Assuming these attempts are happening when you are not trying to log on and are from a different country (since we don’t know where Hefei is in relation to you) then I would say they have your password, either from your email, a keylogger or you used the same password at a different site.
I would recommend you check your computer’s security, also looking for a keylogger. Then change your email’s password and your game password, making sure it’s unique to this game and not used on any other sites. You might wish to contact support and change your email also.
I tried searching for a word I could see as part of a thread title on first page in a forum. First 3 tries it shows zero results and on the fourth try it pulls up a thread that doesn’t even have that word in it.

Contiguous, I’ve tried most of the weapon combos so far. The main problem with the phantasms right now is that they get nuked very quickly by the mobs, which then go after me. This may just be because my gear is poor and I’m also fighting some mobs a bit harder than I probably should, simply because there’s not much I’ve found so far under level 5.
I can usually handle 1 mob at a time — and I’m practicing my dodging skills — but if I get swarmed, I’m toast.
As fun as the mesmer looks overall, I might have been wiser to have started with something a bit easier…
As I mentioned earlier, the Mesmer doesn’t really start to shine till level 40 when you are able to get some good traits and until then it’s considered one of the harder professions to level.
You have 5 character slots, if you want an easy ranged profession you could start with a ranger with a bear pet. For melee, guardian or warrior. If a profession isn’t working out for you, you can always drop it for a while, pick up something else to learn the game then go back later.

When you are have the guild inventory open, look at the left hand side of the panel. There is a icon for the log there. It shows who put in and took out what and when.
Personally I wouldn’t recommend crafting before level 80. Any crafting is a money sink really. You can get any gear you need much cheaper than it would cost to level crafting to that level. Many people sell crafted gear below cost to get rid of it as they are leveling crafting and making gear they don’t need. Remember that any crafting takes mats, and it takes a LOT of them. you could either be selling those mats for money or saving them up for crafting later. Crafting can be useful for a level 80 character to make exotic armor and weapons and later ascended or a Legendary weapon. I can’t really recommend it for much else.
Of course if you want to craft your gear, go right ahead. It’s just not as cost effective as one should have wished.

I’ve heard of a work around where you can equip 2 of the same item if one is infused and one isn’t but ive never done it myself as ive never made said mistake so i dont know for certain if it works or not .

Upgrade a regular ascended ring in the Mystic Forge using 1 Shard of Crystallized Mists Essence, 3 Glob of Coagulated Mists Essence, and 5 Vial of Condensed Mists Essence
Just calling it unique isn’t enough for it to be clear. In Guild Wars 1 unique meant that it was a green weapon, not that you could equip only one. You could equip multiples of the same unique weapon if you wanted. If they are going to change the terminology from one game to the next, they should say what unique means at the point of purchase. The NPC could tell you that you this when you speak to him.
One should always think of Murphy’s Law when making suggestions. You know if they do nerf it, we will then have threads saying they can’t get enough. When you consider there is such an easy fix already, deletion of excess, I see no reason to involve ANet in this.
While it can be one of the high priced ones, it’s unlikely that it is. The odds are much higher that you will open it and get one that is less than a silver. There are over 400 dyes that it could be and if the chance is equal, it’s a chance in 400 of getting an abyss for example. It’s also possible that the chances are not equal, and the odds are lower.
I usually sell mine but from the ones I’ve opened I’ve gotten the common ones repeatedly. I suspect the rare ones drop less frequently.
Mix up the two and you’ll have a unique look. Take pants, boots and gauntlets from the right and combine it with the rest of the left. With this strategy you could some day look like this:

I don’t where you live that hobos look like that but it must be one rough neighborhood. You might want to consider moving.
If you are using hammers, you might want to look at an Orrian Smasher. I think it would go with that look better than what you have now. You can pick up a cheap one and transmute the skin. This one is on a Norn so it’s scaled up in size, but it’s big on a human also. It also has a nice dripping water animation.
I have one of each profession and I can tell you my guardian goes where my others fear to tread. I can wade into a fight on that one and my health barely budges and the heals are more effective where with the others I am more cautious about getting into a fight with multiple foes.
At low level, your ways to earn money are limited. It took me a long time to earn my first gold. (I still remember it. Soooo shiny!. Oooohhh ^^)
1) harvest EVERYTHING! You can buy harvesting tools from with karma from various heart merchants. Sell for best price you can get on the trading post.
2) check the prices in the trading post on armor drops. Sell or salvage (you can buy salvage kits with karma from various heart merchants) depending on which is better.
3) try to do the big meta events in the low level zones. They give good level appropriate loot and if you do the lead up events, good exp. These events are the Jungle Wurm (Caledon, Sylvari area), the Maw (Wayfarers, Norn Area), The Shadow Behemoth, (Queensdale, human area) and the Fire Ele (Metrica, Asura area. Just as an aside, this one is the hardest with fire traps everywhere and fire elementals and you can die here easily).
4) try the Champ run in Queensdale when you get a few levels. There is usually a group of people (a zerg) killing them in a circuit. You will need to learn the waypoints and the sequence. You can ask in chat and people will tell you where the zerg is and the sequence. It’s both good exp for leveling and decent level appropriate loot.
5) kill everything. They may drop something you can use or sell and the ones that haven’t been killed for a while build up bonus exp.
Just make sure you remove all non soulbound items from your character’s inventory and put them in the bank. Soulbound items can sold for a vender price or sometimes salvaged for mats.

Don’t make a new ticket, they don’t like it. They will only deactivate a second ticket as duplicate. Update your first ticket with any new information.

It frequently takes 24 hours before you get your first response from support. For that just wait a bit more. It took me over a day to get back in game when I had a problem requiring support.
I see you have another person with the same problem and another person just made a thread in Account Issues about the game forgetting/deactivating his password. It’s possible this is a game bug. If so, then it may not have an immediate fix as they will have to look into the problem and then fix it.
You may wish to update your ticket and tell them there are other people reporting this and that it may be a game bug.
I don’t think there is. I don’t think support ever hands those out because if they do and they give it to the wrong person then they are giving the account away.
You can contact support to check but you probably will just have to do without it.
You should be aware that Mesmer is considered a profession that doesn’t really shine until level 40 when you get some good traits. Until then it’s can be one of the harder professions to level.
When I was leveling my Mesmer I stuck to greatsword and staff, keeping lots of distance between me and mobs. Using greatsword for attacks and staffs mostly as defensive. It wasn’t until I reached level 80 that I switched to greatsword and sword/focus. Before then I was just too squishy to melee.
Someone else was saying something like this on a previous thread. I referred him to the Tech Support forum and he made a thread which you can read here if you want to discuss it and see if it’s the same issue.
If it was a credit card issue, how could other players have reported this? It’s not like that’s one of the in-game report options and it’s not like ANet is going to ban because some random person in game claimed that the game was paid for by a card not owned by the purchaser. This part of your statement doesn’t make sense.
And how would ANet know (or care) whose credit card it was? People do use, with permission, other people’s cards. For example, a parent will allow a child to use their card. This is not a bannable situation.
The only reason I can think of for ANet to ban is if the charges were reversed. If this is so, then there is an automatic ban for this.
shrugs * for me, to be honest, waypoint fees aren’t an issue. everyone gripes about them, but their convenience can not be overstated. i’m not 100% certain, but i believe there is a tp in every zone. bank? eh, i do all my banking after i go to the heart of the mists (free) and then walk through to lion’s arch … when i don’t decide to just wp to my nearest city.
nope, this doesn’t mean i’m rich, i’m not. just means, you wanna gripe about something that is, overall, inconsequential as the waypoint fees, knock yourself out. for me? i’m just gonna keep on enjoying my game.

You are going to have to contact support. They are the only ones who might be able to help you. Go to the support tab at the top of the page then go to ‘ask a question’ and fill out a ticket.

If they weren’t account bound people could buy them from the trading post, and assuming enough money, be geared up in one day. Since their goal is to have people logging in every day, it’s all account bound.
Mine gets real hot also. I stuck wedges under the corners so it’s raised up, so air can flow underneath better, and I run an outside fan over it while playing.
Just to let you know, ANet requests that you do not make a ticket and a post on the same day. They ask that you give support time to work on the issue first. If you haven’t gotten a response after 3 days, you are requested then to post in the stickied thread for tickets over 3 days old in the Account Issues forum.
You will need to contact support and let them help you. Go to the support tab at the top of the page and then go to ‘ask a question’ and make a ticket. Be sure and tell them you don’t have access to that hotmail.
There is no way to get exactly 1800 gems buying them with real money. ArenaNet has five set values of gems you can purchase. You do know that you can buy gems with in game gold? So if you have enough gold you can buy the additional 200 gems.
Yeah, but he said in his post he didn’t have enough ingame gold to pay for 200 gems.
OP, support probably won’t be able to help you as they don’t control pricing and I doubt they have authorization to charge your account as you request. My theory is, they don’t allow small gem purchases because the credit card companies charge them for each transaction, typically 2 to 3% of the total charge. This means small, frequent purchases bring in less money than larger, less frequent ones. A case of being nickeled and dimed through these charges. If this is the reason, that is why they don’t have 100 or 200 gems available to buy.
And if you say, well I’m using a debit card, then they would be refusing the charges to credit card users and that would cause its own set of problems.
My concern is if they handle the Tengu armor the way they did Charr armor. With Charr you spend time selecting a great fur pattern and colors and then it gets completely covered by all except a couple of armor sets. With Tengu if you get a great selection of feather patterns and color in character selection and then cover it with long sleeves, long pants, gloves and shoes then that takes a lot of the excitement out. They might as well be humans with a beak as be Tengu then.
Plus, you can be sure the tail will clip through all armor. I bet also that their wing feathers will clip through the sleeves.
Before someone makes a suggestion for the forum, they should take a few minutes and try to think of unintended consequences of their suggestion. In this case, I would think one consequence would be that anyone with any type of privacy concern would stop posting. This would leave the people who don’t. Those people tend to be naive (the ones who don’t think a stalker would ever come after them) confirmed trolls or stalkers themselves.
It also makes threats more vivid and concerning. If some angry/crazy person says to me, “I know where you live Astral Projections and I’m coming to your house” it’s not as immediate a threat as someone saying “I know where you live [real life name] and I’m coming to your house”.
If you were hacked wouldn’t they change your password? Most hackers do. And if they did change your password, you wouldn’t be able to access either the forum or the game. So while you might have been hacked, I wouldn’t think it is the highest possibility.
Do you have your password saved on the login screen? If not, try doing that. If it is saved on the login screen and you still can’t get in then that backs up your idea there is a problem.
How could you force people to do this? If Anet asks me for my real name, well, it’s John Smith. Oh, your name is John Smith, too? What a coincidence.
That would make things interesting, all the forum users being named John Smith. Might conceivably cause some problems with remembering which John Smith is a forum troll though. ^^
If you wait two hours and carefully type your log-in name and password, you should be fine. A large number of the tickets that we receive reveal that folks typo a lot. They may think they are typing the password on the account, but they’re off by a letter or number, or they forgot that they used a capital letter instead of lowercase.
Support will be happy to help you, but I suggest that you discontinue attempts (or at least wait a few hours) because repeated attempts will not be effective."

You might be having typos when you put in your password. Just as a comment, your post had several typos in it, perhaps because you are typing fast. Try waiting a while then typing it in slowly, trying not to make any errors.
If this doesn’t work then you probably need to let support look into it. You have already sent off a ticket and should get a response by tomorrow.
Don’t like this idea at all myself. There are too many crazy people out there to want to hand out my real name over the Internet. While someone named John Smith is safe enough, a number of people have names that are unique enough to be found if someone wants to dig for it. It just sounds like something that could easily be abused for only minor rewards. Good moderation is a better way to handle forum problems.
