Your skin will wrinkle and your youth will fade, but your soul is endless.
As much as I love Elona and Cantha, I’m starting to be more interested in the un-named areas in OP map.
What’s out there? It calls to the adventurer in me!
I think the cap is there so truly completionist people can go outside once in a while.
Why would we want to do that? There’s people out there!
I’m also enjoying the game.
What?! You’re not allowed to enjoy this game. Now we have to fight, prepare to defend yourself!
~am I doing this right~
Female Asura longhair.
There was a thread about this recently.
I tend to talk about nachos in map chat. You’d be surprised by how many positive responses I get.
I also use nachos as a greeting.
Not ruined for me. As a open world PvE only player (I don’t WvW, raid, and only fractal sometimes), I’m totally enjoying Heart of Thorns.
I really don’t understand where all these doom and gloom threads come from.
Konig saves the thread!
~crowd goes wild~
With all these threads complaining about map completion, I wonder if I’m the only one in the game that has the patience to do multiple map completions.
I DO pay an optional subscription in the form of $15 and $25 gem cards.
Since I bought this game last year for $10, I’ve spent $160 in gem cards.
The most important survey submission:
V I N Y L
Yep, even my tiny Asura transmorgifies into a giant, murder-minded, and most likely un-showered Charr in that fractal.
My only question at this time, and I realize that it probably falls under the can’t-answer-because-it’s-a-possible-spoiler section but….
…what’s east of Blazeridge Steppes? There’s a large land mass in that direction, what could be there? The Adventurer/Explorer in me is really itching to go there.
Tonight I didn’t bother with anything except finding Airship Cargoes. I had 225 Pact Crowbars at the start and ended up with 157 before I moved on to do something else.
EDIT: Fixing phone autocorrect spelling.

Didn’t read the thread, but at this point I would totally accept a new world that was free to join if it meant that my guild friends and I could finally play together without paying a ridiculous amount of gold to get on the same server..
After 3+ years i have no idea. Or how to report blackmailers in pvp. Or how to report a person without any weapons in pvp. Reporting in pvp is still just a big mystery to me too buddy.
Blackmailers? I don’t PvP, so can I trouble you to explain this one to me?
Well sometimes people on your team threaten not to play unless you send them xy amout of gold.
I see. Wow!

@Endless Soul It’s not a troll thread…
Ok, so it’s a “I’m mad that other people are making money/mats/other stuff so I want to put an end to it” thread then?
With Guild Wars Guru shutting down soon (/bowhead), yeah I’d go reddit Guild Wars too.
I don’t have the math minutia, but I’ve only been playing this game since April 2015, and I’ve repeated Agent of Entropy 288 times over the 2,353 hours of my in-game existence.

I’m being selfish and only thinking of me!
Yeah, pretty much.
I don’t understand why anyone is complaining about it?
Because it’s killing the rest of the game. Don’t you get it? GW2 is completely dead now except for this one lone map. Dead I tell you. Dead.
What do you mean “rest of the game?” You mean there’s something beyond Auric Basin?
I can’t say what the most common is, but I can tell you mine:
Asura Female Necromancer.
Wow, this is amazing! Well done.
I originally read this as “Give Asura their own server.”
I’m very amused at this troll thread.
Killer Queen
I can hear the song every time.
A jungle should be hard to navigate. A jungle should be dangerous. Not sure what op was expecting.
The issue is that most people wanted the story to be “look at how I got my Precursor in 10 minutes at no cost!”
Not me, I prefer the long process with a story instead of buying it instantly off the Trading Post.
-DISMANTLE-
I see what you did there, and I approve.
Necro post.
~They’re coming to get you penelope~
Charr #1 I think is the one I regularly see.
Charr #2 is new to me.Both don’t appear to be wearing zodiac. Both appeared in MP tonight… I’d like to think it was for these vanity shots.
Yup… Radioactive Legion.
~EW
Is that the very same Charr I posted a pic of earlier?
More proof that the Asura are the best at everything, even death screams.
I regularly delete my 2nd stack of crowbars be cause I always have too much. Don’t know what you do. Maybe do events instead of just looting the airship cargos.
Right? I can’t spend Pact Crowbars fast enough. Even when I open lots of Airship Cargoes, I’m always leaving the map with a lot more crowbars than what I started with. I now have just under one full stack of them.
I came for the necromancer. I stayed for the reaper.
~puke~
I have an offical response on this subject finally, after many hours and emails to get a senior level GM to respond. That GM gave me permission to Copy/Paste his response in this thread as my own so that I can try and clear this up for everyone (My only goal in all of this, btw)
They may push an offical notice on this per my request, I really hope they do.
~snipped for cleanliness~
So there we have it, once and for all.
Now we can all put this to bed.
That would be nice, but now here come the pages and pages of posts explaining why they feel that the GM is unclear or flat out wrong.
Just remember op, the common denominator to all your problems is you.
Good luck to you in the future.
Sorry I can’t be more sympathetic, you guys knew the risks.
Dulfy is on it!

As expected!
As a PvE only player, I was scrolling through the patch notes, dreading to see the necromancer section. There didn’t seem to be one…this time.
Also, as a necromancer, I know exactly how many of these nerfs in other professions feel.
Ugly to you, pretty nice looking to someone else.
If Divinity’s Reach is somehow involved, I had premonitions about that last year.
It’s funny op mentions that it’s difficult to tell when it’s night time. Just the other day when I was in one of the maps I was reminded of those old black and white Western Movies (the Cowboys and Indians kind) where their version of “night” was to film in full daylight and put a darkened tint over the lens (at least I think that’s how they did it). it was still day, just not as bright.
On a side note, the sky over Rata Sum at night is spectacular!
Blade shards. Please let me deposit blade shards.
By the alchemy, YES!
Interesting.
I main a necromancer and I use Bone Minion, Rise!, and Flesh Golem 90% of the time, and I have no problems “deactivating” them. Bone Minions, I just explode them when I don’t need them anymore. my Rise! herd of happy dead hamsters die off after a short wait, and I simply swap Flesh Golem with another skill to deactivate it.
No problems for me. ~shrugs~
The only mini I really want, is a Mini Glory of Tyria to go with my Mini Pact Airship.
But it’s obvious you’re only gonna read what you want to read rather than what is actually written.
it’s actually the opposite here. Those on the side that it is fine are the ones reading only what they want to rather than what was written.
Not really, I don’t particularly care either way (on the one hand I don’t want people AFK farming but on the other I think banning for it is very excessive) and I read it as clearly allowing it. And the way I read it is a lot more sensible then I’d have given Anet credit for, given some banning decissions early on.
You were reading to much into what they said.
I guess we’ll see if they ever decide to address this. I’m pretty sure they are aware of it.
Of course they’re aware of it. There were several forum and Reddit posts kewing about it, several making the front page on each.
Sure, it’s cheap and smarmy, but it’s also passively countered by Diminishing Returns. If ANet decides to do something about the AFK farm, they’ll probably sneak it in that way, rather than going out of their way to ban players for an ‘exploit’ that is working as intended. A change like that won’t even make the patch notes.
I’d rather they take a more amusing method of dealing with AFK farmers by summoning a champ mob with an AoE death-smear ability. And it could come at any time, in any place, someone sits there and lets minions kill for them. Because “he can attack anywhere,” you know.
They’re just doing 14 day suspensions as shown on the previous page.
To be honest, I’m sure we’d get a response if we were to contact a local bakery and have them send over some cookies, a cake, or something.
This is a game company we’re talking about. Monster energy drinks and bags of Doritos should be sent over.
Ahh yes, pocket raptors. At first I was “Oh, how cute! ow! OW! AUUGH!”
Now, with my reaper, I like to aggro 2 or 3 groups of them as I cast a well, shout “rise!” and spin them to death while in shroud. It’s lots of fun.
Those Smokescales are no joke though!
I don’t know the distance between the harvesting synthesizers and the Scribing station in the Gilded Hollow, since I don’t have a guild with that hall. But in Lost Precipice, those 2 are right next to each other. If it’s an inconvenience to cross the distance between the 2, it’s a very minor inconvenience at best.
In somewhat-upgraded Gilded Hollow, the scribing station and synthesizer nodes are just a few steps away from each other.
In fully upgraded Gilded Hollow, it’s a short run.
Also, I fully agree that scribing materials should get a section in material storage.
I’m just happy to have lived during the era of Guild Wars.
