Imho 50s would not be too much for 8-10 minute on average matches
You could get 6 times more running a dungeon.

Yea the solo que rating is completely unforgiving, you lose to the wrong person who was randomly shuffled into a vVv sync’d group and you can fall like 100 spaces in one go.
4v5s are brutal and plentiful, but that’s expected because it’s solo que. If you don’t like it que with a full team.
Just forget about it, enjoy the good fights and if anyone ever tries to brag about their solo que ranking just know that they’re probably a wvwvwer or something.
It would be silly to cap a point in stealth.. you can even summon thieves or phantasms without breaking stealth all the while contesting a point?.. Completely broken.
Stealth is an escape mechanic.
Mesmer greatsword is of course the noobtube/AWP of guildwars it’s good when you’re on a ledge, far away and your opponents are relatively glassy.
It’s the dev’s way of giving new mesmer players a chance to kill high level/skilled players if they screw up. (especially mes vs mes)
but really imho pales in comparison to the staff and s/p..

Greatsword is mesmer’s noobtube very strong at range 2k auto attacks
duelist is out of range and can shoot for 3-4k at 900-1200
Berserker can hit very hard too. plus ranged stuns 1200 and Late game mindwracks can do some serious damage..
Can even take Mantras for extra burst/interrupts, Interrupt damage.

Engineer/Mesmer makes for a great perch class.
Engineer has Grenade kits for Aoe, Rifle spam and turrets Could be great at mid/long range.
Mesmer has Greatsword/Staff strong ranged capabilities..
Any of these can be strong ranged classes…
Thief Shortbow does some pretty ridiculous damage…
You might also want to add engineer/mesmer to that list.

I still play at night when I don’t have any work to do, and as long as pvp stays fun for me any my friends we’ll keep playing.

20 full hotjoin servers are not an uncommon sight at primetime.
This makes sense… it’s a common sense change…
But I would like to see some twohanded weapons toned down slightly
if they’re getting this buff.

Are the first to come to mind… I don’t really like the idea of giving these weaponsets an extra 5% damage(as the worst pick) for no real reason.
This is the best change to Temple that could have possibly been made.
Bigger space for better positioning.
No lame underwater combat.
Easier to catch runners/jumpers.
I love these new Pvp Ghosts and Non-pvp players who come into this forum and say that pvp is dead.

skyhammer heroes are rewarded while players who don’t enjoy hotjoin are left in the dust; this change will be great when you get around to it.

Hard-Counterable by Well Played Condi-Warrior.
Relies on Condition damage, even sometimes confusion damage mistakes
in anti condi-meta.

The team running two spirit rangers almost won the tournament.
Two Classes Rangers and guards take up the meat of the graph 43% together.
Almost More then Five Classes; Elem Engi Mesm Thief Necro combined 44%

The coding required isn’t as simple as I thought, look at how long they took to remove ranger pet exploits..

This was recently changed, you can’t use blurred frenzy to avoid the cannon in skyhammer but now you can use it while capping a point.

This was very much documented and not so recent of a change either.
My fault I haven’t found the change in the patch notes yet;
however I did find the change to making BF not cap points.
It’s strange they changed their minds.
I think it’s cool that duel servers have their own sets of rules that’s interesting, it would be really cool if there were tools implemented to enforce these rules…
Like say you could actually ban abilities from being put on skill bars?

The only time you’d ever run a PU/phantasm build is if you’re in a duel server,
it’s ironic that duel servers banned that..
Duel servers are in themselves silly, and that will never change as long as people keep bringing things like PU mesmer P/d thieves.. etc… etc..
The thing is this game is not balanced for 1v1, and even if it is, mesmers still beat most warriors running HSignet.
Just because everyone uses the same heal does not mean they’ll nerf it too, Mesmers have only one real viable heal too for instance.
And yes nerfing evasive arcana was a big hit for Ele especially d/d

Healing signet needs a shave and everyone except devs seem to know this..

The problem with evades in conquest isn’t that they’re so strong that they’re completely OP it’s that they don’t all work the same.
Blurred frenzy for instance does not count as if you’re capping a point, but a ranger/thief can dodge around on point all day.
Invulnerability/MEGAblock/evades should all work the same way and decap the point under you.
I am also extremely interested in the comps for the tournaments but not actually interested in watching… some text based resources would help immensely
