I’ve been holding off converting gold to gems because of the price but I’ve seen no signs of it dropping again and today there is likely to be a new set of goodies on promo. Maybe the current price is the new “normal”.

I’ve been doing the same thing, hoping it drops back to more reasonable prices. There’s no way I’m paying 90+g for 400 gems.

Personally, I blame the quaggans for this mess.

I would like those “Your post has been moved” messaging the forum moderators send to have an automatic deletion timer on them. Deleting messages from the mailbox seems to have a lot of clicking, and you can’t actually go in and mass delete. Some days I can get 10-12 of those.

Just wondering, would any else also wish that those messages automatically deleted themselves after a certain timer?

But, then if all those “Your post has been moved” messages were deleted, my PM section would be empty.

The only bad part about that entire map is that you have to go through Scarlet’s house to get to the western half. If you didn’t do the story there’s no way you would even know that without looking it up and god is it frustrating going back and forth, up and down, trying to get to that side without knowing that.

They really should have thought that part through.

Just stupid from a story point as well. I guess anyone traveling that way- merchants, soldiers, bandits, everyone at some point traipsed through scarlets house?

These skills are not toxic, you just need to learn to play. Unloading on a player hiding behind a WoR is your mistake. You did it no one else. Stealth is fine as it is. if you went invulnerable while in stealth, Thieves would be OP.

This just seems like one players QQ thread because he’s getting owned.

Ok so, personal experience but I’d bet that I am right since I’ve farmed SW events into oblivion and seen this happen too often for it to be a coincidence.

To maximize the spawn of a legendary boss do not run around like a headless chicken hoping for the best, instead do the following: Pick a keep, get the defense lvl to 3 and hold it there. You need to run the supply bulls to the keep aswell since higher supply level seems to be a factor in the spawn rate.

I usually see atleast one leggy per sw run I do this way, and besides more events = more stuff.

This has been what I’ve noticed as well.

I don’t think the Charr care much for aesthetics. Besides, I don’t think of it as a city, more like a large fortress. A poorly planned one at that (unless the plan was to confuse any would-be invaders that will get lost within the chaotic architecture, then it’s highly successful).

I lean more towards the simple, subdued looks myself. Nothing really flashy or glowy at all. Not even the weapons.

My necromancer wears the Heritage set, very humble really. While many others have their human mesmer wearing pretty flashy outfits (and there’s nothing wrong with that), mine is wearing the jungle explorer outfit with a rather plain greatsword.

I like not standing out. I like looking average. Enemies tend to underestimate you this way.

If you think that’s bad, may I direct you to a certain plant soldier in Camp Resolve that’s worried about Mordremoth having the ability to strike anywhere.

My reaper is full ascended berserker and she survives most of her Silverwastes and Maguuma encounters with judicious use of her minions and reaper shroud, provided she isn’t swarmed (protecting Blue Oasis by herself for example).

My warrior, however, also full berzerker, needs some rework as he hasn’t quite managed to master dodging just yet. He does look quite impressive while in action though.

I don’t Play PvP. I guess Deathly Chill was a problem in PvP, well then change it in PvP. From a PvE perspektive I feel punished for something I haven’t done.

Yup, too bad that spectral walk trick no longer works.

It doesn’t? Good thing I got all those golden badges in Silverwastes then with the help of Spectral Walk. Some of those jumping puzzles to get the golden badges make Not So Secret look like easy level.

It took me two jump attempts to get this one on my necromancer. While I did not use any help from a mesmer, I did use Spectral Walk quite a bit.

The thrill of completion at the end was totally worth it.

I sometimes refer to Zerina as the Dark Librarian due to the Arcanus Obscurus focus and the dark themed Heritage armor set.

I don’t understand the desire to want mounts just because every other game out there has them.

I know exactly how you feel as I hate abbreviations too. It took me a while to figure out what CC meant,. Everyone uses it in the class forums, and I don’t think I ever saw a definition for it.

However, it’ll never happen. There’s just too many people out there that can’t even be bothered to type out “you”, much less a definition for an abbreviation they’re using.

Whenever someone mentions “Old LA”, I can’t help but think of Lion’s Arch in Guild Wars. Going to see Firstwatch Sergio for skill training, Magi Malaquire on the hilltop the Wintersday and Halloween events, and the barefoot beach parties we used to have.

That’s Old LA to me.
