If i would go chill i would take grenth runes and sigil of hydromancy. Tho otherwise dont think it would be smart to do a build only around chill on crit that last 5 sec on 30 sec cd :p . And maybe take also 30 points in zeal , take 10% cond dmg fom power to increase cond (burn and chill and maybe vulnerability) duration and give your burn higher ticks. With this you also get vulnerability from symbols.
And i think 5 in virtues is a must, since that is so awesome and dont know why they let it in tier 1 minor trait :p . Other 5 i would put into radiance for burn refresh on mob kill.

i tried 20/30/0/10/10 with heal turreet, bomb kit, flamethrower kit and RB with rifle and soldier (upgrade is rabid) and udndead runes for total 700 cond dmg. I used it in spvp and tpvp and it was quite good …. good mobility, almost never died cuz RB also nice escape ability combined with mine imobilize and constant swiftnes and vigor. Only time i got pwned at escaping was when op thief used all his closing skill to kill me.
Yeah some cond dmg could be out of hand but some classes condition remove like ele or bunker guard is also out of hand …. if anything both things should be toned down.

Ppl that say warr suck should just try some other build or l2p and less cry, cuz there are many good warrior teams in tPvP where warriors just dominate. Meaning in specific situation they could be put on S tier.
Tho in A tier are classes that can do good in every team composition vs any oponent, but tier B classes are only good in certain composition and with good comunication. The S tier ….. thats just my preferance, that op regen, dmg and survival huehue :p.

Why some armours have different colours if you use same dye? Like if you mix (heavy) Ascalon armour with Vigil and use same dye, you would notice that the colour on armours is not the same. Same thing i noticed is with an orrian armour with karma one. I uderstand if it is cloth/plate that the colour cant be same on both, but plate/plate should look the same. This is very anoying since you cant properly mix any armour item.
Just one question how it works ….. if we join together, as party with 4 ppl (me+3), does that mean we get enemies similar rank as our average rank, as our lowest/highest rank, as my rank (since i am the one who am joining us) or something else? Taking in consideration that my team is made of ppl rank 50%-97%.
Tho in pvp staff 1 is very situational and sometimes you cant hit anything with it. Since it is designed like that (“hard hit”, easy to miss/dodge) it should give use more LF, at lest 5%.
And ofc speaking untraited. If you go conditions with scepter you are lucky if you get enaug LF once in a fight (pvp again) to cast DS 2,3, before others take it away in 1 or 2 auto hits.
Imagine warrior without third adrenaline bar, would feel just as kitten as condition necro with his LF starvation.

Since DS is main mechanic of necromancer it is silly that some main hand weapons generate almost non of it or overall very little. So in my opinion it would make sense if every weapon 1 would be standard Life force generator on hit (small generation for every hit or one big generation of follow up third attack). And other spells that have LF generation would be there just to speed it up.
The nemesis terror wvw build became even more powerfull . And you can get 100% fear duration which means 2 sec of fear x.x
I love love love that they put burning trait in spite, it improves my build very much. Only thing i hate is that is should be Master trait and not Grandmaster.
Oh and didnt they say they will make bigger staff marks as baseline without trait?

If the downed state would be improved like this, than also necromancer and engineer needs improving. Tho it would be better to bring every downed state to this lvl or combat would get too silly.
If i solo queue i always get well organised premade teams at or past rating 96% :/ . Than i lost 1 and win 2 and am still at 96% x.x or on very bad day i can also loose around 6 games in a row cuz we always get well organised premade teams x.x .
Warrior is viable in pvp, maybe not op as elemntalists or bm rangers but somewhere average. Dont know if the last one is joke or not :p . In my opinion, the downed state from war is not problem – those ppl will still cry its not viable. If anything i would increase heal on shouts and regeneration on banners and maybe also regeneration on heal signet and as long as lyssa runes are as they are warrior dont need more condition removals :p. (<- my opinion).

I just tried your build and must say it is amazing! I was using nemesis fear build in tpvp but i felt it is somewhat lackluster. Only problem i had with this build were together mesmer and eles vs me with constant aoe, kocking, imobilization, daze and huge dmg x.x and lack of dodges on my part. Thanks for shaing it, i can now drop ppl so fast.
Ok, waking my old thread ….. Custom arenas are fine, but not what i was asking for. So once more …. can we get game mod same as rated tournaments just not rated? Take LoL for example … having beside custom games, rated matches and same as rated also not rated matches….
I kiled pet and i knock them away but in both cases the ranger was still healing himself afterwards….. After knockback the healing was just delayed 1 sec.

First anet must improve their crapy servers where you get lag and dc for no reason. last game we had like 380-350 for our team than got dc and when came back we lost…. Not to mention constant lag and delay i got durring game while my internet was doing just fine.
Maybe you used some spell that made you invulnerable so you troped it and enemy picked it up.
Did anyone else have footage from Thursday, or is it only Flow and me?

As guardian i have some trouble beating phantasmal mesmer that use sword/X and staff. Had no problem when they run greatsword but if they swich to staff … that just kill me. I also tried killing phantasmals first but didnt work. So here i ask if you know any build or gear or tactic that could help me do the work (in tPvP ofc).
The other one is trap ranger, tho i run many condition removal their dmg is just better then mine and if i use melee attacks i step into traps and if i use range (scepter) than his damage is just higher than mine and finish me faster.
Any tip regarding those two is apreciated.

It would be epic if the condition was aoe like elementalis aura boon or guardian traited f2 virtue boon, just instead of regeneration it would be degeneration, doing % dmg of their health every sec. And would be active all the time or at least 10 sec.
The number 1 arch enemy o bunker engi is smart shatter mesmer or rangers who use his root elite …. or 2 burst thieves can also do the job :p.
I cant kill you but i can push you off the point to at least make point neutral, or make 3 of 5 ppl busy while teammates captures other points.
And i agree to OP completely, anet should buff engi dmg outside of grenades, since now they cant even kill glasscanon.

I bet they will give it to ranger just to buff those underpowered souls. And make it even stronger version of that necro will have.
Saw the thread where there was suggestion of making gadgeds similar to signets….
I have just one suggestion how to overcome the situation if turrets are killed and because they are imobile. While your turrets are on cd or you are outside of their range or you still havent put them down, you should get passive efect. For rifle turret you would get x% chance to bleed foe on hit, flame burning, bumper knockdown, net imobilize, rocket remove boon and healing turret chance to heal on hit or remove condition.
So whats your opinion ppl?
This is the first time I’ve ever heard that there’s not enough condition removal in the game. For the past 6 months it’s been like, “all my conditions are instantly cleansed wtf halp” in this forum and on the subreddit, like one thread every couple weeks. Interesting.
Yeah if you play necromancer, that only strong condition is bleed, and shortlived ocasional, poison, chill and weakness and even bleeds you need quite some more time to stack them, than your post is correct (excluding curroption which works only if the other have many boons and/or not block/dodge/run out of it).
Comparing to that the rangers (some engies, mesmers, elementalists, thieves?) are completely different than that. In my opinion they should tone them little down and buff little other condition classes (necros, warriors).
In my opinion it is only out of cotroll at rangers, they apply them so fast … and so many … its just impossible. Ok maybe also specific spec of mesmer and hgh engineer.
And when i play guardian with that spell that burns the grounds and remove conditions. … if i am against ranger than he faster reaply conditions than that spell manages to cleanse.
Oh and also problem is long lasting poison that i saw on thief build. If you win a fight but your cond removal is on cd, you wont get out of combat and will stay with lower health, making him ress and come back (or anyone else) and finish the job.
Beside, ranger was still shooting me while invisible, no matter if i moved left or right, the arrows were still folowing me, like he still has me targeted. And pets should attack you again while you come out of stealth … not while you are stelthed. Fail mechanics are fail….
I can confirm this … happened yesterday a lot in tPvP, not just on me but also failed to stealth other. Beside this, when i was still invisible i used decoy (the one you go invisible and leave clone behind) and instead of making invisible longer i imediately got visible. Dont know if that happens everytime when you usei t like that tho.
Oh and also the downed statte invisible has same problem , radomly shortens the duration, without using any attack spell.

In my opinion hotjoin should be done just like tournaments are just without ratings (also the way yo ujoin it and cant join others till its finished).
Reason for this is that i cant test new builds in hotjoin versions. If i join 10 team there is always one or more leaving (not full team) making it very unbalanced or they are dueling. At 16 teams it is always zergfest, pointless to take any value of build from there. So if i want to see how my build do i must always join tournaments.
Maybe only difference beside rating is that you can choose on what map you would like to be. Beside tournaments and hotjoins that are like tournaments there would be also custom arenas where ppl can rent server for duels or some guild aaction.
So whats your opinion ppl? Atm also those 16 ppl hotjoins are just silly anyway and have no place in current sPvP and 10 hotjoins are jsut unreliable. Or at least leave hotjoins as they are and just add unrated version of tournaments that it plays same as rated.
Immobilizes are particularly dangerous: healing builds use medkit because of the good bandage scaling. But you have to be able to move in order to heal yourself with them. That’s why you see them running around in circles.
I agree imbolize is the most dangerous (beside knocks) but not because you cant use bandages, in my experiance the bandages still healed me in that state. Maybe not always but prety often. The movement to avoid dmg is bigger problem with that.

I use this build. Had most sucess and fun with it. No major weakness with it. Maybe regeneration/tank rangers 1v1, since you could have problem killing that :p. Strenght is damage, utility and tankyness.

Yes it does have place, it gives you more time to tag ppl to get kills and loot…. you silly ppl.
Lots of people wants to have them ingame. And i have an idea how to implement it without hurting the game. They should be an x second cast item that, when mounted, gives perma swiftness and maybe some dash on “dodge”. So mounts wouldnt give some extra super speed but gives you some easy acess for swiftness. Beside ofc looking good.

Hello i am a member of guild Inconclusive, on server Ruins of Surmia. Guild is casual, wvw, pve, pvp oriented and also have our own forum http://theinconclusive.guildlaunch.com/index.php?gid=308502 and voice comunicator-raidcall. And current leader is Ventru Uth Matar.
We are looking for new friendly and helpfull players to form something greater, with us. We got some room since we are clearing inactive players (till 15. march), not those who are away for few days but those who are away very very long time without any notifications. This guild is here since launch, with few ups and downs, we survived till this day, meaning we are strong and we care for each other, not leting anyone behind.
Status at the moment (2. march): We are looking daily to play dungeons, today we also tried first guild mission. For temple runs we are little to low in numbers, to do them alone at the moment, but we done many of them in the past. We also have guild events, just tomorrow we have pvp event, “best of INC”, where winner will get 15g beside bragging rights. For wvw we are still forming officers, but you can frequently see INC players in those worlds.
