ITT: Bads that got carried through fractal lv20 and got the skin they wanted on their first few tries and don’t want others to get them too.

Admit it, none of you but OP has probably even done many fractals or reached lv48. Me for example, i got only 8 weapons out of ~150 full lv38/48 clears and still haven’t gotten the weapons i wanted since 10 months but my friend got all 4 that i wanted and doesn’t even use them.

I support the idea to an extent, but there still should be some requirements on using the weapons i.e. at least a personal level of X on said character(s).

Berserker gear is the best gear.

I’m very sure that bloomhunger crits when he has the spirit up that gives him the large fury icon. Sun spirit, maybe? Makes his green bolts do like 250% of it’s normal damage at 48 i have noticed a while back. Occasionally i’d get more damage than usual from certain mobs. Mobs with guns seemingly tend to crit a lot.

You know what also doesn’t make sense? What happens if you get “hit” by the grub skill? After 5 or so seconds, the grub seems to burst outside your stomach or something, but it does no damage!

Yeah someone was advertising for 6g. So i advertised for 5g and he whispered me, seeming a bit upset that I was asking for less than him.

I’ve had had about 5 people whisper and report me in less than a week. The actual number of reports is probably bigger.

It takes me about 40 minutes to solo p2 without exploits and i’m pretty bad compared to people like Muffin.

As for anet dev answer, they have probably answered somewhere else on the forum. Devs never post in the dungeon section as there’s no dungeon team anymore.

This thread again? As far as i’m concerned, anet devs were okay with people selling dungeon slots, as long as nobody has been kicked against their will. If you get kicked, report people and they’ll highly likely get banned. This has been the case for months now, nothing wrong with it, like you said, if people do this legit.

Protip: If there is only two people left in the group and the party leader kicks every single person, the instance gets terminated. If the people leave voluntarily, the instance leader can stay inside the dungeon by himself, not terminating the dungeon instance, so if you see someone selling 4 spots, you can be sure that he did not kick the people.
Of course i took into consideration that 2 people could have teamed up and kicked everyone but 3 and the last guy would just leave himself, but come on, how many times does this actually happen?

Same here on my LH berserker ele. It also doesn’t help that a single hit of Frenzied Blast downs me unless there’s at least 5% defense/hp boosts from WvW.

Tazza (Final boss of SE1) hasn’t dropped loot for months either. I presume this is intented though, as there are 5 other bosses dropping bags on the already very short path.

If you fight Troop commander Kaeyi and Tazza at the same time, as it’s intended by anet, you get loot from both of them. A friend insisted on killing both the last time i did SE P1, so that’s why i know.

Are you the one paying people money to help at lupi? I just ask because you’re kind of the only seller who is not skipping lupicus (which is a good thing).

You know, CoE is still ridiculously hard for non “optimized”(i use this word carefully) groups, do you?
Whenever i pug, which is almost all the time, it’s usually just me and sometimes another guy alive at CoE and the run ends up taking a long time.
Though i kind of agree with you. Whenever i do this dungeon with a group of (full berserker geared)friends, it feels like the easiest dungeon in the game.

Let’s just hope Arena-Net doesn’t kitten up the new reward systems. Especially for (high level) Fractals.

You were doing it wrong then, as far as dungeons/pve go, banner warriors with the new regen signet are able to facetank a lot of crap, possibly even more than guardians. Add in adrenal health, cleric trinkets and regen food and you easily get 1k passive regen per sec without having to push any button. No other class can come even close on that field.

Meanwhile, i deal extreme amounts of DPS with full berserker Axe/Mace while getting ~700 HP/s from the healing signet + Omnomberry Ghost(~340 heal on crit, 1 second internal cooldown, 90%+ crit chance at all times).

While facetanking things are cool for a while, you may want to reconsider builds for dungeons.

So, since Illusion of Life had been nerfed to have a disgusting long cast time, it has also been extremely buggy ever since.

Whenver allies under Illusion of Life kill a target, they get downed again instead of rallying completely. Is this intended? If it is, then this skill essentially has been made the worst reviving skill out of all of them. Even Guardian’s Signet of Mercy or Elementalists’ Glyph of Renewal(/Revival?) is much better than this, since they actually revive targets.

Will this get fixed any time soon or no? Many of us would appreciate a fix to this, since i’ve been using this a lot in Pugs and it’s been a lifesaver many times;mainly vs. bosses, since it’s useless against any encounter where you can actually rally.

I’ve seen a .gif showing the exact issue with this. If anyone got that one saved, feel free to post it too.

How is this “wasting time”? Failing on arm seals and (rage)quitting is wasting time. I’ve seen threads about people not being able to get past the arm seals, no matter what, on and off for close to 9 months now. How’s that wasting time showing people to get past that part without much problems? I’ve probably “wasted” hundreds of hours in and out of the game helping people with different things, be it dungeons, builds and whatever on a rather unrelated note. Also, you don’t speak for everyone, do you?

If it was unintended, it wouldn’t have been ignored for over 7 months or am i missing things? They fixed a lot of bugs more or less quickly like the svanir boss rock camping, several dredge teleport bugs, mossman tree/underwater cheesing etc.

If you have one good thief or mesmer, you can easily do this part.

If there’s volunteers, i’d like to record a video from a mesmer’s point of view for the arm seals with respawning chanters.
It takes 5 to 10 minutes depending on how good the rest of the team at preventing the chanters from regenerating the north seal with “my” method.

It’s really fool proof and works even at FotM 50++. It basically involves the Mesmer/Thief to use portal or shadowstep with stealth.

Players like you contribute to all the bad in the game. Gw2 is a game where you need to know a dungeon to run it well. Comment’s like these keep players from admitting they’re new, which can cause problems. Why would you go out of your way to pull the op down, when you could have built him up, or not posted at all and/or just played the game?

I realize my post was way too harsh and i apologize, but i’m kind of sick seeing “NERF X DUNGEON/CONTENT TOO HARD” threads every few hours, are you not?

And yes, i do play the game. I usually just post on the forums when i’m either not at home or waiting for something/someone(ingame).

Those three friends of yours weren’t that experienced as you thought they’d be, then. I’ve ran this dungeon often enough even after the revamp to say almost everything in there is easy as hell.

I often end up having to solo the Spider Queen on my Mesmer/Guardian whenever i go with pugs, because they just can’t avoid the green circles or clear the little spiders before destroying the fire shooting gargoyle thingies.

Honestly, one good player is enough to carry a completely bad group through AC(all paths).

Xhyros: I’m a mesmer player, so i just keep up sword clones, warden and disenchanter. That way, the golem barely ever has his buffs up.

I -think- Warden also reflects the turret buff shots. Warden is good here in general, because the golem likes to fire off shots that crit him for ~20k three times.

Also that static field can also get reflected, which hits for a lot.

Also waiting for a fix for this ridiculous lag.

Having this 3 to 5 second skill delay/lag since about 2 months.
I’m connecting to US servers from Germany(Europe, if for some reason you didn’t know where it’s located at), connection was just fine before. Now it’s a pain to TRY to play this. Gets even worse with many people around, in dungeons or mob heavy infested areas, heck, i get disconnected quite often aswell.

No, it’s not my internet connection or ISP. I run DSL 16000 and every other online application or game runs just fine.

Here’s a screenshot of my resourcemonitor showing my current ping to US servers. It keeps fluctuating from 300 to 500 ping, but stays around 450+ usually.

There must be a fix to this.

Nice idea, but i’d rather suggest using TS3 and of course giving trusted people kicking privileges, because who knows how many random reta®ds or wannabe “epic trollz” you could get in there from putting server IPs to places like gw2lfg.

I haven’t yet gotten to play with any people from [Rome] yet, though i had been asked for a few CoFs, but didn’t have time at those moments.

Though my main question is, after reading the thread, is there any people in either of these guilds listed that do FotM Lv48(>38) regularly?

So far, i’ve been only pugging FotM with 1 buddy of mine and the rate of crap to good players @FotM 48 is usually at 70/30. Most people can’t deal with stuff like the legendary grawl shaman at all and it’ll take us 30-60 minutes for that fight alone.

God forbid you get one of those “ranger mains” with 5000-9000 achievement points that refuse to use any other character. So far, every ranger with high achievement points have been utter garbage, not even kidding. I have yet to get a good ranger or necro for fractals.
Doesn’t mean there’s not tons of dumb players of the other professions.

If the person played on an 80 throughout the dungeon and contributed more than their fair share, then I’m 100% okay with them swapping as long as they do it right. I prefer to level my alts through swapping as opposed to dumping 150g into crafting, and I’m happy to oblige other people who want to as long as they aren’t baggage.

I agree with this. If someone is contributing, let them swap. I have probably done it over a hundred times by now to level alts, but i always informed my groups when i would do that. Though most times the group consisted of mostly people i knew. Sometimes, in terrible groups/Pugs, they would wipe without me so i would just stick to the end with my lv80 even though i mostly only do dungeons to level alts or help buddies.

@OP: Needless to say, i would never tolerate you in my groups ever after such an act.

In all honesty though, even at lv48 this guy fires his agony stuff from and remains longer in stealth than not. Sometimes he stealths, runs around, instagibs two people nearby, shoot an agony axe on his main target and restealth again in less than two seconds. Also he is always after my 1836 armor Mesmer for whatever reason. He seems to like people wearing light clothing.

I would also like to add that Mossman is 10x easier than Bloomhunger, who can still wipe the floor with bad party comp or just if your group doesnt dodge or get rid of spirits in time, while Mossman is almost only about the guy, who has main aggro, kiting him around the place. I recently figured out that the Fury buff from the spirit multiplies his damage by around 2,5 times. Just as a FYI to people to take it out first. The Might buffing one didnt seem to increase its regular damage much.

Dev team, please.

GS sucks, Staff sucks for damage, Scepter sucks in general.

If only the Phantasms had some more sustain in PvE, i could see Staff being a somewhat decent alternative to DPS’ing.
What else will i use now as a ranged weapon? I almost exclusively only do FotM 48/38 on my Mesmer nowadays. I may just put on another MH sword+pistol, or something.

They better freaking do. It’s sad to see it hit only 2000 to 3000 damage MAX with ~116% crit damage and 3300+ attack power pretty much consistently. Usually even less. The 2-3k damage is with all hits being crits, even.

Phantasmal Berserker is currently a joke of a supposed damage skill.

Sad what? Because you got lucky and your phantasm landed 3 or 4 hits for once or you’re using it on a dummy in LA? Meanwhile, warriors hit 15-20k damage in their MH axe autoattack chain in a total of 6 hits over 5 ish seconds..
Go test out the Berserker’s damage in Orr against different risen mobs and post your results here.

It should be hitting for at least 6-7k in my setup, in it’s non-bugged state.

Speaking of fractals. Can we now finally do Lv50+ again without being hardcapped by Maw agony anymore?

When they hardcapped Fractals, most people would have 25 AR (or 30 AR if they were wealthy enough to spend 250 Ectos for the Infused Backpack) when doing FotM Lv48+. Now it’s at 40 to 45.

Will we be able to go higher once devs finally decide to further develop fractals in the far future?

Yeah, did lots of EBJP porting aswell. Same story here. Nowadays i just do it whenever i’m feeling nice or when there’s enemies coming up.

I was pretty much the first person to start the Portaling-chain on my server, once i found out that there’s a sample over there at the other island. Ported up a considerable amount of people, then left, just to hear that other mesmers that i had ported up earlier were getting tips for that.

Didn’t really care about it much, but it did kind of irk me, though.

You can do a full chain of the sword autoattack while spending the two charges from Mantra of Pain. Remember that the Power Spike skill is instant cast and that you can do anything while spending those two charges. Also, you can do two Spatial Surges, recharge your Mantra of Recovery, shoot two or three winds of chaos, blurred frenzy, whatever, while using 2X Power Spike.

Scepter is complete kitten Do not use it.
