I had better idea that was the same as engineer trait. 50% chance to gain switness for 5sec on critical hit. 5cd.
U dont even make sense with 100%, just tell u want to give us 10min switness on every crit hit
Engineers have a higher hit rating and are mostly a ranged class is the difference, also access to protection.
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Furious_Speed
It should be moved to 100% chance on critical on “melee” hits. This will give it some flavor and make it an actual good trait choice for us.
With an internal cool-down of 1 second.
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
Lets nerf everything thief has until nobody plays them!
WOOT WOOT!
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
Or.
It should simply reduce the Attack/Condition Damage Statistic by 33%.
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
Weakness should reduce all damage the target inflicts by 25%, this includes condition damage.
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
The easiest way to beat a thief is to play one and understand it. Otherwise you will never learn how they work.
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
The old flanking strike was absolutely horrible and had a 50% global MISS RATE calculated, it was extremely dull, please stop trying to get thieves nerfed.
Go back to the Ele/Guardian/Ranger forums please, boons are not suppost to be god-mode.
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
Might as well rename the suggestion forum: Suggestions for Warriors.
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
Flanking Strike is fine. It offers a meta against people who stack boons so they are not invincible.
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
Rangers are amazing at any role they play, you know how fun ranger is now that they added agony resistance/toughness/health to pets and fixed there AI? That thing is pretty much a warrior now.
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
There is a thread dedicated for warrior already.
Here you go: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/warrior
You’re welcome !My thread was there before it was moved by moderators.
Moderators love moving warrior threads.

Warrior is mad op, stop complaining you bishes. 1 op weapon is enough power you greedy folk who can’t get enough. Buff the hammer, a little, then nerf the offhand mace, sword a little.
Obviously someone who does not play the game or warrior. The hammer is a horrible weapon because it suffers from major flaws.
1). Most choreographed moves in the game.
2). Very easy to block.
3). Very easy to blind.
4). Poor traits.
5). It seems to be a very defensive weapon, however it has no defenses?
6). Subpar damage, hard to hit with.
7). No Mobility.
8). Attacks have low range, some of them root you even.
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
Please make it add 30% to all XP gain per level 80.
This would help leveling alts. I am simply tired of making another alt as i’ve played the game plenty and I simply wish a new toon.
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
I’d rather have:
Skills and actions are X% faster. (stacks with quickness.)
This allows both condition/power builds to benefit. It would also be very unique to the warrior.
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
Now you’re making the Warrior look like an Ele with longer cooldowns.
Not a fan of the idea.
Its not new skills, they are just stances. They are not like attunements which give ya a whole set of new skills.
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
no eviscrate? no killshot? im a sad panda =(
You would still get that, just in base skills.
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
More ideas would be gaining boons for switching to a stance.
Gain Stability when switching to balanced stance. (8s)
Gain Protection when switching to defensive Stance. (12s)
Gain Fury when switching to offensive Stance. (12s)
Gain Quickness when switching to reckless stance. (6s)
This way you could switch to a stance, take a hit. Switch to reckless to deal tons of damage then offensive to deal less.
It would make the class harder to play.

Burst skills/Adrenaline have been removed and placed into the weapons they are involved in or melded into them. (They didn’t go away, they just replace current underused/bad weapon skills.)
Brawn is now “decreases duration of Stances by 2% per point spent.”
What are stances?
Stances are powerful buffs that can change the fight for your warrior, you must activate them wisely because you can only have one up at a time.
You can only have one stance up at a time.
F1: Balanced Stance (Cooldown: 30 s)
Skills and actions are 15% faster. (stacks with quickness.)
Increases damage reduction by 12%
Increases base damage of the warrior. (Less then Offensive/Reckless.)
Increases base movement speed by 5% (Increases cap by 5%.)
F2: Offensive Stance (Cooldown: 30 s)
Skills and actions are 25% faster. (stacks with quickness.)
Increases base damage of the warrior. (Less then Reckless.)
Increases base movement speed by 10% (increases cap by 10%.)
F3: Defensive Stance (Cooldown: 30 s)
Skills and actions are 25% slower. (stacks with quickness.)
Decreases damage taken by 25%.
Decreases base movement speed by 15%
F4: Reckless Stance (Cooldown: 30 s)
Increases damage taken by 50%.
Skills and actions are 25% faster. (stacks with quickness.)
Increases base damage of the warrior. (A lot.)
Increases base melee movement speed by 25% (increases cap by 25%.)
Strength
Berserker’s Power : Increases damage by 12% while you are in a stance.
Arms
Furious: Further increases the base damage gained from balance stance/reckless stance/offensive stance.
Defense
Adrenal Health: Heal yourself when you use a stance.
Embrace the Pain: Increases the damage reduction while in defensive stance by 20%.
Discipline
Heightened Focus: Gain base critical chance while in offensive or reckless stance.
Inspiring Shouts: Lowers the cool-down of stances by 5 seconds when using a shout.
Quick Bursts: Gain endurance when using a stance.
Sharpened Axes: Lowers the cool-down of stances by 1s when criticaling with an axe.
Thrill of the Kill : Reset all stances when killing an enemy. (30 second cool-down.)
Versatile Rage: Lowers the cool-down when you swap weapons.

Can you please remove the global cool-down of this food? Or add sigils with no cool-down?
It seems stupid that someone can stand in my attacks and I don’t get benefit for it because of a fake cool-down. You should punish people/zergs/npcs for just standing still. Not install fake skill via internal-cool downs.
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
Warning: Humor, you probably won’t understand it unless you play a warrior.
Warriors are masters of the greatsword. They rely on aluminum armor and hope to survive. They’re versatile in combat and benefit from 30 points in the vitality tree and spamming shouts and being forced into certain rune sets of banners. Warriors inspire allies and demoralize enemies by being the worst class in SPvP but still outshining other players with sheer skill. As a soldier profession, warriors do not wear plot armor.
Adrenaline is the warrior profession’s unique mechanic. As the warrior attacks, adrenaline is built up the warrior can get 9% critical chance and 12% extra damage. Each weapon set has a single burst skill which has a variety of different conditions that nobody uses to improve with more adrenaline. Adrenaline has three levels, and each adrenaline level increases the effect of Heightened Focus and Berserker’s Power, and Adrenal Health.
The warrior also has the highest selection of weapon skins to other professions, giving a good variation between how many skins of the greatsword we can choose from.
As a heavily armored soldier profession that has no access to protection and sustaining abilities, warriors are only second to thieves in terms of enduring punishment.
Skill types unique to warrior
Physical — things nobody uses. This also would of been a great class mechanic.
Banners — banner skills produce an environmental weapon that passively, or via unique skills, benefits nearby allies. The banner can be picked up and carried around, or it can be planted in an area, this turns the warrior into a buff bot for his allies.
Stance is a warrior skill type that has no bonuses and poor traits and kill the warrior more so then help him. They should of been the class mechanic from the start and have been F1/F2/F3/F4, however that would be too much work.

It’s okay, we have a STURDY BODY and 3% DAMAGE PER BOON.
STURDY = Aluminium
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
Like bumping it every few hours?
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
I noticed that the direct damage ticks from combustive shot don’t grant any adrenaline, but if you have Furious traited (extra adrenaline from crits) then they will give adrenaline when they crit.
Anyone know if that’s how it’s ‘meant’ to work? As it currently stands that lets you almost insta-refill your adrenaline firing it into a mob with furious, but you get nothing if you don’t have it.
Yes.
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
How do you cancel attacks besides dodging? Esc is very inconvenient to hit a lot.
I am glad other classes must do things like cancel there attacks. sarcasm
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
I use spinal shivers in pvp/90% of the time its blocked because of such high cast time. Its suppost to remove boons yet aegis isn’t ignored. :/
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
The problem it, it already has an internal cool-down, 10s and only if you hit with burst, otherwise its another 10 seconds.
Some weapons/builds gain adrenaline very fast, so you’ll be filling up your bars before each burst cd is up. That’d lead to 3 conditions/10sec.
If everything goes right in the world, your enemy stands still and lets you hit them. (I can’t do that very often.) Its actually hard to gain adrenaline in real pvp combat.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vtdy__Pe0pE look at 9:00 minutes into the fight for basic confirm, hes actually using traits to gain adrenaline too as you can see, its not as fast as that, it does not need an internal cooldown because it has a cooldown already, several actually.
This is an example of real pvp combat with a good warrior in charge, you notice it takes 6-7-11 real seconds to fill a bar when you don’t have instant cast things to do it. If your just using your burst and actually spending time to fill your bar, it takes a lot longer. However most just fill it and use it for buffs.
There is also that “2” second delay after you use a burst where you still have full adrenaline, THEN it allows you to use it.
Its not automaticly curing conditions every 10 seconds, your actually FIGHTING and trying to get the burst in.
It sounds like that on paper, but in reality it takes a good while to actually gain a bar in real combat, unless you use stances/signet of precision/healing surge, but then again your wasting slots on a toolbar defensively for a benefit instead of using them offensively or when you need to, its risk+reward.

doze mesmers lol wow
Yeah.
Its like they stood there and let him hit them.
Should make an SPVP video to show how awesome warrior hammers are.

Tier W:
Warrior.
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
I am hoping they are reading. We need balance changes next patch at least.
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
more to come.
Nice video. Need to fight a good thief or necromancer though.
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
Well tonight I jumped into it. Manned up and made my warrior and it was a pleasant surprise. I did not like the sword at the start felt very boring but once I got a great sword and then double axe I was like wow this is cool. So far so good. I think I may enjoy it
Cool, have fun.
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
Giving the auto attack a mini-block would make it unique.
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
It is when the ball is so heavy and you have to swing it so hard to permanently warp your enemys armor. Thats rl vs. gl though.
The mace chain should be able to be completed in full before a full adrenaline stun wears off imo.
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
1/2 1/2 3/4 would make that the fastest chain warriors have… the numbers in the tooltips aren’t accurate. Mace does need an increase in attack speed though.
Also, I think weakness needs to last a bit longer.
I thought axe was faster?
Well, technically your swinging a club, it should be the fastest. Maces weren’t known for there finesse. Bashing someone in the face with a bat isn’t slow.

Please fix skirts/coats.
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
You have a trait that grants you endurance. You have 5 second weaponswap, therefore you can get the most out of sigill of energy. You have a warhorn that gives you vigor. And you say Warrior has bad endurance reg? Do YOU even play a warrior?
And btw what do you mean with wasting stats? You have 2k Armor and 18k HP without a single point spent. Thats more then enought.
If you think 20k eviscerate is a waste, its your loss.
And I was refering to PvE, so your top PvP player argument in invalid.
Sigil of Energy has an internal cool-down of 9 seconds.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Sigil_of_Energy
That trait means NOTHING to the sigil, in-fact it just makes it “off” and harder to use because you could use it a second before its Internal cool-down.
Do you even know what sigils do?
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
But that doesn’t change the fact that Longbow ranger is crap. And P/P is far from being unplayable but it does need some serious help.
I would rather reroll to another class and pretend P/P doesn’t exist then try playing P/P in PvP.
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
Greatsword warriors get their bleed damage increased, they apply the bleeds on critical hits.
If anything it’s a tree that makes “sense.”
Other professions are not so lucky and have condition damage trees without applications of conditions within them. So the stat is completely wasted. That isn’t the case for warriors. Since precise strikes causes 3 stacks of bleeding at minimum that trait is always giving you some extra damage. 1.5x from critical hits landing an additional from bleeds being caused. Since the condi damage fuels the bleed trait you’ll find your damage increasing more as you go into the trait even if you deal only power damage.
Hardly an example of “horrible” stat displacement.
Greatsword Warriors don’t use bleeds. They probably have 2-3 of them at a time and barely use them at all, they mostly use them for the 10% damage buff.
a 40-43 bleed isn’t worth 250 stats.
Greatsword mostly does direct damage and uses bleeds just to buff that, so it doesn’t matter if you have condition damage, it makes almost less then 1% of a difference.
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
Is you want a class that is like Warrior, except better in every single way. Play Ranger. Its like Rice with pudding.
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
I’m not all butterflies and sunshine. I just tell people like it is.
Warrior lacks a great deal of things.
No you need to go out and have a bit of fun, just because a class may be OP or UP does not affect a classes fun factor.
First 80, had it for several months and i’ve discovered all its strengths and weaknesses. It has not had a significant change since then.
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
I’m not all butterflies and sunshine. I just tell people like it is.
Warrior lacks a great deal of things.
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
They really need more fun-traits as well.
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
P/P is almost inarguably the worst set in the game? I guess some people never heard something like, “Wrongbow Ranger”
At least the ranger has other ranged options.
https://twitter.com/TalathionEQ2
Don’t listen to Daecollo, either he is a horrible player or a horrible troll. All he does in this forum is whine about how bad warriors are…
A troll am I, do you even play a warrior?
Warriors have some insane endurance regeneration and enought basic health, therefore you can focus them on high damage builds without sacrificing any damage. If you need to put 30 points in stamina, you’re doing it wrong. This makes them not only very effectife but also very fun to play in both casual and high end PvE. With the 5 second weaponswap you are very versatile, I miss that trait on every other proffession I play.
Warriors have some of the worst endurance regeneration, necromancers are right before them. Health is meaningless because we waste a lot of stats. What is the point in having more vitality when we waste it trying to get traits?
Warriors can have high damage builds, but they are NOT-MOBILE, our highest damaging attacks force us to stand still, anyone with a pea sized brain can avoid them, even AI-less-mobs do it! Guardians out-class us on mobile damage, everything they have is instant-fast-easily executed.
Warriors pretty much have to waste points in the brawn tree when brawn does absolutely nothing and most don’t even use there burst abilities. We have the worst class mechanic in the game because it hurts you more to use your burst then save it.
Warriors have by-far the worst traits and the weakest grand master traits in the entire game. Also the worst healing abilities as well.
I guess the top-pvpers are all just trolls.

I agree that something like this is needed to make P/P useful, but I think you need to reconsider some of the abilities. Due to the nature of initiative and the lack of cooldowns, having a headshot>dirty kick combo is incredibly OP. It would be more balanced and beneficial to the set to have the dirty kick leap backwards to gain some distance.
4 (2) Dirty Kick (Initiative: 2)
Use your opponent’s face as a springboard, making them look silly and evading backwards. (33% Chance to Knock them down.)
Damage: 302
Knockdown: 2 s (33% Chance.)
Evade: 1/2s
Range: 130I would also adjust some numbers on Ricochet and Pistol Mastery. Ricochet at 100% is too strong, unless the second target takes less damage. Alternatively ricochet could have a chance to spread conditions. This could work with any conditions, not just those applied by the thief. Pistol Mastery is just too strong at 15% crit AND damage. Every pistol build would run this. Make it 10% damage only, and buff pistols in general.
Tactical strike is a stun that is also spam-able and costs only ‘4’ initiative if you make the combo properly, this costs 6. Its not as OP as you would think. However good ideas.
You also would have to risk going into melee with the opponent to execute the attack.
It has its opportunity cost and works well with S/P as well as P/P.
