I still say the rune of the traveler is op for spvp,
rune of speed would be op if it worked, but not even close to rune of traveler.

THEN AGAIN..
Lyssa is too powerful right now.. and probably represents 50-60% of all runesets used in pvp..

Although griefing pve masters would be fun, I think this would hurt more then help.

I’m also for any way to make the pve masters pay for using our pvp lobby as their personal warp zone.

Gold in tournament is an horrible idea.
It will create an huge inflation making the cost of gems rising even more.

Zaishen Keys, as it has been said, are perfect because they don’t bring more golds into the economy but, instead, they give PvP players a valuable item they can sell and get gold from PvE farmers, which are the main source of gold in the game.

Those are an item exclusive to PvP, so it doesn’t conflict with a previous PvE economy.

+1 I believe gold is not the answer, but rewards should go to tournament players not hotjoin heros.

could be really easy to implement..you could even scrap the Queen’s jubilee coding to do it.

There’s no point in balancing pve or pve+ with pvp skills/traits.
Why?
Ascended gear/infusions, Racial skills, food buffs PVE+Buffs, broken Runes/sigils and most of all pve is already really hard for pve players.

I’d have to agree Scepter/Sword-offhand blocks for mesmer might screw you rather then do any good… abilities which pulse multiple times will wreck you..

Evade frames and an interrupt function for counters would be a nice addition.

Some skins weren’t acquirable before like the greatsaw, Im guessing now that they implemented pvp skin transform (Which wasn’t in at the time) freebies like this are gone for good.

That’s unfortunate.. I used my skin right before the change to allow pve skins to be converted to PVP because I thought that it would never happen and am thoroughly regretting my decision

That basically people going to Lion’s Arch using the exit portal from the Mists should pay “100 glory points” to pass through.

You’re not playing PvP, then pay your bloody copper/silver fee like you should!

Counter play is poison don’t you guys know that? No warriors run cleansing ire.

I like playing pvp in this game a patch isn’t going to change that.. (most probably)

On the plus side last patch added salvaging changes I’ve personally been asking for since I started playing and also they made temple a lot better, so each patch brings some good with the bad.

5-20 Gold per hour? You’re either extraordinarily bad at math or you’ve found a gold mine somewhere.

Two alternatives to gain materials; Skyhammer hero at 11k per hour which gets you 11 gold chests, or tournies.. whichever you choose the math holds up.

Lets assume you win all your matches per hour and each match ends within 6 minutes and ques are instant, so 10 matches per hour. 10 Gold chests and around 200 glory per (For consumable tokens)
Lets also assume Every chest grants you enough materials to craft a single dye
(Really Generous I know)
Lets also assume it takes you 0 time to actually craft the dyes and salvage the items because you’re doing it in between instant ques.

So 10 Dyes per hour; which means you usually end up with 1Yellow 2 uncommons and 7 commons, Commons sell for about 1 silver each after taxes at max, uncommons can go from 1 silver to 15 silver and most rares sell from 15 to 80 silver. with some outliers going for 8 15 and 31 gold which are expensive for a reason they’re ultra rare.

Now . Care to give me your gold per hour?

I agree Cmstorm/ensoriki, they should add magic find to pvp.

I duel on duel servers while I wait…you could play cookie clicker, it’ll never gyp you out of internet points like gw2 is doing now… I dunno..

What’s your gold per hour for dyes?

Celestial amulet without magic find is just not worth it.

Would still very much like an answer to this; Can I use a transmute splitter to recover skins which were originally convertable to PVP so I can use them in pvp?

My experience has been unless the party is in voice comms and their builds are meticulously crafted to complement each other’s when you get 3-4 of a single profession you lose the game.

Hotjoin farmers have been around since release sure now they speed at which you gain rank has increased a bit , 1k per 5 minutes instead of 500 in 7-9?

It’s still the same thing pvp rank never meant anything, pvp Leaderboards never meant anything, pvp is a game just enjoy the good fights and play if it’s fun..

If I ever got my hands on 1,5k gold from my tourny wins I’d just buy out the gem market….

You can use the skin as many times as you want, but after the first use you will need a Transmutation Stone or Transmutation Crystal to apply it to another item. Or, as Tomoyo pointed out, you can use a Transmutation Splitter to get the original items back. Once used however, the skin will no longer be tradable, even if you use a Transmutation Splitter. Hope this helps!

I have a question I have a skin I transmuted multiple times onto different items; if I use a transmutation splitter will it allow me to get a skin I can transmute to PVP if it was originally a Gemstore Skin?

The item in question is A greatsaw.. and I would love very much to be able to use it in pvp.

Right now my income per win is around 34-50cp on average..
Maybe direct gold isn’t the answer, I only want skins honestly, I could care less about pve.

no weaponswap would decrease skillcap…. it would also make certain classes completely broken
