Necro can pull and actually be desruptiors (well its the only thing they can do in pvp), Mesmers are beasts since no npc is actually smart enough to ignore illusions, Guardians have a kittenon of nice peel off them attack me mechanics, warriors can just bullrush and immob a enemy on the place or tank for 7 seconds with mace shield… even if you are good you can use a thief for evade tanking or turret engie repair kite.

Fastest for clearing stuff ispretty much what you already have, get berserker armor, Dagger Warhorn with Staff as second set (2-3-4- swap to dagger 5-spam 1, if you got hit a few times go DS that generates pretty fast with WH5 and Dagger1) with corruption, suffering and id take spectral walk, with Reapers Might and Spiteful Marks in Spite and Mark of Evasion in Blood (gives you on dodge blast finisher what is nice with wells for aoe blind when you pick up 5 mobs). Consume Conditions being the heal youd wanna use most of the time since enemies start getting the annoying as hell immobilize and weakness that hurt the damage output a bit, but if you really want true 5 mob at a time kill power, Well of Blood is the way to go since it heals a kittenon over time.

djtool.8372 – it isnt bad, just as a single attack still only having 20% chance to proc the field (only multi attacks usually have that), the slow projectile speed is terrible and it has a kitten annoying loud noise when you are on headphones is what is annoying…

Haette.2701 One of the Draconic expansion rule sets before 3.0 became official and kinda made DMs actually have to balance stuff, would have to look around the attic for hours to find the actual name and yes, clerics with acolyte specialization were the typical dark casters because they could get Turn undead with Tome of Specialized Hunt to lose out on 2d8 but also get to change the enemy targeted to a selected type , Command undead and Speak with dead, essecially letting you ignore the no charm rules since command undead didnt have a level check.

Ruufio.1496 – Life transfer transfers the exact amount of damage it does into life force, since we have around a 21k minimum hp pool, its barely 4% a second (the degen is 4%/sec) thus not a bug (the 3% LF note on it was always useless, you can even see it on the alpha version video from Totalbiscuit that it doesnt generate 3% pre enemy on pulse).

KTKTKT.1853 – you can do a tournament group, but thats losting tickets for testing when you could just play with friends… Also true that Well of Blood, Well of Corruption and Well of Darkness are really strong when it comes to fighting about a point of ground, but the thing with them is that its well worth giving up 60% of a cap time for plain not fighting when necros have em up on the ground and just charging back in, light field, whirl finisher, save into purity and in either spvp, wvwvw and tpvp (if it aint a lone offensive guardian what i never actually saw), you wont be able to do anything to stop em.

Pretty much according to guild wars lore the raising of actual undead (skeletons, etc) is forbidden.

Honestly, i like the fact that you have to run around, collect people, etc, what id only really like is a server search setup with dungeon and role checks (Defensive, Offensive, Support that registers via item stat check)
Example: open the LFG window right now, select from the list of dungeons what you want to run and if Story or Explo, it checks gear and registers you under a type, if in a party people get a looking for party member window instead with the list of all online people on the server that registed and then with serch options by dungeon and type
People would still need to interact and actually walk to the ports, talk about strategy, but there wouldnt be derps like 2 thieves and 3 elementalist with all going glass cannon and a server wide search would be in general better since people could actually spend time on useful stuff.

If i remember right Necromancers are 4th to 7th stage wizards with control of health points, cold damage and roll penalty with auras under them and a special affinity for the Draconic language and Scythe weapons (usually human, more often than not female), only death oriented specialized Clerics actually have undead summoning abilites till Necros get to the Lich special, all undead minions till then are counted as pets and allies, not getting damage by purge summon skills. All of the minions the necromancer has (excluding the shade that is actually more of a minion of grenth/from the mists thing) fit the standard of a undead creature under the flesh familiar type, with jaggered horrors being more of undead critters since it is forbidden to raise fully sentient beings as minions in Tyria.
For short, no, despite not being able to raise a army (what in general is a lich stadium only feature since it extends the summoning limits to 24 and the rasie skills to ignore charisma rolls if the risen is chosen to be a pet), Necromancers are still by all definitions Necromancers.

Daecollo.9578 – Well of Blood purges conditions with whirl (one large aoe cleanse) and projectile finishers (one pre projectile). On the defensive WoB is stronger in every aspect if there is someone to use a whirl finisher upon poison, only on the offensive (what is stupid to do unless you go in as a support or to be the defender/bunker the cap).

The difference seems to be like playing piano with just index fingers vs playing using whole chords once you select Elementalist or Necromancer.
So to me Necro and Ele are left fighting the UI as much as they are fighting the enemy.
Wouldnt be a problem if DS were a true transformation and on a ele, despite the hate, fire/earth actually works in pvp (better than Cond necro, but mostly just because of the buggy nature of our skills, doesnt mean that having one viable build is ok, but i know that this one is).

They had a problem during the later beta weekends with some players figuring out how to keep LF topped up so that they could stay in DS virtually constant. End result was a nigh unkillable Necro, unless everyone ganged up on him.

Spam 2, use 3 just before you use 4 for aoe weakness (combo field poison and blast finisher) and chill (enemy dps drops to like 17% while the 2 are up), use 5 each time mobs bundle up in a cone around you, Swap to Signet of Spite, Epidemic and Spectral walk for general pve leveling (or Well of suffering, Well of corruption and spectral walk if you go power/crit) since while being not even close to optimal, let you finish hearts way faster and are still ok on meta events. Staff as it is doesnt actually need traits to be good… well it actually is the only weapon that is really good even when not traited for.

True, but they use all cross profession skills (all risen use Dark Path except Nobles that have thief Steal and all with scepters use the whirly water auto attack even if they are of another profession if they use a scepter).

Cone daze is strong (and way bigger than the animation makes it seem to be) and it has great life force generation with dagger… why else? Also no, no you can kill a CoPurity Wrath Whirl guardian… pretty much noone can in 1v1 (except Sword/Focus mesmers speced into interrupts).

Warlord Jim.2870 – well we did get a post a while ago that both hunter pets and necro summons are getting a update in ai on the hunter threads, just that right now the Mad king is kinda eating up the dev time so im not really worried about it. On the note of stability, we are the only caster class that doesnt have it in utility form (with the heavy armors guys having 2 stability utilites and medium armors having like us, on elite stability) what, when they get fixed, will make minions still weaker compared to other specs in PvP.
possante.8310 – they kinda fixed Plague signet, pre check trasfers 1 condition pre ally, just like Deathly Swarm 1 from us and Well of Power 1 pre pulse, they seem to use the same code for em, thus making the tooltips kinda unreliable.

I’m ok with one of those options being actioned, however combined it would (imo) be verging on OP.
As bugged as Necro is right now, it’s not really underpowered. People who have put in the time and effort to really learn the class and find the right build can honestly handle any other class / combination out there.
My concern is that if we start recieving buffs such as the ones you suggest, on top of the bug fixes, we might end up on the other side of the spectrum as being too op / flavour of the month and will once again be targeted for rebalancing as the cycle repeats itself.
Necro (imo) is in a good spot as far as potential right now, we just need the bug fixes and really minor tweaks and quality of life improvements to make more builds viable without making any 1 specific build op
True that we do have strong potential (that is usable… well kinda) and its pretty fun to see glass cannon FotM ops cry why we dont die while they run for their life because they didnt watch at those bleed stacks, but DS itself is kinda a self cripple unless used as a one off burst meatwall and aside of disruption and nice drawn out fights, we cant do much, thus both (all sigils not just our) ignoring LoS and being able to only dodging it by actually watching the animation and the Stability DS trait actually being useful for stability not as a fake stun break (that still doesnt work on pulls, knockbacks and knockdowns since it doesnt put you on your feet nor remove the cd that they cause on skills) would instead of making a pure ace of all trades, a strong over time duelist.

KTKTKT.1853 – please solo a solid built guardian or a wolf/bear beast sigil ranger and post a video of it, second true that there is a L2P issue since necros have the highest learning curve (mesmers might have the highest skill ceiling power, but necro ele and warrior do actually take the most to master, yes i am including the warrior since while he can do great with facerolling, you can squeeze out at least 40% more damage with good adrenaline control and combo weapon swap attacks).

Another bug: Greater Marks trait causes the BWE2 (or was it BWE1… not sure) Chillblains (with new icon, but 1/4 cast time and old skull texture) that has a seperate cooldown from the normal one.

Epidemic is a beast, but much more useful if you go for capping points, what a sole necro is pretty much unable to do without another profession doing more than 60% of the work, BiP is in my opinion, useless now, the might is only useful for a full Power Crit DS setup, but still barely a power up, even the easy and kitten path buggy as hell Spectral Grasp helps more (only reason why you would really wanna take BiP is to get on demand self condition for more healing from Consume).
