Starting in the 1960s, the government provided processed cheese to those on welfare. The orange block was a combination of a variety of cheeses and emulsifiers that didn’t taste (or smell) all that great. As much as I hated skyhammer I will admit I absolutely loved the hammer countering the dodges infinity frames. Like doing a somersault mid air into a big attack would make the game more skillful when the purpose of dodging should be moving quickly out of harms way.

Everything you have listed has already been commented on by a rep in one form or another months ago if not years. It’s just old news and sadly nothing has changed.

Skyhammer – They want a map voting system for it. They will not delete it.
2v2 etc – They want to keep it unsupported. They want to pursue the 15 minute 5v5 model.
Bank – They want to add it somehow sometime..
Templates – They want to add it somehow sometime..
Modes – They have it and it was leaked and they will add it sometime..
Turrets – Actively reacting to my passives since before paxsports
4v5 – The only thing they can do is add a working ready button to avoid afk from start that will most likely add considerably to the queue times due to population size which reflects from all of the above including lack of ladders.

Gives us the template system that has been mentioned by the devs to be in the works for months now.

My guess is the spring 2015. The system was in place this spring, but didn’t come with the ability to save real items. Management likely wants a finished version instead of a tiered release, and also pass the sales team to monetize similar to character slots.

Still.. years.. from templates to ladders to modes to vetos.. ..to a working ready button..

Exactly what I’ve stated in the past and one of the biggest counter statements to what this game was advertised to be without casting bars. Besides don’t act like the asura problem wasn’t compounded by adding particle spamming gear brought on by the gem store and the dip in pvp player population needed to be replaced by the “legendary” pve population.

Let me tell you the real legendary weapon for spvp was a zero added particle spamming dhuumseal weapon. Now its all about the more particle spam you have the more camouflage you have.

This isn’t about me being better at the game from this option, this is about what has been said by both bottom and top players alike since beta.

Seems like a QA driven thing. If we go on about how great it is, it could be rolled out to other game modes.

It won’t be great if they try to use it as a ploy to entice players to reroll. The point you brought up to see “everyone standardized” in a match needs to go live. Releasing an option to standardize only 5/10 players in a match I see as a joke.

As you can see from this thread the feedback is already mixed though, and thats not going to help things progress as quickly as some of us would like…

Will it be shipped 1/2@ss’ed for a deliberate reason?
Why not make the entire teamQ standardized?
Why even make teamQ and not soloQ standardized if the tournaments for the team players will not be standardized?

Arenanet is having their infrastructure handled for free by third party enthusiasts that determine seeding based off of opinions. “Opinions” meaning the game after two years has no system in place to actually live out their esports dream.

Why would a previous winning tol team not be seeded first in the finals for the next tol tournament in a game that outsources their infrastructure for free?

In my opinion this whole thing is about in game accessories for dress up dolls. Some people just want that dreamer bow. Must be a broney thing wanting a unicorn dancing on rainbows I guess.

PvP rewards?

A pvp “reward” box takes me about 50 mouse clicks to open, salvage, vendor, destroy, or TP all that crap. For this pvp player there are no pvp rewards and only a lot of mouse clicks for less silver than I received from the match I just played. Even the skill points and levels are not rewarding since a vast majority of the added traits and heal skills have not been worth using, and five 10 luck consumables versus one 50 luck consumable is the worst.

The perfect pvp reward for me would be more gold with less clicks.

I’m fine with them fixing the holes in the maps in WvW and sPvP, since those can be exploited. However, I wish they’d leave the holes elsewhere. They’re fun to mess around with.

There used to be one big mega map that housed all the pve fractal maps you could explore. Used to be able to swim through a tunnel at the beginning of the water fractal map though I first discovered it by falling off of the colossus map. Gw2 with skydiving it was such a shame they patched it up. That was the most fun I’ve ever had in exploring Tyria.

The point of hotjoin is for players to be able to play without the commitment of arenas. You don’t have to stay in the matches. You can play for whatever time you have.

This is correct and any new game mode we get will need to fit the ~15min 5v5 hotjoin accessible standard.

Remember the 8% shave to healing sig though? Only to have nearly every warrior even at the highest level still use it?

So this bird will die faster, it is still a bad design imo.

When will the warrior’s healing signet have an active effect that is better than its passive effect?

The most entertaining thing about watching a spvp tournament are the shout casters trying to describe to the viewer what the smallest scaled asura’s camouflaged by particle clutter are actually doing.

Well said. I don’t think the weighted RNG is being ignored. It is an elegant solution that both caters to the masses and doesn’t ignore the minority.

*: You are presented with map and gametype, one chance to veto, next map is rng and un-vetoable.

This is best imo. I’m assuming new game modes won’t have a separate queue and this would aid in making sure less favorable modes/maps e.g. skyhammer can be skipped or not skipped.

I would prefer a map vote feature to be an improvement over the total RNG we have now rather than a solution to an atypical conquest map.

Build templates for what we have now is better imo.

Besides, with weighted votes there is still basically total rng and the maps chosen to be voted on are random as well. Once this game becomes closer to having 20 maps then a better need for a voting system arises. But, there isn’t 2-5 maps with the same primary and secondary objectives to vote between.

Unless new primary objective modes will be voted on so you don’t create separate queues?

I dunno I feel like this thread is more about putting in a new feature, which could as a secondary part of this thread disenfranchise quite a few players
(33% voted to keep skyhammer in Soloque, this is not a small amount)
It’s not really about forcing players to do one thing or the other..

I just don’t think it really matters since I can join teamQ solo to avoid that map. If 9/10 people voted to skip skyhammer on a match, but a weighted roll from the minority prevented the skip then you are full circle with players joining teamQ solo to avoid that map.

NC Soft forced the release date and gw2 spvp was shipped with practically nothing. It was in 2012 when qualifier points were added as a makeshift ladder seeing as how in 2011 anet said it would have ladders but in 2014 anet asked its players how to make them.

I hate getting five 10 luck consumables from chests versus one 50 luck consumable.

To be frank, it is a reason why us in TCG does not run double hambow. 1, it is cheesy. But 2, it is not OP. It is surely counterable. I read a few comments here about “because that class or spec didnt reach finals obviously it needs buff or what not” or “look at final teams obviously WAR needs nerf”.

I bet they could have pracced with only 1 WAR also and probably hit the finals anyways.

People seem to be so harsh at judging a mere 10days since a huge patch that made a lot of impact on both gameplay such as theorycraft.

I can tell you already that I didnt see anybody using the most “OP” things yet on ToL NA. We The Civilized Gentlemen didnt find our complete perfected line-up with builds yet. We already noticed a lot of other things that we didnt even use in the EU ToL just a few days after.

I’m simply stating, stop being so drastic in judgement and basing all of your ideas off of this ToL in NA. Some talk about buffs and nerfs like thats the answer to your issues. Its fun how people just cant stand maybe not being as superior as you they think they are. Simply train with mates and become better instead of shoving the NERF-towel into the winners face.

+ 1 to you ROM, wish there were more people with a clear head about these things.
