Your skin will wrinkle and your youth will fade, but your soul is endless.
May we never forget our fellow gamers and good friends we’ve lost.
Thank you Anet.
It’s cumbersome at first, but it will quickly become habit to always equip when logging in and unequip when logging out a toon.
Give it another week, and you won’t even be thinking about it anymore. Possibly even sooner.

Yep! I don’t even have shared inventory slots yet (except for the one that came with the level 80 booster), and I’ve trained myself to unload those unlimited harvesting tools at every character swap.
I’m working for, and looking forward to, getting at least 3 shared inventory slots just so I don’t have to go to a bank whenever I want to change characters.
~sigh~ Someday….
Well, that’s interesting!
</Captain Jack Sparrow>
I don’t know about two people, but I did manage to complete this event a few times yesterday (there were a few failures too).
I think the easiest is on the side of Mount Maelstrom. We just parked on the spawn point and wiped them out.
Also, for those that didn’t know, kill those golemancers!
Passing up 2g for the second day in a row thanks to another HoT “Adventure”.
More free time for tree farming I guess.
“Queenie…”
…and that was the last day that reporter had a job.
They are meant to be crafted, but you probably don’t like that either.
Or maybe some people don’t like the price of the Thermocatalytic Reagents to craft them for how little they are used.
I tend to agree they are a bit pricey.
Yep, they are.
You know that the daily PvE events system hates you when it hands you an activity, a HoT adventure, HoT events and Orr gathering all in one go.
;p
While I certainly have no problem doing the Auric Basic events, and have gotten Bronze in the Shooting Gallery Adventure before, I took a look at the list yesterday after reset and said “Meh, not today.”
So I just did Orr gathering and left it at that.
Lol, it opened in 2007…maybe not the original, though the design may have preceded our GW LA.
Well no, I mean “original” as in relation to Guild Wars 1, since every time someone says “Old Lion’s Arch”, I think of the Guild Wars 1 Lion’s Arch.
I really hope I’m making sense, it’s late in the day, I’m brain tired, and I really want to leave work and go home.
Ah, so the ORIGINAL Lion’s Arch! Nice find.
I got it right away and put it on Jaxxi, my asura engineer. I love it!

I just go to my guild hall and mine the stuff there. Daily done. Ten seconds.
This is exactly what I do, unless it’s plant related, then I drop down to the flax field in Verdant Brink.
We definitely need a key ring.
New
Glide-r-Tron: 500 gems
Finally!
On a side note, whatever happened to Just a flesh wound? I hope he/she is ok.
I too want longer hair styles, but for asura as well! Almost every hair style for female asura is an up-do!
Is no one going to address the “Exotic Dancer Pole” suggestion?
In there, conspicuously added in 3rd place?
If you want to touch that pole, go ahead.
I’m not.
While I’d absolutely love more Black Lion Keys awarded for map completion, it’ll never happen. Anet wants to you buy keys with gems instead (Which I will never do).
Role player newbie here and I can completely understand these requests and support them.
I say “newbie” because I never did role play until I ran into a role play guild a couple months ago, and then performed the necessary steps to join them. Before, I was just playing Guild Wars, now, I’m living it.
I do have iron and hard wood at home, if you know what I mean…
Otherwise, you’re mentioning 2 of the easiest to farm resources:
- iron, go to Brisban Wildlands, NW corner. Bring your alts! Poosh, you just got 350-400 iron in 1h
- hard wood: fireheart rise (SW corner), Iron Marches (center of the map), Sparkfly Marsh (South and South East), should also bring you almost the same amount. Sometimes, Mount Maelström (west- north west) is also very rich in hard wood, or at least platinium in the worst case.In other words: no need for home nodes. If you convert gems to gold, a resource node in home instance would take years to make it profitable compared to wp costs and time spent running.
No question that you are right about how easy they are to farm. For me, I would just like to have the nodes for completion’s sake. I’m a bit OCD that way.
I’m exactly the same way. I’m only a couple of nodes away from having a full home instance. They’re not necessary, they’re not needed, but I have to have them.
Di….did Taimi just “wink” at me?

TIL: Dragon eggs have genders.
Wow, I just did this puzzle a couple days ago with some guild mates. I wasn’t aware there was a bug attached to it.
I’m right there with you OP.
I’m a pretty patient individual and things rarely bug me in this game, but I absolutely despise the Dreamer sounds. Also, the Alchemy forbid if you say something about it in map chat, because then you get two Dreamer owners following you around spamming that awful sound.
I’m still having nightmares over that.
But there are still plenty of us who strive to look towards the positive, too.

That would be me!
…and while we’re at it, can the decor cap be raised?
Wow… from the wall of complain, to the wtf signature, just wow.
Not sure why they think anyone should take their opinion seriously after that signature.
Agreed.
@CMM: Please consider changing your quote to a: […snip…] or something similar. Only ‘cause if that post warrants an infraction, those that quote infracted posts can also get warnings/infractions just for having the post repeated in their text. I’d hate to see you get singed by that guy’s burning bridge.

I’m probably glad I didn’t see the signature whatever it was. Looks like he removed it. Must have been bad. And after that post of his, I can only imagine.
I think it was less that he voluntarily removed it, and more like it was reported.
Anyhow, back to the topic at hand, I agree with posters like Vanye. I’ve been playing the Guild Wars franchise since open beta 2005, but I’m a latercomer to Guild Wars 2 as I started playing it in April 2015. As Vanye pointed out, sure there’s some hiccups, but there’s also been a lot of improvements even since I started playing.
I’m having a great time with this game. I’m sorry others aren’t.
Have you tried RP?
I have! I hooked up with an RP guild a couple months ago, and since then, my characters have come alive
Colin’s comments in this video are hilarious.
Ah well, i still think this game is freakin cool, and to hell with the haters.
Amen!

…we started to go into maguuma, but i feel like nothing was really explained to us in game on how or what is going on. its like we got thrown into a war zone and are expected to survive.
I’m pretty sure this is how most of the Pact members felt.
Here is a plethora of opinions on the subject:

Good luck.
It’s even on the same page, I don’t know how the OP missed it. ~shrugs~

It’s almost like they intended it to be a real jungle, full of all sorts of things what will turn you around, get you lost, and quite possibly kill you. Who’d have thought?
Count me in the “Never heard of this” group.
~thumbsdown~
Boooo!

No festivals for you! Come back, one year.
Worlds collide Jerry!
Got it on my second try without any mesmers, and i’m bad at this game.
I had the same experience, and I have 47 year old fumbling fingers.
Took me an hour, but I got it done.
Will we ever have more content for roleplayers?
What did you have in mind?
Probably never since this game is 4 years old already, and had a reduction of emotes compared to Guild Wars 1.
But I’m right there with you.
If I’m not mistaken, the key reset is Monday (?). I generally do my key farm every Saturday morning just to be sure.
My little asura and I love jumping puzzles. I really don’t care if others use portals, but I never use them myself as I always feel more satisfied that I completed the puzzle without help.
As we moved out, I think this picture pretty much sums up my feelings.
Never enough kittens….or fluffy bunnies.
I want my sword to seek out and destroy any target of my choosing across Tyria while I stay in my home instance and use the /sleep emote.
I suspect this is a PvP thing?
- 2 items 1280 gems vs 1600 separately
That’s really good to know. Looks like I’ll be getting those last two nodes today.
Why are you trying to avoid combat anyway? You’re meant to be a hero! Heroes don’t run from a fight!
Tell that to all the so-called “heroes” that run by your fight, not helping at all, just to get to a gathering node.
Since I was born in 1967 (my first game console was PONG!), I’m no quite old enough to retire, but definitely older than a lot of the GW2 population, so I’m a bit confused as to where I fit in with these generational generalizations.
“You look like you could handle some drakes.”
~scampers off to chop some wood~
When it comes to crafting, I just wish all tab-categories began collapsed — that would be a dream-come-true…
The length of time it takes to craft stuff doesn’t bother me a bit because I’m pretty kitten patient.
BUT what Razor suggested here I SO want!
Heck, let’s ask for an option to disable other player’s avatars as well. That will really reduce screen clutter.
