Your skin will wrinkle and your youth will fade, but your soul is endless.
Dude!
So, would we get a feature like Warcraft did that when you repeatedly clicked on a unit avatar, they’d get annoyed?

Does one counter the OP and their ridiculously obvious troll attempts, knowing that the thread will most likely be deleted, and their post gone forever?
Or does one not post, and simply enjoy reading the thread and the hilarity that ensues?

Whenever I see a Gold Seller in map chat, right after I block and report, I follow up in map chat with:
“Remember kids: If you’re dumb enough to go to that website, you deserve to have your account hacked.”
Map chat is filled with agreements after that.
What is the gift from the dogs?
A chewed up boot of course.
I guess I’m biased here as I built my first PC in 89’-90’ and haven’t touched a console, or controller, since. I’m mouse + keyboard all the way. However, I’m sure others do just fine with a controller.
Maybe I’m just an old dog that can’t be taught any new tricks.
It doesn’t bother me as it is now, but it clearly bothers enough people. So, I vote for fixing.
Pretty much my thoughts on the matter.
Vote: Fix
That useless stuff is an integral part of BLC key monetizing. It’s not going anywhere. I encourage people who dislike the BLC scheme to do the only thing ANet will listen to — stop buying keys. Don’t buy keys with gems from cash, don’t buy keys with gems from gold.
Disclaimer: I don’t expect this to happen because it would take self-control and the key scheme banks on people not having self-control.
Advice I’ve already taken to heart.
I usually go to a city (any will do), but sometimes a safe spot in whatever map I’m in, then head to my guild hall, and walk to my room, say goodnight to my guildies, use the /sleep emote, then log off.
I’ll bet Kaineng City looks like Coruscant or Los Angeles 2019 now.
No, doesn’t bother or annoy me at all.
Well, and long as we’re posting on a necro’d post, longer hairstyles for asura.
They’re hopped up on bloodstone dust, of course they can throw things that far.
My very first mini I bought was the Pact Airship. I still display it quite often.
Cats were once worshiped as gods. They have not forgotten this.
I, for one, welcome our new Asura overlords.
We’re happy to have you in our service.
They’re hiding the Dakara Superweapon. And one day, they’re going to use it on everyone except themselves.
Good thing half my characters are asura.
This is why I strongly dislike acronyms and abbreviations.
The forbidden game!
3. New jumping puzzle designed by Josh Foreman at heart of the Mursaat Fortress
This is such a terrifying prospect that I just want to cry. Cause you know there will be an achievement tied to it.
If I understand correctly, Josh is the same dev that designed the jumping puzzles in Lion’s Arch, Southsun Cove, Silverwastes, and many others.
I, for one, am looking forward to it.
1. Ley Line Gliding Mastery needed to move quickly across the large map.
Oh my!
3. New jumping puzzle designed by Josh Foreman at heart of the Mursaat Fortress
DOUBLE Oh My!!
Why do we always have to have an Asian guy with us in the story? We finally get rid of Marshal Trahearne and now we get Canach. Before Canach it was Marjory Delaqua.
No mater what happens in the story, there is always a token Asian person with you.
Not trying to come off racist but that is exactly what Anet is doing forcing us to always have this Asian NPC with you.Where is Asia located in Tyria?
~EW
Why did you quote me w/o adding any response? Did you misunderstand my question to you?
Let me rephrase what I said for clarity: There is no one who’s Asian in Tyria, because Asia does not exist in Tyria. You are projecting your own perceptions/perspectives of RL onto a fictional world.
~EW
If someone re-quotes w/o reply it usually indicates they are in agreement with what was quoted
We have been utilizing a large part of our GH.
Ours is Lost Precipice. We are currently building a monument to one of our guild members who died in a remote area. We have our own jumping puzzle. We have decorated the arrival area and the market place where it looks really cool. We are decorating different remote areas just to give guildies places they WANT to explore. It has been fun.
We are striving to make our GH a place where our guild members enjoy coming to and hanging out in.
Sounds very much like two of the Guild Halls I’m a member of.
I wonder what future guild halls will look like.
If you notice, some of them even react to their own appearance in the world and yelp. I’ve noticed this several times today.
For me, I’d say my account is worth about a week’s worth of super nachos.
Once, on a whim while playing Guild Wars 1 during Wintersday festivites, I decided to try how high I could get that counter, and eventually got it up to “You have been playing 4 days, please take a break.” I have a screenshot of that floating around somewhere.
If you really want a challenge, just use nothing but your starter gear. Or better yet, wear nothing at all.
No, I’m actually pretty happy with my asura.
As a 48 year old with Myasthenia Gravis (which translates to slow, fumbling fingers at times), I can definitely relate to jumping puzzle anxiety.
There are tools and skills that can definitely help, but I’ve found what helps me is the most is simply taking my time. It’s almost like therapy for me now, exercise for my brain and fingers. I refuse portals that mesmers off to the top because I want to to the whole thing on my own, I want that exercise.
I used to worry about jumping puzzles, especially the big ones, now I look forward to them when they’re in dailies.
Can the lowest setting of this slider make everyone look like Jungle Lord Faren?
Please?
~EW
But then which one would we all follow to adventure?
The very first thing I did was roll a necromancer and took a screenshot of her. The very second thing I did with her was try out the /laugh and /cheer emotes. I think I spent about 20 minutes doing those. I was smitten by the adorableness. Then I proceeded to go get that Inquest golem.
I didn’t know about the meta, I didn’t care about the meta. A year and a half later, she’s still my main character (she was my only character for a long while).
Looking back, she seems to simple and plain compared to how she looks now (all ascended gear), but I still love her.
~snip~
I have never had more fun with a game. I would come home from school everyday and play until I went to bed, rinse and repeat.
~snipped wall of text~
Interesting, because that’s what I do every day when I get home from work.
The wiki has drop-rate research for BLC keys by map completion: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Map_completion/Drop_Rate
It’s around a 25% chance of getting a key… and you don’t get them for the starter cities (or southsun cove, according to the wiki). Of those 16 maps, how many were starter cities?
Sometimes RNG just sucks.
~EW
Really? I could have sworn I got a few in starter cities. Did something change? Am I misremembering in my old age?
I’m going to have to pay more attention as I level my younger characters.
Shouldn’t that be Mini Swordmaster Faren?
You’re losing it Anet.
This is my struggle, and why I would love to hide the wings and large backpacks of other players, especially during jumping puzzles. (I’m the orange haired one in the middle).
Removing the vendor in WvW has pretty much killed any interest I had getting myself a Legendary.
Problem solved.
Freeing Tyria one spear thrust at a time.
Not only that, but 92.89% of the female hairstyles are up-dos. I’d love to have longer hair selections.
Did you do your level 10 story yet? if not, look for a green “star” on your map.
I knew you’d understand me Fleshy. Happy Friday!
…the wonderful world of nachos?
Seriously, why is this not a thing? There are already key ingredients such as poultry, steak, avocado, tomato, cheese, sour cream, etc. Just add a couple more, like chips, and BAM…nachos!
#NachosForTyria
Are you feeding the cat that’s meowing at you? If they’re not meowing at you, it’s not the right cat.
Yep, they were added a month (?) or so ago. I love’em!
Thanks for this PSA, looks like it’s time to load up GW1 again.
On a somewhat related side note, some of my guild mates were talking about getting one of our own a run through GW1 so she can at least experience the lore and other things she’s heard about.
I’m going to consider being able to claim “I was there when it happened.” as my compensation. Someday, I’ll be able to brag to my grandkids.

Character slot expansion: 560 gems
Yes, new RP character incoming!
Wish in one hand, spit in the other, and see which gets filled first.
~EW
Well, at least it’s spit. It could be worse, like spiders or something.

Same issue. The character I’m trying to play is in Field of Ruin.
Yep same issue. My characters are in Rata Sum and Fields of Ruin.
