This game has got so lame, i mean the 2-0-0-6-6 build is sound but that really shows you where this game is going. The class that is supposed to be about insane burst damage now has to go into the acrobatics trait line rather than the critical strikes traitline. Even thieves are on their way to becoming partial bunkers along with the other 4 metas in the group. Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo BORING to play as and against. My team has pretty much decided to stop playing this game and look for another one as when we hit around the rank 300 mark we hit this constant bunker meta.

I highly recommend sticking to the D/P 2-6-0-0-6 build its way more fun.

i agree burst is more fun but in some situation D/P can’t or hard to compete against other condi bunker like decap engies in high tier tpvp

im stucked in 125 pcs!

Personally i prefer 0 6 0 6 2.

Besides the decision to take mug or thrill of the crime, I find that those 6 points in CS are way better than the same points in trickery.

I didn’t do the proper math, but I can eyeball a +50% damage, which is huge.

Gj anet for balancing the game the last huge patch was the best! In my opinion rune of str is overbuffed fix that thing and this game is ready for Esports thing!

Sry. I know your vids, i am watching them since i play gw2. After the tourney I discussed the build with some ppl and I think it is pushing into the meta right now. So after I saw your video, uploaded after a few days of the tournament, I thought you just copied Sizers build and made a video around it. I dont know if Sizer was the first person running this build, but he made it famous.

I dont even know whos sizer is lol and i play this rune of str. With 3 diff build 2/6/0/6/0 or 2/0/0/6/6 or 2/3/0/3/6 all with power of inertia

Rune of Strength is a good alternative for Rune of Lyssa but expensive! doesn’t matter it’s free in pvp!

and when they switched to water attunement try to get close as possible and dont stop attacking melee dps!

ye a good d/d celestial ele is a pain in the kitten after they buff celestial stats with some ele ele buffs, best way to beat em is out play em using s/d swordplay with 30 trickery bountiful theft.

i think this rune is not working on Thief cuz daze on steal (Sleight of Hand Trait) still does 1 sec daze with or withour this rune of mesmer and same from Guardian’s stolen skill (Mace Head Crack) 4 secs.

sometimes i encounter this shadowstep bug even before the april patch while using steal or infiltrator’s signet it ports me back to my previous place

i wont really get this new trait even if they put it in adept trait. cuz acrobatics build don’t really rely on stealth and how long is 1sec stability? blink of an eye? and i don’t really like acrobatics major traits and i only getting this trait for my s/d cuz of the passive minor traits Expeditious dodger, Feline Grace and Fluid strikes and quick recovery is now a joke 1 initiative gain / 10sec? Pain response is just fine but 30secs Cooldown just to remove 1 condition

He’s not using shadow “im bad at the game” arts so ofc he is gonna over evade to compensate for lack of sustain. Thats how 30 in acrobatics works.

Would be curious to know what build you run — I have a full zerk setup that goes all the way into both precision tree and acrobatics, and I don’t remember sword hitting for as hard as I saw in the video. Though to be fair it has been a while since I have used sword.

You used S/D like 20% of the fight. You just spammed 1 and 3 on Shortbow and called the engineer bad after you stomped him. You can’t call someone bad if you killed them by spamming 1. Show some duels against non-brain dead people and try actually use the weapon 90% of the time that you stated in the title.

Btw showing your name and saying that you have bolt and incinerator in the title tells us you’re attempting to show off, but you’re failing because you trash talk and you post videos vs noobs, and all you do is spam 1 and 3 on Shortbow.

aether is perfect for thief cuz everytime u use skill it glows like this! and thief skills doesnt have cooldowns! so just spam that glow effect!

and you can also use 10/0/0/30/30 for longer survival and more steal boons bunker wrecker and can interrupt on steal lesser damage but still zerker hurts

i agree with 6 init cost. thieves nowdays can get easy burst by shadowstep+PW it makes the thief look cheap and easy. you don’t need to bother about positioning to get high burst like backstab
