As someone who has completed all the JP achievements, I absolutely hated the Mad kings clocktower but loved the wintersday puzzle.

Also the one with the baby quaggans was funny ^^

I have a Guardian and Thief.

• Guardian’s are too powerful in FOTM right now. Wall of Reflection, Shield of Avenger, shouts, and other stuff makes the encounters much easier especially if you got multiple ones chaining them.

• Thief really just has Shadow Refuge and no other utility besides straight damage (which they’re very good at). FOTM you don’t need to use Shadow Refuge, but in Arah’s it makes so much easier.

I have a thief and guardian too and I somewhat disagree, guardians arent too powerful, it’s just that most mobs shoot projectiles. So yes WoR is very useful but thief also has it’s own WoR spell and shield of the avenger; as awesome it can be isn’t reliable anymore because it can be killed. What makes a guardian good in fractals is that the guardian has good survivability in this world of glass cannons. Trust me you can make an amazing dungeon thief, I have before and it had better survivability than any class besides a guardian but did much more dps, you just won’t be top dog in WvW.

as someone who is against elitism and feels its unnecessary I don’t think not grouping with sub 80’s is elitism. At 80 you just want to get in and get out with as little struggle as possible and many times sub 80’s just don’t dish out that DPS you need and cause too many failures and quite honestly there are faster ways to level a sub 80.

Does this happen a lot with that person? I can see people cut their losses and leave instead of dealing with people who pay no attention and expect to be carried. There are a lot of people in this game expected to be carried by the entire group and doing nothing in return.

the problem with that vista is that it’s also part of a jumping puzzle and yeah, it can be a kitten. I’m not sure what your jumping skills are like, but its easiest on a class with 25% movement speed.

add the ascended stats that are missing already, its been forever.

add more titles, like to jumping puzzle completion.

Does anyone know what item people are using to place pink hearts over people’s heads’ that are around them?

I know it’s not the bouquet of flowers and I can’t find any info on such an item.

Nothing is wrong, the higher costs mean a “healthy” economy and if you anger the frequest posters ( who I’m sure have made a ton of money off the TP) on this forum they’ll report and you’ll recieve an infraction.

The choice to make use of this option is entirely voluntary, and if it’s deemed “unfun”, can simply and entirely be avoided.

Actually, rationalization and prioritzation are for the cool kids.

Would rather do a dungeon, or something out of game like, watch a movie, cook a nice dinner, go out to the bar instead of grinding ectos? Then go to the TP to acquire what you would have gotten through other means in game in that same time. Otherwise, come to terms that time is the currency you’re paying instead of TP fees for that acquisitions.

There are the problems that I see. Guildies playing 8 hours a day?

You think being a casual player is 6-8 hours a day? I can assure you it’s not. That is a luxury, not being a casual gamer.

You have over 1500 hours of playtime since release? You’ve overused the game.

There is no way you can see the whole game world in 2 weeks unless you play for insane amounts of time.

I still have maps that I haven’t even opened up yet. Never even been there.

It’s unfair for those players who dedicate their entire days and nights to playing a game then scream at the Developers for not making enough content.

Things like precursors and legendary weapon I do agree. There should be a reasonable expectation of being able to receive your legendary if you work toward it. That is not the same thing as playing with the RNG and praying.

I think maybe you need to take a break and go outside, get some fresh air, let the game sit for a bit and come back. You need a vacation.

How? My guardian (Suppsoedly the most survivable class) dies to it at like 15+. In 10, I have a 50/50 chance of melee not killing me.

1) Which dungeons should I do first to get a feeling for what they’re like without dying too frequently?

I’ve done, countless dailies. I have a bank full of infused rings. 20 shards of essence and I’ve been lucky enough to recieve ONE Fractal Skin, which was a Trident, and I accidently salvaged it. (They have no confirmation window.)

RNG is ruining my fun, entirely.

They need to add it to the merchant. I can’t progress toward a goal of getting one, where as EVERY OTHER CONTENT IN THE GAME I can.
I want an Ghastly Sword? I know exactly how many AC runs I need to do to accomplish my goal.
I want Twilight? I can grind queensdale for a year and even make some headway.
I want a Fractal Sword? Fruitlessly repeat level 28 and 38 Fractals, and pray to the RNG. Which I’ve been doing almost every day.

I’d add 40s into the mix too, if I had the laurels to buy an Ascended Amulet. (You know, that piece of gear meant for content, not actually found in the content it’s for.)

Fractals are the worst content in the game, with the worst reward system. They need to be revamped, entirely.

Want to split on buying a chicken to sacrifice to the rng with me?

Got a vial off my 30 daily last week.

Also the ladies who just want to spend time with you because you have twilight just aren’t long term material.

Less than a month ago the Lover bow was a little over 300g. Twice now all the bows on the market have been bought and raised in price. First the guy put them back up for 500g and now they’re 700g.

Sighz, as I said many many times before. The supply price can only be sustained if there is a DEMANNNNNNNNNNNDDDD for it. Obviously, there are people who think this is worth that much to buy. It’s like freaking Iphones, they don’t go down in price, they don’t do discounts, they barely upgrade their phone between generations but people KEEP BUYING.

You can do whatever you want and make however much you want, I dont care but investing/examining in the market shouldn’t be a requirement to be able to afford high end materials; playing the game (dungeons, fractal, WvW, Events, Hearts) should and it shouldn’t have to be done with a repetitive grind.

Lets looks at (guess what!) legendary requirements as an example, how many people do you see complaining about the ammount of skill points or Karma needed to get whatever materials you need for a legendary? Not many, why? Because you can do that playing the game in a variety of ways enjoying every step of the way without a grind, sure you can grind that part out making it faster but it’s not neccesary. The end goal stays the same so it doesnt feel like a race and skill points and karma are relatively easier to hold onto and save.

Also what kind of silly retort is " buying every dumb set of armor", who even does that? Heck I bought karma armor.

I’m as conflicted as JJ seeing as how the rng gods hate me, perhaps i should sacrifice something..
