Toughness(+vitality) and Condition damage = OP. Berserker needs a buff for how much defense and sustain you sacrifice for the damage.

Nerf toughness/vit/healing power…

I realized that this fight is indeed way too easy, even at scale 30-50, so i hope i get molten duo fractals in my next fractal runs.

I like PVP, but all these unbalanced builds, or passive kitten like zoo necros/rangers and the condi spam meta just kitten me off.

Also, lag is far less forgiving in PVE and i’m getting LOTS of it in the last few months.

We need more challenging pve content. Even the gauntlet was great. Robert, where are you? ;_;

Lv49 version coming whenever i can find another group that lets me attempt the final bosses by myself and whenever anet makes ascended weapons+armor less of a pure grind/money sink. I can’t jump over waves because i’m a casual and have terrible euro lag.

Engineer lupi melee/solo is easy as hell. Blocks, endurance regen, stability, RNG reflects, perma vigor and invulnerability, you got it all. It is all available.

It’s harder for me to do it on an engineer than warrior, but easier than the rest. Depends a lot on the build and what you use as utilities.

You could bring them down to low HP and wait until the 30 second timer downs you, then rally from them one by one.

Use fire elemental powder to help with DPS.

I just….after all this kitten i got from pugs and people who can’t read descriptions, i just don’t pug anymore and ask my guilds/friendlist for dungeons and 2-4 man dungeons.

Sometimes i feel like “carrying” pugs and post in LFG for berserker/assassin gear + melee and for them to ping some of their gear. Usually i have to ask people to link some of their gear 5 times until they either leave or link their PVT/conditon gear, then i tell them to read descriptions properly next time, kick them and cry/rage.

After 2-3 kicked pugs i just give up and we proceed clearing the dungeon like that and invite some friendlies for the final boss.

Also, this. So many times i see ranger/necros, as an example, start lfg’s and ask for speedrun/experienced, then i go in there and check them out just for the hell of it. Axebird Bearbows, Staff campers, condiscrubs etc.

It’s no mystery why and how there’s suddenly a lot more arah sellers out there nowadays. I’m guessing most of it can be credited to the youtube user “Guildwars2Exploits”.

Most p2 sellers on LFG skip lupi and exploit other bosses. In 19/20 cases when i joined to buy cheap runs(3-4g & didn’t do p2 that day), people had skipped lupi and i doubt they killed the rest of the bosses legit if they had already skipped lupi. Sometimes they have 1 guy sit at brie while the other one afk kills lupi and i bet people use the brie skip/exploit to afk kill lupi in p3 and p4 too.
What sucks is that even legit sellers get screwed over sometimes because of those.
Too bad that we’ll probably not see any fix to those exploits until scarlet invades arah or something.

Catch me ingame and i can invite you to some runs. We might make use of Irregularities like skipping mobs and stacking, though, so if you’re the kind that gets freaked out by those things, it may not be adviseable for you to join.

I’ve gained about 150k worth of karma since they nerfed karma across the board and removed it from dungeons and i play almost every day.

Before the dungeon karma removal, i’d get about 20-40k karma daily from just doing dungeons.

Someone needs to make a “[Guide] How to kick exploiting/lupi skipping path sellers” Guide.

Yes, cliffside is also all about damage. Not sure what kind of trash players you’ve picked up, but i’ve had my fair share of those.

I’ve also had groups that wiped to chanters at the arm seals(on old lv28-48) while i was going to the other side to smash the seal. The 4 of them had such little damage that they couldn’t clear chanters in time without getting wiped, because they deal such high damage.

For me, “play how you want” is just an excuse to use bad builds, play badly, get carried, […] etc.

I have several buddies from one of my guilds who’d run trashy builds on purpose most of the time, because they either enjoy them more or simply acknowledge they’re bad at the game, which i don’t really care about, because they’re good people.

With pugs, however….

Let’s say they don’t stay in my groups for long, unless they carefully read the description before joining and do/use what they’re asked for(berserker gear&melee as much as possible).

I’ve been running 30/10/0/30/0 HGH elixirs with Assassin armor/Berserker trinkets battle sigil, 2 altruism/+30% BD runes on my engineer with +40% condi food for dungeon boss solos up until now. Since the patch i switched to the 30/30 build and wondered, what rune setup would be better now?

Since a large chunk of grenade’s damage comes from conditions(bleed mainly), i wasn’t sure if i should just drop the boon duration and go full ranger or scholar.

With my current setup i can keep up 12-15 might on myself almost permanently, if i removed those runes and swapped to ranger or scholar, it’d go down to ~6 might stacks.

I wondered i’d ask you since you seem like you’ve got the numbers down and i would like to optimize my damage.

I haven’t yet seen you play your necro. In fact, i have only seen one other not-condition-not-ranging-not-bad necro in my dungeons ever so far.

One day you’ll need to show me how one plays necro efficiently.

And in what shape or form are these people affecting your gameplay? If i wanted to run a path, i’d host a group myself. If not, i wouldn’t bother with those people. Though if you find players selling arah p2 and haven’t killed lupicus, then feel free to give them the boot or w/e.

I’m not really new and i haven’t pugged (the majority of my group)in a long time. If i don’t find people for X dungeon, i just duo/trio arah or AC instead and sell/give away the other spots for other friendlies to leech, but here’s one.

About an hour ago me and xsquared wanted to duo arah, but we got godawful skill delay(about 2-3 seconds of lag every 5-8 seconds or so, we play from EU on US servers) which made the game almost unplayable. Had to dodge attacks before the animation even happened. Virtually impossible, but since i can almost fight lupi blindfolded on my warrior, we still managed to get lupi down to <50% in the 2 attempts we did, then we put up an LFG, got 1 random guard and lightning from DnT joined, finished the rest of the run like on a regular speedrun.

I’m going to take a break of gw2 until this horrendously bulldoggie lag gets fixed.

What the hell is this? I have to use a VPN and an American IP to be able to get past the character select screen and into the game at all(with a ping of up to 4000ms).

Without a VPN, it just gives me this error and kicks me out of the game.(View Attachment)

Berserker&Assassin Exotic Armor is like 1g per piece right now. Weapons are also extremely cheap. Don’t buy rares.

Big ol bomb instantly explodes for 30k+ damage if 1 or more people get pulled from it, downing everyone in melee that gets hit by it and i think it explodes another time afterwards.

You also don’t seem to be able to avoid the Daggerstorm by just melee-“pushing” alphard anymore. It looks like they made a band-aidfix by just outright removing the casttime on the daggerstorm(the “taunt”). She just instantly starts spinning.

So all the devs did was changed som values/numbers for this boss and made it quite more challenging as a result, instead of the (half-)AFK fest it used to be. I like it!
I also am looking forward how pugs will deal with this from now on. Full ranging i guess or stacking reflects like there’s no tommorrow?

Also this just in: The P2 waypoint after the Spider run past belka also doesn’t activate until way later. That makes two pugbusters in one!

Opinions?

Rangers don’t have as many damage % modifiers like elementalists do and conjures have fixed weapon/skill damage*power coefficients afaik, so i don’t think so.
