Sorry, but Thief is very viable in this Meta. Much more than last season. With my current build I can 1v1 any class, and I feel bad for reapers when I fight them 1v1.

I don’t think this particular thief lets them get spells off. Anyways, when someone can’t play a decent ranked match in amber with a team that doesn’t blow, class regardless, he’s very bad.

Im sapphire i been winning every time with necro.
I wish i could play mesmer but its useless.
Theif is the least of my concern like i said its a mosquito.
But by all means keep tryharding with theif its not my problem.

You’ve obviously not met any good elementalists playing with a cleric’s amulet. Good eles are few and far between, but they are most definitely at the very top tier in this meta when played well.

I rather play mesmer but its been gutted over and over.

Stop trying to invalidate player preferences. If too many things in the game are distasteful to too many people, then it hurts the game overall. There’s nothing wrong with people saying they don’t like it.

Again, I don’t have have a problem with ANet including it in GW2 or including them as part of mastery, even if I personally hate adventures (they are too much like all the games that I don’t like and don’t play). That doesn’t stop me preferring that the game gave us more choices about this aspect of account progression.

I know right. A friend of mine leveled up a character purely from map completions.
By the time he got to 96% it was level 80. So he just explored all while he was at it.

Instead of completely changing the adventures = MP equation, how about creating a set of 2 or 3 alternate activities you could do instead?

It would have to be blocked out by tiers of some kind, lest people just do the easiest of each set. And, for each tier, you would have to finish one complete set to get full credit.

A tier might be tied to an area, so for VB you would have to choose between adventures and some other activity. Then, at AB you would have to make a similar choice.

Shatter Mesmer actually had a chance against Druids, but Mesmer isn’t really the ideal person to kill a Druid. Druids excel in 1v1ing and that is it really. They are weak to conditions and being focused down, so team fights weren’t the best spot for them.
That is the main reason why mesmers were nerfed, because they had few weaknesses compared to Druid.

I quit pvp anyway i check back from time to see if mesmer is useful again.

no. I am champion Illusionist i played bunker even when it wasen’t meta.
But its boring so i prefer subpar shatter.

Druid needs a sustain nerf and a nerf on some of the pets.

It’s already not fun fighting one and the only reason you don’t see more is because of how broken mesmer is currently. Once bunker mesmer is gone, you’ll see every team using druid.

DH is good in pvp, I soloed my way to diamond with main DH. ANd now 2 condition removal will be available with 1 skill, that means I will use 2 skills that are good for that, and those skills even do dmg, look out mesmer and ele, DH is more powerful!

I know im playing one. Just for daily. I quit playing pvp until mesmer is useful again.
