My Venom Share build I’ve ran for ages is greatly weakened to the point that using Shadow Arts isn’t even worth it anymore. I can no longer stack might on myself and allies, and taking SA for Leeching alone isn’t good enough incentive to waste my time in a tree that uses Stealth when I don’t use Stealth skills. So overall I do less damage, less range, less breakbar damage, longer cooldowns and have less team support and use only Spider Venom and Basilisk now and ignore the others.
Yay for people who only used Basilisk and never spec’d for Venoms.. Boo for people like me who used multiple Venoms. Although solo Basilisk Thieves were nerfed.

After reading through 6 pages of text, I fail to see why this had to be turned into a prestige item so rare and expensive as to be pretty much unobtainable.
Going by the logic of the game’s UI itself, this should be a checkbox, like other armour slots have, pure and simple.
Imagine having to pay 2300g for the ability to hide your guardian’s gloves , for example, then having to pay the same for your mesmer’s shoulder piece, only to find that it’s so rare, there isn’t even a single piece for sale.
This should be about having the ability to hide your foot slot armour piece, not turn it into an actual piece, with all the impracticalities that this brings.
…and then adding a drop rate this low.
It actually feels mean spirited in a way.

Its funny you mention paying to hide an article of clothing. SWTOR does this….for real cash…and its disgusting
You could buy those from the auction with in-game money and they were pretty cheap. I was able to buy them when I was still a lowbie newb. Invisible chest piece and shoes ftw.

Nothing wrong with amputee type stuff, but I’m not too fond of the design. I’m not into large high boots and they’re far too big on my characters. So are the gloves. SWTOR has some cool stuff like that. I find stuff like that in item malls amusing though because you’re basically paying to saw your leg/arm off.

I like the Daily/Monthly AP Cap and would prefer it to stay.
The PvP reward pots alone are good enough incentive, those things are amazing. Like the 50 Free Bloodstone Rubies for a few minutes of effort every day to fill the track is practically overkill. I’ve gotten 150 total so far just from dailies.

I actually thought this game would have a feature like that before it released~ to edit/remove certain parts of armor pieces. So I’d be happy to buy something like that.
Instead we get invisible shoes for 3k gold. :|

I assumed it was one per character @ 4th year bday and didn’t find out till after I picked a skin. Oh well, the one I picked first was my favorite one still, which was the Grove one. The positioning on it seems to be off though and it floats out too far.

Deadly Arts is also the Condition Damage line with Potent Poison, Dagger Training, and Serpent’s Touch.
I do agree that a different thing should be swapped though. Deadly Trapper.
Given that they can be set while in stealth, traps seem like they fit the shadow arts’ lurk in stealth playstyle a lot better than venoms do.
So, the condi build in deadly arts would be: Dagger Training, Leeching Venoms, and Potent Poison
While Power would remain as is with mug, revealed training, executioner.
While also freeing up condi builds to take Trickery instead of shadow arts, which should theoretically help them to get closer to viability.
The issue with that suggestion is now you are taking the Trap traits (Trapper’s Respite and Deadly Traps and separating them into two different lines). This could be fixed by combing those two traits though.
Combining is fine by me as long as it gets Leeching Venoms into it’s home in Deadly Arts where it belongs. I believe swapping is the best choice though since Revealed Training still makes more sense in Shadow Arts. For Traps I’d rather they all worked better together and on their own so that choosing between them or Venoms for builds would actually mean something more.

Lv.500 Cooking should have Ascended food that turns you into a combat Quaggan/Skritt/etc that allows you to use your normal skills in that form, along with the statz.

If you’re using Stealth to proc Reveal then you could still use RT in Shadow Arts line where it makes more sense and gain the added benefits to stealth that it gives. I don’t use Stealth with Venoms so the rest of the new SA tree never applies to me.

I’m pretty much using SA for only one trait now, which is Leeching Venoms. I don’t even like stealth. Wish they would move it to Deadly Arts where it belongs. I should probably just forget about my support venom share build at this point till that happens. Pretty disappointing at the moment.

The new emotes cause [The Ascention] backpiece to go off center and diagonal. It kinda works with /sad though since it makes my wings look crippled; amplifying the sadness. XD

So with recent changes this would make a lot more sense.
Leeching Venoms goes hand in hand with the theme of Lotus Poison, Potent Poison and Dagger Training traits in Deadly Arts since it’s all related to poisoning your weapons. Revealed Training is related to the stealth mechanic, which Shadow Arts is supposed to augment. Swapping these two positions would allow venom support users to decide weather they want to use a stealth build or an evasion build.

They removed Might stacks and reduced Radius~ our only support build is pretty meh now and it makes me sad. The new trait doesn’t really make up for it since I didn’t use stealth. If they swapped Leeching Venoms with Revealed Training in Deadly Arts maybe it’d work out better and I could just drop Shadow Arts if I wanna use Venoms for support.
