The problem is that people actually run 2 spirit rangers because the elite is so good and can actually cycle their elites for mid fights, the spirits themselves are great, the ranger is an exceptional duelist, what’s not to love about an over performing prof?
1. Nerf Auto attack; ALL auto attacks. There’s too many auto-attacks which grant too much efficiency; Mesmer Greatsword Ranger Shortbow Necro Scepter Thief shortbow Come to mind.
2. Nerf Spam… cooldowns, cooldowns everywhere…
Increased initiative costs for those of us who don’t have cooldowns..
3. Nerf AutoHealing. Regen warriors too crazy. Regen spirit beasts too crazy.
4. Nerf Pet HP.. All pets take a nerf to HP.
ALL pets even phantasms.
That’s the most hilarious thing I’ve ever heard, you’re saying someone’s actually out to farm useless currency IN A TEAM? Sure I’ve seen r57HotjoinHeroes who hotjoin all day erryday but a TEAM of them?
If you want efficient glory farming just join a glory farming server…

No it’s not long, if you look at other games the devs have actually spoiled us with attention, maybe they’re slowly weening us off it?

Eh no one cares about Leaderboards anyway… if someone says they’re on the top 100 just laugh at them and call them a Noob, most of the time you’ll be spot on.
There’s some people who deserve that spot though, I saw a 200w /100 L guy..
In my opinion, Anet should greatly reduce the spirits recharge, their cast time and duration, nerf their passive effects and significantly improve/change the active effects. Same with the banners.
I wanted to make this point a while ago; Spirits should be low cd/ Low hp (Like phantasms) or low passive abilities.
Crit is mitigated by weakness right?…
You also need to choose between crit and surviveability on a condi class..
Bunkers should not get on hit weapons…
Crit also decreases the instances of procs.. even at 50% crit with a 20% sigil that’s only 10% chance it’ll go off, what about multi attacks with low low crit, should we buff those builds just because?
This is not a bug this is how rating works; I’ve noticed after a looot of matches with the same people when you’re matched against the people on your previous team that decides who goes to the next rating bracket and who stays in the swamp of afk/rlybads.
Jon peters probably tried playing spirit ranger with the legendary 0/0/0/0/0 build…
SO MUCH skill guys, every win felt like a crucible I had to overcome.
I noticed that daze shatter interrupts spirits quite well :O

Yes a band aid fix is easier you’re right but I disagree with you where you think it’s the right answer or even a better answer.
The key to fixing the meta is to tone down things like
Necro Scepter1 and Signet of spite,
Slow necro attack speed to Mesmer’s scepter…
Passive buffs from Warriors
Spirit elite for Rangers
If those things were to go away Elemenentalist would be much more viable, unless you want to continue the power creep that’s been going on since beta..

I’m guessing they couldn’t put out the whole spectator mode in one update but had to put out something cause players kept badgering em for just an inkling of what’s coming.
Rank 1-100 tpvp match spectator mode; where you can watch high ranked matches an hour after they’re played would be really great.
I really have no idea why some of these quality of life changes haven’t been put in yet..

People just get upset you didn’t rez them or all yall got your kitten wooped or you guys ran away from the fight and left him to die so he gives up. Some people just have low anger issues or whatever its called when someone gets mad because you didn’t do something right.
The problem with that is they may not have a full awareness of what is ‘right’. Example:
“RES ME NOOBS!”
“WHAT ARE THESE ‘WELLS’ YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT?”
or:
“OMFG L2STOMP”
“WHAT DOES YOU HAVING 37 HEALTH HAVE TO DO WITH IT? STOMP!!!1one”
That’s the two most common ragefails I see anyway. Someones corpse getting cleaved to hell and crying because no one will revive them, or someone whining about a lack of stomps when there’s just no one left in the fight who can survive standing still for that long. Third would be the guy who cries about lack of stomps when his team has no stability and are getting pingponged.
The whole concept of blaming your team is stupid anyway. If the matchmaking paired you, it’s because you’re fairly close in rating. If the matchmaking set them against the other team, it’s because the other team is fairly close to them in rating too. If you’re so much better you should be able to carry against that level of opposition.
You’re playing with people around your skill level, so maybe focus on your own mistakes instead of theirs. Calling your team noobs begs the question: what are you doing in their bracket?
dog.. you crazy man.. wtf are u even talking about when u get paired.. its totally random.. in ranks you get paired with u dont always get paired with people ur rank.. even if.. idc about rank its more of people dont want to listen to their team that results. in the rest of the team loosing.. because and TBH here.. 1 person can actually make a difference. believe it or not. every single 4v5.. game ive been in we lost.. and got murdered.. thats just me stating fact right there. its the fact that normally 80% of the time low ranking players have absolutely no idea wat they are doing in tpvp.. >.>

How is this even a valid argument? Every weapon in gw2 is aoe! Except some thief skills lol.
So if that is the case they might as well buff staff to the levels of other aoe. Or what I’d suggest, bring other aoe down to staff’s level.

I don’t need the extra second of stealth… I’ve played like 20 builds this week and I usually swap around builds weekly and I’ve found the 20/20/00/30 to be the best for what I do.
