Thief S/D too much damaged with survivability they have.
Bunker condition builds – good effective damage paired with good survivability
Bunker guardians – too strong compared to other bunkers, doesn’t require attacking enemy in order to survive(especially bad on legacy mid point, just run in circles) – negates some mechanics (confusion, ele auras, retaliation, reflects)
Came on to post this very thing. My problem with warr.s is they ARE the best at everything. Best weapon selection, Best armor class, Best HP. pool, Best mobility, Best dps. Best zerg. class, Best HP. regen. maybe or not maybe not Best roaming class but come on. Now some things are obvious for a warr. class like heavy armor but all together they have everything but stealth. Now having said that I think the regen and mobility needs a change for sure, idk how many times warr.s have just run away when they get low, just to come back 20sec. later after cool downs and regen make them full again. As a class with no speed boost, but one, and no stability, its impossible to kill a warr. unless I can spike and get lucky. Ive also been in WvW and had Warr.s with so much regen. I cant harm them. even with 3200 power and a 60%+ crit chance. (just came from WvW where a signet warr. was fighting us 9 v 1 and still got away after about 30sec. of fighting)
I require another 100 cores to finish my sunrise lol i’m buying them and promoting them, its taking forever but its cheaper than buying the lodes
One of the things that always felt off to me about Thieves is that Stealth is not a good defensive tool, which leads to major survivability problems. It functions much better as an offensive one. Shouldn’t it be more balanced? They should probably reduce the effectiveness of a lot of the Stealth attacks and give it some better defensive mechanics.
Also, anyone with a brain can see that warriors do too much too well.

If yes isn’t it the case of all professions except mesmers necro & thief ?

In the end are you saying that warrior weakness is that

i just watched the stream and my mouth dropped open when i heard someone say warriors are weak to conditions. WTH? warriors deal with conditions better than any other class in the game. not just through stance, cleansing ire, dogged march, shake it off passive+active, but also through high passive regen.
If rangers had healing signet, they’d have nerfed it by 30% instead of 8% and buffed the heal up 3k…
I gave up on anet’s ability to fix this game (rangers especially). Most of the stuff they said in the CDI made no sense whatsoever. They prove time after time they don’t know the basic mechanics of their own game. Honestly, I’d stop worrying about it because nothing will get done about it anyways.
They have a balance patch every 6-7 months for god’s sakes. What other game waits so long when you have many, many people on the forums telling anet what is wrong and giving NUMEROUS suggestion on how to change it.
So… yeah. That’s just my thoughts on this whole thing. (Just do me a favor and don’t tell me to quit the game, I still like it, its just frustrating that they can’t fix anything after so long. It’s literally been 2 years and there has been practically no new content other than the odd face, hair, healing skill, and a few other odds and ends…)
Also, does anyone else realize that the only thing anet does in any sort of timely manner is fix the bugs that threaten the games economy?
Nothing is done about actual classes, but when some new thing pops up that makes players a ton of gold, anet nerfs it… I know the reason behind this, obviously they want to make more money from players buying gold, but I thought that this game wasn’t supposed to be pay to win…
Also, they remove any negative feedback they get. This is the most irritating thing. In ends up slowly building up more and more and they don’t seem to realize that either.

Condi needs a serious nerf in WvW. It’s ridiculous that some classes can apply more conditions than you can cleanse, basically killing you in less than 5 seconds. There’s so few ways to counter play that and all of them involve a battle of attrition, which isn’t fun.
It’s not so much the individual conditions themselves, but the combination of several conditions together. Confusion by itself is fine. Torment by itself is fine etc. But Bleed, Confusion, Poison, Vulnerability, Weakness etc etc. all applied at the same time is stupid. Especially with the randomness of cleansing and the ease of re-applying the conditions (seriously needs to be an icd on conditions like confusion and torment, say… 30 seconds, in line with most cleanse skills)
Yeah yeah, this has been talked to death and several threads have been made about it, but even so, we need to keep complaining about this until it gets fixed.

Mods this is NOT a matchup thread. Please read thoroughly before ignoring.
Currently in Tier 2 nobody plays anymore. On reset we had 0 queues on any maps. The tier is dead (see multiple other threads about why it’s dead).
Here’s the problem: Tier 2 will continue to be tier 2 because there is nothing that will change the rating. With the current matchup system tier 2 servers will continue to fight tier 2 servers and have artificially inflated ranks because there is no one to drag them down (see collapse of SoR).
People can hate on matchup variance as much as they want when matchups are complete blowouts, but when multiple servers are ranked higher than they should be, there is nothing else that will fix that besides matching them up against lower (actually more populated) servers.

Rewards for defending
Rewards for defending is troublesome. It’s hard to implement a system that could reward you for a bit more passive playstyle while not giving it to bots. Dolyak escorting used to give a reward, there were armies of bots escorting them.
Matchup variety
Season 1 or the current match up RNG, did you miss those? Variety is good, but lets be honest. The coverage of all the servers is so diverse that there is usually only 3 servers that can compete with each other and the rest is either getting steam rolled or being the steam roller. They tried more balanced match up system in S2 and imo it was better than s1, even if it gave pretty much the same match ups all the time.
Blobs
Sad fact that supply is the key to victory and the more players you have the more supply you can carry with you. They would need to change a lot with WvW to prevent this.
Just wanted to point out a bit of stuff. And yea, I assume threads like these are one of the reasons we don’t see that much communication between devs and community. People see something, they make assumptions and hold into that and paste maybe a sentence and hold into it that they can use to hammer the Devs for their “mistakes”.
I for one wouldn’t do much communication with a community like this. For realz.
