No idea what recipes they were supposed to hold. But the description on the coffers in the gem store say recipes. I don’t much care for the skins or whatever I bought the coffers for recipes, but it looks like it could have been a waste of money, as recipes aren’t even in them.
I didn’t pay much attention to the rich dragon coffers as I wasn’t planning to buy any. I had to log on to check and you are right, they do say recipes and there are apparently none in them. I would say you have a legitimate complaint, if you bought them for something advertised that is not actually in there. Not sure who you would contact about this, but I think you should. Maybe support? If it was me, I would make a thread specifically on the subject that the coffers advertise items they may not actually contain. See if you get a Dev to answer and explain. Either the description in the gem store is wrong or the wiki is wrong, but since no one has reported getting any recipes, it makes me think the description is wrong.
I willing to believe that OP picked the names kurbstomperz on his warrior and kubstompin as his character name COMPLETELY innocently. Why, he told me he picked the two words completely randomly and they were TOTALLY without meaning for him. If this isn’t true, this means not only did he pick a name that violates TOS and is pretty nasty, but that he got on the forum and LIED about it. And EVERYONE knows that never happens.

Maybe if they could find some way to reward laurels for doing things like temple events or other events. As an example, say the mobs drop tokens of some sort and you can buy laurels with these tokens. This would help bring people to Orr as they can buy ascended jewelry or mats, ect, with tokens. There are a number of people who would like more laurels but can’t play everyday or their guilds are too small to get the commendations.

I found the sword to be very difficult to use as a starting weapon. I did much better with greatsword and staff while leveling. I use sword now at level 80 but I don’t think its a good weapon for a person who is still learning combat in this game.
Agreed OP. this is the reason why my engineer doesn’t have a vanity back piece. When I got the sclerite back piece I tried it on my engineer and it would appear and disappear as I used and stopped using kits. Until they make it an option to not show the engineer kit backpacks, she won’t have a vanity back piece.
What they could do is put some more time between the last event and when the SB spawns. Just make it about 2 to 3 minutes, enough time to get from the last event to the spawn site. I’ve tried to do the pre-events before and barely make it back in time to tag the boss. A slow connection means it takes a bit to waypoint. Enough time that getting back is a problem.
(Shrug) I didn’t know what a curb stomper was before today but its kind of hard to believe you made the name up completely at random. Usually when someone makes a name, they have some meaning in mind, which is why I asked you. You said you just put 2 words together, I suppose at random, without any meaning meant. If I had chosen the name Curb Stomper, or some variation, innocently. I would have some idea what I personally meant by that name. Some sort of reason. People don’t normally pick totally meaningless names. The reason for the name may be frivolous or personal, but not meaningless.
Since you thought your name was meaningless and you now know what the meaning is, you shouldn’t have any problem with changing it. ^^
I didn’t know you could get Fine SK with karma… worth looking into.

So, if Fine SK gives more than 1.9398 dust per ecto, that is more profitable than MSK. Maybe yes, maybe no, but I don’t have high hopes. MSK are just so cheap compared to ecto and dust.
Yah. Fine salvage kits can be bought with karma from some of the cultural weapon sellers. The Charr in Black Citadel and human in Divinities Reach for sure. I use fine for general salvaging.
I move the merchant window so that the buy button appears in the same location as the confirmation button. That way, it’s just a double click for purchase: no mouse movement necessary!

Apparently the IP will show for an area around you. When you get a strange site, check to see if the IP is the same as your IP. If it is, then that is you.
The first time I used the email authentication, I got the name of some strange city some distance away from me. I checked the IP then and it was the same. So, it’s not a firm physical address that the authentication sees , but an IP area. And it will pick some physical spot within that IP area at random to say it is your location because it can’t see your physical location, just an IP area.
Also, there seems to be more than just one IP, but several of them attached to your area. So the site you are coming from will seem to vary based on that.
You didn’t happen to vender anything did you? It’s possible to sell things by accident.
The skin item doesn’t have a value, so that can’t be vendored.
If it’s transmuted then it’s another story.
I assume since he was going to put it back on that he had already transmuted it. It seems unlikely a piece of armor would just disappear. Which makes me wonder if he didn’t accidentally sell or salvage it. Since he says not merching, then salvage? Or maybe used the mystic forge?
Well, if it disappeared out of inventory from a bug, then contact support and see if they can give you another. Or maybe tell you what happened to it.
It’s a nice idea but basically, they don’t want you to convert karma to money, which you could do by selling the mats. It’s why they removed some karma food items from the chef, because people were using karma to make chili pepper poppers and then selling them.
People converted karma to gold and were banned, then ANet removed chili peppers as a karma item from the chefs. These people were making 25 silver per stack of poppers and were banned. One single T6 blood may be more than that.

I’m afraid I don’t understand a couple of your points.
One, how would dueling break events? If people are dueling and not doing the event then scaling doesn’t apply to them, no more than someone af’k in an event area. The event only sees people who are doing the event. And if they get aggro from event mobs, then they will have to stop dueling to deal with it. At that point they are doing the event.
The other was, clog waypoints. How would they clog waypoints? You can still travel even if people are standing on a waypoint. And what difference does it make if people duel on top of a waypoint or somewhere else?
And for heavens sake, don’t threaten them with legal action unless you want it tied up forever with lawyers. Once you do that, it’s goodbye support and hello legal affairs.
First, only one ticket. Every time you make a new ticket it slows then down. They handle it first and all they do is merge or close them out. Close all the new tickets and only update the first one as needed.
Second, you didn’t say when this happened but they need several hours to a day or so. If it happened today that you got your account back, you need to let them work on it. If you don’t hear from them in 3 days then post on the 3 days and older stickied thread. Be sure to put your ticket number. They can’t help you without it.
Maybe not. Many players have multiples of them I had 5 and sold 4, just from 3 days of playing. With such a glut on the market, it may be years before it goes up.
For all the people who say, they should be rare in order to be special. I don’t care if its rare or not. If I am trying for a particular look for one of my toons, I don’t care if you have that same look. I want to be able to look at my character and be satisfied with her appearance. As for RNG from the gem store, if I put down actual money then I want to actually buy it, not a chance for it. I haven’t bought the RNG boxes from the gem store with either real money or game money since the first time they came out and I lost the loot roll multiple times. I don’t consider it fun to buy something, unwrap it, and find junk inside.
Taffies will not drop to 1c. People would rather buy food with them and sell the food later.
Yeah. Right now the dragonfly cupcake is selling for 60 copper each at a time when it’s free and easy to make. When the event ends, this will likely go up as its a cheap alternative to omnomberry tarts. I certainly haven’t sold any candy. Been converting each one I get to the food.
Yeah. If a person deletes all their characters they can transfer to any non full server in the same region (North America or Europe). Don’t have any soulbound items in the bank. If the character is gone, you can’t take them out or delete them.
Your wrong on two points Astral. When deleting all characters you can transfer from NA to EU or from EU to NA, just as in a paid transfer. You can delete soulbound items in the bank if you dont have that character any longer. Just drag the item outside the bank window. In some cases you have to type the name of the item, but it will be destroyed.
Oh? I thought you could only get on a server from where you bought the game. The other one was from a thread where a guy deleted a character then said he couldn’t delete a soulbound item in the bank. Oh well, good to know. :-)
It’s only like 3500 zhaitaffy a day, assuming you started on day one. If you didn’t, well it’s a few more. That’s only around 150 an hour, assuming you play 24 hours a day for 28 days straight without a bathroom break even. Perfectly doable. Not seeing any grind here. ^^
As for buying them at the end of the event, many people are buying the cheap 30% magic find food with them or the 40% condition damage food or the plus 200 power and critical damage food on kill as well as wanting to buy candy for the wings. This may keep the prices from dropping too low. If they do drop down to 1 copper then 100k should cost 10 gold. If its 2 copper per, then 20 gold.
My guess that the logic of only for parties, it is so you can coordinate attacking the same foe. However it would be nice to be able to target when solo. If you have something targeted and drop target for some reason, it allows you to easily get the target back.

Strange. For me, starting one minute before the auto kick, I get red messages in chat every 10 seconds warning me that I need to resume play or be kicked. Aren’t you getting these messages?
I turned off the character voices at the start (dialogue volume to zero) and it improved the game tremendously. It means you don’t hear the repetitious phrases the NPCs say as well as the one billionth time your character says something like “I can outrun a centaur” but you still hear in game music.
I think they were hoping that this would be something guilds would do as it requires some coordination to it done. Kind of leaves the area in limbo tho if this doesn’t happen. I tried to get into a town to buy some ori harvesting tools with karma. No way. Infested with karka and the NPCs all dead.

So, i created trial gw account and managed to link it to gw2 one, I got 3 points for linking I think, how can i access my HoM and choose what I want to get from it??
You don’t choose what you want to get from it. Each point is tied to an item, sometimes 2 items. The first 3 points are 3 pieces of armor. I don’t remember which 3 and the calculator seems to be messed up at the moment.
Edit: I really doubt you will have access to the HoM with a trial account but you can always try.
I have 8 level 80s and I play all of them. Does this mean I can have 8 extra bank tabs? How about someone with 30 plus character slots (and yes there are people with that many or more) can they get a bank tab for each?
It would be more reasonable, I think, to just be able to buy more bank slots in general. If you want to dedicate one to a character then you can.
The helmet is prett cool. I have it in my warrior and necro. Sort of wish there was a female version with more slender horns, but other than that I’m happy with it.
avatara is saying that zhaitaffy will maintain a value above 2 copper because they can be exchanged for food that shares stats with traditionally expensive food buffs.

The vender really really does not need to ask us if we are sure when we want to spend 5 Zhaitaffy to buy something. The first time I had a stack and a half of Zhaitaffy and I just wanted to hit buy multiple times, not buy, verify, buy, verify…. the candy is cheap and easy to get. It doesn’t require a verification step. If I accidentally spend 5 candies on the wrong item, I will bravely accept the loss and not make a support ticket asking ANet to refund it.
To me, the shatterer wing animation looks more like a hovering flapping animation than a flying one. Like when the holograph dragon stops flying and stays in one spot.
