If Anet listened to this I would quit PvP for good. No darn class needs a buff, as I have said before most classes has a “one-shot” build and if Anet where to be buffing them more there would only be one-shots. It would be like playing Snipers in an FPS at an open field, the one who finds an enemy and shoot firsts wins. Thats almost how the game is now.

Maybe that is what they are trying to go for? An FPS style of play? It seems to me that the TTL in PvP has been steadily going down as the game has progressed. Perhaps the next patch will include a count-down timer that just explodes you after a few seconds if you are still alive.

Their esl tournament had over 1000 viewers last time i checked usually around 300 who even watched it pre patch so this is a huge sucess.
I was a pve player who started playing pvp again and was bored of
fighting bunkers the whole game it could take +5 min to kill 1 guy.

Condis formulas need to be lowered A LOT

And they needs to scale really better with condi damage.

Professions with 0 condi damage should deal almost no damage with conditions, that’s the point to have 0 condi damage.

Condi damage has to be lowered?
Ask yourself how long Condi Necro has to attack to apply condis to make damage equal to 2s Mesmer burst…

Dhumfire deals 1k dmg with max condi.

You compare condi build with a full glass cannon necro can kill a bunker with 3 lich shots a theif with 10,8k hp with 1 so there goes that logic out of the window

I play a Mesmer.
He’s right, it’s almost too easy to condi-bomb whole groups to death.

At first it was interesting when I stumbled across the build but the novelty wore off fast and it just leaves me feeling a bit guilty.

So yeah, other Mesmers might not want to admit it, but it’s on e-z mode for us right now.

That condi build have counters the best counter is cele dd ele with diamond skin.
Most necro builds can counter it too power or condi.
Running away from a necro is not a victory in conquest.
Its easymode against certain specs like bunkers or warriors.
you can also kill thieves with it but its not as easy as it look.
a nerf to blind could render them defenseless.
Power shatter is another ballgame they can kill necros most of the time.

Nerf their blinding and they will just reroll theif i know i will.

Now all we need is tanks to counter golems

The stealth buffing combined with burst buffing enabling to basically one shot you from stealth if you have under 20k hp is pretty kittening ridicilous.

There should be some cap how much dmg you can do with basically with one attack ( I count 2-3 clone hitting shatter from invis as such).

And its true its much easier to dominate a game with mesmer even if you suck and are slow old kitten like myself

You can counter it. with skills like endure pain when you get stunned.
After that he have no clones and mantra on cooldown you can return the favor.

Everyone have skills to avoid damage except for necro because damage in deathshroud spills over to health if too high so before they had it too.
Everyone have skills to remove conditions and stunbreaks.

I dont understand how random mesmer newbies who started winning some 1v1s can say “Mesmer is OK” when 2 of the best mesmers around (Coulter and WoC) have stated that it was overbuffed and that it needs nerfing.

idk about high tier pvp but in my exp
the team with the least theives , warriors, rangers wins most of the time
Necro is good but they cant carry a bad team they have to get it right the first time

Broken armor doesn’t need to be replaced. It can just be fixed. And as of late, fixing both broken and damaged armor is free.

Blind on shatter is one of a precious few defensive abilities that Mesmers have at the moment.

Heal on shatter was gutted as was chaotic dampening.

Mesmer was the first class to see the nerf hammer and has likely been hit the hardest. I sincerely think this is a learn to play issue.

Thieves have multiple un-aimed AOE blinds. Guardians have blinds, Ele’s, I believe engi… Why is it OP for a Mesmer to have blinds again? The question becomes more relevant when you consider that it’s available less often than a thief blind.

The combination of more useful conditions and class changes has given Mesmers a real chance. To classes that are used to being able to virtually auto kill a Mesmer, this comes as a shock.

Problem about Mesmer aren’t Blinds, Stuns, Moa, Distortion, Stealth or ports. Problem is that you can have the best damage in game while picking some of mentioned above.

Mesmer have the worst damage in the game its been proved over and over
the worst dps unless u r counting training dummies

Easiest is subjective its easiest against warriors or bunkers and generally really bad players
however… against good players its another story.
Necromancers and dd eles are a uphill battle doable but defently not easy.

tbh it would be better with a matchmaking pool of all players so there will be a new rank system based on how good individuals are then
they will be put in respective servers.
but ofcourse we cant have that cuz #Server pride…
Another solution would be to merge servers but that wont be fair for those who dont want massive zergs all day.
anyway i dont expect it to ever be fixed.

Well aside from their unimpressive traits, how could you say that engineers are in a good place when grenadier was not fixed but disabled? Mesmers are in a good place and they really needed the buffs. Eles got too much love from the devs. too much.

Rampage is just a way better Lich Form. Of course, it’s not the first time warriors have superior versions of what other classes have.

Look at Healing signet vs. Signet of Vampirism, for one.

Rampage more cc and armor lich form more damage its a different version.

Bunker was a boring build that I never used anyway. The point is that fights have gotten stupidly short. If you get caught on the short end of a 2:1 fight you pretty much get instagibbed.

Its the other way around in my exp i won some 2v1 usually a theif adds in
but also once i killed 1 ranger+ ele at once which i couldent do prepatch

They need a grapple hook kit but not sniper thats what warrior is for

grenades is the only thing keeping them viable at this point

They don’t lose meaning because there are so many outfits and you can only wear one of at time. So while a lot of people may where the newest outfit, people like me can swap in and out of older outfits.

Its called PRESTIGE its the same in all games even real world people pay extra for gucci or other brands to show how leet they are not just how it looks

Broken skills are waiting for a bug fix. I agree that people shouldn’t be using them, but if it is part of their main combat mechanic… and the bug fix isn’t happening fast enough, what are they to do?
