Maybe stop doing champ runs in the starter zone? A 5-slot bag is a step up from the 4-slot bags newbies start off with. Seems appropriate for the zone, at least to me.
Plus, they are quite colorful!
Why on earth are you running Queensdale champ train?
Normal chess rules:

Catapult = Rook
Golem = King

I think we need an RP chat before Server chat. This is so that people who are RPing do not flood both local and map chat.
That’s a really good idea! I’d probably check that more than the actual Map chat. XD

Q: Will we be able to see in which ‘Megaserver’ we are? Like in the original game you could see in which district you were in (starting from 1 upwards).

Not being able to port directly into a contestable waypoint will almost certainly increase overall waypoint expenses (we now have to port into the zone first, then port again if the intended destination isn’t contested). Is there a plan to offset this cost, or is this just an extension of the gold sink?
Right now, AP chests have a PvP skin box inside of them that gives you about 6 PvP skins. Which I’ve always just deposited into my PvP locker because I don’t PvP. But on 4/15 those skins will become available for me in PvE, which is awesome.
My question is, will AP chests opened after 4/15 have a box in them containing skin unlocks, much like the old chests did?

Please answer this.
What will happen of living story skins that had specific armor type limitations, like per example the fused gauntlets skin of which you had to choose between the armor types? Will it become open to all types or remain as the armor type you chose it to be back then?
(Hopefully you take my suggestion: make these skins open to all armor types since I know I am not the only one that regrets the choice I made back then and would really like to use that skin on other types than the one I chose and essentially they are not bound to armor types in the first place)
I wonder what happens to the Fused Gauntles when the wardrobe hits.
Will we get the skin unlocked for each tier or will we just get the one we chose? And what if people (like me) kept the Ticket? It would be really awesome to see it unlocked for each type of armor!
- Will Living Story skins be available in the wardrobe if you have the achievement unlocked but no longer have the item? (In my case I trasmuted over several of these backpiece skins).
- Will skins chosen in character creation become available in the wardrobe if you no longer have the skin?

Hello,
I like to know if the new wardrobe system includes race armor like the Human or Norn gear. Does that mean, that my Human thief can wear Norn gear after the patch?
How will the treatment of armor skins such as the Mask of the Night skin and the Consortium shoulders skins work in the transfer to the Wardrobe? Will they automatically be added to the Wardrobe, or will they remain as skins so they can be used without having to use transmutation charges until we run out of however many of each skin we had? (I need to know whether to use my Mask of the Night skins on the characters I might put them on before the patch, or if all 5 of them will remain so I don’t have to use extra charges to use all 5 skins, for example.) Similarly, will the Town Clothes that are being turned into armor skins also be put directly into the Wardrobe, or would it be possible to allow stats to be selected for them like the Traveler’s stats were after those were altered, so we won’t have to spend a transmutation charge to apply stats to originally statless items that we’ve already bought?
…Basically, my question boils down to “will things be added to the Wardrobe automatically, or will they remain as they are until we decide to do something with them that puts them in there?”
Also, seconding DragonWhimsy’s question about transmutation charges; it doesn’t seem terribly fair for people using alts, or for new players, for that matter. Will charges be made more common so the effect on sub-80 characters will be balanced?
Will that be the only Feature Pack this year, or can we expect to see maybe another near the end of this year?
To be a bit more precise, what I want to say out with this is
What is with all of the missing Features, which should basically be already in the game from the begin on and other things, that have been announced to come or should have been implemented 2013 as it has been planned?
Just to name a few things:
- Polymok – Minigame
- Bar Brawls – Minigame
- Shooting Range/Archery – minigame
- Direct X 11 Support/ 64bit Client/ General Game performance Optimizations
- New Legendary Weapons
- Legendary Trinkets
- Cooking/ Jewelry 500
- Scavenger Hunts for Precursors
- Precursor Crafting
just to name the most well known things that have been mentioned in the past
I’d really like to know, if something of that stuff is still on the table for this year.
I know you are not allowed to say anythign exactly about time schedules ect.
I’d just like to know, what Anet plans are with these Features and if anything of that is to be seen also this year, or if maybe anythign under this list maybe has been put onto ice already internally, so that we can stop making up our hopes for somethign from that list.
Will we be able to put exotic sigils and runes in the mystic forge?
Will world exploration give transmutation charges? Perhaps other reward systems might award them as well? And in what amount? Because right now it seems like it’s three times more expensive to transmute items for level 1-79 characters than it was before the feature pack. That doesn’t seem a value for a player’s money given how short a time you keep equipment while leveling up.
If your worst experience is buying the game, why do you still play it and post on forums ?

Most of the skins PvP players have are not exactly expensive in PvE. Either you get a million of them as drops and salvage them without a thought, or they’re the incredibly cheap karma skins from heart merchants, or they’re easily accessibly crafted armour. That mostly leaves us with dungeon armour skins, cultural armour, Order armour and maybe one or two others.
Story dungeons: read the blog post again. It doesn’t say you’ll need to run the story dungeon again, though I admit that’s possible. It does, however, say that this is only necessary to unlock every dungeon reward track at once. Whereas the standard will be that there is a dungeon reward track, which everyone (no matter what dungeons they have done) can advance, rotating every 2 weeks. And you can only advance one reward track at a time, anyway, so having all the reward tracks unlocked isn’t actually that big of an advantage.
Is there a reason you can’t afford such a small fee to travel…?
It’s like a few silver at most >.>A few silver is no small fee. I can’t even count how many times I have died and was forced to log out and back in as I did not have the silver to revive at a waypoint. And don’t even say “but the nearest waypoint is free when you die.” It’s not free if the nearest waypoint is contested and you are forced to choose a waypoint farther away.
I’ve stopped using waypoints. I now walk (yes, I walk. I don’t run.) from zone to zone and forsake all forms of fast travel whenever possible.
Question. I thought if you died and logged out, you would still be dead when you logged back in. One time my warrior died and I logged out. She was still dead when I logged back in the next day. (She fell off a cliff in the Straits of Devastation, surrounded by contested waypoints). >.> Unless it’s because you don’t even have one silver in your account?
I die and can’t WP because I’m too poor to pay and the nearest WP is contested. I log out, log back in and am very much alive and standing in my racial capital city. Often, I have only copper and nothing more in my wallet. I don’t know the game mechanics involved but I do know that it works. I’ve done it numerous times as I had no other choice but to sit and wait indefinitely for some player to come along and revive me.
I see. It must be one of the game mechanics to let you log back in alive if you don’t even have enough to pay for a waypoint in your account. Maybe keep enough for a few waypoints in your account, maybe one gold, or ask a guildie for a loan instead of the long run or waiting for a helpful stranger is an option? It’s hard to believe that there is someone who has played the game for very long and has made only a few copper. If your money is tied up in the trading post for example, your decision to not even have 10 silver for daily expenses in inventory is a decision, not a problem with the game mechanics.

I don’t join guilds. I don’t run fractals or other group dungeons. I spend most of my game time wandering aimlessly around Tyria, living in the moment.
I see that you have been posting on the forum for 11 months now. I assume you have been playing at least some of this time. In all the time you’ve been playing you still don’t have more than a few copper in inventory? You don’t harvest anything? Sell the loot from kills? I don’t run fractals or dungeons either and I’m not so dirt poor that I can’t afford a waypoint. Just selling the drops is more than sufficient to pay for daily expenses. I’m sorry, but your story so far isn’t making sense to me.
If you are playing but not harvesting to recoup expenses or selling loot, then that’s a decision you made, not a problem with the game mechanics.

Dislike the change very much. It just creates an artificial wall everyone will just ended up banging their heads against.
I get the rewards for super high APs aren’t all fleshed out yet, but hate to be punished for that.
account bound WXP
Armor restrictions are staying based on what the Wardrobe post revealed.
Personally I’m hoping that it means Soulbound functionality is removed and replaced with Account Bound.
“Transmutation Crystals can be directly converted into charges, and Transmutation Stones can be converted at a three-to-one rate.”
Wow. I bought a lot of Transmutation Crystals and have 200+ Stones -.-
I think they should gem refund EVERY players that bought Transmutation Crystals so they we’ll be free to re-purchase Transmutation Charges or keep the Gems and go for Stones conversion…!!!!
FOR EACH duplicate dye already UNLOCKED on your account.
Right, after newly unlocking it to the account unlocks via using a new dye, old character dyes will be scanned and matching ones will pump out an unid dye.
Their wording isn’t clear enough. I will need a dev to elaborate or wait until patch day.

The new Sylvari hairstyles are indeed amazing. I really like the rose pigtails, the cat-tail ponytail, and the branch styles. Not too fond of the bark (?) style that covers half the face, but that’s just personal preference, it still looks relatively nice.
The only problem is now I have to choose one. Seriously Kristin, you are making this way too hard for me. I had finally settled on a hairstyle for each of my Sylvari after the last update and now you give me more great choices? Too much!
I really like the way the rose pigtails look, but I’m not sure if it fits with the “graceful but tough guardian” motif I’m trying to give my female Sylvari. Might be a little too “schoolgirl” for the character. But its still amazing looking… ugh. Looks or theme?
And my male is even worse. I’m already using and quite happy with the flower bud hairstyle from last update, but I also really love me some cattails so that new one is really tempting (especially since I stopped using the cattail hairstyle on my female Sylvari due to it being too common). And the branch one also looks very nice on him. Gah, choices.
