if you won the 1v1 before you got +1d is ok. if you won the 1v2 before you got +2’d also means you carried your weight plus some. however once you win 1v2’s you usually automatically get your team like 250 points.

There seems to some usage of macros going on in spvp lately. It isn’t that hard to spot. Not going to name names. Curious as to if Anet actually checks into this issue or not.
I honestly dont know any usage for macros except lich stomps.

Ive always had problems with latency, however, my in game latency and my speedtest latency have always been similar, so I’m not sure what problem youre having.

a tl; dr explanation would be:
if you win, you usually + 1 ladder point,
because you will not defeat teams better than you.if you lose, you usually -1 ladder point,
because the other team is better than you.however, if the other team had a slightly higher chance to defeat you, but you lost the match anyway but somehow managed to score at least 400 team points, you will get + 1 ladder point for that lost.
So i can play all day and don’t move on leader at all! Nice!
well, if you play all day, but do not win many matches, then yes, you will not move up the ladder at all.

honestly the self inflicted poison for 6s, corrupt 1 boon every 9s is balanced.

Well the problem with this trait atm is that it’s kinda uncontrolable due to the passive virtue of justice triggering it and that it just removes the last applied boon without priority on anything.
A simple change that would make this trait good would be removing 2 boons on targets arround you when you use virtue of justice with priority on something relevant like stability, might or protection.
This would be a bit too strong for a adept trait though and seing how boon remove on shatter and boon remove on steal are in master slots it should probably be a master trait if they would buff it.
actually i feel like removing 2 boons on virtue of justice active (just the person the active hits though) targetting prot and might would be a perfect buff for this trait. I’d take out my vigor for it probably.

medi guard is strong vs mes/thief comps but completely horrible vs celestial comps. you will only see it in EU until a full celestial team pops up and destroys him.
hammer and scepter aren’t even the most viable weapons vs a mesmer/thief anyway.. medi is just that strong against it.
r idea is letting you keep your pub team through the next queue if you won.

After 2 member couldn’t attend WTS, the abjured then replaced two players. After replacing 2 players the Abjured still beat every team in the world with substitutes. The roster was then changed following the WTS. Now, yes it had 3 celestial amulets. Did good fights dominate the NA scene before WTS? Yes. Before Celestial amulet was even introduced! The abjured comp is now 3/5 previous Good Fights. TBH as a berserker amulet i can 1v1 any “celestial amulet” player in this game and atleast go 50/50 win percentage. From a world champion I would advise you to rethink your team composition and tighten up on your rotations before blaming everything on a “amulet”. Also look at your individual player skill, and ask yourself do you honestly believe you can go toe to toe with players such as the Abjured and Absurd.
Now, do I believe celestial could have a few percentages shaved off the total stats? Yes. Does it need to be totally deleted? No. I believe hybrid builds should exist, although they shouldn’t be the most powerful in any stat. They should utilize defensive and offensive tactics in order to be successful. Which I believe they do well now, but could use just a little toning down(not much since I can beat them as a zerker amulet.)

also remember bountiful theft steals stab/aegis before everything else so that also has prioritizations
Nullification should not be intended to focus certain classes that hard, but it definitely does need to prioritize (or randomize) the boon it does remove.
I had a list of buffs (and stacks/duration) in a previous thread which I would consider “priority”, and any boon removal sigil should be looking at more than just might.
- Might over 6 stacks
- Stability over 3 seconds
- Protection over 5 seconds
- Fury over 5 seconds
- Vigor over 5 seconds
- Regen over 5 seconds
- Swiftness over 10 seconds
- Retaliation over 10 seconds
Ideally removal should be prioritized in roughly the order above.
The alternative (and probably significantly easier to code) would be to RNG the removal.
DOES TARGET HAVE A BUFF?
- YES: Does target have 1 or more “high priority” buffs?
——- YES: Randomly remove a high priority buff and trigger the internal cooldown.
——- NO: Randomly remove any buff and trigger the internal cooldown- NO: Do nothing

yes individually radioactive is not that great
however I would also like to point out that d/d ele and cele engi are ridiculously easy builds to run. Seriously try to play them in competitive pvp with like 5-15hours and youll do just fine. I consistantly beat people with my <20 hour d/d ele who have played thousands of hours on their classes (I still got rekt by caed in that ESL monthly tho cuz Ive never fought a dp thief on my ele before LOL)hi I’ve been playing competitive pvp for a while

Celestial is honestly probably the best meta this game has ever seen…Lets review
Bunker- no fun, no kills, super slow games
Burst- un-avoidable insta kills, basically who instantly kills the other without counter play
Condi- slowly melt to deathCelestial Combines condis bunker and DPS>>> You can instant kill if you combo, you can overload with condis, you can sustain if grouped up… IE it combines all the play styles into one…. catering to all play types.. This actually allows the greatest build diversity and comp diversity..
backpack is finally someone you notice since engineer is overpowered and now its the best meta ever.
even if 3/8 classes arent used and 2 of 1 class is required

A future nerf to D/D Elementalists is inevitable, something needs to change and I (sorta) trust ANET to eventually make the move to do so. However, please please please keep in mind that there are other builds for ele’s like my fresh air ele which i’ve played for more than a year now straight. It’s already in a tough enough spot and making certain changes to traits could really make us even less viable. You can actually gain Ladder points if your team is expected to lose and score only about 150 points, but instead gets 300 points…and loses!
Yeah but if our team is expected to win every time we’ll get 1 point per game. Then we’ll need to play a game for every point we want.. and if we do lose it’ll be like -3
