Cribbage.2056 – dude under a specific trait setup (20 into curses and 30 into blood) with vampiric trait we are actually able to troll/grief people by healing the enemies with wells, especially if you got a lot of crit chance… Not to mention the copy condition, not stun break unless targeted and overall pretty anal plague signet, most skills having under a 40~50% ratio with power, conditions being derped because people whiled that they were “too good” if they didnt have a condition removal (that was the freaking point of necros) and axe being useless… yeah just a little bugs… hell minions seem appealing if you actually think about some bugs other trait lines have, but the fact that horrors revive downed enemies upon death (and they die in 2 seconds) just is the final ruin. We are good on paper, but we are broken since most our class doesnt work on paper. Best reason why to play a necro, grief thiefs and mesmers with chills and the lovely sadly pretty projectile bugged spectral grasp, you will feel like a kitten krait each time you yank someone.
NIGHTHUNTER.5139 – hope that you know that 5 pirate/noble/traveler runes + one of the one you didnt chose give a total of 60% magic find.
HiSaZuL.2843 – say that to Giganticus Lupicus, SE story golem 2 (that took 4 times as much time and coordination than all other bosses together in SE), most undead priests in seer path (the non afk kite ones) and a nice chunk of other bosses will not like that you said that. Also you can finish all dungeons with a full ranged team, but one still needs a “tank”/main meat shield to hold aggro or kite.
Consume conditions is far from the best, it is strong for 1v1, but best are Healing Signet, Troll Unguent and Signet of Resolve.
Just saying there is a projectile about as bad in game… oh wait aint the thief shortbow bomb cluster as fast as the orb?
Thresher.3049 – the guardian staff orb is about as fast (10%~ faster)
We aint bad, just broken to the very bones, just as the ones we return to life.
HiSaZuL.2843 – Not true, you cant faceroll dungoens no matter what unless you have a good trait and utility setup and a good team (at least the non exploitable ones), but that is intended, final PvE is always 10 times harder than any type of PvP since it involves fighting the unbalanced.

Or just double the speed and make it a 5 pierce with 100% combo finisher, the nerf of the finisher part was stupid because either way we only have 4 types of fields (4 dark, 2 poison, 1 light and 1 etheral that doesnt work with blast finishers unless specific conditions are met both during the cast and the activation making it essencially useless) and 4 blast finishers (3 minions and staff) and only 1 projectile finisher that is only 20%… we are the worst class right next to warriors in terms of combo fields and worst in finishers… (since unlike on others most of em by us are mutually exclusive).
The autoattack is purely a Life Force battery,
The purpose of a staff on a necromancer is to keep people alive.
Yay for strongest ranged damage being just a life force battery and no… it actually does have most burst out of all necro weapons… why i dont know but i do know that putrid is the only skill that does over 1k damage (and dont even think of mentioning Axe 2 or Dagger 2, axe actually makes you lose dps for 8% lf and dagger is for survivablity and both are too long channels to be burst skills).

Sheobix.8796 – Id rather see you fight 5 risen krait (or skelk if you are low level) since basilisks, ettin and a ton of other mobs all have nice taunts out of that you dont even have to dodge, just walk out, either way dont try to sell necros if guardians straight up do more condition damage just with 1 condition than our whole arsenal with same gear while healing for more just via traits.
(NB0119) Plague stability is ignored by Point Blank Shot. – was just me not notincing that there was a warrior and getting the icon hidden stability purged off
(NB0115) If you enter DS while getting hit by a channeled damaging ability, the damage “bleeds” through to your regular health instead of / in addition to hitting the DS life force pool. – can confirm with all skills that also get the enemy stuck in place, other channels dont apply to this
(NB0116) If you get transformed into a Moa Bird you can’t leave Death Shroud.

- life stealing from vampiric itself is not problematic (it doesnt heal enemies) as long as you dont have any points in Curses, but if you do make wells ground targeted and get all the vampiric skills, both you and the mob get healed for 46+ around 900~ if the well tick crits.

Hope that you know that you are leading people into a death trap of AC since 99% of our traits and vampiric skills dont scale with healing power(nor normal power what would be the even more obvious choice since vampiric does indicate more damage – more you steal).

BTW, doesnt seem to heal enemies if you dont have points in curses, at least for me, then again, i dont have problems with Plague signet passive (it at least kind works… most of the time) while many others do.

1) We aint that whiny, he is still worse, also thats a bo staff, not a caster staff.
2) Making it spectral would make sense from a mechanical standpoint because all of the spectral skills actually are there for personal utility, while corruptions are negatives to both you and enemy, only that you can eat/transfer/clear em.
Hak.9736 – open the weapon mastery achivements for your hero, kill a enemy with a well (you can get it down to 99% with anything, just kill it with the well), now look at the weapon mastery tab again, see the wonder, you got 1 more one handed sword kill, all skills that cause those achivements to gain points are actually counted as attacks (if you kill something with epidemic condition spread, you dont gain a point, thus not making it a actual attack since attacks have a weapon type).
For short each well thick counts as a attack with a one handed sword in game, if you kill a enemy with it it counts for the sword master achivement. Corrupt boon, just as every effect only skill should not be blockable by aegis that blocks attacks (plague form is greatsword, lich counts as staff).
Add to bug list since WoB has a self heal component and all on heal effect depend on casting the 6th slot skill, not what where or how the heal works.
Hak.9736 – ntw wells are attacks since they count for the sword kills…
The whole thing with us beating the Great Destroyer was that it leeched enough power out of Primo to wake him up, not that he woke up like 50 years later when he finally seeped enough energy for him to get hungry.
Evidence that they are living fossiles are that we fight destroyer versions of the jotun and mursaat, not to mention that the final boss was actually a lesser type of dragon that we have only evidence to be in the shiverpeaks (frozen statues there look a lot like a great destroyer if you slap on flesh on it and remove the whole molten lave part), not to mention that fossiles of older races are stupidly rare except for the true giants that we have a few more sightings off, not to mention that the asura straight up mention that they awoke when they went to a excavation.
You wake up before you even start feeling hunger because if the body notices a lack of nutrition it goes full gear for you to get more, same as with the ED, thus again your point makes no sense. Not to mention that the dragons cannot consume power while they are sleeping. Also if a giant engine is on low power and you force it to work, it doesnt work weaker, just for a much shorter amount of time, also elementary, since power input must give same power output, only time may numerically change.
It is a paradox, but it is true, the strongest predators rely only on basic instincts and react to the enemy, but that doesnt mean that they will do something stupid, e.g. a person likes math will know to multiply two numbers with four digits each in a fraction of the time someone who isnt natural in that field, same as some people are just naturally great at sports, doesnt mean that cant get smarter and improve on that was is already their nature.
You either didnt listen to what sovereign said or ignored the fact that zhai did everything he could to kill everyone, ignoring their living potential, ulike our dear transformed king of orr. Also, its pretty clear that minions cant be as important, but they are all pretty much just as bright as every other (guards defending the mouth, knights defending the eyes, normal risen defending the giants, the giants trying to “pull aggro” away from the guards and knights). You even kitten fight “one of Zhaitans” generals who is essencially just a fancy armored run of the mill risen you kill on orr 10000 times for your temple exotics, after he stops chilling with his eye and mouth friends.
Magic sucks only states that minion behaviour changes depending on what they were in real life and that it takes more magic to revive more powerful beings, not that e.g. undead krait are smarter than grubs, only thing you confirm in Edge of Destiny (except that DE are a whiny group of children in adult bodies) is champions drain power from their masters, but return it by corrupting stuff out of their actual area of influence (the whole bloody reason why snaff managed to get so farm with the research/whole idea to use their of energy against them).
Game has the best gold sink ever, the mystic toilet and the 15 kitten tax of nothing at all upon every type of trade. The 2 should be nerfed not a 40 silver fee for being able to craft more stuff.
Hak.9736 – thats the whole point of corrupt boon, stripping the bonuses that a enemy has that give him a unfair advantage, that includes aegis and turning it into burning. it just doesnt work right now and is actually bugged.
BobJoeXXI.2493 – guys it never worked, they said they fixed it a few patches ago, they didnt as always.
Swadow.6213 then you a) timed it wrong b) used it on a enemy whos skill wasnt a channel, but just having a longer cast time, fear doesnt stop casting, just blocks a channel (either way, you can see fear on the condition bar no matter what unless the enemy cannot take damage or under evade or invulnerability) since interrupting a cast would be considered taking away the control of a player and thus protected with stability.
3) Still conditions aint ment for burst on necro, just to weaken a enemy over time
4) Spectral armor counters every thief and warrior who relies on burst
6) Signet it does 1.2k damage from the damage component with a solder setup, conditions are just for flavour and epidemic spread.
Well, it is a thing that necros have for them, utility and 4 “unique” effects, Boon conversion, Death Shroud, fear and Epidemic condition spread.

b) Spectral grasp is buggy as hell for most racial sizes and dependant on terrain (while scorp wire is a actuall straight line pull)
c) wvwvw is the derpfun mode, you can use bundles in and be op no matter what profession
urtv.8791 – big difference, channeled fears will get broken by stability, also try in pvp or on a enemy boss in dungeons, fear will apply no matter what and if the enemy doesnt have defiant stacks even actually make the boss run away, but will always interrupt (that is kidna a reply to you too Dibrom.6408 on how it works with defiant).
Simplicity.7208 –
1) 30 SR is for me at least a must if going any kind of non condition build, since it gives you a easier life force generation (yes the +30% life force and the 5 point trait are bugged, but everything else works perfectly and never helps the enemy, unlike in every other trait line) also since they didnt actually change the 25 point trait it still gives 20 power pre 20% life force instead of being a 5% damage boost (as in it actually does give more damage pre life force instead of being a damage drop if you are under a stupid barrier like life blasts mechanic is)
3) Jon said necro conditions aint ment for burst from the design standpoint, cant really argue with that sadly
4) Hydromancy sigil on dagger or warhorn and one on the staff (or the energy one for more dodge if you dont like bursters) helps
5) As said with MH Dagger and OH Warhorn life force generation can migrate more damage than a blind/weakness from OH Dagger and is less situational, but wastly weaker for anyone who has more than 10 points in curses thus a thing of preference
Spite signet – That was kinda the idea, since its kinda more for the power builds because of the passive, thus making it a power variant of epidemic (as in damage dealing but with a selected amount of aoe conditions) kinda made sense..
Undead signet – ment it, dead allies get to be a minion for 15 seconds with 5 skills being able to help the player for a while, not as a actual minion summon (they should have worked on it and fix the reanimator to be dead enemy comes back as undead, not just bone horror shiz (ofc not working on champions and bosss).
Swadow.6213 – test it it goes trough stability/iterrupts spells, only thing stability secures is that you dont lose full controll of your character.
a) as said Corrupt Boon truns Stability into Fear
b) either way Fear is both CC and Condition thus ignores stability and defiant but can be purged with stun breaks

Dragon to minion relation – they feed the dragons, magic, but not to give them power, its to sustain their rage/put them back to slumber, since once they get enough power they should fall asleep, even the gods probably dont know what hell would happen if one of them actually became hungry because of a empty stomach, also while the asura werent corrupt, the whole ground and everything in it was, what is kinda whole thing Primordus version of the corruption does, taking fossiles and turning them into destroyers while causing it to mostly melt/turning it into lava, just as no living being got corrupted into a risen, but every dead on orr did. For short dragons power isnt influenced by minions at all, minions only sate their hunger/how much they rely on the more basic instincts and how fast theyll go back to sleep.
Energy is corruption – Use of energy trough magic =/= infusing something with the energy itself as the asura story with the infinity cube shows you. If it were so every human would have the powers of gods, dervishes would have been the ultimate beings and the norn animals…. Think of it as direct exposure to sunlight, good for plants in short tems if they can convert it, but if directly exposed to it for a long amount of time they die.
Last thing, never said ED werent smart, just that they work on the “level of animals”(crocodiles being a great example, one of the smartest predators in nature, working only off instincts), since their main strategies are left to the champions, over who he has little actual mental control (as shown by the eye/king of orr, zhai ordering minions to kill everything alive, the eye telling the knights to let us in).
I’d actually like some official confirmation and a hint of an area hopefully. I know we have that quote but after reading through Lindseys history I did not find any message regarding Final Rest. So it could just be a made up quote by someone that may already have it, it may be true who knows.
I just find it weird that it can’t be crafted or discovered through the forge, having such a low chance to drop from a chest and not knowing which one could take a while figuring out what you’re supposed to be doing.
Also pointing out that I have yet to see Final Rest in the trading post, so this probably verifies that it can’t be forged, and if it can’t be crafted like Lindsay supposedly said then farming the worlds largest chests is all we have left until a noble soul comes and sheds some light on us.

The Spite line trait Spiteful Talisman doesn’t effect Reaper’s Touch. It updates the tooltip but the actual skill cooldown and range is unchanged on use. If you look at the focus skills when equiping the trait you will see Spinal Shivers flip as to be updating but Reaper’s Touch doesn’t.

I just tested scepter range(900) and reaper’s touch range WITH spiteful talisman and they both go out of range at the same distance.
You are correct about the tooltip reverting to 18 seconds after the skill is used and then from 18-11 seconds, the tooltip incorrectly states 18 seconds recharge and 900 range, then once the cooldown reaches 10 seconds remaining, the tooltip flips back to 14 seconds listed cooldown and 1200 range. So, it does indeed take 18 seconds for the skill to recharge WITH the Spiteful Talisman trait when it should take 14 seconds.
I have already reported as a bug that the bounces do not occur unless an eligible target is within 600 range for them to occur, however the first hit which applies 3 vulnerability stacks and the initial damage, will always occur – even at 1200 range.
So, to clarify:
- Skill cast/initial effect range w/o Spiteful Talisman trait: 900
- Skill cast/initial effect range w/ Spiteful Talisman trait: 900
- Bounce range with AND without Spiteful Talisman trait: 600
- Recharge w/o Spiteful Talisman trait: 18s
- Recharge w/ Spiteful Talisman trait: 18s

additionally a benificial “bug” spiteful talisman increase the damage of both these skills this is reflected both in the tool tip of reapers touch and spinal shivers and actually does increase damage of the ability, I tested using golems and a steady focus.
Tooltips dont update with more power, it doesnt increase the actual base damage nor scailing.

Easy, she would die, she truned herself undead and is now the real zhaitans babysitter since he bit his tongue that gave him ouchie ouchies (and than a fleed of airships killed the part of the tongue he bit off with a panzy saladmancer as their leader) thus needed someone to take care of him and teach him how to bite off ears instead.
brickforlife.1364 – Except that that often bugs DS out making you unable to go out of it and when life force runs out getting suck with not a single one of your skills being usable, being unable to dodge/move and pretty much forced to restart the client… right, really good solution.
Oh well that explains a lot, but for future note, if talking about religious hogwash, say so before i enter my lore rage mode~
Konig Des Todes.2086 – Killing minions =/= weaking the ED, but it does weaken his area of influence, what is another thing, the corruptions do just create by the EDs being there, because they just seep their power (how the original Asura gates were powered = draining Primos powers much faster than they would ususally seep thus making him hunger much faster than he ususally would) and its spread even further via minions or can even be summoned by champions (as claw and sunless show). Corruption is spread of the area of influence, but not the actual power of the dragon itself.
As said he probably just bit his tongue and that part slipped out and attacked us and because of it having a shard of zhais power, it overwhelmed all calculations and we destroyed it thinking it was Zhaitan, since as Dhuum shows, no being, no matter how powerful or what counters it has, cannot stand to something of ultimate power (since the whole ED punchline was that they at least as strong as the human gods, but more like animals than sentient beings).
Also something cannot bleed if it doesnt have blood by the very definition of bleeding.
LastDay.3524 – WRONG ON SO MANY LEVELS~ (one of the aspects of the 11 pools of magic)mancy is use of magic/casting, (one of the aspects of the 11 pools of magic)ation is use of the powers with active actions , divination is a aspect of everything that lets you use the dead, but as a element of magic it is the whole annoying holy priest/talks to gods/helps the unresting spirits kitten, thus as said only being close to necromancy in the fact that it draws power from life force. Also games (D&D) did finally define necromancy to the current standard since its only in there… like you dont see people walking around with a army of the dead, do you?
Necromancy and Divination together are the base pillars of forbidden magic (chaotic and lawful side) because trough their basic traits you can tap into different plains of power that aint bound to the mortal relms (thus if you dont know the basics of both you cant progress into the “advanced” classes abjuration (changing the planes of existance, needed for advanced transmutation), Conjuration (energy to matter), enchantment (infusion of matter with stable forms of energy), evocation (essencially the basics of physics, needed for advanced conjuration), illusion (use of energy and distortion of matter to influence your surroundings, needs all other classes to get the maximum effect) and transmutation (conversion of matter via energy manipulation, needed for advanced enchantment).
The needs can be changed depending on skills and specific books but thats the general plan of forbidden (non elemental magic that uses life force / sentient or out of the current dimension energy as source).
FiachSidhe.3654 – Divination and Necromancy are polar opposites… one is helping the dead to be actually dead and talking to them/helping them reach their gods, other is getting the dead back to life (in one form or another)and enslaving/chaining their spirits to a mortal form to control em (also you couldnt chose both unless you were true neutral and even then you were unable to use raise and command undead spells. Thats like saying that arcane manipulation has anything to do with elemental control except the fact that they both use the same power source.
Deimos Tel Arin.7391 – how is a active dodge system with taunts as easy as hold both mouse buttons while wall jumping and instakilling with daggers despite you being full of led because of 3 semi automatics but still not dead?

SET.3275 – you know that it actually pops the numbers a nice chunk above the allies, unlike on the ground like WoB, also all dual effect skills (like Spectral walk, minions, turrets, etc) can be swapped out post use if not in combat (but i wouldnt do that if you swapped out the location of SWalk while its in the spectral return phase since it will place both skill slots on a 60+the first skill swaped cd (take skill1, skill2, Walk, swap walk with 1, swap 1 with 2, swap walk with 2, 2 and walk will end up on a 60+skill1s recharge, but it will only show up to be on cd since half of the skill1s recharge time – will be still uncastable and actually on recharge till then), this is fixed if you take the Spectral Mastery trait (or just dont do that much swapping).
tim.5617 – oh k, in that (the PvE) case, true, but you can mix and match stats via gear there (what to be honest would have given even more depth to it).
tim.5617 – you get around 200 vit from a well balanced rampager setup will have a nice chunk of bonus vit
Nebilim.5127 – Did it with guildies, not a boss just splendid chest, guess it is the Dwayna Statue event, will try to farm orr then.
Best staves = Deathwish and Final Rest, who gives a kitten about particle effects when you can either be a Jade Brootherhood Elite or a god kitten DERVISH!
1) 30 point SR trait gives 3 sec of stability (while not great at least something, still would be better if it actually broke pulls, knockbacks and knockdowns as other stability sources do or to be perma stability while in ds that cannot be removed/effect stability)
2) Conditions work well, people just go for carrion instead or rampager or rabid and get slaughtered because of lack of toughness while the conditions tick off, we are pretty much immortal for 20 seconds with plague if its cast while over 50% hp
3) Kinda true, but DS can be used in a supportive build filling way for now (it should either get a 5th or even up to a 8th skill since right now it cripples us most of the time, i like my Staff 3-4 into Grasp to Doom and Dark path into Dagger swap procing hydromancy and even more chilling and transfusion heals for friends), sadly LB will always be the cripple because of the stupid do half as much damage when under a arbitrary limit.
4) Again same thing as 2 and will be the same for the 100B thing, depends on build, honestly unless the enemy had a kitten cheating trick cough moa or 4v1 with my skills down_cough_ i can always get away, especially because of our nice chill skills.
5) Warhorn is, IMO at least, our strongest offhand, at least if you dare go melee, the LF generation is great and the daze is much bigger than the animation, combined with dagger main hand, you can go from 10 to 70% LF in no time
Signet of Spite- just needs to get the recharge halved and 480 radius around the target too
Signet of Undeath – good as it is, would be cool if it revived actually defeated players as minions for 15 seconds depending on class (shade for light, wurm for medium, golem for heavy)
Spectral Grasp – Make it ignore terrain, i really wanna be a krait!
Signet of the Locust – just balancing the fact that it life stealing skills should scale their damage and healing both of healing and damage each.
Plague Signet – make it a i eat conditions for life force and instantly take all conditions to you and its kitten, ok right now (kinda stupid that if a enemy aint targeted you dont get the break but still ok)
About the right numbers and DS adapting to equipped weapons, true.
Lich form wind should be a aoe aura chill and cripple that would if activated be a pbaoe knockback on demand (maybe making it a signet with it). For else you got Plague (that should get a 4th skill trough).
UncannierYames.6598 – so a lower cd toughness giving life leeching pet (if they would work) or a pretty big aoe that gives protection and heals for about 2.3x the amount Consume ususally does by just going cleric gem and 20 in blood isnt worth it? HOW?
Ok there was 100% a nerf, used 92 75 to 80 rares, not a single exotic out of it (all just staves was like 30~ times forging em, last one was the cleric air staff).
Just to note, Zhai was never actually said to be evil, he is a giant mass of power that is barely more sentient than a spider and relies on instincs, the Death… Good might be like the whole thing with Nurgle in WH40k, spread of his version of delight, since only the, while living, really strong magical risen actually complained about anything, what might have been a sign that he was actually making some twisted paradise for them, what wouldnt be good for the powerhungry and greedy (basic traits of human orrians if ascalonian texts are to be trusted).
