Yes farro it would be for the best that your banned. The less people like you in this game the better.
Isn’t that a little bit harsh?
The only thing I did was to fear people of the edge, for the good Halloween spirit! I’m not doing it anymore though.
The globe under the lion will explode, and open up a new path somewhere in Mad King Thorn’s world, where we will do something special!
This is totally going to happen widespread now lol
Mad King Thorn’s will be done!
p.s. Sorry about the jerk comment Farzo but can you really deny it? That said, I totally laughed at this.
I wish I could but no, I can’t x_x
It was a small prank, and it sure makes people fall off and die, and they they are either forced to wait for a ress down on the ground, or pay some coppers, or a silver to spawn at the waypoint…
I’m actually a nice guy, this was just one thing I couldn’t resist doing, and i’m quite glad no one actually whispered me bad things and whatnot, but rather funny comments on the map chat.
I promise, I’m done with this now 8D
you should banned for griefing people
Yeah I suppose, that would be best wouldn’t it?
It’s not easy walking in the steps of Mad King Thorn, because he want’s to kill everyone
I’ve seen many others do the same, but they are using the cannon from the pirate costume. That’s pretty creative
Still, no one seem to be angry or mad about it, people seem to laugh it off, I love that.
Do people actually need speed boosts? I never died because of being slow and the green ooze getting too close, I have died because of jumping at the wrong side of the cogs :P
Do the mission again, and you will get the book again, and then transmute it into the old book.
I think that works..
You can see there is no ground underneath where you pushed them off. I’m standing right where you did it now. I suggest you look before you talk kitten.
Let me ask you, on how low is your graphic settings at?
There is clearly ground where I feared them off. Even in the video I jump off and die.
Was you one of the guys I killed, or?
(edited by Farzo.8410)
The spot you feared them off sends them back up to the top. They dont reach the ground at all. Failure.
No, it does not. What makes them disappear on my screen is the phasing thing ArenaNet got ‘problems’ with at the moment, they still fall down, and die.
I even tried fearing my brother down the same way, and he hit the ground and died.
I even saw the people I feared, spawning at the waypoint instead of flying out from the door.
So no, there’s no failure here, from my part.
That’s so mean.. xD
I know, i’m sorry, but as said, I took the trick before the treat!
The funny thing was that no one whispered me, or ran back to me to call me something stupid or that. People wrote in map chat that they laughed and whatnot.
Love this community.
I promise, I have stopped doing it now, I don’t kill people anymore :>
I love how people watch and fall for it anyways.
Yeah, it looked pretty ridiculous when I put the table up, and started to fear people, but people still stood there pressing the table even if they saw me fearing them.
I don’t know what they were thinking about :o
Have a picture of original Mad King Thorn
No one died. You don’t die for falling off. You reappear right outside the door.
They do die. If you fear them down to the ground below, they die from fall damage, if they fall down into the mists, they won’t die, and will fall out from the door. That’s why I placed the table where I placed it, so I could fear them down on the ground below.
That’s also why I jumped down myself to show that you do die.
Just. LOL.
There was an hidden camera xD
And that camera was somehow attached to my view 8D
Mad King Thorn don’t have time to kill everyone, so I decided that he could use a little help.
Sorry for all those who died in making this video…
I’m actually not that bad, but… I really had to choose trick before treat in this one
Sure this is a problem, and it should be adressed.
But Guild Wars 2 is not the only game with this problem.
The writer is exaggerating this a lot. Even though it is a problem, it’s not as bad he’s making it out to be, and Guild Wars 2 is far from the only game, or even the game with most botters in it.
The lone survivor…
Only given me ToT bags so far, around 6 – 8
It’s really annoying, but I managed to do it afterwards, and 4 times in a row as well
But yeah, Big Norns are annoying
Dat rage in Skype, so delicious.
I wanted the grinning moon shield, but it’s too expensive for me to create.

Tome of Courage is my favourite.
I’m having really fun standing at the last floating platform, kicking people down who still are in costume brawl combat with the skeleton costume 4 skill.
<3
Make costume slots like in original Guild Wars, so you can use them while in combat, doing missions, or dungeons and whatnot.
But to be honest, the transmutation stones comes in the way, they make money by having them in the shop, but to be honest, the transmutation stone system is such an outdated mechanic in a game where looks and apperance means a lot.
It’s sad that you can’t use these costumes in combat, or even have them to cover the appearance of your armour, that’s something ArenaNet should really change, since the transmutation stone is an outdated feature for an MMO which is a lot about looks and appearance rather then the simple gear grind.
I think ArenaNet will earn more money if they changed how the system works, and let us use costumes in combat, but with our gear stats, than the current one with transmutation stones.
I really like the Mad King costume, and the Phantom Hood.
‘’Have you heard about the Asura and his friends? Neither have I!’’
- or something like that.
Hello, there, i’m going to put up some suggestions as clean as I can.
Town clothes and space.
- Like in original Guild Wars, there were Costume Makers. When you bought a costume, you could delete it afterwards to save space in your bags, or bank, and whenever you wanted to, you could go to the Costume Maker and get your costume back, for free. The Costume Maker stored all your costumes for you. This should come back to Guild Wars 2. All your characters could pick the costume up, it was account bound.
Town clothes and combat.
- In original Guild Wars, you had costume slots in your hero tab, that would cover your real armour. You could now do mission, dungeons, and fight in combat with the costumes, that’s something you should be able to do in Guild Wars 2 too.
The stepback from original Guild Wars.
- The stepback from original Guild Wars are the transmutation stones. Guild Wars 2 who is a lot about looks and stuff like that, should not use transmutation stones. Guild Wars 2 should have appearance slots at the sides of your real set armour, and would give you the look of the armour you want, and the stat from the other. Even though transmutation stones surely are a really good way for ArenaNet to earn money from the gem store, I think there are a lot of better things to earn money on, like, more costumes.
(edited by Farzo.8410)
Agreed, but then again Anet wants you to have fun ‘their’ way.
I think I will say that ArenaNet wants you to have fun your way, but with the stuff they release, and give out.
The only complaint I have is that Town Clothes are only used in, well towns. In Guild Wars 1 there was a costume slot, and you could equip those, and use those outside towns. You could do dungeons, missios and whatnot in those costumes.
But in Guild Wars 2, there is no reason to use the Town Clothes at all, except for brawling.
I think the transmutation stones was a huge step back from Original Guild Wars which had costume slots, with Guild Wars 2 being even more heavy based on costumes and looks.
But that is, of course, ArenaNet needs to make money somehow. But still, they could earn money by making what they do best, costumes. Their costumes looks awesome, fun and creative, but it’s sad that they can’t be used like in Original Guild Wars, and that there are no costume slots.
And of course, I miss the Costume Makers, I really dislike that they have to take bag or bank space, the costumes you buy now.
I think that was more than ‘’the only complaint I have.’’
Because this isnt guild wars 1? IF you want to go play guild wars 1, I hear it still up.
Worst possible ‘answer’ ever.
Of course this isn’t Guild Wars 1, this game is Guild Wars 2.
Oh, did you notice? They got a very similar name, but the games plays out totally different.
The Costume Makers in Guild Wars 1 was a good thing. It wasn’t a gameplay mechanic, it wasn’t something that was really needed either.
But it was a great service, to be able to have a Costume Maker there, to not have your costumes takk all your bank and bag space.
ArenaNet created Guild Wars 1, and now they have taken a huge step backwards with this kind of feature to.
I can see in your other posts how you write ‘’Guild Wars 2 isn’t xxxx game.‘’ Of course Guild Wars 2 is not like other games, but that doesn’t mean it should miss out on great features.
(edited by Farzo.8410)
In original Guild Wars, there were Costume Makers.
When you bought a costume, you will have it forever. You could delete it, and then go to a Costume Maker NPC, and he would give you the costume back again, for free, on all characters.
Why, ArenaNet, do you take such a huge step backwards, that we must store our costumes in our bank or bags, to force us to buy gems (either with gold, or real life money), to buy more bank slots, when you can add that Costume Maker?
I can understand the Primeval Armor Skins, and such, but normal costumes, no.
To me it feels like the only way to earn any kind of gold in this game is to play around with the trading post which I can’t.
I know nothing about economy and I barely know any math, or how people think, and react to certain things and whatever kind of mental powers you need to play the trading post.

No worries, we know. ArenaNet knows as well, they are working on it.
Thanks for the reports! We’re working on a fix for this issue.
For those who are curious about the cause, it appears that the bug is with the glow only being triggered if you’re in a map when it transitions from day to night, and won’t work if you go to a map where it’s already night.

Beautiful game indeed.
Having happy times with my friend.
Should they make HoM rewards available in Black lion trading company?

No, they should not. Simple as that.
It seems this patch didn’t fix this bug. I hope they will fix this bug some time in the future at least, until they are done with the current bigger bugs.
Going to bump this one up since people seem to be making new threads instead of posting in current ones.
It’s prestige, it’s something to work a long time for. If you put your mind on it, you will eventually get it. I’m aiming for the human cultural tier 3 heavy armour myself. I don’t even got a piece yet, I just got 11 gold.
I want the chest piece first, and I will farm, and spare gold as much as possible to get it.
There’s nothing ‘’harsh on the casual’’ here, this armour are for the people who are really, really dedicated to the game and would love to show it.
Casuals can get this, casual doesn’t mean you are bad at gaming, casual means you don’t spend as much time as others since you got work, kids, and whatnot to take care of.
You might be the best Guild Wars 2 player in the world, but you’re casual, because you got important matters to take care of, but if you’re a casual and desire this armour, there’s nothing stopping you. It sure will take time, but you will get it if you aim for it.
I think its fun to shout Retreat when you chase someone
You obviously tell the one you chase to retreat!
because firstly anet though about pve, which attract the basement of the community, then they will focus on pvp that it relatively smaller as community than pve’s community.
i repeat always : wait till 1/10/12, they will fix pvp. trust me :SWait until over 8 months ago?
What?
game released officually 28/08/12 today is not even a month passed since release. i repeat wait till first of november at least.
hmm i usually put dd/mm/yy.
But yes, adding more game types would probably make balancing between classes a tad harder.

I found this organ some time ago as well, I then returned to play it again, but as you said, it now does not work.
A similar organ exists in the Sylvari zone, which works.
Since I have had this weapon for some time now I finally know how it works. Basically, you have to stay in the zone and wait for it to turn night time, you can’t enter a zone when it already is night.
One way to fix this is that ArenaNet can make it start glowing when it becomes dark, as in, if you enter a cave or places where the sun can’t reach the sword.
I mean nothing bad with what I wrote below
Some countries does not teach english as much as others, and that might make it hard for that person to understand, and talk english himself, obviously. The best way then to make commercial about your guild is in your own language, if the guild is aimed towards your own country men.
- and from the front. As said, there’s nothing under the underwear, obviously.
This reminds me a lot of The naked man from iriginal Guild Wars :P
This was a player and not an NPC, she’s not standing there any longer.
This is fake.
The underwear and skin are the very base of the model, there is nothing under the underwear, if it were to ‘glitch-off’, you would see clear through the character in those parts where the underwear was missing.
Of course there’s nothing under, that wouldn’t be appropiate for this game, but it still looks funny though :P
Here, have another look.
(edited by Farzo.8410)
So err, I found this naked female ontop of the jumping tower in Lion’s Arch.
That might be something to fix! If you don’t want this game to go 18+, i’m fine with that!
Or is this like this ‘naked man’ bug thing that used to appear in original Guild Wars? and now in Guild Wars 2?
That’s not really an exploit, that’s how Thiefs works. They are pretty much supposed to be able to get around.
The only bug here is that there is no warning for the opponent team that the base is under attack.
I’m glad i’m playing a Guardian, doesn’t matter if I drop the target, I just AoE everything anyway 8D
Wasn’t that pretty much the point of Guild Wars 2? Seeing the consequences of events if you don’t do them or fail them?
