Outnumber should be a much more significant buff.
Everyone knows how hard it is to achieve anything when outmanned.
The problem with balance in WvW is that Anet refiuses to balance side so OK…there will be no queues…even though that is the best solution… So here are other things they can do:
1.) Outnumbered shall be for the entire map not local areas.
2.) If you outnumber either side you get NO loot.

What ratio is outnumbered? Is there a minimum number of people? Those can be decided and adjusted, but as it is now 70 to 1 gives rewards with no risk.

A bit late to the party, but someone had commented that there are 4 T2 servers (which there are) so someone had to go to T3. Except YB didn’t go to T3. They went to T4. 3.17% chance of that matchup getting rolled, but hey, everyone gets an exotic drop or ascended armor chest once in a while, right?
There was just really no reason that the #5 server should ever have been matched against #10 and #11, who were 400+ glicko behind them. I think manual matchup intervention may be necessary at some times, like the one the OP mentioned from 2 weeks ago.
maybe give all 3 servers equal supply, winning in eotm doesn’t really mean anything anyways. Nobody there is ppt competitive.

Does anyone who k-trains in eotm do it to help their side get supply in wvw? Absolutely not. Therefore, why should there be a wvw advantage to the “winner.” I’d just drop the supply bonus completely.
I mean, unless you’ve got large ques on multiple maps, which is extremely rare, you can always just hop into EotM to grab the free supply there anyway, if your group is really getting “supply starved”. Having it at the Citadel with no chance to upgrade isn’t a really big advantage, since it doesn’t help with upgrades, and it requires you to always port back to spawn (far away from enemy keeps and towers) to get it, and it’s only available on one map. It’ really not some sort of game-changing mechanic.
On the contrary, the amount it gives along with the fact that it is right next to the wp means that it can be easily used for spike repairs or quick attacks.
Say for instance, Garrison is being hit hard. You can port grab supply and port back when it becomes uncontested to repair/build siege, or send a raiding party to supply up and try and recap some of the points they are using to attack from, and there is nothing that the opposition can do to stop it.
I’m pretty indifferent. The skins are free and I’ll eventually get there. None of the prizes alter my playing any.
I have been having the same problem so far today. I have it in Story mode, pve and or WvW, doesn’t seem to matter. Get Dc’d or massive lag to were my skill buttons are flashing but nothing happens then Dc’d. Then when trying to relog it sometimes takes a while. I also have never had this happen.

I have a lot of DCs and cant relogg into the game after this, because the login-server is not available……i also cannot connect to the website or guildwiki in this times….maybe someone can help me to fix this problems… =( never had this before….maybe it’s a routing-problem and i just need to wait, until my provider fixed it ?

This change is a recipe for disaster. Instead of nice melee fights we will see necro spamming their aoes from max range now. So much skill and fun.

Just removing the gold cost from the upgrades would do a good bit for the economy of those that upgrade the most (scouts and defenders etc). Or might even make it some other cost, like Badges or who knows what.

This is covered in many other threads and you are being unreasonable.
You don’t need map completion, you want map completion. The third place server is usually the red one, so you’re out of luck there. Find like-minded people on your server, and have an event where you take Overlook.
If you’re going to take WvW completion away from map completion, then you should take all of the PvE hearts, POIs and vistas out as well, so WvWers don’t have to do them.
Otherwise, put some effort into it, instead of “waiting” for others to hand you what you want.

Slow is a wonderful condition that will be spectacular for pushing Anet’s esports agenda, however it is doomed to be a disaster in PvE unless all over PvE is getting an overhaul.
The problem since launch with PvE is that enemies have big, strong, slow attacks. This means active defenses reign supreme, zerker dominates builds, only DPS matters, and confusion is useless in PvE. You just burst down the enemies and dodge the occasional attack they dish out (if they live long enough to actually attack)
So Anet’s solution to this is to AMPLIFY the problem with a new condition… what is the reasoning here outside of esports?
Please either announce that all of PvE is getting an overhaul or that this is an early april’s fool joke…
dear gw2 (or dear company), pls be careful with them from a wvw and maybe even a pvp view. we know you can screw up. we have learned to accept that part. you will be too egoistic to say otherwise.
alot of us here can tell you pages of whine about your current ones being spammed here and there. we do not need more things that are out of hand. make sure that the new ones are at least manageable.
I am sorry, after a long break and coming back to see the state of the game, im appalled actually. all you see is zerk zerk zerk. why? because the power creep has allowed for a MASSIVE amount of damage increase, with very little to compensate. So what you get is zerk wvw and who can do the most damage as fast as possible, versus skilled play. why skilled play? Because all you have to do spam damage as fast as possible and hope you outdamage your enemy as fast as possible. one stun, and its done, despite trying to load up on defense. Anet you have made armor/defense moot. I am sure I will be spammed and laughed at, but its ridiculous.
So DPS spike classes (thief, mesmer, warrior, and some eles) prosper why classes that can’t do the massive spike as efficiently suffer.
So terrible imo.
I also miss this feature. I could just add to what I was already selling and not have to scroll through my list. Please bring this back.
I miss that feature also. I used it very often to double check what by last “Selling” price was for certain items. (It’s a hassle to go through long unstrutured lists if you sell many things…)
