I think I read that if its all karma, not a mix of karma and cash pieces, you can put it in the mystic forge.

Hopefully, when they make expansions they will increase the number of Ranger pets for new animals native to the areas. For example, Elona had crocodiles and Cantha had white tigers that you could tame, as well as others. Just by doing this they could increase the number of ranger pets.
If you got the glory and the influence bonuses each time you made a character you could make one, use the bonuses, delete, make another, use the bonuses, delete…….
They are one time account bound to keep people from using them to get infinite amount of glory and influence without even bothering to play PvP or PvE.
As for the mini Rytlock, who knows why every character can’t have one. Maybe they wanted to restrict it a little to make it more special.
Lol. They may have lifted your ban but you have NO constitutional rights in game, only legal rights. Constitutional rights are how the government treats you, not how a company treats you.
It’s an interesting suggestion. For then to do it however, they would have to expand the ranger pet panel. Not itself a problem, but all the people who complain about Pay to Win would have something else to complain about because they can’t fill the panel and get all the pets without spending money in the gem store.
Ah. Don’t know about that. I rather thought I was able to log on as invisible and then pm back and forth with people, but it’s been a while. I know I was able to talk to and party up with someone that the game had made offline today and that was different. Before if the game made them offline, I couldn’t pm them until they logged off and back on.
Report all the NPCs making racists remarks so that ANet can ban them from the game. It might make the world a trifle empty once it’s emptied out of all it’s racists NPCs, but my goodness, think how happy all Salad Heads, Bookahs, and Meats will be.
A Dev already said in a thread a few days ago that they might make the kitten slightly smaller.

We’ll look into making it slightly smaller compared to adult cats but it still won’t be tiny compared to other minis.
All mini’s are built to roughly a common size relative to each other. They are intended to be toys or doll-like and not real creatures with real proportions (there aren’t really hundreds of miniature Logan Thackeray’s being born and sold into slavery. )

If they have you on their friends list and also have game messages enabled in chat then when you log on it says in chat, accountname.1234 is logged on. It will also tell them when you log off and if they check the guild panel they can see where you are, even if you are listed as invisible.
I wish they could bring back, as a cash shop item even, some of the Guild Wars 1 minis. Especially the holiday ones, such as the mini celestial dragon, which I loved.
Every time someone uses The Dreamer, invisible rainbow colored unicorn mounts are set free to run loose in the world. The evil reef riders enslave them and ride around on them. Every time you kill one you free a unicorn, to gallop around Tyria again.
There is a saying I read, “your right to swing your fist ends where my nose begins”. ANet has decided that your right to curse in game ends where other people can see it. If you want to curse, you can do it as much as you like at home, say whatever you like. In game, their rules restrict you. There are a number of games that allow cursing in chat. If this is what is most important to you, maybe you should try them out and only play GW when you can restrain yourself.
The current gates to LA could have a menu to select the city the player wants to visit.
If they do something like this, you will probably need to speak to an Asuran gate engineer and then pay a fee for him to retune the gate to your destination.
For a few days, not sure how many, instead of a chance to salvage 0 to 3 ectos, it apparently was 0 to 1 ectos. Making salvage about 0.5 per rare on average rather than 0.9.
To those who are saying it’s an easy puzzle… That’s not really helpful.
The puzzle is easy if you’re good at jumping puzzles, and your frame rate can hold up agains the geysers and you can twitch a bit etc etc etc.
I’ve managed it a few times, but it took me a very long time to finish it the first time and even now I have to try for a bit before I get it.
There is usually a mesmer in the area who is happy to port people up so just ask around in map chat. Especially helpful if you’re just trying to get all 11 spots for the Fervid Censor back piece (or whatever it is called, I don’t remember).
You only need 10 for the Back piece, not 11. So you can skip the puzzle unless you want the achievement.
I loved how you could customize the UI to how you liked it. Move things around. I had my skill bar moved to the top of the screen there, as that felt more natural to me. Also, if you didn’t like parts of the UI, you could turn them off. Your screen was as cluttered or streamlined as you wanted.
Lol. I haven’t counted up all my deaths in this game, but in Guild Wars 1, it was something like 4000 deaths on my main. I think I was averaging 2 or 3 deaths a day. Lol. Those things don’t matter, not as long as you are having fun. :-)
Sorry to hear about your dog, it hard to lose them. But if she was sick, the kindest thing sometimes is to let them go. They don’t understand why they are suffering and it’s probably more of a burden to them than a human because they don’t have a way to think around it. If possible, I would recommend you get another dog. It may seem callous to get one right away, but there are a lot of good dogs that need a home. And you could give one a home in memory of and in honor of the one that died.
After Seasoned wood, there is literally ONLY 1 item to craft, and that’s Gift of Wood. As a result wood has flooded the market and become pointless to own.
Will Anet respond and fix this unsensible imbalance, where higher tier items are worth less per unit vs their lower tiered crafting items?

You don’t get the problem i’m trying to point out, which is that THERE ISN’T ANYTHING TO CRAFT WITH HARD WOOD AND ANCIENT WOOD compared to other crafting materials, which is stupid
Isn’t ancient wood used when making exotic and destroyer weapons? And hard wood when making low level rare weapons?
tbh ArenaNet should be focusing on armor skins in the gem shop rather than town clothes. I’m so over the town clothes thing, like hardly anyone even seems to bother with them and I know that I have no interest whatsoever in anything I can’t wear in combat, and neither do pretty much anyone I play with. Nobody seems to understand or even like this town clothes obsession they’ve got going on… so it’s a big giant waste of resources compared to armor skins.
Lord, isn’t that the truth. I haven’t bought even one item of town clothes. I want stuff I can wear in combat.
In Guild Wars 1, I could switch between different costumes, I could use perfect salvage kits (which were cheap and easy to get) and transfer stats between different sets of armor (max armor that was cheap to get, in comparison to this game. My Ritualist had multiple armor sets she could wear). Last but not least, I could use tonics that changed my appearance but let me keep my stats and skills. There were multiple ways to change the way I looked, on a whim. Why, in this game, in a game about cosmetics and appearance, is it so hard to change the way I look?
Yeah, because it costs 40 silver to switch each time to a third after you get 2 on one character it’s much better to max out just 2 each by putting them on your alts.
in 1 day the price of the lover and spark went up 400 gold. There were 3, all bought by 1 guy, all relisted again for significantly higher. That’s market manipulation.
That’s interesting. How did you find out they were all bought by one guy who did this? And that they were bought and relisted. I know you must have a way to determine this as otherwise your remark is simply idle speculation.
Though I have been critical in this forum of some design elements, I think overall it’s a great game.
Forums are generally negative because they are where people go who want changes made. This wasn’t my find but it is worth reposting as it is true of all forums.
Any changes would have to take into account people who have already bought the armor and like the look. Maybe if they added new skins to the tabs rather than remaking the old skins. The new ones could cost more karma also.
Instead of a white flag when you run away, how about an animation where you grow a long bushy tail which then tucks itself between your legs as you run off. ^^
Could also be used by PvEers who just want to capture POIs and skill points.
I like the bags of loot. After the fight, hold down Ctrl and they all pop up, bags of loot in yellow letters. I know it’s because we don’t actually kill them so there is no body to loot, but they could still put this in regular PvE. It’s a lot more visible than faint sparkles and the bodies could despawn quickly leaving the loot bags behind.
They may also increase the size of the servers again. You can do it then. In addition, sometimes servers change from full to very high late at night. It wouldn’t hurt to check periodically late night to early morning.
You said you are having fun with the Mesmer in sPvP but not outside of it. You should be aware that Mesmers have a reputation for not getting good until after about level 40. If the problem is that your Mesmer feels weak now, you should keep this in mind.
Yeah. I would buy a fern hound puppy mini. Especially if it has the animation where it rolls over on its back and hearts come off it, like the fern hound puppies in the heart quest in Caledon.
The appearance, from the picture I saw didn’t say Kitten to me. Kittens have short bodies and legs with large heads. The mini has a large head but the body length is long, like a cat. Kittens also have short spike tails that they tend to have raised, the mini’s tail is down. Also, the body looks too sturdy, a kitten’s body is more delicate.
