Interesting. I consider myself to be rather super-casual (totally not interested in PvP, WvW, raids etc.), and I, with my fumbling 47 year old fingers, don’t seem to be having this problem. I’m kind of surprised that so many others are.

As a necromancer/reaper, spamming that 1 key has saved me many, many times. I’ve often wondered what the last thoughts of my target were.

I haven’t read most of this thread, so forgive me if something similar has been suggested. When I said I’ve always wanted something “Asura techish” in other threads, my poorly drawn design below is what I had in mind. Hopefully it can spark some better designs.

Yeah, I pretty much got tired of the…juvenile behavior in map chat I usually encountered, so I keep it turned off for 90% of the time now.

If this is ever implemented, I’ll make sure that the checkbox in my guild panel is permanently left unchecked.

I’d like to know how observant you people are of other peoples looks?

I really only pay attention when I’m doing business in Rata Sum, or maybe in the quiet moments before a world boss. When there’s action going on, I’m not paying attention to what others are wearing at all.

What does impress you?

While I like the fact that we have a plethora of hairstyles and clothing/armor option, I’ve always been an appreciator of “less is more” in the way of not looking overly gaudy.

What turns you off?

View blocking wings, especially ones on large characters.

Well, it’s not the Asura-tech glider I was hoping for, but at least there aren’t feathers so it’s a start.

For me, I guess I tend to lean towards dark, abandon all hope themes such as Hope Falls and a couple of the new ones from Heart of Thorns.

I really miss GW1’s Canthan New Year. The quest running. The food hunting for the event. The celestial minis. The shinies for completing a full round of the chefs. Is it just me?

That’s pretty much where I’m spending my Canthan New Year. The event in GW2 just seems so uninteresting so far.

Not bad! Now my hope for an Asura-tech related glider increases!

If there was some way to store all these endless tonics without taking up inventory space, I’d be all for them.

- equip a faction costume and tag yourself for pvp
- attack someone while he is reading quest as he is not able to see anything cept quest npc due to zoom in kitten while taking quest
- kill him
- unequip costume and smile in his face as he is not able to attack you anymore.

This right here is one of the main reasons why I’m 200% against open world PvP in Guild Wars 2.

• Lighthouse in Lion’s Arch.
• Wizard’s Fief (That one didn’t work out so well as there’s and invisible wall just south of the diving goggle location).
• Durmand Priory.
• A mountain peak in the south of Lornar’s Pass.
• Two places on the north side Malchor’s Leap.

All of them were awesome.

Lots of us were gliding off rata sum and ending up in prison – was quite entertaining.

Prison eh? I’m gonna have to try that.

Don’t give up, it’s not impossible.

I saved this one for last to get my mastery point. It took me two jump attempts, and many, many tries to even get up to the dive point, but I did it…with a necromancer. No help at all from mesmer portals (Spectral Walk helped a bit though).

If my fumbling, not so agile anymore, 47 year old fingers can do it, you can do it too.

Well that’s good to know as I still play Guild Wars 1 from time to time and I would be absolutely crushed if my almost 10.5 year old characters were deleted.

If for some crazy reason a PvP element became necessary to advance the meta in a particular PvE map, I would make sure to NEVER go to that map.

When I created Zerina, I thought I was being clever and somewhat original adding “In Aeternum” as her surname. I mean, who uses that?

I was rather astounded to see about 30 other characters during her life that have “Aeternum” as their surname.

Necro Reaper is my new baby and it rocks. Unless the class is butchered I’m having a hard time thinking I’ll switch again.

It’s tanky, it hits hard, it solos well, it’s 90% ranged.

Pretty much agree. I’m using Reaper as well, and take along some minions (I really love Rise!) for mob distraction, and there’s generally not much I can’t handle on my own in PvE, even in the Heart of Thorns zones.

Just my opinion, I definitely want more emotes, but I don’t feel I should have to pay for more emotes when we had a lot more emotes in Guild Wars 1 that for some reason never made it to this game.

More space is always welcome. Just keep in mind that most storage issues are a matter of poor inventory management, not about a lack of slots. Most people I know that run full toons/banks end up running full toons/banks after they expand bag slots, bag sizes, or bank tabs.

i.e. the best way to have more room is to sell/use/delete stuff, rather than adding more slots
