I always thought Skill Points could be a way of doing the Trait system, each zone could have 1 Skill Point spot thats an event/challenge more so than a fight, or a fast talk.

When your in the Hero panel if you change a finisher, go back to main hero panel or swap to a different panel of the hero panel it resets the Finisher you had saved.

Give one of them Power or Precision. And buff the others.

Please make Shield more useable.

Let Shield of Judgment give Aegis boon for 10-20sec to plays hit with this skill.

Dungeons are too rewarding for such easy content. They inject way too much gold into the economy. If dungeons need anything is a nerf in the gold per hour. Either reducing the gold or using mechanics to make them longer.

If you take out gold from dungeons legendaries will be 1k in stead of 3k and players will still have the same troubles making 1k gold instead of 3kg

It will make basic items harder to get than easier, Cult skins will take 3-4x longer to get etc…

Gold isnt the problem, the game will be based around gold if gold, is needed. Instead of more or less gold rewards we need more Non gold rewards, like special skins, AP, titles and minis.

Yea, lots of people got this. It was a random DC for lots of people at once, which is really rare compared to most MMOs.

I lost a winning game because it became a 3 v 4 when it happened.

Considering how often a 5 v 4 is the fault of a player, I think you’re pointing your finger in the wrong direction.

It was intentional by the game designers to keep PvP and activities stabilized. It wasn’t to make the game less fun. From the sounds of things the devs had no choice in the matter because the code used for Toypocalypse is the same code used for PvP (which is a permanent part of the game). If they didn’t remove the party join feature for Toypocalypse, PvP would be unstable. So either way players would have complained. Catch 22. :P

Keep in mind there were major changes to PvP recently. So blame them for making PvP more interesting.

I understand. and thats one reason why I dont do any activities, I dont like playing with random ppl, Im in a guild, I have friends I want to play with them.

Its just 1 less thing Im going to play.

I wish I could say all this is very interesting, but I can’t help but wonder what folks have to do that demands they be in such a hurry to finish something that they’re micro-managing stats in a game like this.

I did stat management similar to this while playing Battlefield 2 in league competition, not in regular server play. In league competition, especially in CAL (where money was involved) making sure you were getting bang for the buck was more than reasonable.

Saving two minutes or even five minutes in clearing a “dungeon” in GW2? What do you have on your agenda, dinner with the Prime Minister? I think it’s a shame stat monkeys create the impression “there’s only one way to go, and the others suck” in a game like this. After all, as ArenaNet likes to say, we’re here to have fun, not measure our *****s.

Oh well. Maybe you can take this level of mathematical precision somewhere and get paid doing something significant with it. It’s charming here, in a way, but it’s hardly necessary. After all, this isn’t The Belmont Stakes, and you aren’t Secretariat.

PvP? Yeah. It’s all gear, right? If you want to PvP, try an FPS. Things are “even” there.

A dungeon taking 5 minute compare to 6 minute your completely right. I do Speed clears but I dont do the crazy portal tactics and I still want to goof around with my friends. But I dont want to spend 15-20min in one that I know I can do in 7min.

I dont have anywhere to go no, But I want to do Many dungeons, I want to fotm and do pvp, there isnt enough time for everything at all times, so If we can speed them up, we save time for other things.

PS: Also its (After 7k hours and 4k of them in dungeons) More fun to speed things up, try new tactics, get better and even set records.

Im a type of person that will always want to play the best way, nothing is wrong witht hat, I dont play with ppl that want to RP walk it lol, My team is full zerk/BIS skills/gear.

Oh and about your FPS.. there are still “Best” set ups and crappy ones, I can make a full forum post about how there needs to be more balance between guns and perks.

Ok.. Lets 1st start by saying, Stacking ISNT THE PROBLEM AT ALL.

Corner stack.. thats different, but with 1 mesmer or 1 guard 99% of the fights the mobs can be pulled together and that….. is a stack.

Stacking gives Many benefits

* Boons

• Cleave Damage
• Mobs not running out of aoe/cleave
• If someone goes down other 4 there ot res
• Res skills are small aoes (ned to be stack to use on multi players)
• Reflects are small aoes (need to stack)

Stacking doesnt make the game less fun, the No need for any other mechanic makes it that way.

Ive never heard/seen a ascended helm drop, Ive had (I counted I may be wrong by 1-2 drops) 32 Ascended armor drops.

My 5 man group, all of us have never got a Helm as a drop.

Is it? I cant do it, tried 4 times.. was more than 100% sure all npcs lived and walked past the end before going to last fight. Just cant get….

Leveling a new character is a nightmare compare to old system….. I used to make alts all the time now I dont even want to at all.

I liked the capes in Guild Wars, especially since the art and animation teams got such a fluid “flow” to the fabric. (Actually, other game designers asked how it was done, back in the day!)

I imagine there would be challenges in incorporating capes, and naturally a cape would cover some of the armor pieces, which is a drawback when you’ve worked hard to get the whole “look” going on. As mentioned, it was brought up in the CDI, so that’s good.

Grab every single fractured debuff (the debuff has a timer on you but NOT on the vortexes), put it on ALL of the shadow vortex thingies. Again there is no countdown before the debuff ends once on the vortexes. Once all of them have the debuff proceed to destroy every single one in 1 swift movement (they all take 1 hit when they have the debuff). Viola you now have the achievement.

I did this and they went away.. Will do it again I guess.

How do you beat him in 15sec from 75% health?

Speed buffs
Getting the Fragile buff and waiting for another buff to come
Place the Fragile buff on the crystal thingy wait for another to come up before killing
etc…

IDK how to do it.

Did you read the last post I made about it?

Its not about the skin its about the fact they are a new zone, a SKIN made to look like things in the NEW ZONE, they need players to STAY in this new zone and to WANT to do things in there, instead you have to GO TO OTHER PLACES to build you back….

Having 90% the ingredients come from the new zone would be amazing, you could do guild runs, reddit runs, friendly dry top farms to get everything you need, it will keep it populated more so than not and give reasons to keep going back other than a weapon skin or ….. food buffs.

Instead you have to do fotms or go to Orr and farm trees.

It doesnt make it harder, or make it feel larger, its just annoying.

Can we get 1 more Perma WP please…. in the new zone. Just 1, on the other side.

Lava Font + auto + Show in stacks does an Insane amount of damage it is one of the higher ele dps damagin rotations, If your stacking on trash mobs, and going from trash mob to trash mob, 1 Lava font and 2-3 autos is normally enough, I see no reason to swap if you DONT NEED TO, if your stacking Might, start in Earth the go to fire is normal, the team should help the ele stack mgith anyways. If your not helping the ele I want to kick you

Max range ranger yes I agree but not Rangers in general, players not supporting others I dont like (Being out of range of support is what I mean, being at 1200 range you dont get might/aegis/protection etc..)

Once i vote kicked afk-er on the phone after being afk for 10 min because i wanted to finish asuran fractal because Mentalist was on in 30 min on tv and i wanted to watch it.

I wanted to chime in and say something I feel is VERY IMPORTANT TO EVERYONE when looking to add any new content to the game.

Difficulty – This is something that is DIFFERENT for almost every player. What is hard for you is easy for others and vice versa.

What are different types of Challenging/hard/Difficult content:

• Jumping Puzzles – Mouse movement skills and visual awareness
• Solo game play – Happy to learn/support your self
• Small team composition – Working with the team not selfish
• Large scale organization – Able to Communicate with many players
• Reactions – Reacting to something with great speed
• Multi Tasking – Doing many things at once
• Flawless – Make a mistake = fail, 1-hit KO’s

Some of these are easy to relate to in GW2:

Teq = Organization
Liadri = Had a few, Reaction, Flawless and Multi Tasking
Pvp = Team Comp + Reactions
Etc……

MANY players find one of these easy and other hard. When making a Raid you have to look at the fact that Everyone should be able to do it, with a little planing and learning.

A Raid isnt something to walk in and Win 1st try (IMO) but It needs to be balanced in a way to not Over due one or the other of the Different Difficulties.

Example: If every boss has a 1-hit kill with a JP right before it, then anyone that doesnt like JP or 1hit kills wont do the Raid.

But if you have 1 JP and 1 boss with a 1-hit KO then players are more willing to over look those to get to the end for its rewards.

Please remember that there are many player bases in the game and not to over do something b.c you may feel its good, but others may not. Think about all player types, even a casual should be able to to them with some learning/practice and multi attempts

PS. End game doesnt have to be blood dripping overly done hardcore only content, End game is something an Experience player can enjoy b.c of that players experience and knowledge of the game. have mechanics that test your knowledge of gw2 compare to make flawless fights is a huge difference in types of difficulty.

1. Eldritch Scroll (ghastly, expensive with 50 skill points)
2. Elonian Wine (cyndrical, sealed)
3. Bloodstone Dust/Brick (“such a trivial thing by itself, but with many, there was power” – most likely not shard, since it’s not trivial by itself and not entirely common)
