I’d rather get a Level+1 from a BLC than many other boosters or merchant summoners. I at least use the tombs for weekly key runs, most of the other stuff just gets tucked in a corner of storage.

It didn’t appear for any of my five accounts last night. It says in the announcements forum that the entire map is supposed to be off-line, but that’s not true. Unless they mean you cannot enter if you’re not already there?

Bummer, cuz that’s the easiest JP chest to get to. Right outside a portal from LA, easy jumps, finished quickly. I park many a toon there.

In the Phoenix, Arizona area, I haven’t seen them in a Target or Walmart for quite a long time, at least a year I’d say. I get mine at Best Buy consistently.

Which is too bad, Target sometimes sold the $25 cards for $20.

I only have the Royal Terrace, but like that it is a direct connection to a city. Plus, stuff happens in DR (ie, festivals) so that makes it especially nice. I’ve not been tempted to get any others.

Playable Tengu? No, the rumor I heard was playable Dolyaks! They need no starting area, cuz they are everywhere!

People have asked for it, but perhaps not this exact implementation. I guess, in other game(s), you can have “people” work your “home” to produce things on their own. Such as NPCs farming your fields, or doing trading for you, or whatever.

I assume if this one sells decently, Anet will add others to “improve production.”

These are the kinds of Gem Shop additions I like, ones that enhance my account. I’m already going into my Home pretty much every day anyway, so that part I’m good with. It would be nice to share it though.

And yes, I do realize how many of those mats I could buy with 1200 gems worth of gold. For me, that’s not the point.

When I level up a new toon, I usually pick one set of utility skills, signets for example, and just leave them until I’ve unlocked all traits. That way I can play with different traits along the way, swapping them to fit whichever weapon I use.

Of course, veterans have the advantage of familiarity, so I suppose if you are more interested in trying out the different utility skills, you could do the opposite and unlock a single “generic” trait line and then unlock different skill sets to play with.

If you go that route, check the wiki to see which levels additional trait lines become available for use, so you know when you need to start unlocking the next set.

You do realize that if Tengu (or any race) is to be included in the upcoming expansion (PoF?), that decision would’ve had to be made long ago, right? That no amount of asking at this point would make it happen? Right?

I don’t remember seeing any tengu in the desert in Prophecies’ Crystal Desert or Nightfall’s Desolation, so can’t see how they fit with what everyone’s assuming will be the setting.

Regardless of that… well, nevermind, I have no desire to rehash all the endless reasons why we won’t see a new race added.

That’s all part of them being inferior, is it not? Otherwise, for example, a charr elementalist would take Warband over Summon Elemental, which is what Anet wants to avoid.

Don’t forget that the one with the story step can ping the map/waypoints/poi’s to help guide the helper.

You’re really not giving much input for what you wish to see. In this example, you’re saying you’d like to see Guardian use dagger (is that main or off-hand, I don’t think you get both), stance skills (described in general above), and shoulder — whatever that means?

You didn’t give any indication of what that Elite looks like. Are the dagger skills off-hand and thrown? Main hand and melee? Is this a power or condi build or something else entirely, such as stab your allies in the back to heal them? Tossing out there weapons for elites but providing no insight doesn’t give a dev much to work with.

What do stances look like for an Inquisitor compared to a warrior? What makes them unique to an inquisitor? Again, generalizations can lead to disappointment when you find out that “cool! anet’s making an Inquisitor” but then discover it is nothing at all like you imagined.

And… Shoulders. No idea what that even means.

We have plenty of capes. All these Buttcapes that everyone complains about. Just add the guild logo and all is good.

Wasn’t the last released outfit the gunslinger? What’s wrong with that? Certainly not high-tech, and certainly fits both engineer and thief just fine.

Or… I dunno… just download an app to do that on your phone?

Like I say every time the “no more Tomes!” comes up: If you don’t want them, then just consume them as you get them. Problem solved.

If they go to the trouble of implementing something like this, I hope it would be customizable. So you can choose it to display minis, outfits, consumables, titles, or whatever.

Not everyone changes minis or outfits enough to want something like this. But if they provide enough choices, then it could be beneficial.

It is a holographic glider. There are no folding wings. It is either on (wings projected) or off (just the projector shows). Works as described.

I bought the outfit + glider combo, and like both. Now to find just the right dye combos…

And I’ve been saying for a while now that I have enough outfits. Living in Arizona, I had to buy the gunslinger outfit, and now I’ve gone and bought another. Ah well…

You’re more likely to get a new class of weapons with multiple skins to choose from, only they look like what you’re describing. Then any Profession that can use those new, glowy weapons can choose whichever skin they want. That’s how weapons work in GW2.

So there won’t be a “Druid Glowy Weapon” and “Elementalist Glowy Weapon,” but rather “Glowy Weapon A” and “Glowy Weapon B” from which you can choose.

Good luck getting a new weapon. I’ll be surprised if it happens.

Since there is no normal XP in WvW now, how else would a toon level up in WvW?

If you don’t need Tomes, then consume them as you get them. If you already have stacks upon stacks, just delete them. Obviously, the spirit shards are not needed if no Tomes are being consumed now.

As others have stated, I appreciate getting them and wouldn’t want any sources removed.

Warrior & Necromancer. Warrior gets heavy armor, but necro gets a second life pool.

My one lonely Charr is forever separated from his Warband, doomed to eternally open the same JP chest each day.

Aka… I quickly discovered I couldn’t play a charr since their running animation makes me motion sick. I did not delete the character, tried again after a while, no go. By then I didn’t want to lose an original toon.

Just pop some leather “racks” (like in home instance) or “synthesizers” (like in guild hall) in the villages or homesteads or camps that are scattered around the maps. Then they can be controlled like a regular node.

If you add animals, it would seem some sort of addition tool would be needed, such as “skinning knife” or somesuch, which then adds complexity.

But… but… Human Female is the Meta! :O

I’m guessing you opened multiple chests before adding items to your wardrobe? Thus, you got the same thing twice? That’s happened to me.

If someone has taken a champ down to pretty much the last hit, does another player coming along to tag it really matter?

My main, a guardian, has been wearing scaled armor with the shoulders hidden for quite a while now. I just get tired of overly-decorative armor. So I toss my vote in for simpler designs!

I’m always in favor of more stuff like that from the gem store. Items that improve the account are always more valuable to me — nodes, storage expansion, the UM gathering tools, shared slots — than are cosmetics. Not that I don’t buy some outfits, etc, but I already have plenty of those.

Perhaps higher-tier leather and cloth racks?

So, in the not-too-distant-future, everyone can have a mount, pet, and mini? No thanks.
