you are obviously the only one who liked them it was more Player vs Sharks then Player vs Player map its fine now :P

I guess so :P because I didn’t mind the sharks at all. To me it brought flavor to the battleground unlike the others where it is pretty much capture the node and kill the monsters to gain points. In Raid of Capricorn players don’t won’t to risk their lives to gain ruins because they know the outcome. However it is a different ball game when you take the ruins. I guess that’s why I liked it since players aren’t the only thing to worry about in the water. Since this game is about teamwork I didn’t see the reason why the reduce on sharks was needed.
If anything reducing the sharks in Raid of Capricorn kills the purpose on capturing node. Heck maybe I like difficult stuff, but I guess certain players did not like getting killed by the sharks because they didn’t get their target. I thinking that’s one of the main reason right there for this to happen.
I’ve just notice the sharks on Raid on Capricorn have been reduce. Why is that? because I actually liked the challenge it gave when you go under water. Have players complained about this issue or something else?
I hope they can return those numbers of sharks one day because it does defeat the challenge on trying to take ruins or escaping.
I’m happy they buff Dual shot…I got tired of tickling mobs with dual shot while they look at me with the eat butt face.
I’d give Barrak a 9/10 since those worms are everywhere and I can picture a charr running around tearing then out of the ground and beating them to a plup.
My charr is a femal Blood Legion member and her name is Makkiev Ironside.
I would give it a 8/10 if you was with the Iron legion to fit your last name, but It’s 7/10.
Brutalustaka: It feels to long for a name. Usually a Charr’s name is two-three syllabus, and the way I read this I get 5. Maybe tone it down to “Brutala” (Brute-al-ah) with a “the [Blank]”. But as it stands 3/10
Azura Coldpaw – I like the first name but not so much the 2nd. A guardian isn’t really cold-related unless you mean the armor, in which case something more metallic would fit better. Even if it’s for her fur, white fur doesn’t necessarily mean “cold”. Meh, I’m being nit-picky. 6/10
Pyra Firapaw – Nearly perfect. First name is fine, but the “Fira” part is killing it. “Flamepaw” or “Hotpaw” or anything would have been better then Fira. 9/10
Lavenda Rosepaw – Bad first name, okay last name. 5/10. I can see what you were going with, the whole “flower” theme, but Lavenda doesn’t cut it (I honestly read it as “Lavender” at first). It just doesn’t feel organic at all. Rosepaw is fine though since, as I said, it’s clear you’re going for the rose theme.
Well I didn’t think of a last name for Brutalustaka because that name originated from my WoW warrior character since warriors are brutal in combat and they lust for fights.
For Azura Coldpaw I know the white fur part doesn’t have anything related to cold, but the white fur does give an arctic theme which is why I named her last name Coldpaw.
Pyra Firapaw I thought was pretty unique because the Fira name is based off of a Final Fantasy spell so some may recognize where I got the Fira phrase from. Hotpaw or Flamepaw seemed to common so I went for something different.
Lavenda Rosepaw however I didn’t have any intention of making her a flower theme at all. I just wanted to give a her nice sweet name with the colors I chose for her so it may appear she’s a sweet person, but it is exactly the opposite because she’s aggressive.
It hits me less than 8k crit so I guess its fine since I have a decent amount of defense, but thieves on the other hand..well that’s another story. Only players that have to worry about rifle spec burst are the glass cannon types since they can dish major damage, but they can’t receive it to well. So…take your choice glass cannon guys. Kill quick and get killed quick or become a defensible player having high defense. The choice is yours.
So defense is your issue then and once you get high defense your problem is solved. You won’t be critically hit for that high amount anymore.

My charr names are
Warrior = Brutalustaka : Her eyes are red because one its an appealing color for the lust part for battle. Her fur is yellow with black stripes and she’s a charmer. So when she fights ya you’ll her charming words coming from her. Her armor is Black and Red which makes her Crimson Black Warrior.
Guardian = Azura Coldpaw : Her eyes are blue and her fur is white with black stripes. She wears Blue armor because it suppose to match her first name as loving the blue color while her last name fits the Coldpaw part for having white fur. She fights with dignity as well.
Elementalist = Pyra Firapaw: Her eyes are light orange and fur is orange with black stripes. Her armor color is orange and black to go with her theme. She’s also another charmer like Brutalustaka, but she her lust comes from being a pyromaniac.
Mesmer = Lavenda Rosepaw: Her eyes are light pink and she has black fur mix with white fur. Her armor colors are black and pink to give her a dark lovely sweet theme. She’s an aggressive type which makes it funny because you would expect someone sweet a name like this as a charmer or peaceful type.

Because I knew in pvp from looking at GW2 videos I can get away with murder using the stealth build while moving around not being touch.
I do play a thief too and I find it odd that they have that benefit. All the stealth moves we got and teleport with shortbow. Why should this mechanic exist just for using whirlwind? I don’t know….

I understand thieves can be and mostly are squishy in combat that’s why they have burst damage. However that should not make them evade everything when they steal warriors whirlwind ability. If the warrior whirlwind can be counter then so should their whirlwind ability.

That’s one thing I don’t like about when thieves use that whirlwind steal. They are immune to everything which I find completely unfair. I believe they should be vulnerable to hit while they’re doing that move or otherwise give that ability to warriors as well who uses offhand axe. I hope Anet can rethink about that whirlwind ability thieves can steal and remove the immune to everything mechanic.
Both are viable and it is best to stay in groups. 1 vs 1 fight yeah you can take on a lot of classes depending how skillful you are, but if its going to be a 1 vs zerg fight………….you’re going to lose unless warriors can go stealth or leave traps while escaping danger which they can’t.
I wouldn’t say the pvp balance in this game is awful even though some classes can be a bit OP on the battlefield. The pvp balance is much better than WoWs pvp system. All I can say if you’re a glass cannon spec you will go down pretty quick, but if you have some type of defense build you can stand your ground and escape a lot of fights.
I usually just keep swinging until I can land a hit while moving backwards or in a circle motion. If you observe them closely…usually when they land is when they’re vulnerable and that’s when you strike with either a stun attack or some other utility you like to use. Nevertheless they are a troublesome opponent if you cannot see them.
Ummmmm………besides all the off topic talk. I think they could give them a youthful face then midgets grown up charr face.
You have to have them target off in order to leap forward. I press ESC to do that and if anyone no any other shorter way of doing it instead of pressing ESC please post here I will truly appreciate it.
So do you suggest we get something else like a aoe stun? or aoe fear?
You’re right Elementalists do have it worst than any other class overall. I completely forgot about theirs…poor guys.

I wouldn’t say its weak since you have to time it right especially if one player trying to finish you off. You will still have time for vengeance. If you get blind, and etc then most likely we are going down. However I know a few other classes have it worst than us like Rangers, Guardians or Engineers.
1. They seemed like a hardcore race to play next to Norns.

It’s not bad, but in a sense with that much defense the warrior is still squishy. I believe you have to have over 1500 defense to actually feel a bit less squishy, but that will take away some of your burst damage and making it sustain damage.
I don’t think they’re that useless except the banner one. If anything I wouldn’t mind if they reworked Signet of Rage to work like Ranger Rampage as one. In a sense those boons should be in that elite skill.
Rename it as Signet of Berserking or Signet of Berserker*

It’s pretty simple…Anet..
Step 1: Investigate
Step 2: See if the info adds up to see if that player is a bot.
Step 3: If its a bot then ban the account or otherwise
Step 4: Pay that person a visit whoever reported them as a bot and ask them why they assume that player was a bot.
It’s pretty simple and makes life easier instead of jumping the gun. You do want to keep happy customers yes?
I’m not trying to talk down on ya or anything but banning an account without any investigation is quite ya know.. disappointing / inexperience whoever is in charge of that job.
Anyways I love the game and keep up the good work.

Only thing I’m going to say about mesmer even they could use a nerf is that when they go down there clones automatically disappears. No clones should be up when a mesmer goes down. If anything should be allowed when they go down is that invisible for a few seconds and teleport somewhere else. That right there is fair balance on the battlefield otherwise allow warriors to use their warband ability similar to thieves guild ability and give those abilities to other classes as well.
What is that ability that makes ranger immune to stuns, immobilize and other effects when they glow fiery red. That’s an ability warriors should have in my opinion instead of rangers in a sense.
The sad thing is that you’re complaining about a warrior……..a warrior….a….. warrrior =/.

Nope just keep the human warrior and make something else with the charr.
If you really want to do it then do it. You can always make 2 warriors, but with only 5 character slots I wouldn’t recommend it.
Just don’t play a warrior and everything will be ok.
I love rifle build too…mainly because I always snipe from a distance. The burst damage from kill shot is what makes the build worth while especially if you design your build to be a glass cannon.
The bad side of it is you really can’t do 1 vs 1 because your enemies can kill you quickly due to low hp/ def
Go with axes or something else because sword isn’t viable in pvp. Who knows maybe in future builds it may become viable when bleeds can’t be removed more than once every 10 seconds or so. Only warriors can get this bleed mechanic and I’ll call it gushing wounds talent mix in with blade master.
