point?
A necro should counter absolutely everything a guardian and a elementalist stands for. Guardian stands for buffs and walls? Necro must be able to debuff 3 guardians at once and disable that wall. Elementalists stands for speed, heal and nukes? Necro must be able to nullify any speed from 3 elementalists, reduce any heal from 3 elementalists and interrupt any nukes from 3 elementalists.

Funny thing is, this bug have been posted on the forum like 1 month ago, is 1 month too much for the dev team? You would need a major bug to require more then 1 month to debug.

I’m actually willing to bet that they’ve known about it the entire time; I seem to vaguely recall that at one point, Deathshroud was essentially our “downed” ability. This 33% Downed HP in comparison to other Professions was probably a by-product that was left when they made the swap to Deathshroud being our Profession mechanic.
End product is rushed, this is the result.

As for the bug, this assumes that it is the only bug that they have to deal with. Maybe it isn’t a priority for them, maybe it is more complex (and thus gets lower priority because it takes too long), maybe they didn’t know about it until recently. Its like how most conspiracy theories are invented by idiots who know nothing about the subject. It happens all the time, people who don’t understand the actual workings of something are always the one to talk about how easy it is to fix it, and then blame others for not fixing it. Like how people blame the President for not passing laws.
Uh, no, I have far more time on WvW or PvE than tPvP. I talk about tPvP the most because I like it, but I’ve done far more in WvW than I have in tournaments.

Slightly off topic, but the lack of gvg is killing this game.
The whole 24/7 around to clock system is also flawed. The system is burning everyone out.
I am seeing it with my own eyes that people are quitting this game left and right.
Killing the game or something you personally miss? There’s a difference.
So… you don’t like the around the clock system… which part of the world do you want to tell can’t play WvW during the times they’re home from work and still awake? Which of this planets communities do you want to isolate from the game and tell they’re not worthy of prime time? That’s what would happen, you know, if they shut down WvW during a certain time of day… you’d be screwing over the area of the world where that’s their prime time.
That’s certainly not a decision I’m worthy of or qualified to make. You?
This is the best PvP game on the market. Since the fix to culling I’m nothing but happy with it. Yes I wish there was more to it — more size, more depth, more things to do — but even as small as it is, WvW in this game is better than anything ever offered in Rift, Warhammer or SWTOR, to name a few.
I still shake my fist at Warhammer launching with “RvR” areas that were literally just empty land masses with maybe one tower per map. Like we were supposed to just go out there and fight in an empty field for 6 months. Ugh.
Yes there’s a lot of zerging but the MM stands for Massively Multiplayer. If I wanted solo fights I’d play League of Legends. I do sometimes split off and do my own thing (setup defenses, man a tower, flip NPCs, attack dolyaks, flip a camp) but I also enjoy running with the zerg because 50 vs 50 is FUN. Even 20 vs 50 is fun, trying to use tricks, flanks and bluffs to beat the 50 with the 20 or, sometimes, trying to outsmart the 20 awesome single-guild players to save the 50 horrible pugs I’m with.
I think Arenanet is regretting not putting more resources into WvW sooner.
All this PvE junk dies off faster than they create it. Anyone still care about guild bounties and all that other PvE nonsense they added? The culling fix brought a ton of people back to WvW and now we’re all wishing there was more content.

Disappointed so little has been done to encourage different styles of play other than zerging.
I’m disappointed so little effort is spent actually balancing the game and making other classes more viable. There’s a reason everyone has a ele, mesmer and guardian alt at this point.
Disappointed the little roaming that was left has all but disappeared. If you find small groups to skirmish with they’re almost always up leveled and not worth the time.
Just going to go back to my Elementalist I think. Haven’t played it in so long because I was really hoping things would change and all classes would have equal chance in WvW. But nothing has even suggested WvW will change anytime in the near future.

Hills are the only well designed keep in this game. It is supposed to be hell to siege a keep. That was the main idea about designing a keep. Not that you could buttkitten the place from 8 different directions.

Once fortified and sieged up, Hills is by far the hardest keep to take in the whole game. It puts SMC and Garrison to shame. They got places for counter siege against everything. Rams, catapults, trebs, nothing really works if the defenders know what they are doing.
The lord’s room of Hills, when sieged up, is also the hardest lord’s room to take in the game. There is only one small chock point. Against an experienced defender that Lord’s room is a slaughter house.
The only way to breakthrough is with 10 siege golems. After that you need to build offensive sieges to slowly kill the sieges inside lords’ room. Then finally you might win.
I have been on both sides of Hills. I found hills is by far the hardest keep to take. Anyone who had fought against a fully fortified Hills with 70 defenders know what I mean.
Do you think Hills needs a nerf?

I was under the impression it was a 1 second duration as well. The main reason to go 100% bleed duration was to get 2 seconds out of it.
It’s one second, it has been since before release. It’s a reason why some people aim at 100% bleed duration.
I just tested it. It’s a 1s bleed like it has always been, and it has no noticable ICD. Way to not know your own class.

While in Mist Form, no new conditions can be applied to you. ALL skills that reduce damage to 0 or make you invulnerable still allow conditions already on you before using the skill to tick damage. This isn’t unique to Mist form….
I can see that Warriors “Endure Pain” doesn’t have that kind of limitations and both skills have the same role. It could be argued that having less armor and life elementalist´s variant should be more strong… but NOW it´s in fact worse.
This is important to note, too. Everything being nerfed on the elementalist has identical counterparts on the warrior, which has better base stats.
Warriors don’t have ANY invulnerability skills. Endure Pain only reduces direct damage to 0 and the attacks still apply their effects (bleeds /burns on the attacks still apply and do damage, stuns/knockback still stun/knockback a Warrior using Endure Pain). Elementalist has 2 invulnerability skills.
Warrior, which is the game’s OP class doesn’t get any nerf, and elementalists, which depend on those abilities to survive, because we don’t have enough life, get nerf after nerf.
Warriors aren’t overpowered in anything except damage in PvE. And Hi…they lack boons, healing and defensive options. Guess what the buffs they got do? I’ll give you a hint: it’s damage.

the most comparable to mistform which is elixir S also got the same nerf as misform.
Mist Form has 3sec while Endure Pain gives you 4sec. Its 33% more of active duration vs 20% more CD. Balanced in my opinion.
ok, you utterly discredit yourself right here. 3 seconds is a long time for invulability and any extra few seconds have diminishing returns. I rather have 3 seconds for 75 sec than 4 sec for 90 seconds because this skill behaves likes a stun breaker. I would like to break my stun more often than be invulnerable.
Stun breaker are necessary for escaping.
The only real reason that warrior are able to move and use utilities is because the skill have lots of cons. Opponents are able to apply conditions and they are able to stun the warrior. These flaws are unfavorable for the warrior who will be subjected to enemy attacks.
Saw a lot of D/D eles giving away bags in WvW. I guess they were testing if they can still facetank 5 people, kill three, MF-RtL away then double-back to kill the remaining two.
I hope they learned that they’re mortals now just like everyone else and learn to adapt.
