When they do rebuild it, I too hope they go for a more Old Lions Arch look. LA in Guild Wars was a beautiful city, well I really liked it anyway. I hope they rebuild the light house too.
Very interesting. It’s very possible as a lot of the land was unexplored in Guild Wars by humans dew to hostile races and wildlife.
On a side note, would the undead in Guild Wars be the first minions of Zhitan? And kilbran like a Dragon champion/worshiper?
Im pretty sure Backpacks are this game’s primary cosmetic. Unless Anet decides to start making tons and tons of armor sets for different classes, backpacks are their primary cosmetic choice beyond Weapon Skins.
Think about it, Guild Wars prides itself on being a game that doesn’t focus on gear being the main focus, instead your character and how that character looks is. So they get the necessary gear out of the way (capped at Ascended for now) and start focusing on cosmetic skins. Now they do have some armor skins, but the main thing they pump out are back packs and weapon skins. These are the items you will see that can make your character different from others. Like the few people who have the Shattered Wings back piece. These skins most likely won’t be available forever, so getting them gives characters a piece of cosmetic gear that makes their characters unique later on in the game’s life.
I hope they do start making some unique armor sets for each class though. It would be awesome, especially since they had things like that in Guild Wars 1 (I rocked the Primeval Set on my Elementalist and I loved it to death)
Gear progression. That’s what they claim. Not gear it’s self. If that where true they would not have introduced the wardrobe.

I was wondering if she ment she was going to do something epic while I was away. But no, she didn’t. And Rox, it was a cake walk. Probably won’t be a year down the line when I’m doing it with a newly levelled alt.
Just change your build. It’s free to do its it’s not a big deal. I change my build/gear all the time. I’m just glad there are not a lot of armour sets I like in GW2. In GW I had 13 sets on my main. Plus weapons to go with them. I only have 3 on my main and 2 on my guard in GW2.
I fall right on the fence on this topic. As long as this is permanent content and we can try for as long as we’d like to get the fossils —> skins then I am okay with it being a RNG drop and working hard/getting lucky.
However, if the chests/keys are going to disappear once the season is over or whenever, then I think its a little ridiculous to make something only possible to get through RNG.
But I would warn all that want them to be tradable that if they really are decently hard to come by you are going to have to pay a cost to get them.
My final argument is this, if an item is only available in game and only by RNG then it should be permanent. If it is only or also available on gem store (and probably available again later) then it can be temporary and RNG.
RNG is VERY necessary. If everything is just handed and/or sold to us easily then what is the satisfaction in EVER getting something super rare or nice? :\
There has been plenty that’s been RNG that’s only been available via the LS. Back item skins and minies from chests like in the Tower of Nightmares. So done be too shocked if they vanish.
I did all but 3 of the achievements on episode 1, but I’ve passed on doing the rest as they just reward you with junk. I might do the. If I’m flow to getting an AP chest, but they do not intrest me at all. Some sound fun, others just sound like they where made to kitten you off when you so often.

It is a back pack, just like the spine blade. You’ll craft this. The. Use this plus more mats, then use that, plus more mats. Until you get to the infused version. As I said this is nothing new, just a different skin and diffrent method. I just wish I could sell my parts I’ve got. I’ll not be making it, but I’ll keep them incase they get use somewhere else. Like all the 90+ blade shards I have on my main.
Why are we still getting back items? I’m sure we have more than enough. We already have a time gated back back. Remember the spine blades? LS1 had what 5 back packs, not including the God back pack respires. Not to mention I personally think it’s ugly. Some people might like it but I for one don’t. I’m not against time gated stuff. But back packs have been done to death in session one. Couldn’t we have just forgotten back items, and just kept building an armour set

I would like to see a world boss timer in game, and any trait events. The rest I can live with out. Though it can be annoying when you get to an event just as it completes. So knowing how long an event is buy maybe a colour change of the event as it move to completion. Maybe be green orange and red?
LS2 is good, but at the cost of messing up the PS flow. So far LA is rubble and now Concordia is splintered wood. So unless you played from launch you will never be able to play the PS “as intended” dew to the, or what at this point seems to be, mishmash of overlapping story’s in the open world. ANet have already said they don’t know how to “fix” it so you done lose the feel of the story. But as it stands now if your not playing LS2, things are going to look really odd.
I don’t know why they use places that are in the PS. It not like there are not other pact forts they could have used that are not a part of the PS. It’s really going to be story braking once I get my next alt to Concordia and they are a ting like nothing’s wrong. And I’m going to be looking at a splintered fort full of vines and everyone’s talking about Zhitan while I’m thinking the vine that is hanging the Vigil soldier behind you says you have a bigger problem here than Zhitan. Or better still just make a new instance map for that one part. That way it’s not braking the story. Then, next time stay away from places that involve the PS. It’s no hard. The world is big enough. But then ANet could have done the sensible thing and kept the story to the new zones. But the. They have forever changed already in a completely story braking way already. So I guess if you are not here from day you everything is just going to be a mess for ever.
As LA slowly returns to “normal” what shape will the city take? I’ve been wondering this for sometime now. Will it be build around the remains of the Breach Maker or take another form. I’m intrested on what the community feels the new shape/look should be.
I’ve considered a few.
1) a rebuild to how it looked pre attack.
2) building around the wreckage of the Breach Maker using parts of it for buildings.
3) a return to the original look of LA from Guild Wars (I would love to see this but find it the most unlikely.)
4) it will always look like it is now. Just a little “cleaner”
Despite all this, I’m pretty sure this attempt by Rytlock will fail, and it will make things even worse for a time. Then in some later episode someone with Ascalonian royal blood in his/her veins will eventually lift the curse, truly freeing Ascalon from Adelbern’s madness.

The build diversity is the same in both games.
GW1 had more skills, sure, but the majority were underpowered and never even used in the first place.
GW2 has less skills, but makes up for it with traits and expanded gear compared to gw1. If two builds used the same skills/utilities but had different traits/gear, those two builds would be played very differently.Additionally, gw1 and gw2 were made by completely different people. Don’t let the ArenaNet name fool you. Almost everyone who set the foundations of GW1 had left the company by the time GW2 got into the picture.
Uhm, no. In GW I could choose to use my pet or not, choose to run traps or not, I could even choose which skills I used to DPS. GW was waaaaay more diverse in builds than GW2, and that’s just Ranger. Each profession had 5-10 builds they could run and still do well(even in HA/TA/RA). Yes there were “prefered” builds for PvP but you still had 3-4x the builds you could choose from.
Toucher rangers! Got I hated them in AB’s. I did like the additions of PVE skills. I used some on my warrior to add blinding I the build. I never bothered with GWPvX build guides. I much proffered to find my own way. I did love how much pain my RoJ cryer monk could do. And my warrior before the Ursan nerf.
I do wish I could change my weapon skills in GW2. It would be nice to use more than 2 weapon skills when I’m using my GS in a dungeon.
I hope they’ll do it some time. The people who played GW1 can have them for free and have them free to apply, the ones that didn’t play that game can pay for it and get it too and have to spend charges. Everyone happy.
I’d like to get me some HoM skins but I’m not going to play a completely different game that is 10 years old, outdated, doesn’t seem like a fun game to me and as far as I heard isn’t even a MMO.
Get for free? I had to Buy the game to get the skins. Hardly free. I think you need to look up the definition of free.
Anet said they would be exclusive, compensating us for losing literally five, six years of accumulation. All the best armor and weapons, gone. All our money. Gone. We all had to start over, in a game we never really asked for.
It’s not really that much of a perk to be honest.
Why not keep playing Guild Wars then. It’s still there.
How about because Anet stopped upgrading it, stopped adding to it, stopped coming out with new content. Even I can only play the same stuff so many times.
However, I actually prefer Guild Wars 2 to Guild Wars 1. Which doesn’t mean I didn’t have to start over. And you know, if Anet did upgrade Guild Wars 1, if they hadn’t put it on life support many might still be playing it.
This was supposed to be a Guild War 1 upgrade. If it came out as an upgrade we’d still have everything we worked for.
I never played GW but they actually said this was an upgrade? I think the whole “2” in the name ought to tip people off this is a new game, not an upgrade. All your hard work is still there, you didn’t lose it.
Okay obviously you’re not understanding so I’ll try one more time. Guild Wars 1 players were told there would be an upgrade. It was going to be called Utopia. That was what we were told we would get. Anet scrapped Utopia, the upgrade we actually wanted, to make Guild Wars 2. HAD we gotten Utopia, we’d have new content and everything we worked for. Anet STOPPED upgrading the game we were playing to make this game. No expansions for five years. Five years. And none ever again.
This isn’t an update for Guild Wars 1, but it did replace the update we were told we would get. And that’s why Anet give us some kind of reward.
There are many people who’d rather be playing an updated GW 1 than this game. They have no choice, because Guild Wars 1 isn’t getting any updates…ever.
Wrong. Utopia was canceled. But it was replaced with Eye of the North, then they went on to start work on GW2.
Oh you mean like for people that didnt grind gw1 to the ground back then. So after 2 years of playing gw2 they should go grind a completely different game so they can get a reward in this one. I also have 80% of the skins unlocked and i think its a terribly selfish attitude to keep. Isnt having fun in a great game for so many years enough for you people, you need extra rewards in a new game that nobody else can get ever. Yeah playing a game that belongs to the previous generation and its mostly dead atm is a such a great way to get rewards in the game you wanna play.
I think people that have the skins are only a minority, rebeling wont do much, just like when they decided to unlock legendary skins, and to be honest i think people that had the same legendary 2ice have a lot more valid reason to complain.
Then I’m selfish. I played and still play guild wars. So I’m totalling 8 years. So I’ve played a game for 8 years and I have the skins I’ve earned. Do I have all the skins unlocked for Guild wars 2? No not even close. Do I want to see my fiery dragon sword turn up in the gem store? No I don’t. I love that I stand out. It’s great when people ask me where I got it and how do they get it. I have friends that I’ve made playing guild wars 2 go buy guild wars just to get the skin. So if they can do it why can’t you and other people? I really don’t understand it. Everyone thinks they should be able to have what ever they want and to hell with everyone else. Who more selfish. The people who WORKED for the skins or the people who are acting like entitled children, thinking they should have it all? If ANet ever do put them in the gem store I hope all the people buy is a copy of guild wars. And a message saying “go on. Work for it.”
There’s currently only one place you can plant them. They were probably included more for the people that played GW1 than for any real reason.

I got it and I wasn’t even in the fight. I was killing a champ below it and got the achievement. Granted I did abort an attempt of the achievement in favor of a champ kill.
It would point to corruption. But then did it only happen that way because she is a Sylvai. Would the effects have been different if she had been human? What if a different big bad took hold of her? The story of Guild Wars is a good comparison to show here. For a good chunk of the game we think the Murssat are the big bad, but then at the last moment we find out they are keeping something much more sinister at bay, be it at an price most would not pay. The Titans are the true big bad of the Prophercies story line. If it where not for the Merssat they would have broken through the Door of Kurmaly(or how ever you spell it) and the players where the ones having there strings pulled, just like Scarlet was.
I find it interesting that the only creatures we have seen (thus far) affected by this corruption (dragon or otherwise) are the Sylvari. It’s not like other creatures aren’t available.
Considering we know that the dragons are the “big bads” of the GW2 story, I would be very surprised if Anet twists it into anything even remotely like the Mursaat.
Although, I will argue the whole “we think the mursaat are the big bad” aspect. We don’t even encounter the Mursaat until we get to the Southern Shiverpeaks at basically the end of the game. There really is no “big bad” to defeat until the Lich reveals himself and we feel like chumps. At first its the Charr, then it’s the Shining Blade, then it’s actually the White Mantle. After that it’s all about becoming Ascended to get stronger. Once we get Ascended and continue to the Southern Shiverpeaks, it’s still the White Mantle, and now we meet the Mursaat. After all that, we learn that we’ve been had and the bad guy has been the one making all the suggestions – the Vizier.
While it is true that the Mursaat guard the Door of Komalie, that doesn’t make them “the good guys” either. At that point, they are just in the way to taking out the Lich. The titans aren’t even the “true” big bad. They are just “another” one.
We never fight the shining Blade. We just take it at the White Mantels word that they are the “Bad Guys” we knew something was not right with the Mantel and there Unseen Gods. I think you and I understand the story of Prophercies differently., and that’s fine.

Maybe it really does have nothing to do with Mordi. It’s just highly coincidental that she woke him up in her rampage of insanity.
Edit: Here’s a random thought. After going through Omadd’s machine and becoming ‘Scarlet’, she also gained the ability to grow/summon vines. Something she wasn’t able to do before. I wonder how similar those were to the vines and thorns we’re encountering presently, which we again assume are related to Mordi. It would seem very odd if none of it ended up related in any way.

We know that Scarlet used the Breachmaker to direct a surge of energy from the ley-line to Mordremoths sleeping place. I am wondering if redirecting the flow of magic in the ley-line did not cause it to become permanently connected to Mordremoth. This could potentially allow him to feed on a much more rapid rate than he did.
My guess is that Mordremoth has not awakended yet, he is in a sort of pre-awakening state, and needs more magic to do so. As a dragon connected with plants, he might be using the vines as a root system to suck on magic from every major source (much like Mouths of Zhaitan). Or this might be a sign that a major branch of the ley-line became somewhat corrupted by Mordremoth linked to it.
don’t see this being it either, it goes against scarlets vision/her motive of doing everything she did, if she wanted the pale tree choked by vines she wouldnt prolong mordys awakening, plus the vines isnt just sucking up random magical energy, they ATTACK the pact directly knowing what happened to zhaiten, mordy didnt take any chances of getting pewed pewed, ur theory would hold if it wasnt for the strategized attack against the pact

Mord has been in Scarlet’s mind, it’s pretty safe to assume she knows about Zhaitan’s death unless you’re seriously gonna tell me news like that doesn’t spread fast. Anything Scarlet knew, so did Mord.
That and it was described in the story as being the case for Zhaitan. All of the dragons minions and champions act as conduits for reconnaissance. Not only in assimilating the individual does a dragon learn who they are but also what they know. We also don’t know how long Mord has been active while asleep, as he was only awoken recently but clearly Scarlet had been under his influence (whether sylvari are minions or not) for some time prior.
We do not know if it was Mordi. People keep moaning this with zero evidance to back it up. It’s best guess work. As I said in an earlier post, the voices could be anything. From her just being nuts. To it acutely being Mordi. We do not know. So just saying yeah it’s because he can read her mind is not an answer it’s a guess.
Then why was the breach maker only able to address the jungle dragon when it was only a rumor to exist?
And when she says she sees the pale tree being strangled by a vine, isn’t it odd that vines are appearing in droves in Tangle Root. You’re telling me they have no correlation.
The Breach Maker cut off Mordi’s food supply. Surly he would not want his food cut off. So it could be someone who wants to stop Mordi. Even all the dragons. Just has another way to go about it. Now the vines are spreading out to keep feeding Mordi. Scarlet seems to hate the tree, so she could have done it knowing during the fall out Mordi would kill the tree.
Nothing scarlet did aided Mordi in anyway. So if it was him in her head I’m sure he would have done something far more beneficial like have her army take out the pact. Look at the story of guild wars. We thought the big bad where the Murssat. It turns out the big bad where the Titans. And we where the ones having our strings pulled. What if there is something out there worse than the dragons and where pulling scarlets strings.
Just think about it instead of blindly saying it’s Mordi.

Ok can someone point me to where we found out that Scarlet was talking to Mordi in her mind? Everyone is saying it’s him with out any evidance to back it up and just because it fits with there theories on what’s going on.
There are other possibility’s I will list some below.
1)She was just nuts. She suffered a psychotic brake during the experiment and was just talking to her self.
2)Becoming soundless drove her crazy. Not being connected to the Dream drove her mad. Imagin being to hear so much then nothing. What would that do to you?
3)The Nightmare. I don’t know much about it. But it could have been that, which I turn could also be Mordi and/or his champion.
4)Someone has a said it could be Menzie the Mad. After the drawing that scarlet did looking. Like the map of the domain of anguish.
5)It could be another tree. We know there are more.
6) Mordi it could be him. There is no resin it couldn’t be.
7) It could be something we have not encountered yet.
8) The Murssat. We don’t know if they are all dead. We know of one that was in Kryta that lives. But there is no resin to say the whole race was killed during the Battle for Lions Arch.
I also don’t buy into the mind reading thing. Being a champion or a thrall and the dragon knowing what you do is one thing. Having a mind of your own, or as it seemed that scarlet did I don’t see how he would read her thoughts. She argued that they where her ideas not there’s. To me that means she was having a conversation with someone only she could hear. And seeing as scarlets goal was to tap into the layline I don’t see what Mordi would want his food supply cut off.

I understand the attack on Concordia from a story telling point as it was the birthplace of the Pact. But it’s a base nowhere near a frontline. So it’s probably just got a token troop compliment. With the gates at fort trinity to the HQ’s there is little need for the forts in uncontested areas. If Mordi wanted to do damage he’d be better off attacking Trinity. That it the pact HQ after all.
Don’t know. Until they give us some story behind it, can only speculate. Maybe he can’t reach all the way into Straights for some reason.

The three Ordes have not stopped being what they where. There HQ’s are still very important as places of knowledge, to train new members. Some where to plan battles. The pact formed to take down Zhitan. Out side of Orr, it’s safe to say they still so there own thing as shown with the fall of LA.
The HQs are places of knowledge, and a place to train recruits, true. Where do those recruits go when they are done? The Pact has not dissolved just because it slew Zhaitan. It’s bases are places where those combined forces can gather, and likely do.
I’m not arguing that striking at the HQs would not be a sound decision; however, it is equally sound to strike at the body rather than at the multiple heads if one can only afford a single strike. Different generals have different tactics. Obviously this one seems to think the Pact as a whole is more dangerous than the individual leaders of the orders (considering the “whole” took out his kin, not any one individually). We can only speculate.
Besides, it gives them a means of bringing the pact, and as such your order, back into the story.
I understand the attack on Concordia from a story telling point as it was the birthplace of the Pact. But it’s a base nowhere near a frontline. So it’s probably just got a token troop compliment. With the gates at fort trinity to the HQ’s there is little need for the forts in uncontested areas. If Mordi wanted to do damage he’d be better off attacking Trinity. That it the pact HQ after all.
But glint had been around the young races for a long time. And we don’t know how if glint learned how to communicate with us or if she just could. Also I said it would make sence for a thrall or minion of the dragon to have a link as they are no longer who they where. It is also said ingame that the risen retain no knowledge of who they where.
Admittedly there is a lot we don’t know, but obviously he can communicate enough to make these characters do what he desires them to do. That implies a relative level of understanding on his part.
As for who scarlet was talking to we do not know. She may have just been mad as a bag of spiders, or it could have been The Nightmare, another Tree, the Muerrsat or indeed Modri. There is no proof that it is Modri 100%. People are just claiming it is to fit there theories. Until it is stated in game that it is Mordi, I’m not going to assume anything.
You’re right we don’t know. As someone threw out in another thread it could Menzies or even Kanaxai. However, then you wonder, what entity, and for what reason, would desire the awakening of an Elder Dragon?
Considering the human gods can’t touch the world, I think we can rule them out. I can’t come up with any logical reason any of the other options would desire the outcome Scarlet gave us.
If it’s another tree talking to her, or even Nightmare, and it shoved her into taking the steps to awake Mordi, wouldn’t that imply that they are in fact wayward minions?
Mordi being the one in their heads makes sense logically, but I guess we wait and see on that front.

My problem with Concordia is where it is. There are a load of Zones on the way that are not under attack from dragon forces. The only forces now that are active for a story point of view are Jormags in the Northern Shiver Peaks and The Crytal Dragon in Ascalon(I forget how to spell his name). The nearest front is far away and with the pact forces there Mordi could have just rolled everything from Drytop to LA. It just don’t make any sence unless he wats to outflank the pact, but then it makes no sence dew to the HQ’s remaining intact.
Yes the HQs are still there (although they took a beating in the personal story), but how much of their force remains there? With the creation of the pact, how relevant are the HQs at the present time? The general consensus is under the impression that he’s lashing out at the pact as a preemptive measure. He perceives it as a threat and he’s neutralizing it (or attempting to). That implies a level of intelligence on his part. The thorns have been seemingly crawling their way across the map for days now (currently eastern side of Kessex), so it seems like they are headed that way.
The three Ordes have not stopped being what they where. There HQ’s are still very important as places of knowledge, to train new members. Some where to plan battles. The pact formed to take down Zhitan. Out side of Orr, it’s safe to say they still so there own thing as shown with the fall of LA.

It is plausible that he could have gained this information from Scarlet’s mind. What she knows, he now knows sort of thing. We don’t know if the communication went both ways, or if she could only hear him. The same could then be taken into consideration of Aerin. If Mordy knew what Scarlet knew, could he also know what Aerin knew? Of course this is dependent on it actually being Mordy in their heads (I know someone’s going to tell me it’s not, but we don’t know either way) and if the communication was not simply one sided.
My only problem with the mind reading thing is that Modri is a Dragon and Scarlet was. Silyvai. They are two different kinds of animal. As far as we know our thought patterns are completely different to that of a dog. And if I could read a dogs mind, that would not mean I could understand his thoughts or that he could understand mine. Now if there race turn out to be minions of Mordi then fair play it would make sence for him to be able to read there thoughts.
But again the attack on Concordia makes no sence since they go past every Order HQ on the way.
We already have precedent for dragons communicating telepathically. Glint was a dragon, perhaps not exactly like the Elder Dragons, but a dragon none the less. She communicated mind to mind with the dwarves…. which were not dragons. It’s likely she communicated that way with the first Zephyrites, which again, were not dragons. The game references that Zaihtan knew everything his minions knew once he seized them at death, and the majority of those aren’t dragons. Based upon that, the fact that he’s in their heads tends to lend to the belief that it wasn’t completely one sided. In some of the scenes with Scarlet talking to herself, it did sound like she was having an an actual conversation with someone we could not see.

I’ve got another idea.
We know that Scarlet used the Breachmaker to direct a surge of energy from the ley-line to Mordremoths sleeping place. I am wondering if redirecting the flow of magic in the ley-line did not cause it to become permanently connected to Mordremoth. This could potentially allow him to feed on a much more rapid rate than he did.
My guess is that Mordremoth has not awakended yet, he is in a sort of pre-awakening state, and needs more magic to do so. As a dragon connected with plants, he might be using the vines as a root system to suck on magic from every major source (much like Mouths of Zhaitan). Or this might be a sign that a major branch of the ley-line became somewhat corrupted by Mordremoth linked to it.
don’t see this being it either, it goes against scarlets vision/her motive of doing everything she did, if she wanted the pale tree choked by vines she wouldnt prolong mordys awakening, plus the vines isnt just sucking up random magical energy, they ATTACK the pact directly knowing what happened to zhaiten, mordy didnt take any chances of getting pewed pewed, ur theory would hold if it wasnt for the strategized attack against the pact

Has anyone thought that maybe Modri is sending one of his generals to attack pact in Timberline Falls instead of him personally doing so? And this opens a way for a new World Boss event? Just a thought.
And would not make a lick of sence. No dragon has a champ that far from them. Timberland is almost the other side of the world away from where we think Mordi is. There had better be a very good resin for a vine to be there. I like the tower of nightmares idea. And it would make sence. If Mordi was influencing scarel, and he made her do that with out her knowing that would be cool. And better than the claims that Mordi knows everything scarlet did rubbish that’s going around.
ANet said they have killed meta achievements and they are not coming back for LS2. We’ll probably still have them for holiday events and the like. I like how the achievements are perminant. And let’s be honest how many of the LS skins do you still use? The only one I’m using is the spine blade. Because it’s acended. Before that it was Mad Memorises Complet Edition. For the most part I personally have not liked them.
Why wouldn’t the dragons be able to use magic?
Because you know, there is literally (IIRC that is) a form of magic called “dragon magic”, like necro magic, elemental, chaos, etc.
Also the fact that anybody can use the waypoints, provided they got the coin. So why would it be impossible for the dragon to use it? Out of the box for sure, but I could see it happening.
Though I’d imagine the same money restrictions would apply, hence why we don’t see Zhaitan overloading the waypoints by sending armies through :P.
Travel via waypoints is the only possible way mordys vines are traving across tyria so quickly theres honestly no other way idk why people cant accept wp travel, if we remember zhaitans minions used asura gates in trinity during ps. why couldnt they also be able to use waypoints? Its not as far fetched as people keep making it seem

I can swallow the vines traveling the laylines to suck up the magic the can after scarlet disrupted it. I mean it’s still crake long away at the drill bit on the breach maker as of last week. But Mordi knowing how way points work and sending his vines out to tap into them all the way over to timberland, I’m sorry it’s a bit too much. Undead showing up on most maps made sence dew to the placement of Orr.

As it would not fit with how we know the dragons work. They consume magic. And as I’ve said, how would they know how to use it. Even if Mordi could read scarlets thoughts, there is no resin to think he would understand them as I already said if you or I could read an ants mind there is no resin to think we would understand it. For me this is reaching of the highest order just for the sake of a story.

I find it hard to swallow that Mordi’s vines have spread that far. I mean under seas and mountains. And given the fact that the dragons oppose each other so I also find it hard to believe they would travel that far and not get attacked by Prim or bubbles. Also if they are moving that far that means the very ground is corrupted. And even if we kill Mordi, zhitan’s corruption is showing no signs of deminishing, the ground will remain corrupted for a long time.
I just find it a bit much, even with sespenshion of disbelief. It just dose not make any logical sence to me from how I understand they way the world of Tyria works.
We know that Mordy have knowledge of how WPs work due to Scarlets research. We know that multiple WPs have been attacked by the wines.
How is it so hard to connect those two dots and assume that it is using the WPs to travel?
TL;DR way pointing tendrils sounds like a very bad B movie.
Very hard. The thought of a disjointed plant tendrel traveling via way point across Tyria is just farsical. It would be like a plant of a pilot jumping on a jumbo jet and try’s to fly it because that’s what he dose for a living. And if we have to go to these lengths to make how this could happen, then surly the story is just getting silly. It was bad enough when the toxic alliance showed up in WvW with no explanation on how they got there.
People are saying that scarlet was under the control or Mordi. But there is zero proof to back that up. If anything scarlet drilling down to the Pauline woke Mordi up. Nothing more. Also there is no evidance that Mordi had a telapathic link to scarlet and could read her thoughts. Let alone understand them, I mean if I could read an ants thoughts would I understand them? Probably not. I do love how people seem to jump on a theory then turn it into fact. If you or anyone else can point me to an ingame point, post or article where a dev or someone who works on the story has said unreservedly that Mordi was controlling scarlet then it’s all just a theory.
I like the chests in dry top. But is it just me or are they getting harder to find? The first few days I could find about 5-6 a run. Now I’m lucky if I find 2. They also don’t seem to spawn in the same places or are the spawns random?
In GW1 chests would spawn randomly on the map, but they would always be in a set location. So you wouldn’t have to worry about it spawning somewhere you couldn’t get too.
