I like the idea! I don’t like the dungeons or fractals but maybe, one day, they’ll have an interesting place like FOW or DOA was from GW1. On that day I’ll want to go exploring and I don’t want to have to wait on, or wade through other players to do it.

I prefer doing things myself (roaming in WvW, etc.) but most instanced things can’t be done that way.

Zero. I will not grind for the piles of needed materials for the sake of getting it.

If its not fun, I won’t do it.

GW does not caters to explorers. We’re left looking at vast tracks of unopened areas.

My guess is that we won’t see her interrupt Wintersday, but we’ll have to deal with the poorly presented, weak excuse of a villain before hand and afterwards.

I hope the powers that be give us some free form filtering options for the chats so we can eliminate this garbage.

After extensive research i can now say with certainty, that neither FA nor DB have a single not horrendously bad player between them. I am truly dissapointed in the effort these servers have put forward to not be this horrendously bad. That is all.

FA has a few good players amongst their hordes. Most are just bags on feet. Must be a side effect of being a bandwagon destination.

DB has a many more good players among them.

Its a real annoyance. I hope they’re working on something and that they at least tell us that they’re on the case.

While I don’t participate in the train and I’ll snipe a champion if I am in the area, I also have no problem with the train running around. Let people play the way they want.

Let them have their fun.

The only ascended weapon I have is from a Teq drop. I won’t grind for materials or waste money (in game or otherwise) for such a minor increase in offense/defense.

With that said, its a good addition for the players who like this kind of stuff. It’ll keep them busy for awhile.

They said something along the lines that they would try. They also said depending on how things go, it would be one of the things they’d push back.

I’d wait for just about forever to get a precursor crafting enhancement if they’d write that kitten twig out of the game.

I was talking last night with Boo Boo Boo Boo of whatever the name was. hahaha He told me that Star Playa was his 7 year old cousin. He said, “I showed him how to put up siege now that’s all he wants to do”. But for some odd reason, when I kept inviting Star Playa to join me, he kept declining then put his player in the offline mode. Sitting in a mob waiting for Teq I saw a pet name that was clearly reportable (it would get replaced by ‘kitten’ if I tried to include it on the forum). But I had no obvious way to report it. The owner was in the mob someplace so I couldn’t pick her out.

Is there a way to do that kind of report now? If not, please put one in.

A solution could be to have a system that suppresses whispers if they contain certain words and let the users setup whatever words they want included. Or explicitly suppress whispers that contain the website name that they include (that we’ve all seen spammed to us).

I’ve never had a subscription service and I never will. I’ve bought my wife a couple gem cards the last year or so but none for myself. Nothing in the gem store that I can’t earn enough gold to exchange for.

Hate the character, and not in a good way. She’s poorly written and presented.

Prime time, not prime time, it doesn’t matter. Those FA hordes drops bags all day long. Its been a bit tougher to wrest the bags from DB due to their general higher skill level than FA, but the bags are just as nice..

Now that I have all those FA bags sorted out and their entrails cleaned off my boots, its time to face the FA hordes of mediocrity again.

The plot points are set in stone so youll have to wait for her story to be over so stop complaning and actually post something constructive so they do better on the next story. They are not going to give us dragon after dragon after dragon because that would get old as well and they want to save those for bigger things probably their form of expansions

Its hard to be constructive when the point of many of us is “Make Scarlet go away” and Anet wants to just jam more and more of it down our throats. Its past the time when that character could have been salvaged. Anet is doing nothing to speed up her demise and is going to march to their own drummer no matter how many customers they tick off.

Tyria is being re-shaped around a character that the playerbase can’t even like. Classic example where it seems like the writers are treating their favourite characters like their own kids, spoilering them by re-shaping the entire content around those characters, at the cost of everything else.

The writers are not very good and the company doesn’t have the integrity to do anything about it.

I can’t rate this latest LS. I refuse to participate when that horrific character is involved.

The writing of this characters has been…. pathetic…. I can’t use a stronger words on this forum and anything less doesn’t do justice to how awful Scarlet is as a character.

Anet pretty much makes the claim that they just can’t change anything very fast because of how long the stories take to develop. There is an old saying, when you’re in the hole, stop digging. She’s worthless – stop using her as the reason behind EVERYTHING!

I can only guess that whoever was the author behind that :shudder: piece is also the author of the :shudder: Scarlet fiasco.

I’m so looking forward to the flood of bad FA players next week. This weeks crop has gotten stale.

I disagree. While there are things that should have been different about it – no toxic yada yada dumped in half way through the league, no achievement points etc, I thought it was ok.

The single biggest change I would make would be to the final matchup. Leave that one open to be the top 3 scorers from the prior six weeks. That match-up finale would be the final positions 1-2-3. Do the same for the other matchups and that gives a server who may have had an off week or two a chance to jump up a couple places.

You must have missed last night when we (SBI) completely overran the DB bl. We owned everything in sight. However, BP’s bl was not fully overrun. I’m sure there were Dragonbrand members saying that we were in cahoots with BP.

Coverage isn’t always consistent throughout the day on every BL by any of our servers. I know we have higher, but it still fluctuates.

I doubt people would waste much time here if they didn’t like the game. The complaints most are making are an attempt to make the game better. So, KILL SCARLET and it will be better =)

There are devs in WvWvW that don’t put up there tags and some that do (sometimes). They’re out there and I don’t doubt they’re well aware of the pain points we have.

Doesn’t mean they can get it addressed fast enough for most of us, but they know.

Is the problem in the Duo source or the scripting done in Duo…. Always tricky to track down those bugs.

Swap Tybalt for Trahhern and the PS would have been a 100 times better.

It would be cool to have word filters to catch things like that.

I still don’t get why they give us this huge map area, but we can only go to fifty percent of it after more than a year in release. Having Scarlet living story releases sucking manpower from something interesting like expanding the world has been a real downer.

Sadly, there isn’t much more unless you like that tediously boring Scarlet. They occasionally work in some decent temporary content, but most of it gets old after a few hours.

The holiday content is a hit or miss (Mad King and Trixx last year was awesome) the Bloody Prince this year was a weak sauce so coming back in December to see they do would be a good idea.

Otherwise, wait another year and maybe, just maybe, they’ll actually expand the continent and content of Tyria with something permanent and exciting.

What we learned was Anet is going to continue to use this boring character. We can try an come up with some plausible explanations of why Scarlet even exists, but the reality is a much simpler answer. The writers are just not very good.

You want zerging to stop? Don’t do it and convince your server mates to do the same. If they don’t agree, they’ll continue to do what they want – which is apparently to zerg.

As for the Krait Hybrid, we’ll all kill it multiple times before this event is over.

I gave up the idea of ever having a legendary months ago. When people are getting multiples and long time players don’t get jack, it was time to just not be concerned with them. I’ll just enjoy how the skins look on other players.

The only thing they brought from GW1 was the lore (and then proceeded to butcher that with Scarlet crap). They left behind to many good ideas. That’s not to say that they didn’t introduce some fun stuff like WvWvW. That needs polish and some fixes, but its still fun.

I have been getting game freezes followed a few seconds later by a crash in EB the last several days. The only other commonality is my sound disappears about ten minutes before this happens.

I don’t get this behavior in any other zone – PVE, PVP or any other BL. Just in EB.
