The entire of GW2 should not be designed around a minority of players who have trouble. Pretty silly thing to say.

Wow. Way to support someone with a disability. A solution is easy-make 2 or 3 levels of difficulty. Easy=slow melting snowflakes. Hard=fast melting. You get the same achievement but better rewards for the harder one. Simple.

Completely agree and some races are harder to jump with. I just skip this timed garbage.

I got 2 snowman minis and the Christmas light mini and would like to be able to at least gift them to friends but they are account bound. Big :-(

I agree OP the bosses need more mechanics. I enjoy kholer because you dodge and he will pwn your face if you don’t keep your distance. Seems the bosses I used to dread are the most fun now.

Agreed I think they’re boring and the rewards aren’t as good as the regular dungeons. I also like the way the regular dungeons flow.

Fractals are great but the bugs and the gear grind are not something I enjoy.

Have someone not in the bubble pop a heal on you. That’s what I did on my ele.

So often I am at a Black Lion or Banker NPC, especially in Lion’s Arch, and there always seems to be a Warrior casting “For Great Justice!” over and over. It is so regular it is obvious they are using a macro to cast it. It is so annoying. A few have stopped when I ask but most just ignore me.

Is doing this ok? Doesn’t seem fair they can do this in pvp or pve. And even doing it in a city would keep them logged in unfairly.

So should I just report them for botting?

Or when it’s “I can run faster than a centaur” over and over and over and over and over cries!

It’s pathetic. The server is Full, but theres’ NOBODY PLAYING INGAME. WvW is DEAD. No Queue times, and no Overflow in the PvE world. THis is a kitten conspiracy. Anet is trying to herd new players and Transfers to the 7 low pop servers. If they wanted to encourage transfers, they could just offer some free gems. This shady kitten is kitten me off. My GF installed the game last night and can’t join me on my server, so I transferred to one of the only available servers and WvW is in ever WORSE shape over there. I’m soo kitten right now. what bugs me about crafting is it just takes so many materials and by the time you can gather those materials the gear it can make is often outdated to your character or you’ve already found alternatives to the gear you wanted to make.

In addition for all the weapon skins in the game, the crafting lacks a huge amount of variety in the looks of what you are crafting, would it hurt to use some of the skins from mobs and npcs and throw it into the crafting system? does every greatsword have to look exactly the same from crafting level 50 to crafting 300+?

Um there are many different weapons skins for each level so not sure what you are talking about and there are many different gear skins as well.

You can use transmutation stones to get the look you want as well.

Crafting in GW2 is very disappointing, meaningless, and not fun because:

—no makers mark (name of crafter) on the armour/weapons.
—no way to even view a players armour.
—the items you craft are not worth the time it takes to gather the resources, profif-wise.
—the items you craft are not superior enough in function.

I was hoping GW2 crafting would at least be as fun as some of the 15+ year old games. But its very downgraded.

Why didn’t GW2 make a game with excellent crafting? Beautiful graphics and a fun questing system are good, but there needs to be more FUN things to do in an online game.

Oh yeah it must be worthless since I can easily make 20 gold a day.

The key is to craft your own rares to get ectos from and no they haven’t been nerfed.

I don’t like insane grind in MMO’s combined with an rng system with no dungeon finder so I don’t run FOTM anymore.

By the time I’ve found a group on the same fractal level I could’ve finished one of the older dungeons.

A boss that changes periodically into other bosses in the game and randomly uses those bosses attacks while you can melee him on a platform but dps has to fight him from moving platforms they have to jump on while trying to avoid damage :-)

Guardians can solo Kholer with pretty much any build, they just need to play well.

Yep you just use scepter and mace and keep him from you because he will pwn your face off if he’s melee.

The only time I see him kill is when players don’t dodge at his throw animation or he is in melee range.

He’s the best fight in AC imo.

The only thing more awesome than the Mesmer profession is an awesome player pwning a boss on one. Great vid!

Why am I the only person that thinks the rage posts over a ring not dropping is completely insane? This is a game and it’s something you do for fun. If you are that distressed over the stats on a ring then you should try leveling another class and stop focusing on this one aspect of the game.

I hope everyone that wants gear gets that gear but I hope Anet doesn’t cave to the crying and just give it to them.

I find bad players in bad gear offensive but not sure about these slots :-P

I was one of the people who logged into the Karka event and crashed right before the ancient Karka boss thing died. So I never got my items. I submitted a ticket, posted here on the forums, and waited.

…Today I log in and there’s an Ancient Karka Box in my mail inbox. I open it up and find my inventory filled up with yellows and oranges. That really made my day, and I wanted to say so here, publicly, because it seems to be so rare that the GW2 devs get thanked for their efforts.

The only way I could dps him today on my ele was by dosing him in another room through the broken wall. I even tried to dps him right behind him like I do on my gaurdian but that killed me too.

It was still a fun fight but his cone of attack seems silly.

The truth is, it’s a great mechanic for bad players. I am sorry but that’s the truth of the matter.

The actual truth is that good players adapt and learn how to excel. Bad players complain and point the blame away from themselves.

Great players know what is adaptable and what is broken. The downed state is so broken it’s not even funny, it’s not even balanced.

Um no the downed state is broken for Ele’s but good luck with this QQ thread.

Cause in pvp they mist form run away I run 15 feet and put a pole in their head….. in the end they only died tired and on the run.

It’s broken because my gaurdian can reach for the sky about 16 times in a row and snap, pop I’m back at full health.

I’d like to see a solo player version of the dungeons and here’s why. I’m an older player, my reaction times aren’t as good anymore, I also get nervous when I get to the boss. If I’m in a group I’m forced to move along at a faster pace than I feel comfortable with. In addition, I don’t want others to feel frustrated or see me as a liability on the team. If I could work through a dungeon solo, get confident with the content, then I’d feel better about joining a team.

In Runescape they have a skill called dungeoneering which you can do solo or on a team. With a team you obviously get much better xp and rewards. But that’s fine with me because it still allows me to play the dungeons the way I like best.

If it can’t be done in GW2, it’s okay. I enjoy the rest of the content.

Rosen you are welcome to run dungeons with me anytime you need someone nice to group with. The guild I’m in is all 18 and over and I think most of us are in our 30’s. Older players need to stick together since there aren’t a lot of us.

Don’t feel like you are different because of your age. Almost every pug I’ve been in has been composed of nice and helpful players and the mean players usually don’t get invited to run dungeons again.

My gaurdian is a human and well they are kitten boring and I would rather him be a Charr or Guild Wars Pokemon azura.
