Teq is just there to farm all the players. It’s payback for all the Aetherblade farming during Scarlet’s invasion.

Overflows have no TS commander coordination, making them fail every single time. This content is beyond being able to pug.

Just playing. I see your point. While it does suck to have to rely on so many people to do the right things at the right time in such a short time frame, it is also a great Server wide community builder. That in itself is pretty awesome.

I love that the embers are back in FE. I’m also glad that the fight didn’t revert back to a year ago when FE was just littered with dead bodies and people stuck on the bridge.

I think a problem with making SB, Maw, and FE too tough is that those are in the starter zones. For new players, you don’t want to make these first encounters with a world boss too hard.

Other than that, let’s Get it ON!

Amn, if the server timer is correct. Reset is in roughly 8 hours as of this post. The hero tab seems to be so.
AFAIK, it resets every 8pm EST.

Yes, reset is in 8 hours. The patch will most likely go live within the next 3 hours or so. I mean, yeah you may potentially miss a daily reward for today, but just a few hours later you’re ok.

But, what happens after the patch and the first couple runs on Teq fail? Crazy talk, I know. Just don’t want to count your eggs before they hatch.

I’m ready for this. There is nothing worse then asking in Map for a group and you get blasted with “use gw2lfg.com!”. I don’t want to use a website, I want to stay in the game and find a group of people there. Don’t get me wrong, gw2lfg works, I’d just rather have an in game system.

I’ve never had this happen. Every time chat and the screen alerts me of the Invasion, I zone in and that’s where the invasion is.

I’m pretty sure that SAB runs through until the next update (After Tequatl) which would be on 10/1. I could be wrong though.

I’ll be happy once it is so I can have something fun to do.

There are Ascended Weapons that can drop in the world now.

There will be a higher chance of that when the Tequatl update comes Sept. 17th. They’ve already said that the encounter has a chance of dropping Ascended weapons.

I’m not a huge fan of SAB and think it’s a little boring as well. That’s why I will play it when I want to, if I want to.

No one is forcing you to play SAB or get the AP for it.

You have to buy the Celestial Weapon recipe from the TP and then craft it.

Celestial Inscriptions don’t show up on the Discovery Tab.

If you throw them in the MF, it’s best to do 4 of the same kind. Your chances of getting a rare or exotic go up that way. If you just throw in 4 random runes/sigils, the return isn’t as great. Nearly every time I throw 4 of the same Masterwork Runes in, I end up getting a Rare back.

I don’t understand why anyone would post on the TP an item that would get you back less or equal the vendor price. I always up my asking price to make sure i make at least 1 or 2 coppers AFTER the TP cut is taken.

I currently flush all my runes/sigils until I run out of 4 to do, then I sell the remainder on the TP.

By crafting about 13 exotics I hit 450, with some being non-discoveries. I bought the inscriptions pre-patch for about 3 gold per, now starting at 5 gold+ per. At 450 you can craft the time gated materials, no real reason to get to 500 right now anyway, it’ll take 10-14 days to craft the whole thing and by then you will likely be at 500.

If that’s true then how are there people that already have several ascended weapons crafted? I thought you needed to be at crafting level 500 to craft ascended weapons.

That’s simply not possible. Are you sure it’s ascended gear? Because if it is, it’s probably a bug.

Someone showed that he crafted 6 ascended weapons. Maybe you can ping it on map chat without having crafted it yet?

You can ping any ascended weapon as long as you have the weapon recipe learned.

You can actually ping anything you want.. there is a code for it. I don’t know it but have seen it used hundreds of times. Sometimes people ping Weapon Skins before they have even been “officially” put into the game.

And once you’ve won, how has this made you better than any other player who hasn’t “paid”?

I too am using SAB as a little breather from the LS. I don’t really consider it a LS addition and more of a mini game. I’ll jump in once one of my characters has exhausted their Birthday Boost. I’m not losing that for SAB. Until then I’ll be getting my T6 mats to start getting Ascended weapons.

On a side note… can I stop getting those darn Wigs!? I have 4 of these things already…

Yep. For checkpoints, all members need to stand on a music key to lower the gate.

You don’t need 5 members though. You can solo, go with 1 person or 2.. it’s up to you really.

You’re on the wrong server then. Or you are playing as a Charr.

Did you change the stat WHILE it was equipped on that Character? Otherwise it’s only supposed to Account Bound the item. If it’s not becoming Account Bound, then it’s a bug and should be reported.

See, if the item is actually on your character and you change stats.. well it will Account Bound it and then instantly Soul Bind it as well since it’s equipped. Does that make sense?

Again, if that’s not the case, then it’s a bug. The patch notes clearly say that the items should become account bound.

The real question is… do I salvage my exotics for Ectos or do I throw them in the MF to test my luck on getting a precursor.

Don’t the Legendary Weapons have just the one skin? Are you asking them to make multiple skins for the Legendary Weapons and then let you switch those? Also, why are you getting a Legendary Trident? You must really love the underwater battles….

He’s asking for the ability to swap a legendary weapon to other (non-legendary) skins of the same type on-the-fly without transmutation and such.

Like, if someone had Bolt they could choose to turn it into Infinite Light or another sword skin at any time, then turn it back to Bolt later, turn it into a another sword after that, ect. Basically just a swap feature like the new stat-swap except for skins.

Which I definitely do not agree with. Legendary weapons are already getting a boost with Ascended stats and the stat swap, I don’t think they need any more unique functions. I realize they’re a lot of work to get and such, but the original intent of legends was always supposed to be purely a unique aesthetic and not to be “better” than normal weapons functionally. The stat swap function is already stepping beyond that line by allowing on-the-fly adaptation, something that normal weapons have no access to, but I at least kind of understand that since with Ascended stats it would be difficult to transmute a legendary and have it maintain the same stat threshold (you’d have to use another ascended weapon each time).

There’d be no reason for a skin swap function, though. At least beyond just making legendaries more special.

I’m pretty excited too. SAB is the last thing on the list that I’m looking forward to. I can’t wait to see how MF works and looks.

What with it being generally Account stat now, but still giving character MF in small ways, I’m curious to see how this looks. Does the H tab effectively show any boosts and account MF together? For example, if my account MF is 30% and I’m on a character with a 20% MF Infusion and a 30% MF food boost, will my H tab say 80% MF? Or will it just say 50% and the Achievement panel will show the other 30%.

I’m also pretty pumped to open my stash of Champion drops to see if I can get some Ascended Mats and then salvage my greens for MF boosts.

Today is gonna be a fun day and I’m sure I’ll be spending hours in LA switching between characters and doing Inventory and Gear house cleaning. Then I might jump in for a SAB run

Have you played SAB? Continue Coins are quiet easy to get. You also don’t even need them as you can just wait a day and play again without the coin….
