I can perma invis on my thief. There’s a thing called revealed. It happens when you do damage to someone. You do damage to someone when you attack. You also need to not be invis to contest a point. Ty for your time.

I’ve been saying this to my friends for a long time. The old /rank in gw1 for Heroes Ascent actually meant something. It showed dedication. Not only that, the actual emotes looked better back then than they do now (which I don’t know how they messed that one up).

Just type in gw1 heroes ascent r15 dragon emote, and compare it to the dragon finisher we have in gw2. It’s depressing.

I prefer quick, bursty fights even if mesmer is strong right now. It beats watching cele engis and eles have wet noodle fights on point for 5 minutes.

I know cele ele is still relevant, but the burst meta is definitely more prevalent than it was pre-patch. I love it.

I used control f and typed in the word “mesmer”. The word “mesmer” is used 30 times in an ele thread.

I also wouldn’t care if ANet deleted the class from gw2 for eternity. They are not fun to fight with or against. I enjoyed gw1 rangers 100x more.

I noticed Revenant doesn’t give an F2 when I steal them. Is there one still in development or will they be the class to not have one?

I haven’t watched any of the Ready-Ups and don’t keep up with the patch notes so if anyone knows that would be great.

I’m only going to address this because it’s the root of a major problem in PvP. New players STILL think that points matter in a match. They’ll sometimes double/triple stand on points to boost their scores.

Points. Do. Not. Matter. If you kill someone on far with your teammate, 1 of you stays to cap the point and 1 of you goes back to mid/help a teammate/etc. Do NOT both cap the point after killing the enemy. It’s a waste of time and you’re only hurting your team. Please… Anet… take the point system out for good.

Mesmer and ranger interrupt builds… so much gw1 nostalgia right now.

They differ but both are good. Tornado is epic for decapping a taken spot. That or baiting out a lot of dodges.

Rampage has much less decap potential but is much better suited for direct combat.

It’s pretty bad when your profession elite is so bad other professions don’t even want it.

That could work too. Honestly I just welcome any changes that promote zerk builds, whether it’s for ele, engi, or any other class. 1 step closer out of the cele meta.

So i’ve been playing condi engi for a long time, and I recently decided to play zerk static discharge.

Something I noticed is that while crate is great for team fights, getting the berserker off of elixer X as a zerk engi is usually even better. Obviously, the thing keeping zerk engis from using it is the rng aspect of said elite (50% chance to get the tornado).

I think tweaking this elite to not have rng would drastically increase its potential. Maybe something like while over 50% hp, you turn into a tornado. Under 50%, you turn into the berserker. I don’t know exactly what would make it balanced. However, I think most would agree that the rng aspect basically ruins the elite and puts crate on a whole other level.

Plus, I think we would all love to see more engineers using elixer X rather than turret engis crating a point before anyone even gets there (this makes me twitch every time).

You can say you don’t care about the “but I play a bunker” argument, but it doesn’t change the fact that there are times when bunkers don’t see action for multiple minutes at a time. It would be kicking them for holding a point.

It is continued now. Honestly there are probably 50 “serious” players of this game. 50 out of 4-5 million? And that is who they cater to. It is silly. They should make new game modes.
