To Dub, and Brazil. I absolutely do not agree with path/seat sellers. Correct me if I am wrong, but isn’t it easier, at this point, to publically make it known of this exploit? If any pug and their monkey can pull it off (as it seems that there are various methods and all easy to do). The only way to solve this issue, is to make sure everyone is educated on the paths, and their respective glitches. Let people make their own decisions, whether to skip GL or not. From that point on, Anet can handle the rest?

I just hope they fix all these arah exploits and glitches already, so i can ask for more money. As of right now, it doesn’t even feel worth it anymore to solo path 2 as there’s heaps of exploiters who sell spots for 4g or even less.

Well as long as he wins it’s technically still that they don’t matter… what you should do is video some ptv or cleric’s failing to out dps a healing mechanic.

I already have a full wayfarer’s gear CoF 1 run recorded as i mentioned on another thread before. 45 minutes total, 20 minutes on the effigy. I was quite a fight. I’ll make sure to upload it in the next few days already.

I’m selling arah p4 slots with a buddy of mine on US for 15g. We 2 man arah p4(and simin) as 2 DPS warriors almost daily with hardly any issue and never encountered this bug. To those that are more experienced in arah p4: It’s intended that Simin goes back to stealth rather fast, isn’t it? We always only get a few seconds to DPS her before she goes back to stealth, but we always managed to clear it.

Feelings are always involved. When you call out bads on their (usually)idoitic stuff, they feel all hurt and feel inclined to report you to the mods because they can’t deal with this feeling.

Frankly, half most of those levels arent even supposed to be played yet, and its debatable if lvl 40 is supposed to be played. Right now I’d say they kept the 30-39 lvls for the increased fractal weapon droprate, perhaps the 40-49 too. But once the higher levels will really be released, I expect them to add more rewards, aside from the claimed higher drop rate of exotics.

40 AR already makes lv30-39 a complete joke in terms of boss/agony damage, so i’d guess 40-49 is “meant to be played”, even though 45 AR lets you survive most of the attacks aswell and now they’re adding at least 10 AR with this patch, which will make 40-48’s agony also go down to 1%/tick if i’m not mistaken.

I hope they give us better rewards for doing higher levels very soon and unlock 50++ already. I’m sick of playing lv48 with complete newbies who should be doing <lv20, but instead kitten up 48 pugs with their longbow ranger. With 55 AR, you will have pretty much every possible bad player join 48 groups, because agony will deal almost no damage…

It doesn’t kill your instance if you’re the starter and everyone else leaves by themselves.
Only if you kick(the last other person) it should kill your instance.

Warriors have kitten weapon swap. Sigil of Energy has 9 sec cooldown. As long as you don’t stay on axe/sword for more than 9 seconds there is no difference between 1 and 2 energy sigils.

I wasn’t being that serious, i got 2 GS one with energy, one with undead. I just haven’t tried it without two energy sigils and i’m pretty sure i could do it without any, as long as i have at least signet of stamina.

I may make a warrior on my EU account too, because the lag screws me over a lot of times…

Here’s a video of a even worse/casual group doing it in 1 go without issue. None of us did this dungeon path in probably half a year or so.

Just did a TAFU run with a few random guildies earlier, no optimized builds and lots of lag.

I need double energy sigils, because i get 1 second or more lag/skill delay on US.

I just did a duo of path 2 and we felt like selling the remaining 3 spots then my buddy got banned from gw2lfg from too many reports. It was a legit run too. I guess the rage and *hurt must be strong these days.

This a thousand times. Whenever i duo arah path 4 with a buddy, then put up a gw2lfg ad, i get flagged to oblivion, then i have to reset my IP and put up another one. This process repeats around 2 to 5 times until i fill up the group. Sometimes i just cave in and invite friends/guildies to finish the run.

Aside from a couple fights that are fun to try and see how quickly you can do them (Lupi, Alpha), every single dungeon run is just boring crap in the way of my reward. If there was a dungeon I could walk 5 steps into and hit F to collect 1 gold and 60 tokens I’d do that crap daily in a heartbeat.

But that’s not the intention of dungeons. The reward at the end if suppost to be because you put some effort into doing it. There comes a point when if its too easy to get the reward, then that reward shouldn’t be as high.

Compared to open world zerging, flipping stuff on the TP and things like deadeye farming, dungeon(ESPECIALLY fractal) rewards are a complete and utter joke. You think dungeon rewards should be even less for people who want to get it over with quickly?

I’d just keep using force/slaying/night/accuracy like usual. It’d be a pretty annoying change, but it wouldn’t be the end of the world.

A player named Kull solo’d lupicus with ranger. Part of the issue is that during lifedrain, pet is negative DPS, so leave the pet dead in phase 3. Basically, use axe and kite the best you can. Google or search the guildwars2 subreddit for “kull”.

I was thinking of using full melee instead of kiting like a girl. Anyways, my ranger is now completely geared in best-in-spot gear. Now i just need to run to orr and do arah story mode…

Just implement an “anti-carry” code where the game checks your DPS against everyone else’s. If you’re not doing enough, a red message appears going “IF YOU DO NOT START CARRYING YOUR OWN WEIGHT WITHIN 50 SECONDS YOU WILL BE KICKED”.

On another note: I recorded a CoF 1 run with a few buddies and convinced them to buy a full set of full Wayfarer’s armor, weapons + trinkets(MF/Vit/Toughness) + 6 pirate runes for it, as a last commemoration for Magic Find gear. We also all used “tanky”(super bad) builds and such. We didn’t wipe, but the run took us about 45 minutes. 20 minutes of which was on the effigy.

I’ll shorten/edit the footage and upload if i feel like it in the next few days.

Slow, bad RNG. I’m sure i could do this at least 2-4 minutes faster with a different setup&less fails. Maybe i’ll try the HIGH build w/ berserker gear+might runes if i can give up Toolkit. Can’t be bothered now though. Ranger solo is next, then Ele.

I really, REALLY dislike this kind of zerging content. I usually just wait till there’s like 5 to 15 minutes left on the invasion, go to a zone and try to get in a kitten overflow that has the event running, do a event and AFK till it’s over. Boring as all hell.

A good engineer caps out on 25 bleed by himself and keeps permanent poison + burn if they spec for it, but burn is usually abundant anyways thanks to guardians. They also can keep up like a 60%+ uptime on chill with frost grenade by themselves, slowing down boss cooldowns.

Yeah, i had people report/ban me from gw2lfg.com three times in a row yesterday for selling an arah p4 run i duo’d with a friend(took us a while since i hadn’t done path 4 in half a year or so), so i just IP changed and put a new ad when that happened.

Those people were really happy for us selling the spots to my surprise.

What about sigils? Undead slaying instead of force, energy instead of air maybe, or do you think it’s not needed because of all the evade/block skills?

I can confirm that many (or should i say most?)of them have skipped lupi. I sometimes go in people’s runs and kill lupicus while they wait to fill up the group, then usually leave.

So i’ve maxed out my ranger at 80, geared him out in berserker armor and trinkets. I have no idea about Ranger builds and i need a build that’s good for soloing hard content that’s centered on using melee weapons and damage.

Any suggestions for the heal, utility skills and weapons?

1.I know that the developers barely ever visit this part of the forum, but they have said that selling dungeon slots is alright, as long as you have kicked nobody out at the final boss or something just to sell their spots for a quick buck.

2.There is people that solo/duo dungeons and sell the spots(mainly arah) to people who are too lazy(or bad at the game) to clear the paths with their own normal groups.

3. Stop reporting me ingame and on gw2lfg for putting up my path selling ads, please. I have never kicked anyone from my groups in this game before unless they were asking for it with their behaviour. No matter how bad they were at the game.

Back when i started the game, a friend of mine hung out in arah for 6 hours or so. Spoiler: They didn’t finish the run.

I didn’t do arah at all until i thought i was good enough to not be a liability.

Is this for real? I already cringe hard when i end up in 2 hour Fractal Lv48+ runs.

When pug wipes, it’s always the fault of the guy who was doing something different, like meleeing.

Once i joined a pug group who already were at lupicus. I just went in meleeing straight ahead of them and they were freaking out. By phase 2, almost all of them had died or were downed and 1 guy was complaining how i would never try to revive people(reviving people in p2 in range/aoe phase is suicide) and such, but then i ended up completely finishing up p2 and p3 by myself. Needless to say they were shocked.

That’s pretty much the only reason why i ever pug anymore. Can’t pug FotM 48 anymore, because you can’t carry a whole team by yourself on kitten like dredge/cliffside fractal so well though.

I was just asking in reference to Muffin video and the fact I got my kitten handed to me earlier this evening trying to do it… until I saw that the NPC wasn’t anywhere to be found in the room ^^. (I know the last grub pops on nearest toon )

(And I did not mean having stability of CD, I meant having no stability skills like Muffin ^^)

Eh, the best i managed was FGJ/Dolyak sig/Fury sig. I’m not good enough to roll without any defensive utility yet. I always seem to get bubbled at the worst times even though i’m standing still in close range, so i decided to just roll with Dolyak sig.

The only thing I would have done differently are:

• Going for heal turret and combos (#4 of shield explosion for area heal). Though it might be bad in terms of time required to do everything to get the 8k heal (around 2 seconds)
• Gone melee in P1 to get grenades to hit locusts and lupicus at the same time ^^
• Gone with zerk instead of condi (though I own both sets)

Gotta make a video with mine some times once I won’t be lagging anymore though.

Updated OP with SS of the trait window.

As you said, the heal turret seems better for heals as it gives regen too and two water fields you can combo shield #4 with, but the Med Kit has the benefit of medpacks, gives me +50% endu from sigil of energy and, well it’s a kit, so i can get swift/vigor from it aswell.

I ranged P1 because when you chill lupicus, he will kick you twice in a row most of the time, which may result in loss of DPS and is rather risky when you have .5 to 1s lag at times like me.

I picked rampager, because lupicus is lv82 and takes a lot less physical damage, just like the legendary abomination does and i think i killed legendary abom faster with rampager. Don’t have a proper max berserker set on my engi(armor is knights with boon duration runes because someone suggested using this gear to me ages ago) and i really don’t want to bother because i almost never play him.

That being said, i’m actually rather unfamiliar with engineer and completely forgot about some things.

And for you guys soloing him on warrior, I have a quick question Are you able to solo him if the NPC is dead without using stability ? (I always die at P1 switch if the NPC is dead and I don’t have stabililty)

I usually try to not trigger phase 2 without having my stability off cooldown. If you don’t use stability, you just need to get lucky that he doesn’t use his shadowstep right away or something.

OT: What gear have you been using? Seems like rampagers/rabid?

All rampager’s gear but one celestial ring, because saving money. 2X Lyssa Rune, 2X Mad King Rune, 2X Water rune, +40% condi duration food, Skale Venom as utility food, Undead Slaying and Energy Sigils. I also just remembered that there’s Adventurer runes. These would be really good to use with med kit. I’d probably have used those instead of those that i just mentioned for maximum dodge spam and it’d probably allow me to pick another utility instead of tool kit(gear shield).

I’m currently rendering another Engi solo video, this time without failure or any other player in the instance. Should be up on Youtube in about 2 hours or so.
