-Foot in the Grave – Totally countered by a single knockdown.

-Minions upscale events/champions as tho they were a player each.

-Projectiles – Don’t hit some objects/can’t brake roots on your feet etkittench Form – (And other transforms) broken auto-attack.

- Interact in DS – Can’t res/stomp/press objects while in DS. (Except for ‘exploit’ play of doing it in the upload que/same time as you enter DS)

-DS Weapon Damage – DS only runs off mainhand weapon+Weapon Swap bug added and left. Meaning swap to staff, before entering DS is a ~60% DPS change.

-Siphons – Damage from Power stat, ignores all mitigation like a condition. But is direct damage. (Not sure if this is a bug, or a ‘cheap’ feature as the heals side is soo kitty)

Fitg is buggy because of bad engine design, not true profession bug (same reason why you can do ds stomps right noe)

Siphons always did true damage (and even ignored some total invuls), intended.

DS weapon scaling adds actual gameplay depth (in a non twitch resource management mechanics way).

Projectiles shoot based off camera position, again more of a engine than profession bug.

I didnt and wont mention others because their “bug” list is either true or removed and implemented as “feature” by devs.

Necros easily get enough HP not to need more stability. And honestly, this post boils down to you not liking the strengths and weaknesses of necros. Play guard if you need more stability.

Except that weakness to cc isnt a listed necro weakness, as a matter of fact it wasnt, they were bloody immune to it during the beta with DS ignoring all cc (but it still interrupting currently cast skills) and before that there being a trait which plain made them utterly immune to all control removal effects.
MOBILITY is a necro weakness, COOOLDOWNS and cast times are a necro weakness, Lack of IMMUNITIES/blocks/dodges/vigor is a necro weakness.
Getting chain cced isnt, same as warriors should be weak to condis, but arent because of meta whiners like you.

I just have to shake my head when some poster here incorrectly state that weakness doesn’t negate any thing. It very literally completely negates ferocity and any trait that procs on crit.

Us necros not only have the ability to completely negate conditions, but also turn the damageback on the oopponent for additional damage. These are facts, not opinions.

The ability to literally negate conditions and cries is very strong. To suggest we need to have the ability to fully negate CC as well Is not reasonable.

A) dont put us necros because you are probably something like a 5k ap player with 10 games
B) Unless you mean underwater, no… we have a strong resistance to conditions, but so do guardians, eles, now warriors and if built right mesmers and thieves.

@zapv.8051 We are the best at aoe condi just because of epidemic.
We are actually kinda meh in terms of total boon removal strength, but we have it in a strong burst (which means nothing in pve and is destructive as all hell in pvp)
Our single target condi damage is still the best, tho engies have a more destructive teamfight kitten nal for pvp (thus why the very old now engie+necro meta was a thing)
We do have quite a nice amount of out of combat movement speed, nice and balanced
As for countering cc, its not so much that we cant, but that what does counter cc for us makes us worthless in a utility sense (even a 3 stun break 30sr necro does a lot of power damage, its just that it doesnt help actually get it off with our cast times+even worse team utility than normal).

Also i dont think you can put power builds as another issue since they arent, its said sustain and resistance to cc which are just some factors of power builds, we got overall ok scaling and high base damage just atrocious total dps over longer time frames because of cooldown+cast time (just one is enough *cough 8-20s skills which do more than WoC and WoS together in same time frame).

Deathshroud is toxic

as a pvp power necro i think it would be ridiculously OP if we could heal up while in deathshroud,
deathshroud is already pretty unbreakable for me while swarm is ticking since the crits grant life force, to think that i’d be constantly getting healed during that is just ridiculously OP.
with the right spec you can bunker in deathshroud until your heal comes off cooldown.

my power necro build is already extremely powerful and extremely easy,
letting us heal while in deathshroud would just be godmode.

You know rabbits should not comment on pvp balance, which you must be if you wanna say that power necro has any function with engie, ranger and thief existing for ranged builds.

Are you saying that these classes counter ranged builds? Or are you implying that there is a ranged thief that can actually kill a power necro? Either way I’m not sure that a ranger or a thief is much of a threat to a well played power necro in conquest pvp.

Im saying that for power builds which rely on keeping range and kiting, those professions are not only better, but also run over (assuming 1v1 with equal skill ofc) your typical power necro builds. And if you take power necro as a melee *starts playing ping pong against a wall *, one must assume you didnt do even close to enough pvp to understand why that doesnt work in conquest.

Dhuumfire explanation/buffs/nerfs, etc

Important note, the other buffs we got back then were needed (and still had counters like stability denying over 60% of a condi necros burst even in a dumbfire terror setup). Then most of them got nerfed for said dhuumfire back to no value (tshackles being the only unaffected one). Post feature patch we are at a net weaker point than prior to dhuumfire.

So what are the problems of necromancers in PvP?

1.) Low mobility.

1.) Increase range of Flesh Wurm and make it exchange place with the necromancer on reactivation instead of killing it. If used with poor positioning the Wurm will quickly be killed. If used to get out of a bad situation the effect will be nearly the same as now. For balance reasons maybe increase the summoning cooldown.

Flesh wurm is the wrong place to look.. well mobility overall is a bad place to look for, the entire kit necros have (both condi and power, much less for hybrid but they butchered em with feature patch changes) dont even work with a high mobility playstyle (unlike mesmer or ele setups for who its core). That brings the issue to~

3.) No sustain. Necro is supposed to be a sustain class according to anet, but their lack of boons(most importantly vigor) combined with point 2 of this list make necros a dangerous choice in longer fights.
4.) Toxic gameplay. Playing against necromancers is 100% anti-fun. Winning against one doesn’t feel like an accomplishment most of the time while losing to a necro feels like being cheated.

3.) Flavorful access to vigor. A prime candidate for this would be the Spite 5 point trait(former 25) siphoned power. Proposed new trait:”Gain vigor when you remove a boon”(with internal cooldown of course). Maybe a buff to lifeleech trait base values but addition of an internal cooldown.
4.) Remove fearstacking. Also maybe don’t make fear duration increase with condition duration, it simply is no fun to be feared for ~4 seconds just because the necro you hit had nightmare runes equipped. CC chaining someone should be at least somewhat reliant on team coordination and not just spam everything. Maybe lower dmg of terror and add more utility like a 1sec chill at the end of the fear.

These two go hand in hand, necros need the cc (and chain ccing) to survive if they wanna keep mobility a weakness. And its not really a problem unless its a necro fighting necro, since… well you got quite mandatory skills which double as stun breaks, stability+ another effect on every profession except thief who are efficiently immune to us (Not to mention that melandru runes exist (which in all honesty should as they used to, count with both parts for necro fear, first applying cond duration reduction then cc reduction (reducing a 2s fear to a 1.1s fear).

The entire sustain problem could be solved in a lot of easy and confirmed balance ways:
a) Self healing works in DS/Shadow form vampiric priests
b) Life stealing is % max hp (low like 0.5%) on hit, but mutually exclusive/EQ and WoW, countless examples
c) Exiting death shroud heals the player for around 15% of the damage delt to LF in the last 5~7s/Death Strike from DKs

Important things to note here tho are: internal cooldowns are never balanced when talking about active sustain (not burst healing, actual sustaining a fight/tanking), they are either broken to the point where people max their RNG (hell same thing was here in GW2 with the ghost strawberry leeching) or so worthless that noone bothers.

Second, necro vs necro ends up being a timing fest and who doesnt get their skills obstructed, much less for power builds, but very obvious for condi, this shouldnt be a thing, sadly i dont have any ideas for it nor a good example for such a situation from other games.

As for downed state my only comment is, 1 should be canceled on retarget (spamming esc is annoying) 2=PBAOE fear of of 450 range making it a point decap like guard 2 and giving 3 a aoe targeting.

TLDR: Make melandru runes reduce fear with both parts, stability is and should continue being the last condi on corruption priority list = condi cc is fine
Sustain is kitten and will be, but mobility and vigor aint the solution.

Killing/getting killed by a condi necro “doesnt feel right” because of obvious weaknesses and strengths, if you are dumb enough to not be ready or know the counterplay, you feel cheated since you dont have playroom in all builds that are and were popular since the release of GW (yes its a side effect of the meta, not a balance issue), while murdering a necro when you know their weaknesses is kinda facerolly since said weaknesses are bloody obvious.

Your experience with Spectral Grasp

In general it seems like there are not many pull skills in the game (thief Scorpion Wire/Get over here! is the only other one I am aware of) and while SG is kind of a funky skill, it can really catch people off guard.

Actually there are quite a lot of pulls for how strong (and buggy) the effect is, guardian GS5, Mesmer temporal curtain active, path of scars (ranger offhand axe), ele magnetic shield, Engie toolkit magnet and their downed 2 skill.
Funny enough tho, temporal, magnet and GS5 ignore typical rules and scorp wire is like 40 times stronger (as in it pulls over way bigger things) than grasp.

As for personal hit rate id say around 70%, but thats because i mostly use it as a melee knockdown…

I just think it should be the same as the condition system. The most recently applied boons get ripped first, then down the line. This way people can’t just throw on stability at the end (means reactive stability will always get pulled), however with actual intelligent use they can still try to cover it and things will work just like they do now. The reality is that there needs to be the same play that we get for conditions, which have at least a marginally better system than the boons do.

If not that, then they need to all follow the same priority system, and ANet needs to release it.

You know, personally a priority system allows more control and more importantly, counterplay.
And again, honestly and personally, a enemy covering their stability vs a necro would be good counterplay once necros get their attrition position, stuff like ripping vigor protection and fury are also high on the list.

Wall of Reflection has no cast time, but can’t be completed under CC or performing another skill.

Corrupt Boon was buffed to be made unblockable.

So, two of your points are not accurate.

Point 1 is because it had a cast time, but it was not a really accurate representation of its spawn/caused people to misstime their reflects.
Said ages ago give CB a 1/2 cast time but remove its projectile nature, easy~

Just to mention: it arent just exceptions, necros got the highest total healing power ratios on aoe in game (not counting blast finisher potential since its not really related to healing power, but blast finisher count), Blood to power is good enough (worth the slot), would say same for vampiric if they beefed up base damage and healing by around 15~17, btw its still bugged, tooltip saying on power build to deal 36 and heal for 33, but it actually does just 33 and heals for 32.

Strength of undeath would have been better if they kept it power for every 10% life force (but beefed it to 15 instead of 10).

The current trait ideas are fine. Each tree has a theme, although some are loosely defined and need fixing, and certain mechanics associated with it. For example while Death Magic is partly the minion tree, Spite has +minion damage because its the damage tree, and blood magic has the siphon trait because it is the siphon/healing tree.

Same with staff, death magic holds the general staff traits to make the base weapon better, spite holds the trait to give more damage, and soul reaping has the LF trait, because those two traits fit those trees.

Well, thats kinda not true. Stuff like minion condi pull, spectral attunement, focused rituals and mark of revival (both being a mark thus going into DM and like most downed state related traits going into vit/hp or toughness/x trait lines).

Armour of Earth on ele provides stability and prot for 6 seconds. Id like to see stability on Spectral armour, but if thats not possible then I hope to see it on a new utility slot eventually. Anets current design philosophy is really hurting the necro atm, no access to many things every class needs and has except for the necro.

That would be fine if necro had good enough compensation (you know just how warriors have full 2+ power ratios on main skills pre 2s instead of 2 pre 3 or 1.5 pre 2, just how mesmers have free mass body aggro and teleports instead of swiftness, thieves got immunity to chill and infinite dodge in exchange for… ok that was a bad example).
You know like cc immunity, a cap on damage taken, condi transfers on basic attacks, etc via advanced traits.

I think lengthening the stability granted by Well Of Power from 1second to 3seconds would be a reasonable enough change. As is, 30 points in to Soul Reaping for a few seconds of stability is ridiculous imho. I understand that as a Necromancer we’re the attrition profession, but stability is plain and simple something every profession needs access to. Not all of us are power builds and unless you want 0 duration as a conditionmancer you’re not going to spec 30 in to Soul Reaping.
So although I can understand the reasoning behind not giving us easy access to stability, it still doesn’t change the fact that the access we do have is in kind of a silly place.
So my suggestion would just be to increase the duration given by Well Of Power. Or maybe even it grants 1second per-pulse.

Actually WoD and WoP just need to be instants thus WoP not needing stability (as most now stability covered stunbreaks), we just need a) DS to go on cd on entry not exit with current foot in the grave or b) Shade

And no except for mm we arent in a weird place.

It may be our single best defensive utility. But it is by no means overpowered or even that good lol. Id take stability instead of prot anyday.

The only reason to slot a spectral would be for the stunbreak. And if I want a stunbreak ill take spectral walk as it has the same cooldown + swiftness and the ability to teleport. Which is far more useful than 6 secs of prot which you can get from other sources. If spectral armour was a stunbreak + stab then there would be a genuine reason to take it in pve, pvp and wvw.

Well in pvp Sarmor works as a pseduo immunity for 1v1 fights, most of the time at least; tho even a 40 or bloody 60s stand your ground is better than it. Id love to see a return of the 3% pre hit no icd spectral walk tho.

Asura Animations & Visual Effects are Broken

Can we also mention the much bigger problem of fov and zoom? We know that both the camera can be put in a no object clip mode (aka going with the rules of every game ever of “whats behind the camera doesnt exist, unless its a mob, till you touch it”) and that you can both change the zoom and fov to very high without any performance drops or texture tiling, fisheye only happening if you go over 115 fov (not happening at all on widescreen monitors) and the bloody art still looking as amazing as ever (actually better because you dont see the plethora of low rez textures which they love to use as half transparent overlays on objects in the world).

GW2 needs a basic PC game patch just as its “endgame” needed the wardrobe.
Or allow modding of such options.

Fractals thus if condi, do the meta already carrion scavanger build.
Rampagers takes too long time to get rolling over zerker, but does less in terms of anti-armor damage/vs mai mzerk and co than siphon condi.
Otherwise zerk/soldier/valkyre (and especially if well of blood)/zealot, assassin can be a option but it seems dumb with Deathly precision being a trait that exists.

Fun fact, almost all bow projectiles start in your hitbox, but all “magic” projectile blobs (so ele staff 1, DS1, mesmer clone rubber, guard 3s orb) start outside of your hitbox. The important necro exception is UW DS1 (which continues to be our best auto attack, having perfect hitbox detection, starting inside you; which now causes a bug of self applying vuln; having a responsive cone of attack and cast time with ok damage and scaling)…

IMO: Ele (both a lot of boons and destructive for em)>Guard (same as ele but they are a bit safer even without boons)>Warrior (dem fear from stability) = Ranger (same) >Thief (they can steal very strong stuff, but against any halfway proper thief build, the few boons you can corrupt dont do much, still any advantage against them is good)>Mesmer (repeat after me, signet of inspiration)>Engie (they arent as reliable on boons as one might think , even the elixir builds, ccing them out of combo fields and they got automated response, which still makes condis barely stick or for less than you can hover over with melandru and lemongrass)> Necro while not in transform (if in stransform up on warrior/ranger rank).

Yeah eles have a ton of modifiers and i think thats one of the reasons they dont want to fix lingering elements otherwise it would create unholy amounts of burst. I havent tested it myself. But i know a number of ele mains who have and have been asking for this to be fixed since release. Ele is a good example why not having traits will tank your dps seeing kitten much comes from those flat modifiers.

Its probably some other factor that is triggering the damage increase (its probably bolt to the heart causing the difference or maybe vital striking?). Im curious though so i think ill test it later myself.

The problem is, golems dont start at 40% for bolt to apply… maybe its vital but doesnt that work no matter the attunement? Whatever, yes thats why i mentioned Ele and Warrior, since they have truly big modifiers or boosts trough traits, Thief and mesmer could count, but thats more specific specs and/or using unusual skills for a higher effect than their chun lee kick (aka spam simple but kitten powerful kitten).
Necro has a modifier in each line which balance uptime and power (20 from close to death for half the fight, 5+ condis, but with variation from target the weak to flat 5% for pretty much the entire fight from undeath; yes it can be down for a bit, but seriously, with real power weapon setup thats not gonna be that way for even close to long enough in comparison to getting either a full life transfer off or another life blast).

No but ele damage bonuses are mostly attunement specific… so swapping attunements which is core to get over a 50% bonus is cruical… stuff like piercing shard, air training, etc.

Those arent affected by lingering elements. Its a common complaint about the trait.

You sure this was tested recently? Since you can easily see getting 1.6 vs 1.9k hits in pvp from shatterstones based on if the streamer didnt/did swap air/water or not. Either way Ele still have stupidly high amount of basic multipliers (40-50 depending on setup without going shards or 60 while in water with 5/0/5/4/0) not even counting scholar runes.

Lingering elements doesnt effect damage modifiers.

Anyway my original point was that a class using dps gear will almost always out dps a class using sub optimal gear. So its not surprising that the op did more damage than the warriors and guardians in his group.

Not really true. But its true that the chance of screw ups in solos is much greater. A lot of solo’ers do exploit the hell out of instances. But I really wish you wouldnt make assumptions that all of them do. I know a number of players who can consistantly solo arah p2 in under 30minutes. And others who can solo other dungeons in other impressive times and do so daily (this was before the patch, now its even easier due to higher crit damage in downscaled dungeons).

As an example, in the past when my guild actively sold arah we often complained about the number of sellers who sold for cheaper and undercut us while skipping lupicus or going underwater to completely exploit the entire path while afk. Our guilds requirement back then was to be able to solo lupi so it was an unwritten rule that if you skipped lupi you would be removed from the guild (happened to one new guy since ive been in the guild). Those of us who still sell, tend to do it fully legit. Pugs exploit more than most sellers these days anyway.

Also yes, i know that people do a fair solo P2… but i also know that they then skip 90% of the trash, which isnt a clear. Hell back in the days pre AC rebalance i was doing P3 daily and no you couldnt do a full clear of it solo you had to skip trash mobs, nothing against that, but that just helps prove my point of gear and specific traits arent as influential as the person playing properly (aka not using condi weapons while equipped with power gear, not throwing out cc and immobs for the sake of using abilities and thus screwing over the group if its a knockback or refreshing 5+ defiant stacks, etc). And yes i do hate the fact that pugs try to do the exploit tricks (like the doorstruck lupi, crusher split corpse pull or the high priestess of dwayna reset to 0) without actually knowing how to either do them properly or knowing how to do the fight normally…

Flow – its doing a run to the final boss, keeping him cc/stuck or in combat while on ledge/telescope/behind wall while on low hp and selling spots of the party for around 15g before finishing him off so that the people get the tokens.

TLDR: Skipping trash or taking their time isnt a problem, its that the little dps difference doesnt matter in such cases and in general knowledge+proper playstyle>difference made by gear; as for OPs point, lemme guess, those wars probably did stuff like sitting on GS1, not using A/M burst combo and noone might stacked.

No no gear and traits have the largest impact on dps. And im not referring to class specific exceptions like minions and phantasms.

The highest dps build do the damage they do because they have high crit chance from gear and traits. And they stack modifiers and buffs/debuffs from traits. If you play without any trait points you notice a huge difference. If you play without gear its not quite as noticeable. But still a difference. Difference between dps of classes when using similar gear and trait philosophies is very similar when the classes are exposed to the same level of buffs.

But yeah its true necro lacks a lot of high coefficient skills. I believe this is down to anet trying to force necros into condi/minion roles. And yeah staff is terribly weak.

Except that… even with min-maxed traits and gear, the only profession which has truly notable increase of dps pre max multipliers and buffs are warrior and ele… and thats for a limited amount of time because (Rampage on dual axe 6/6/0/2/0; a build too rare and kitten y for warriors to use as theorycrafted already; and 0/6/0/5/3 lingering elements duration, having a 4/10s uptime in that boost).
That again does not mean that you shouldnt have a zerker set, especially now with free build adaptation, but having power primary (so valkyre, soldier and zealot/crit variables trough of the knight, assassins and rampagers) typically gives just over double base dps.

TLDR: A team with ok gear and keeping their damage buffs reliable will in 99/100 situations be just as efficient than a full setup optimized group, since such setups rely in perfect situations and not… human; yes you get insane things like 50k burst skills/10-20k dps videos, but they arent a accurate representation of how said runs go… (as anyone who was doing arah solos for selling, tis either skip, cheeze or slowly slaughter thrash)

Yeah even though necro cant help buff the group. You will still do more dps than other classes if they are using soldier gear (assuming you are using berserker). No class is so different that they would do more dps than other classes with subpar gear. Gear and traits are more important for dps than the class.

Very much depends on weapon choice, not traits, gear only matters for power difference (as mentioned multiple times before, a full optimized zerker can barely stretch to 40% more dps than a power build if it would never crit, down to just over 20% if they are both on same might, fury and banner uptime).
For example a mesmer with S/P or S/S will do a vastly better base preformance in soldier gear than a ranger in full zerker on a shortbow, since a 1.5+ vs 0.5- power ratios.
Same thing applies to all professions thus necro too, we are kinda both blessed and cursed on that side with low power ratios on life generators (in terms of power scaling pre second) and high total power+high base damage (for example the reason why lich 1 is only slightly stronger than DS1 is just its cast time, it has a 0.5 power scaling compared to 1.4 from life blast, it needs the Lich power boost and high base damage to compete unless you get over the 5.4k power point).

Let me TLDR this thread:

Use Staff for DS if you are on a build which isnt full squish and for any longer fights (less damage variation between min and max damage helps life transfer dps since LT/transfusion and Tshackles use offhand weapon calculations in A/x setups)

Use Axe in DS for bursting aoe lines and dont like to use life transfer (which can be replaced by proper use of Lich form)

Use Dagger for anything else because its single target dps is beast.

What if we could control Zhaitan with our power of the undead. Give the necro an unlock able 0 skill that you get from completing the Arah story mode (reincarnate Zhaitan under your control). And, we could ride zhaitan and fly around through wvw demolishing towers and keeps… The catch is necromancer is no longer a profession option when making a character.

We can all dream.

Lets not whine about one of the rare functional interactions with condi maipulation we have (with putrid mark nerf, plague signet nerf and bugs, etc).
Tho it would be nice if all heals (except Mantra of Recovery, Blood Fiend summon, Water Spirit summon and Ether Renewal for quite obvious reasons) had a universal 1s cast time, would help pvp and wvw while improving pve fluidity and consistence.

On that note why is Withdraw (thief dodge heal) without a cast time, but unusable if rooted in any way (same for corrupt boon/all fake instants) can we just add a “fake/symbolic” cast indication (like 1/4) to show that said “instants” cannot be used the same way as real instants?

Yep, totally useless. My 20/0/20/30/0 MM would have no problems against that in PvP (seriously? 30 points on Death to apply poison?).

Anyway, Death Nova is a good trait. It deals a lot of damage (direct and poison) and it creates a poison combo field.
Also, 20 in Spite isn’t mandatory for minion mancers. You could run 30 in both Death and Blood Magic.

Well with everyone who commented on multiple necro issue threads that got deleted or merged off getting banned from the forums or leaving because of limits set, who knows.

Actually just by bumping up vampiric from 25-41 and adding a 0.01 power scaling to its current 0.02, removing the on manual exit DS cd (but bumping up base to like 13 or 14) and making FITG shade (immune to forced movement and immob, stun daze fear only interrupt but dont disable, chill cripple work normally) would be massive and all of these features are in game code already, sadly on historical and npcs. If someone with dev connections could just point it out we would have viable tank and cc builds.

Either way Unholy Martyr seems like the only trait that they made with actual consideration with what necros can/cant do and what they need/dont need.

I’m sorry but hasn’t it already been speculated that the sylvari are somehow related to Mordremoth? Wouldn’t this confirm that theory and that the Pale Tree is somehow keeping the corruption away from them.

No, it doesn’t. It just means that the sylvari’s immunity to corruption is not biological – it can be removed, and Omadd’s machine did just that. That is, if Scarlet got corrupted.

Though what the machine seemed to have removed was Scarlet’s connection to the tree (it was stated in an interview after the Jubilee that Scarlet’s disconnected from the Dream and it wasn’t her choice). This implies any sylvari not tied to the Dream become more susceptible to corruption. Soundless and Malyck, look out.

There is no relation between sylvari and Mordremoth hinted at or implied.

Actually it just confirms that Dragon minion =/= Dragon corruption if sylvari aint his minions or that as everyone who bothered to go trough all the stroylines should have known from the massive red arrows above the “hints” that the influence of ventaris tablet on the development of the pale tree made a barrier in the minds of sylvari that it called the dream/nightmare and that ommads machine AS PLAIN STATED BY HER JOURNAL AND VORPP* just burned trough it into the basic connection all beings corrupt by dragons share to their masters. You know kinda how it was with zhaitan and jormags champs which are sentient (cough kralky too if books are truly canon since he knew/sensed where glint is).

That just implies that sylvari that get dced from the dream are just like regular zombies, like Khilb, like the Svanir using the bloodsword, plain mentally broken when they get in touch with corruption (cough like some sylvari with zhaitans corruption) and if they are competent enough they can recover since they are technically already cured of the corruptions main effect (being connected with the respective dragon).

*Vorpp: I surmise she was directly exposed to a part of her own psyche that had been carefully walled off. Perhaps for her own protection?
Vorpp: We’d need to do far more extensive study of the sylvari Dream before I could draw any more-detailed conclusions.

As for the next 2, we already knew Mordy was in the ‘jungle’ bc of Colin Jo, so it seems like Mordy might be pretty close to the Asura. Of course, close is relative. I would consider Jormag ‘close’ to the Norn, but when you look on the map, Jormag looks like he could be further away from Hoelbrak than Zhaitan was from LA.

Im gonna go out on a whim and say all dragons are within locations of immense magical power, like the Magus falls for Mordre and the EOTN for jormag… since we bloody know that they are there from a) half of the asura starting zones talking about the dangerous magic there (which was the same thing asura said when they awoke primo) b) the norn character creation screen… you know the far shiverpeaks thing, kinda the 3rd or 4th line.

Other skilled players will always be a lot harder to beat than AIs, always.

Well lets just say that if you can win 11 out of 13 arenas by going guard with hammer and x/s to just decap, get top player as a person who doesnt give a kitten about the pvp meta and the persons highest pvp achivements in other games is high plat lol mmr and getting to fight lily, stonebro and hotshot. No PvP doesnt take more skill than going trough pve.
Again ill be glad to admit im wrong when you show me a video of a main pvp player going solo trough dungeons (AC 3, Arah 1 to lupi, 3 entire path and 4 to lyssa and maybe TA2 or finishing stuff like the ascalon or molten fractal at 40+), but im pretty sure we know that that wont happen since people that did those focus on pve.

When it comes to our CDI, I’d like to propose that ideas to change traits or skills keep the same theme the current skills/traits have. This limits the possibility that suggested changes do not fit the dev’s vision for the necro.
