I voted for Keil for the fact that the reactor explosion is not just a failed experiment. If it was then you would not have all the other stuff going on well after the fall. Abbadon is done plain and simple and has no bearing on whats happening right now.

Keil in southsun helped to do the right thing when it came to the story and during dragon bash.

Looking into Evons history shows his warband wanted to extort the people of Lions Arch which he agreed with just not the method his legionarre want to go about it so he killed her. The fact is he has hidden motives to control Lions Arch for his own pocket. And I don’t trust that type at all.

A story is a story, but you can’t pass up some good discounts. It’s not like waypoints are pricey as WoW flightpaths being more than 3 gold.

Not many people have that type of mindset sadly. It’s usually whoever seems to be the cooler role playing character ingame and since Kiel been in the spotlight recently most will vote for her immediately ignoring the fact that she provided us with nothing in return.

Saying she’s giving cheaper waypoints if we vote for her is a insult. That’s saying we’re lazy poor players even if we happen to have decent currency. I was hoping for the Black Lion Chest discounts so bad.

Actually coming into this I came back from a long break of a few months, starting at around flame and frost. So I had no idea who either of them were.

The point is you ignored the benefits which both were offering. Evon was offering discounts on the Black Lion Chest Market which means all prices are reduce. You know people buy from there with cash or gold. Instead we get cheaper way points and I haven’t seen a way point over a gold yet in this game. They should though then maybe cheaper way points would be worth it. This isn’t WoW flightpath prices which are over a gold.

I am new to warrior. What’s the strat with that sort of condition build on a warrior?

I remember when he wasn’t a level 69 rank xD… he was 50 levels lower when I first met him. Anyways I use to have that combo awhile back. The strat is pretty much a zerg destroyer when you have the right group. Otherwise you’ll be utterly destroyed when focused. Nevertheless he’s a great player and ally to have on board.

Thieves and Mesmers are actually rather weak in 1v1 situations at the moment.

I went with radiant gloves and gave to my guardian because my warrior has the molten fused gauntlets. It was no point to get hellfire when they share the same graphic effect like the fused gauntlets except uglier and you can’t dye it from what I heard.

No offense to the dev who created the model, but it wasn’t my taste.

I like how the map is without any changes being suggested. That’s just me though liking tougher situation which gives me more awareness, knowing your surroundings than being relax and have nothing to fear. So I hope it returns to the Tpvp rotation soon.

They replaced skill three with “Final Thrust” in the form of a semi burst skill over writing “Hamstring”. “Hamstring” was a cleave crippling attack, which when traited correctly will immobilize for 1 second.

They swapped “Final Thrust” and “Hamstring” spot on the sword (end of auto attack chain <—> Skill 3).

Oh you’ll be surprised. I’ve taken down a lot of clowns who came close range thinking they can withstand a CC warrior. Of course damage wise it wasn’t good, but in 1 vs 1 or if the enemy is being focus down. You’ll get a nerd rage response from them and it is lovely.

I wouldn’t go that far, because warriors does need some tuning to make the warrior community smile. It’s been almost a year and unfortunate not many improvement came to this profession. The good thing is they are listening, but also being cautious on their designs for warriors because

• They don’t want to make this profession an unstoppable beast a.k.a fotm, but how can it be one if they lack survivability.
• They don’t want this profession to be another guardian even though having protection boon would help this class a bit.

I’m pretty sure they’re several reasons, but they do need to get out of their warrior op fear zone so that this profession can breathe in pvp.

I don’t play much spvp, but are players suppose to have a 50/50 chance of winning a fight regardless of class, build, or equipment layout? I always thought they built spvp around one idea, that skill would prevail. Is there no rock paper scissors to the mix? i.e. X class will have a higher chance of winning vs Y class but a lesser chance of winning vs Z class (for those that don’t understand the rock, paper, scissors theory).

You would hope, but it’s quite complicated seeing how the meta is. It would be nice if it was a 50/50 chance of winning. However certain professions can climb over the 50/50 to a 100% chance of winning easily.

WvW is different from Spvp because skills are limited and armor sets. WvW is mainly pve in pvpland. It’s pretty much WoW worlds pvp, but with a different function than just killing players.

I do agree that blind really cripples warriors, but is that really a problem? Or is that a balance consideration and acceptable counter play.

If the blind condition wasn’t use repeatedly then yeah I can say it is a balance issue. Therefore blind should have a diminish return mechanic for pvp only. It can’t be use on an opponent twice every 10 seconds.

Lets face it, blind destroys warriors badly even though all professions are in the same boat. They have an easier way of getting out of it better than a warrior.

Well since you guys got some of the question I wanted to say I’ll just add these minor ones in the creativity model fields

• Female charrs and asuras having their own gender armor sets.
• Professions needs more weapon sets like DW sword thief, Rangers using rifles and warriors wielding great axe.
• Improve weapon set skills like hammer having cripple condtion on certain skills.

Haha a lot of warriors question and here is a good one.

If warriors are to suppose to be a close range combatant profession.
Why can’t they have a Pull ability such as:

• Thief: Scorpion Wire
• Guardians Greatsword ability: Binding Blade
• Engineers skills from wrench kit: Magnet

They are believe it or not…the only profession for close range combat to not have a pull ability.

I don’t think rank matters much here due to people having second accounts. Now from experience from playing a bunker warrior it really depends on the opponents because it all takes one good player to burst a regen bunker warrior down.

He can be a viable asset to his team due to control, but if he was suppose to hold down a node his limit is only one player and lets hope not a good one either.

Final Thrust cast time and animation are infuriating, the skill in combat just seems terribly unresponsive. THE ONLY way to land this skill is to hit flurry first. There is no kitten way you can land this ability on a moving target which is laughable at best. The cast time is to kitten long and the wind-up ( like ALL of our skills and nobody else’s) is ridiculous.

Could of been lucky hits, but I got quite a few players using final thrust while they were moving. However take note if you going to use final thrust a lot then I recommend using a shield along with another CC utility skill besides Flurry.

I really haven’t had much trouble with the sword weapon much despite the disadvantage blind condition gives warriors now.

Mesmers…no I mean warriors! warriors…sorry had a hairball in my throat for shouting For Great Justice too much. /cough
