GvGers are on your leader boards killing your dudes. Conquest mode promotes poor play and cheese gimmicks this is clear as you see how low the skill level is of the best pvper when put against the skill level of the best GvGers.

I climbed to top 100 solo queue as did a few of my GvG buddies, also around 200-300 range when I feel like doing tpvp, talking a game or two once a month. Bottom line is GvGers are busying having fun playing what was a good game mode before bloodlust.
Conquest is a boring game mode that good players never like, good players always gravitate towards deathmatch. Numbers back up my statement, this is pathetic.
Whats also pathetic is the Tpvper that got carried by a team and cant climb solo queue talking trash. There are good Tpvpers on the solo queue leaderboards they are the ones that carried people in their teams.
Deathmatch less room for poor players with over inflated egos. If you are high on the Tpvp leaders boards but cant climb solo queue you are bad…. end of story.

It’s very simple to fix this;
Make the ready button actually work as a ready button; you already have the code; all you need to do is move the lines that say :
Start countdown to match start to after the ready button is pressed by all teammates.
If nothing starts within 2minutes match resolves and that’s that.

Pvp rewards were supposed to be something that you could lord over the dirty pveer’s..
That stopped being the case 3 months after release though, since no one cares about rank.
Simple fix = Limit amount of glory per match to 200 ; remove /matchend.
or.. Add a penalty for dieing (lol I would not actually want this)
I’m neutral on this; and this is for sure in the wrong subforum….
This is one of those things that would add polish to the game imho, but at the same time take too long and not actually effect gameplay.
Conjure is a cool mechanic :/
1. Requires SOME teamwork ; hopefully with buffs they will tone down durations/uses
2. Adds interesting skills to other classes.

I’ve tried all the amulets with this build also all weapons.
There’s very good reason why you play rampagers for 60% crit and fury; you want the 7-8 bleed stacks from the duelist.
No reason to shatter when my condition damage does my work.
In fact shattering is counter intuitive to the build, as sha(t)ter does not trigger clone death abilities.
The reason for sword/pistol is because sword is the only melee weapon mesmer has; i.e you want melee clones to go in and get killed and you can position the staff clones.
You also want the Invulnerability, and the extra CC x2
Scepter/torch does not hold a candle to it. I know having ran multiple versions multiple days to test which would work best.

Halting strike mesmer is really my favorite build out of all the mesmer builds, the idea of it anyway.. but as far as I can tell through massive testing…
It’s not as strong as Countless clone spam build..
I’ve tried a couple of builds mostly those listed in this thread and also my own varients.. and I can say that I don’t enjoy playing it as much nor do I feel as strong as I do in my variation of count’s build.

Targeting system got love which is a good day in my book
and they did say that this patch would not bring balance changes..
Conditions overall got normalized which is good I think..

You’re talking about diminishing returns.. and no, with stun breaks, stability, cleanses you really don’t need a diminishing returns mechanic in this game.

CC immunity buff? that’d be great, we could give it to every class,…. Except necro, and when they cry about it we’ll add it to something they never take like well of power or something else that’s useless.

Buffing the mesmer is a bad idea;
Unless you buff the Greatsword/Scepter/torch/focus
which at this point are pretty meh..
If mesmers lose sigil of Paralysis though that’ll be a nerf… pretty big one at that..
So maybe it will balance out?
Eh .. why ban people for this?.. PVP community is small enough and now you wanna ban the casuals that saw their chance to get some pretty skins?..
I have some good friends that did this for stupid reasons maybe even for an hour or two.. it’d be a shame if they were banned because of COMPLETELY USELESS rank/glory.
