I got the feeling that Guardians will probably get a bow in the future. Probably Longbow, but Shortbow could work.
They will make the Scepter faster, but shorter in range, and then introduce the Longbow for Guardians as their long distance, but slow range damage.
We got Hammer of Wisdom, Sword of Justice, Shield of the Avenger, and Bow of Truth as our Spirit Weapon utilites.
We can hold all of these weapons except for a bow, and that’s why I think they will complete the Guardian with giving us a bow.
He also said Vigorous Precision is useless. Vigor equals more dodging. More dodging equals damage mitigation and Selfless Daring.
Why would he go for Vigorous Precision when he will probably not be able to crit and keep it up.
My question is: what are they going to do with a massive structure like the breachmaker?
Most likely shut it down.
And then build the new Lion’s Arch ontop of it.
Reddit is just filled with ‘’MY GIRL/BOYFRIEND MAKE ME A QUAGGAN’’ threads anyway.
- Dessa’s arrest where she just reset (not being able to leave fractals)
People believe that Dessa died at the Thaumanova explosion, and that her place is a fractal itself. That’s why she keep resetting herself, like every other fractal.
I’ve read somewhere in-game that the Norn and the Jotuns were both the “chosen ones” by the so-called “gods” before the Humans came along. When the “gods” abandoned them, Norns started to bond with the Spirits of the Wild, while the Jotuns went apekitten amongst themselves.
The Gods doesn’t seem to be aware of the existence of the Dragons though.
I thought I was the only one who wondered about this…
That seems weird, or were they feigning ignorance to their worshipers? But why would they feign ignorance if that was the case? Do they know the dragons will rise once again?
The Dragons existed long, long before the Gods even visited Tyria. The Dragons were asleep when the Gods were around.
It just feels like those characters got put in because of fan service.
Guild Wars 2 ingame chats are usually very friendly and helpful. Even when certain events fails there’s not much hate going on at all.
The ingame chat usually keep itself clean. It’s only the forums that gets too much attention from the bad side.
I’m just scared that the feature patch will only be something like-
‘’New feature added! Armor type search on the Trading Post!’’
- and that’s it.
I get that this is a F2P and obviously it benefits them more to sell skins, but this is getting old.
Nope.
Buy to Play.
GW3 will be probably something like SAB, but more simplified so everyone can enjoy pressing 1 without having to press 1….so exciting!
If there’s at least a Tribulation mode I’m all up for it.
Because it’s been going on for too long.
Too many patches have had bugs that have gated people from doing the content. Containing achievements that makes people selfish and just leech on other players doing the work. It’s always the same with ‘’Gather at the Commander tag and begin zerging’’ because that really has to stop.
ArenaNet even said they were going to polish the last patches a lot to give us the best ending and experience, but it’s even worse or no different than before.
’’Don’t you want to know why I killed all these innocent people, and did what I did?’’
‘’No, it doesn’t matter.’’
^ Is such an annoying line to hear at the very end of this living story. Because everything was building up for this moment.

Was that an satisfying ending? **SPOILERS**

I wanted to fight Scarlet the way I did back at Queen’s Jubilee.
However, I see a problem with the player characters being the one who killed Scarlet. I don’t think ArenaNet should’ve done that.
Our character, if anything, should’ve been with a group of people that can claim they finished off Scarlet.
It would’ve felt stupid if you could walk around claiming to be the one who killed the Lich King back in World of Warcraft.
As Colin mentioned in this blog post, “Due to the size and scope of the final four story releases in season one, the next round of major features will be bundled together into a large “feature only” release that will come after the first season of the Living World 2014 has finished.”
More information on this feature release will come available after the current living world arc wraps up.
Sorry, I cannot see an expansion sized patch in what is called a large “feature only” release.
Doesn’t seem to be the same. A large patch is a large patch, expansion sized is a whole different kind of expectation.
People have different views of what expansion means. Most certain, people usually imagine an expansion to be what World of Warcraft has released in the past and continues with.
Raised level cap, a whole new continent, a new feature is usually what people associate expansion with.
ArenaNet wanted more than the Guild Wars community. They wanted to reach to the Everquest/WoW/Swtor/TheNextMMOclone community too.
So they had to make it easier to define character power.
And here I thought I was good going from a Guardian to a Thief and wrecked in hotjoins.
Looks like one of the many Barbie dolls out there.
There is a reason why Quaggans were called poobags when they got created.
Those models looks close to the first Guild Wars models.
I like it.
I dislike Quaggans, so I really don’t want to see any more of them anywhere.
Don’t stop earning achievement points.
Just don’t open the chests until the change where they are removing glory boosters.
Finding Peter was the most difficult thing to do in this patch.
I hope to see Peter lost somewhere else in the future.
It doesn’t matter what MMO you go to. The place where people trade with each other will always be the place to make the most money.
Not the fastest, not the safest, but the biggest amount.
“Why don’t you play warrior?”
’cause this picture too awesome.
Depends on what you mean with strong.
I’d say Logan is pretty strong.
There are low populated servers.
There are medium populated servers.
There are high populated servers.
Then there’s guesting .
So how do we all rate the end of LS season 1

Bad scaling on the events. It’s also another content which automatically becomes zerg content. Not ArenaNet’s fault? Maybe, but they should see to that so players doesn’t make it into another zerg content.
Achievements for this encourages players to stand idle and AFK and not helping in the final fight. The encounter causes delay lag which makes everyone run at the same spot or into a wall, suddenly it comes together and you find yourself downed.
If unlucky, disconnects pushes you outside the last encounter, so everything you fought for was in vain.
The story was alright, and I think ArenaNet have become better with character development.
What I actually dislike is that you the player is the one killing Scarlet, it will just not cut it in the lore.
I still think ArenaNet should stay to their painted cinematics and not try to play around with the models. Kasmeer and Marjory looked horrible in that animation, it made me cringe.
Now where’s my Super Adventure Box, I need to cool myself down.
I think a lot of people forgot that ArenaNet said that this will just be the start of changing the Berserker meta. This is not the last change.
But this doesn’t mean that they will change Berserker stats more, but perhaps make the other stats more interesting.
But this also requires change to how PvE works too.
This is something that already existed in original Guild Wars and should be added. You could change your attributes and abilites in outposts or towns with a single click. You created a build, saved it, and you could do so as many times as you wanted, no fee required.
The only thing that was needed was that if you wanted an ability, you had to search for it or buy it from a trainer.
- Character focus; IE, your character looks at selected characters/objects (see FFXIV for an example of this).
Your character actually does this. You obviously pay enough attention to that.
You’re the only one who see it though, other players can’t see what you have targeted and what direction you’re looking at.
Get rid of them.
I dislike every single one of them.
- Sittable chairs; easy to implement, often overlooked.
Easy only in games where you don’t have races with different sizes and height sliders. Else it seems not really that easy to implement after all i read.
Off the top of my head, FFXIV, LotRO, WoW, and EQ2 all handle this without issue. And they all have a large range of character sizes to deal with.
I think it’s because Guild Wars 2 got sliders. You can choose how tall you want your Norn to be, or how short. While in World of Warcraft, every race got a fixed size. Gnome players will always have the same height, and so will the Tauren.
A big Norn compared to a small Norn is huge, and this is where the problem happens.
A) Buff shield skills. Reduce the CD and give #4 skill a daze/stun. The #5 skill should not root the Guardian, also increase the healing.
B) Change the visual effect for Aegis, it clips with too many shields out there.
C) Sword skill #1 chain needs to be fixed, the last attack of the chain Sword Wave still sometimes doesn’t damage objects or goes through enemies. Sword #3 skill should not root you.
if its 1v1 vs condi powerhouses, like necro and especially engi, most likely they’ll overwhelm you in the end. need backup.
What about Thiefs that stack confusion on you?
I’ve met many Thiefs 1vs1, and they stack confusion like mad. I’m only killing myself if I try to do anything.
Wrong forum dude. Only wvw thieves can stack confusion on you.
Yeah, I think it was so in this case…
My other questions were for SPvP though.
Even if I have one, I don’t care too much about credit card weapons.
I bug reported this close to the release, maybe some months after.
Clipping is something players just has to deal with, and honestly, it can easily be fixed by equipping a backpiece, so you won’t see the cloth going through the greatsword.
Litany of Wrath is probably only useful in zerg content like WvW or some dungeons, using a staff or greatsword.
Well, I’ve been lucky enough to get a couple of Total Makeover Kits, an Endless Mystery Tonic, and back in the day I got a Greatsaw Greatsword skin to sell.
So yeah, I will continue while you stay there and preach.

5. Maguum leveling Zones 80-90
Original Guild Wars never needed a level increase.
The sequel shouldn’t need one either.
I play a Guardian, and I honestly don’t know what I should do against conditions.
They stack up really fast, and even if I try to cleanse them, they’re all back stacked up just within a second.
What can I do against conditions? Is there a way to easier counter conditions?
Any tips?

Pretty much those were my most liked living story updates. The rest was meh.
It was Mordremoth whispering in Scarlet’s head, wanting to wake up. Scarlet did all this to tap the ley lines to shock the dragon awake. She was somewhat mindcontrolled.
The End.
Then don’t do those achievements. None of those achievements are required for the meta.
Okay, let’s do this.
Here are all of the accounts run by us here at ArenaNet:
@GuildWars2
@GuildWars2_ES (Spanish-language)
@GuildWars2_FR (French-language)
@GuildWars2_DE (German-language)
@ArenaNet
@GuildWars
@GuildWars_FR (French-language, inactive)That’s the whole list. Any account not on this list is not an official ArenaNet account and not something that we contribute to.
Alright Rubi.
But the accounts we list, like Scarlet, Lord Vanquish, Mordremoth. While they aren’t run by ArenaNet are they run by certain people at ArenaNet that have gotten the ’’Yes’’ sign to do so?
For example, could Josh Foreman alone be the one behind Lord Vanquish Twitter?
Magic will continue to grow stronger and stronger, and since there are no dragons to consume it, Tyria will explode of overcharge.
~ The End
Honestly, I think they should drop the personally story and replace it with missions, like the first Guild Wars had.
If you check the map at the attachments, you can see the map is marked with shields. Those shields were missions that played out the story of the campaign, and I think those were really well done.
Even if the missions could be; Walk from point A, to point B and slay X boss there were side objectives to complete additional things for extra experience and skillpoints, and then you could try to complete it on hardmode. Yes, these missions were replayable.
The personally story is fine, but I still think these shield symbol missions were much, much, much more interesting.
Guardians using a shield could have an unique thing, a buckler.
Like a mini retaliation, but permanent. Every time someone attacks you while you are holding a shield, they get damaged. It should not be as strong as retaliation.
I’m not sure if retaliation should overwrite or stack together with this buckler thing.
Could be one unique step…
