Rampage isn’t OP compared to what’s currently out there….it’s good at holding a point for a bit but 1v1 it’s hardly a god.
Nobody uses Rampage to 1v1. TCG managed to 3-man wipe to rampage at the start of a match vs oRNG on legacy, so it’s obviously pretty powerful.

And the damage is nothing, nobody’s going to facetank tornado especially when it has no swiftness and can’t clear immob.
why wouldnt you use the moa on the tool belt skill on both? You just beat them both with your tool belt skill.
Also in a 1 vs1 rampage wins but in my teams experience Lich is better for team fights.
Lich insta-dies in a team fight partly due to the fact that CC spam works quite well vs its 1 pulsing stack of stability. It also doesn’t have the ability to res, stomp, CC spam people trying to res/stomp, nor does it have perma swiftness for kiting or chasing thigns that kite and it doesn’t have the reduced immob/cripple/chill durations.
Rampage would win for sure. Rampage is actually able to CC lich form because lich form only has 1 stack of stab, so 2 CCs will CC it and rampage has so many CCs, whereas lich can’t CC rampage. Rampage also has that 25% incoming damage reduction that lich form doesn’t.
First off to anyone who says this update made Rampage viable – that’s not true at all. Rampage was always the go-to elite for greatsword builds even before the patch (watch any of Rom’s streams pre-patch), the thing that was made viable was the greatsword build itself. This change in warrior meta was a combination of shoutbow being shut out as well as GS warriors being able to spec fully into Strength for a total of 50% damage increase and additional might while retaining the compulsory traits within the Defence and Discipline line.
Rampage was fine before the patch, strong enough to be taken over battle standard in a greatsword spec. Now it’s got this stupid 30% damage increase, 120s CD and CD on all skills within it.

Whenever you gain a condition, all foes in the area gain that same condition. You sacrifice 5% maximum Health each time this happens.
So basically, you insta-die in a team fight since there’s is constant aoe condi application and cleansing spam.

For example, even if someone chooses a “glass cannon” build, they shouldn’t be downed in one or two hits. It’s just, boring and un-fun.

It’s only in unranked mode.
Unranked mode is for casual non-tryhard play.
So don’t take the map seriously and have fun trolling people while avoiding other people’s trolls.

For good or bad, Gw2 is too fast paced to really say all of the plays and all the interactions occurring. The viewer must have understanding on how mechanics work beforehand in order to enjoy the game play. If you don’t know the skills being used it is really easy for the uneducated viewer to just see skills being spammed.
Same can be said for a lot of games though…
Are you insane? Yes let’s the treb to hit an area that’s guarenteed to hit almost every player and is already filled with your own NPCs, thus making it impossible for even 5 people to finish the lord. On top of this it rips stability before knocking down, making it impossible for anyone to finish the lord without elixir S or mist form.
The point of the treb isn’t to defend lord, it’s to insta-kill doorbreakers and their escorts.
Bunker guardian is unplayable in pvp due to weak damage. Oh wait…

I don’t believe in playing multiple classes. You’re more prone to excelling in one, then choosing multiple and trying to excel in all those at once. It’s not laziness, it’s being smart.
Then it doesn’t matter which other 2 classes you choose since you’re so good at that class you’ll beat everyone else who multiclasses with that one class.

Make blind on shatter grandmaster and swap it with confusion on interrupt. This will force the mesmer to choose between personal defense (blind), utility (mantra) or dps (clone on dodge).
im running mace/sh hammer, so I actually have less cc when i pop rampage
